Negative experience: Calling this a travel agency is a stretch. For the most part they are a cut rate service to help cheap companies save a few bucks hi s on B yo t els by forcing employees to stay in cut rate low rent hotels. For all that is holy just stop!!! Terrible!

Never have gotten in..total waste of my time for prices that are not much lower an zero help determining if hotels have commercial truck parking which it seems most do not...not even sure why it's marketed to transportation business owners. Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would---BAIT AND SWITCH ALERT! This company presents fake information on their website to get you to sign up then cancels your reservations without notice. My crews were left stranded even after they provided a confirmation of the booking. Money was taken from our account but CLC staff told the Hotel Manager to remove my crew from the hotel rooms. Do NOT book with them. The customer service department will provide no assistance and you will be left with no room for your staff.

Negative experience: Do not waste your time an money with CLC. They say one thing an do another.. The Hotels have an advertised rate and a CLC rate. The CLC rate is usually about 20-30% less. But when you get your bill from CLC the rate is higher than the Hotels advertised Rate. Its a joke and a rippoff!!!

Negative experience: What a nightmare. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews prior to signing up for my company. The rates on CLC are extremely inflated and I see now that’s due to the company trying to capitalize off of small business owners and rob us blind. I only used CLC to compare pricing to Hotel Engine and Priceline etc. Without ever staying in a hotel booked thru them I was informed my relationship was terminated due to declined charges. What exactly they’re charging for when there were no stays, well I guess the world may never know. I found out the account was termed a month later when trying to log in to compare pricing. It was the most displeasing experience as I was told I’m high risk when never charging not one night to their platform. Sounds like a money grab. Do not join. Use Priceline Hotwire and Hotel Engine.

Negative experience: The WORST customer service I’ve ever had! Unfortunately the company I work for uses these clowns so I am forced to deal with the inconsistency weekly when booking rooms. Literally the biggest joke of a company I’ve ever seen
Negative experience: CLC is a money scam company I had cheaper prices with price line Once you book your room and don’t start you don’t get your money back! They tell you it goes back to your card but it doesn’t ! So they really don’t help but end taking your money. Once you find this out then they’ll dis member you which I’m glad because they will charge a fee if you don’t use them to book your hotel! I find cheaper with my Priceline awards so I’m glad that’s over! I wouldn’t refer anyone to this company!! And CLC don’t have to post and redeem themselves because it’s clear on the reviews that that are not a good company to join!

Negative experience: Told my account was red flagged after signing up and when speaking to customer service i was told i cannot have an account. I asked why and they hang up on me. I tried patiently for 3 weeks to resolve the issue. Now I'm going public with their neglect and lack of service. The app is broken. The website is broken. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. The customer service agents are extremely rude and feel you don't deserve their service and do not try to rectify any situation that takes a second to look into. Their information and knowledge is based upon their system and if incorrect will not fix. They will shut you out and deactivate your account if you have an attitude due to their neglect.
Negative experience: Ridiculous. Call a hotel 13 hours ago they say they have some rooms available but will have to have clc call and book one. Call clc to boom the room they said ok. Get here and I don't have a room and they are taking their sweet time to find me a room.

Negative experience: Worst billing system on the planet. In a word where third parties can simply be direct billed or use ghost cards this sleezy company has a system that requires lodgers to do all their work for them on the backend so they save money you doing their side of the billing for them with pay by fax, pay by clc card, pay by virtual voucher. Then you have to fill out when people are checking in and checking out on their own website because they can't be bothered. Meanwhile their guests are usually trashy people that have no respect for the rooms they stay in.

Negative experience: My company uses them. They’re absolute garbage. Every time they screw something up with a reservation. Just got to the hotel at 5 PM, still hasn’t come through. Not like I drove across the state, worked twelve hours, and am ready for a shower and sleep or anything. Trash employees, trash customer service. Do NOT use this company.

Negative experience: I book a motel in Maryland CLC charged me $92 / on a $84 dollar cost i got the room for $68 CLC lodging is nothing but a rip off Really CLC keep your high prices.
Negative experience: DO NOT waste your time with this company! As a small business owner, I tried joining their consortium to save on hotel stays. Their website would not accept my registration so I called their toll free phone number. After being on hold for a very long time, a rep advised me that she could e-mail a sales rep and have them get in contact with me. After 3 weeks,, someone finally called me and in the most unprofessional way told me he had been out of the office due to personal medical issues and had the attitude that he didn't want to be at work. I told him my situation; that I had been trying to sign up online and that it wasn't working. He immediately explained that their companies number one concern is fraud and that they have a lot of people who "live in hotels" try and sign up for their services and that their service is very restrictive because of this. He offered to take my information and do the sign up from his end. I agreed. After giving him all my information, he told me that his system would not allow me to join and then gave me an 800 phone number to find out why and straighten out the problem. After calling the 800 #, I was told they don't answer those type of questions and again offered to take my information and have a higher level sales rep call me. There are other hotel discount programs out there and I HIGHLY suggest bypassing CLC Lodging!
Negative experience: CLC is constantly over charging me and add nights to rooms randomly. I have to watch my emails closely to make sure they aren’t over charging me. I’ve been over charged 3x in past two weeks for rooms I didn’t even stay in.

Its just not the same anymore. This is ridiculous
Negative experience: Hi CLC is a scam!!! The objective is to utilize the card as a token to benefit a cheaper hotel rate. The company is making double the amount ex: The hotel room $120 and CLC rate is $40 if they book the room they make $80 profit if ttey give 10% discount ridiculous. They tell the hotel not to give a receipt. Please report to BBB they are investigating the company.
Positive experience: Great way to book your next hotel visit. The front desk all have very different agendas. Some require credit card to pay for incidentals some require $100 deposit. all handled it differently. Kinda confusing.

Negative experience: This place is a scam and you would be blind to believe anything different. I got charged $245 for 2 nights at a hotel when the hotel told me I was only being charged $161. When I called to ask CLC they claimed that's how they work. I'm so glad everyone is out for themselves. They don't ever save me anything except maybe the tax, and then I can't even collect the rewards points that the hotels offer. Everyone is out to eliminate the little guy.
Negative experience: The company i work for began using clc lodging a few months ago and I absolutely hate it. The app is useless. The online booking never recognize my info for some reason . I called the booking team in two occasions and when they answer the phone they sound like they just woke up from a deep sleep. The best part some hotels are not using them anymore cause they getting the worst part of the deal. I will be quiting this job thanks to clc lodging

Negative experience: One of the worst lodging companies we have ever used. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Especially if you are a business owner. Countless times we have made reservations, get to the hotel to only find out they were never made. Always long waits on the phone and when you finally get someone they are no help. They prices aren’t any better. You can go on Expedia or Hotels.com and get the same exact thing room and price. Look else where or just book on your own.

Fantastic experience: Listen-up all company OTR drivers. Become a CLC customer and keep your CLC card with you on the road (put your company's name on the card next to your name), so you aren't at the mercy of your dispatcher for conventional lodging when you really need it.

Negative experience: They booked me in a hotel that had no rooms available. Wasted 3 hours of the 7 hours I had available to get rested before going back to work
Negative experience: False advertisement. I signed up for this program in early may while working out of state. Rather than paying 140 per night, I was told that I would save a good 50% if u used my membership at participating hotels. The Hampton Inn had a regular rate of 142 per night but with my discount I got the room for 65 per night. When I received a bill today showing how much they would charge my card, it was almost 1500 dollars more than what I had calculated. When I called to confirm the nightly rate at the hotel and what they sent to CLC it was my 65 per night. When I called the customer service rep at CLC he said it was 102 a night which made no since as I could have gotten that rate through the company I was working for. Needless to say, I had to dispute this transaction until CLC can explain to me how they saved me money. When the service rep could not explain to me how, I cancelled my membership immediately and had a group of friends who are still out of state working do the same thing.
Negative experience: Do not sign up for this SCAM they have billed me Twice and then told me I will not get a refund they had over 1200 dollars tied up on 2 of my cards for over 2 weeks and will not fix my issues.
Negative experience: Every time I use them for my business there is always a issue with CLC lodging and the hotel that I booked. Either somthing goes wrong with reservation or they dont honor it because CLC hasn't paid their past balances with the hotel or the room gets canceled. Its rare that it's a smooth transition. The best thing about it is the fact that CLC helps you get to hotels with parking for semi trucks. The rates are reasonable.

Negative experience: First - I constantly call CLC to make hotel reservations. Half the time I am on hold for ever and when I do get someone they hang up - then I have to get back in the cue and when I finally get someone on - I have to plead with them to please not hang up on me again. There has been several occasions when I needed help with my reservation and their back office has hung up on me. Treated like cattle here. Bottom line they just don't need you as a customer.
Negative experience: Earlier this afternoon I made a reservation through you guys for a room in Midland, TX. After 6 hours of driving I finally arrived to my destination I was told by the clerk that they never got a reservation through CLC. When I looked for my verification email from you guys I realized that one was never sent and a reservation was never made by you guys. Needless to say I’m now trying to find another hotel last minute in bad weather conditions were roads are iced over. Definitely not reliable service from you guys

Negative experience: CLC is not for the small companies they only cater to large corp. They want you to get at least 50 rooms a night to really get the savings otherwise you're only going to save 5 dollars here maybe 8.00 dollars at the most, you can go on cheap tickets.com or any other discount site and get better savings. Unless you're a large corporation I wouldn't recommend CLC I just cancelled my account today because it's not the savings I used to get with CLC and I've been with them over 10 years!
Troy, we have programs for smaller companies who only book rooms a few times a month, also at a savings versus hotel discount sites. We will save our customers money 9 out of 10 times versus those sites, and it's important to understand our differences. We are not a hotel discount program (although we do offer significant savings) - we are a travel management company offering services that hotel booking sites do not. Please contact member services to discuss the other programs which you may be better suited for.

Negative experience: This company is God awful at performing their job. I've had over a hundred reservations booked through them and I don't believe a single one was accurate. I always have to wait for the crew fax. I'm always inconvenienced upon arrival. I'm working out of town the last thing I want to do is wait for 45 minutes because your company is incompetent. Don't torture your employees! Don't utilize this company they should get a Z because an F is complementary!

Recently I have been having a problem trying to locate quality long-term lodging and have run into many obstacles. Whether it is the location of the property or the rates of the property, Nicole has tackled the problem with tenacity like no other. She always goes that extra mile. She is easy to talk to and understands the obstacles that are in place, when it comes to finding safe quality lodging. Being a woman on the road I have encountered various types of situations. Having a resource like Nicole is priceless. If I could get customer service like this in other everyday life issues, I know that all my concerns would be put to rest. She is sincere and her work ethic is above reproach. She has never made me feel like I am a nuisance, or tried to hurry me off the phone. She is a phenomenal individual with who knows the meaning of due diligence. She really gets it.

Fantastic experience: Transportation is an ever flowing, constantly changing, fast paced industry... Having more than 50 drivers on the road, who at any time, could need to layover, proves to have it's difficulties... The layover process of finding a room, getting a good price, making sure the check out is proper, that the billing is accurate, adding up all the hotel bills, is very time consuming... CLC has made all of this time consuming work, a seamless part of our business! We can not thank you enough!

Positive experience: I found I had a bit of an issue with our account so I called in and spoke to a young lady named Alexandra. She went over and above to help me, made everything ok and I was done in a manner of minutes. Nice to see :-) The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that this review is for the entire CLC operation, and although it's been quite good I reserve my 5 star ratings for the outstanding companies and services. Alexandra gets 5 stars no question though.
