Fantastic experience: Great service.
Negative experience: Pros: Friendly service. I appreciate him calling with an estimate of one of the recommended repairs, when I had already said I didn't need an estimate. It would have been a sticker shock. Cons: The pricing is weird. The labor for changing a rear blinker bulb (which I could do in 15 minutes, and I'm not handy at all) was $50. There was more labor charged for that than for the oil change. Edit: I emailed the address, and got an immediate response that it wasn't delivered because I'm not in the same "group". Now downgrading from 3 stars to one star. After all, if they really wanted my contact info, they have my info at the store.

Negative experience: if i could leave 0 stars i would!!! wym my cousin brings his car to the shop and for A WHOLE DAY they dont work on it??? several other tows came in after and got their stuff fixed, but my cousin gotta wait A WHOLE 24 HRS for theirs AND they came in BEFORE everyone else? absolutely ridiculous!!! i implore you to NOT bring your vehicle here

Negative experience: Unreliable service and poor manner with customers: my cousin needed service on his car and AAA not only failed to provide accurate time estimates for when the car would be fixed, they didn't even start work on the car until nearly 24 hours later after servicing several other cars that were dropped off AFTER his. This impacted his ability to get to work, get his newborn to a doctor's appointment, and get his wife to work. This also meant my day was impacted to help him find solutions.

Fantastic experience: The staff was very thorough and honest with the assessment of my vehicle. There was no pressure to add any additional services and all of the work was done with quality and care.

Negative experience: We have been members for years and never needed AAA. Then the 1 day we needed them they wouldn't come out. They said the card didn't go through and our membership was canceled yet I saw the payment come out and never got notified that it was canceled. Not only did they not help us when we needed them I now have to fight to get my money back

Negative experience: Note the 4.1 is for all services (Travel, insurance, car care etc.) the engine repair rating averages ~ 2.3. So do not be deceived by a 4.1. I would not recommend this place for car repair. I've had 2 episodes of quotes changing on the fly. Repairs are generally flat rated by the OEM - often available online. This place originally quoted the OEM then ups the labor hours later. I've been told they use 5 different books to determine their flat rate and in my case they - took the highest. Going forward don't waste peoples time - quote the highest flat rate.
Fantastic experience: I visited this AAA location for travel services. Andrea at the travel desk was so kind, friendly, and patient when I placed my foreign currency order. AAA processed the order quickly and it was ready for pick up the next day. Great experience and professional service all around.

Fantastic experience: Went to get a international drivers permit, quick easy and fast. They also take the pictures there and its cheaper than taking the passport pics from cvs or walgreens and bringing it in.

Negative experience: 0 Stars, My engine had problems so I brought my car here because it’s close to my house, after “fixing” my car they ruined my A/C. I spoke to two people about the problem and they told me to come on by they’ll take a look at it, when I get there there trying to charge me for the A/C before even looking at it. It stopped working after they touched my car. Unfortunately im not the only person that has gone through this. Please do not go to these people there just after your money. Did not work with me at all after I spent $1,700.

AND CHRIS CAMPBELL THE CAR CARE MANAGER NEEDS TO LEARN SOME EMPATHY AND MANNERS!! AND AAA IF YOU SEE THIS PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP! Cannot stress enough...DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! They were supposed to fix my a/c and ended up ruining my whole engine and now I can't even get someone to call me back about refunding my $700 I spent on the a)c repair that ended up ruining my whole car!! JUST DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND A BETTER PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR! I don't want people to go through what I'm dealing with right now. AAA you should be ashamed of yourselves! Negative experience: The agent who was supposed to assist me with my travels completely wasted my time! I provided the receptionist with all the itinerary that I found on AAA's app. All the agent needed to do was confirm and check for possible discounts that I may have missed. Instead, she gave me an itinerary that was outside of the days that I requested, and when I pointed this out to her, she said that the promotion that I wanted was no longer available. If that was the case, I'm not sure how it was available 3 minutes after I left. Please do yourself a favor and avoid Amber at the Pleasantburg location. This is the only time that I have been dissatisfied with AAA. I am working with a customer service agent via email. Hopefully, he will restore my confidence in AAA.
Fantastic experience: We went to see a travel agent. After a brief wait we met with Amanda who was friendly, wrote down our desires for travel in Europe and provided us with Trip Tic to 2 destinations in the US.
Fantastic experience: I'm moving from Texas to South Carolina and needed help with homeowners and motor vehicle insurance with AAA. Megan did a great job with my insurance policy for my new home, including contacting my mortgage broker to provide proof of insurance for my closing. She'll be handling my auto insurance when I move. Fantastic experience: Went to get my International Driver's Permit. Really friendly and helpful staff. They took my passport photo there and in ~15min, I had everything ready to go.

Fantastic experience: I needed a map of Washington DC. While they did tell me over the phone they had one I could come pick up, it was not exactly what I needed. The gentleman at the counter was so helpful.
Positive experience: I came in for an oil change ! I was told tire rotation comes with the oil change ! Did not know I was being charged 20.00 to rotate my ties! I should have been given the option as to weather I wanted my tires rotated. They told me I needed to get new tires! I decline and decide to get one tire! 171.00 no way went to Walmart and got a good year tire and road hazard total price 120.00 want be returning there for any type of service
Negative experience: Take responsibility for what you do!!! I took my truck to AAA this morning for some general repairs and got a digital vehicle inspection report. My husband and I spent close to 600.00 and when I got back in the car the air conditioner was not working. Well they ran around acting like it was a _____ !!! mystery. It was working when we took it in and now it is not. The manager gave my husband the wrong number to contact corporate and now we have a truck with no air conditioner. OOH and we are out of close to 600.00. I understand that as a business it is hard to say our diagnostic report does not say you need air conditioner service prior to doing the maintenance on your vehicle but now since we returned it to you in 104 degree weather it no longer works lets get you back on the road with air.
Positive experience: I set up an appointment for 2pm on a Friday. It was very easy setting up the appointment online and getting checked in when I arrived. I was even given a ride home so I didn’t have to wait for the full vehicle diagnostics. Unfortunately there was an issue with my transmission and they needed to drop the pan to inspect it. After calling in a few times over the weekend to check on it, I was told it would be Monday morning before they could get to it. I had told them we were from out of town and I needed to get my family back. Monday morning came around and they still hadn’t done anything until I called in a little before noon. They finally got to work on it after I called and I finally got the info on the full diagnostics and transmission diagnostics that afternoon. 4 stars for the good customer service and how easy it was to get in. I would have done 5 stars if it was a little quicker so my family wasn’t stuck in Greenville so long.
Negative experience: Most incompetent office. I have been a Plus Member for past 20+ years. I was assured that I am still a plus member I moved here and switched to SC club but was downgraded to regular membership. I went in twice but they have not fixed the issue. I tried reaching their leadership online but it is harder to reach them than the president of USA. I am going to drop them and everyone should really seek their own dealers and car manufacturers for road side support instead of AAA. Remember there is no way you can voice your opinion or send any feedback as there is no real contact information available.
Negative experience: I was not happy with the service I received, went in for a oil change and new filters,paid $80 dollars for just a oil change and no filters had go buy them myself and install them
Fantastic experience: My partner and I got our international driving permits here. It was such a fast process. We were in and out within ten minutes. I highly recommend coming here for this service!
Fantastic experience: Water pump broke in my truck upon arriving in Greenville from Indiana. AAA towed me to this facility and Jason and team quickly got to work. I was back on the road next day. Very happy with service and quality of work. If I was a local, that would be my go-to shop for all car repairs.

Negative experience: I was sold services that my car surely did not need after taking it to other trusted local mechanics in my hometown. They pressured me over the phone to get my transmission and brake fluids exchanged from “contamination” when they are both closed systems that don’t get contaminated unless someone poured the wrong fluid into it. I was also recommended to get my spark plugs changed and a fluid service done even though I just got these done. I had to really argue my case to not have services performed, and still had a brake fluid exchange done through shear pressure. I feel highly manipulated and like I will never trust these people again. Why are these employees working for commission off me when I pay a monthly fee to triple A?
Fantastic experience: I have gone to this AAA since coming to college four years ago and they have always been very helpful every time I have brought my car in. I recently had to go in to get my car inspected and they explained everything to me and were very kind to me! They have always made me feel welcomed every time I come in and make my experience stress free! I recommend this AAA to all of my friends and they have also had great experiences here too!
Fantastic experience: Everyone at AAA on Pleasantburg Drive was very…pleasant! We had to order foreign currency, and it arrived in less than 24 hours. We’ve dealt with this office several times and always had positive experiences. I highly recommend.
Positive experience: I was informed that the car needed an engine air filter and consented to its installation. After about 30 minutes, I asked what was taking so long. The agent said they had to send out to the warehouse for it because it was out of stock. Had they told me that up front I would have postponed it because I needed to be elsewhere.

Negative experience: Don’t go here for anything other than oil change. After having battery problems I took my car there and said battery was fine they needed to run a diagnostic test for $150. I said fine they did it and said it was fine. Same problem started next day. Took my car back in on a Saturday and they were very slow, didn’t even seem concerned that they didn’t fix the problem. Arman was the CSR and he was awful! Ruined my Saturday day. literally took 2.5 hours to find out that I did actually need new battery and another 2.5 hours to install. Like I said really slow.
Negative experience: I am a long time AAA member. I've used their services in nearly every state. We needed to have a few papers notarized, a service offered to members. I even called ahead to make sure it was a good time to go in. Even so the branch manager/notary acted as if we were bothering him. He was openly rude , disrespectful of my elderly mother and dismissive. He only had one job to do. Yet he did that badly.

Positive experience: I guess we started on the wrong foot when I arrived I was told one thing about the service and cost and when I arrived it was not as quoted and I was told I had a bad additude about my questioning the person who was assisting me & almost was refused service do to my ask why was it different from what I was quoted on the anishative that I was originally quoted. But finally got passed that point and my car was left for service and repair. And if there is anything that my community need to know once I pick up my car about the service I will send another review.
Fantastic experience: Great job fixing my suspension/tire/alignment after my run-in with a rogue curb. They kept me updated with progress on my car and I loved that they included pictures with the damage to my car and the work. They even picked me up to drive me to the Car Care Center. Couldn't have been nicer. I'd definitely recommend them!
Negative experience: Places like this are why I am very wary of who I trust my truck with. They were very condescending in their tone. A $3600 repair has had to be redone twice and is now failing yet again. And this was after a $1500 repair, and the current issue going undetected. Unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: My car was acting up and I suspected it was on it's last leg. I walked in without an appointment and one of the gentlemen in the shop saw to it right away, checking the battery and getting me in line to have it replaced. They had me in and out quickly, for a fair price and he even turned off a tire pressure light for me and advised me about that. All around great experience!
Negative experience: attempted tire rotation but they found they had previously stripped the lug nut remover and so could not get the tires off. This is at least the 2nd time and possibly third time that this has occurred. On another car, they did not tighten the oil cap, so when car was started, it blew out the engine.
Fantastic experience: Very professional service from the front of the house to the technicians working on the vehicles. One of the few places around that has a proper waiting area as well. I highly recommend these folks.
Negative experience: My wife was taken advantage of for a basic oil change and tire rotation. When these place see a female alone they get the doller sign in their eyes. Over 200 dollars for oil change, tire rotation and supposedly the filters were bad. We will not return here and I will take her car myself. It's a shame that the service companies take advantage of a female.
Negative experience: The mechanics at AAA took advantage of my wife while I was home on quarantine. She hydroplaned into the shoulder of the road. They changed out 4 tires and did some other repairs. This is what bothered me. They charged us $100 for cleaning underneath our car… this was a month ago. I’m still pulling out grass and debris that they missed. Also they lied to her. During her wreck one of her wheel covers fell off and she forgot to grab it. We knew that. When she showed up to pick up her car they told her that the wheel cover was too badly damaged and that it wouldn’t go back on the car… but not to worry. You can get a pack of 4 for $20… nope. Honda wheel covers cost $40 and upwards for just 1. This place is an absolute scam. 0 STARS

Jessica was very helpful to try to give us the best perks for our trip. They had a sign on the door for mask adherence and had barriers between you and them. Fantastic experience: We couldn't be happier with our experience at the AAA garage on Pleasantburg. We broke down on the way out of town (smoking brakes) and when we couldn't find a single garage that could take our car sooner than 8 days, Chris made it happen for us and got our car fixed in record time. We feel very confident in the work that they did, and they even test drove it to make sure it was safe. Thank you so much!!!
Negative experience: The roadside assistance went well and they took my car to this place. I needed a new alternator and they tried to tell me many other things I needed (which I really did not). They quoted me 1700 dollars. I took it somewhere else and got it fixed for way less than half of that. They guy at the new place did not find that other thing were wrong. Seems to me they were trying to make up stuff to get money out of me. Will never get my car fixed here.
Fantastic experience: Most excellent service I’ve had in my 75 y young. The computer printout of all needed repairs. Shows the problem. As a woman I felt as if I was respected and intelligent enough to make decisions on what I saw. Also any explanation I needed the guys were great to do. On one issue the light harness the service guy himself came in to tell me what he saw. I would recommend100%. And will be returning. To my knowledge they have if not best price on synthetic oil change very close. As they are expensive but of course worth it. Thanks AAA team again.

Negative experience: Used the travel agency services.They were in knowledgeable and non informative of my very expensive trip which cost me an extra $2100 by the time I got home. When problems occurred during trip they were not helpful even made the situation much worse. Unable to even change a flight departure city a week out we were forced to purchase brand new tickets and loose all the money from the original flights. I found them to be incompetent, unprofessional, and our trip was ruined. Do your homework and stay away from AAA. Complaints to upper management were ignored and they never responded back after saying they would check and get back with us. Planning another trip but definitely not with AAA.
Fantastic experience: The Pleasantburg Drive shop has aways provided top service for my vehicle. I have had them do my work for approximately 3+ years and they are Superb.
Fantastic experience: Love AAA! Misplaced membership card. Went in with a friend who was handling an insurance matter. Went to the opposite side of the room to the general counter and told them what I needed and my temporary cards were printed out in less than two minutes. Excellent customer service, too!
