Fantastic experience: We had a fabulous trip to Thailand and Singapore! The hotels were top notch, the Thai guides (Sharky & Kitty) were extremely helpful, funny, and knowledgeable, and the activities were amazing. It was a great way to celebrate our 25th anniversary and our total experience exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Affordable World to others considering going with them.

Positive experience: My experience Booking a Trip with Affordable World Travel, to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, MT Fuji, Japan was good. I had 6 people family members in our group of travelers. There were good communication with Affordable World, throughout the process. As to our experiences in Japan, we enjoyed our selves while in the country of Japan, however, what I am about to share, is not a "Criticism" it's just an Observation, based upon our time spent with our Tour Guide, our Tour Guild had difficulties or "Barriers" regarding communicating clearly in the English Language, we had to listen really hard to her, and at times, we could not understand her, it became really frustrating and disappointing, however, overall, we had a great experience.

Fantastic experience: We had the absolute best Thailand experience and feel we have a lot of that to owe to Affordable World. We had the best tour guide ever "Sharky" - I only wish you all get to have him yourself! Between the flights, very nice hotel accommodations, travel between cities, included and optional tours, and a full time tour guide Affordable World is worth every penny. Thank you Sharky for everything <3

Fantastic experience: We traveled with a group of friends and would do it again through this agency. Our tour leader Noom was phenomenal! He was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. If we travel in the Thailand area again, we will be requesting Noom. The itinerary Affordable World created for us was top notch from transportations to accommodations (5star) to tours! We couldn't imagine trying to coordinate this trip ourselves.

Positive experience: We took the Istanbul and Greece tour in October 2024. We had an amazing time. All of the tour guides and transfer agents were friendly, helpful, and informative. The hotels included were all 4 star. If you are a hotel snob I recommend upgrading the hotels which they offer. 5 stars is just a better customer service and amennity experience in my opinion. All of our details were taken care of. We opted to enjoy a free day in each city to explore on our own and that worked well for us not feeling like we were on a schedule while on vacation. If you are a structured site seer, sign up for the upgraded tours. The included tours were great, please tip your bus drivers!!! Bring cash in local currency many small vendors and restaurants prefer not to take credit cards. (HIGH FEES) Many refused to take AMEX. Laura in Athens was amazing, our tour guide in Istanbul was great. It was an overall amazing experience. I'm planning to go on another tour with Afffordable World in 2025!!!

Positive experience: I have to give a 3 stars because of Athen and Turkish Airways. The hotel in Athens " Athens Avenue" is not a hotel I would revisit again or recommend. went for dinner at the hotel and was told they could not serve us cause they had to many people to feed, yet the restaurant was pretty much empty, ( I know it makes no sense and sounds ridiculous but its true) we had to wait until the Womans basketball team finished eating their buffet and what was left we could eat from. "CRAZY" Turkish Airways we traveled from Miami to Istanbul and then Istanbul to Athens, on the return it was the same Athen to Istanbul and Then Istanbul to Miami. all four flight consisted of the rudest people ever, asking for water on an 11 hour flight was un heard of, the stewardess said "I can't I have to much to do". I have never heard of that before, not willing to help it felt as if you asked them for anything it was an inconvenience for them, Aside from that the guides at all destinations were amazing with us at all points, Santorini and Mykonos was amazing the accommodations were all above and beyond. We will traveling in 2025 with Affordable to Italy, I definitely do recommend them.

Negative experience: Me and my wife booked our trip 7 months in advance. We have used this company several times without issue. This time when I checked in to our flight, our seats are separated. Why would we need be seated together? Especially after booking way in advance.

Fantastic experience: I have never been taken care of so well. This was a no worries trip, just what I needed! First time to Thailand and this company was amazing. The right blend organizing tours and free time. There were certain things I wanted to see, and our tour guide,Kitty, got us to the extra things and was able to recommend opportunities for us on our free time. I wanted a coat made for me while I was here. She arrange the entire process. Kitty was very knowledgeable and the love of her country she shared with us is something you cannot achieve on your own. Her personality was so welcoming, helpful, and fun. Enjoy a no risk trip to Thailand with Affordable World.

Fantastic experience: OUTSTANDING!!!!! Luann was SUPERB. Thank you for your professionalism, knowledge. support and your patience from the beginning to the end. This was a trip for six beautiful and hardworking sisters through blood and friendship. A much needed trip with no expense sparred. The accommodation were exquisite, impeccable, quintessential to say the least. The tour guys Laura - Athens. Ellie - Mykonos and Demetrius - Santorini were all so professional and hands on. This trip was so worth everything and more. Again, Beyond Grateful and Thankful for the journey.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved our trip to Istanbul and Greece. We saved and planned for 2 years and Affordable World did not disappoint. The only feedback i would give is to provide water to passengers on the bus rides. Some are long and water would be nice. Also, some tour guides were much better than others. The ones that stood out, always announced themselves, introduced themselves and gave us complete instructions on what was happening next. A few did not do this and it was very confusing for everyone but more for the older population. One bus was late for pick up to the ferry. I knew we would make it as we were staying very close to the ferry. But again, the older population worry so much more and get easily stressed. Communication would have been nice during this incident. We upgraded a room in Athens since we would be staying there more nights than the other places. The hotel I chose was not available so AW did put us in another 5-star hotel. Our room was lovely but was shocked that the ceiling and around the windows was totally water-stained. I made a comment to our representative and the next day we were offered dinner at the hotel which will be my most memorable dinner of my life overlooking the Acropolis at night. STUNNING!

Positive experience: Our Japan trip was amazing! The country is so beautiful as well as their people. We didn't run into any major issues, however, there are a few things I would like to mention. We arrived in Tokyo on 10/2/24 at 1pm, we were very excited to finally start our vacation, we were met with an airport and Affordable World rep. that informed us the bus would be picking us up at 4pm. We had 3 hours to kill in the airport or pay our own way to the hotel, which was approx. $200USD with Uber/taxi. We opted to wait in the airport, we didn't arrive to our hotel until approximately 7:00pm that evening. Had we known there was going to be such a long wait, we would have made arrangements from home to make our way to the hotel on our own. We met our guide Yoshi on Friday 10/4/24, a very kind man. He was always very joyous and made himself readily available to us. Our group was small (12 people in the beginning) so it was easy to engage with him, his English was a bit rusty, when we asked him questions about the country, he didn't always have an answer. I wish he was more knowledgeable with the areas where our hotels were situated, so we knew where to go for dinner or shopping. The excursions were timely, however, on occasion we felt rushed on the tours due to time constraints. Maybe we should have an option to cancel an excursion if we are running late due to traffic, which we did encounter more than once. Unfortunately, the last day in Kyoto we really had to rush through the castle and Temple visits. Also, the 5-course meal in Tokyo, was odd. We received a very high bill at the end even though we had already paid for that dinner excursion. Yoshi intervened once we all complained, because we were told only the drinks were not included. Some of our travel companions had bills for over $200 dollars! I ordered 2 ginger ales, and my bill was over $50. Thankfully that whole scenario was resolved, but it left us with a weird feeling about the communication between Affordable World and the venue. Overall, we had a fantastic time and most likely will use Affordable World again, this is our second time with them. We just wish the excursions were flexible and we could understand our guide better. Thank you Affordable World!

Positive experience: The tour moves fast. You 'see' many sights but are unable to spend much time at each one. Long 6 hour day from Fugi to Nara/Kyoto. Flights are routed 6 hours longer than necessary. Nice hotels.

She had the inside scoop, she looked out for us, and she made our trip very special. The accommodations were topnotch and the breakfast (really a brunch) was over the top. Fantastic experience: This was my 2nd trip with affordable world. I loved my Thailand trip so much I booked this Turkey and Greece trip. It was phenomenal! I didn’t know too much about Istanbul, so I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was. The hotel was beautiful with an amazing view of the Marmara sea. It was centrally located and easy to walk to all the sites. The Basilica Cistern was my favorite. The only thing I wished they told me was we were supposed to check in online to reserve our seats with Turkish airlines 24 hours in advance for our trip to Athens. Because we didn’t do this it created some stress as we almost weren’t able to make our flight. Thankfully they were able to fit us in at the last moment. Our guide in Athens was amazing. She had a whole itinerary printed out for us. Santorini was beautiful! I highly recommend adding the optional sailing tour. All and all this was the trip of a lifetime and I will be booking another trip with affordable world soon. It’s great that they include all of the transportation, guides and tours. I definitely don’t think you could beat the price for the value they give you.

Fantastic experience: Affordable World is THE TRUTH! Traveled to Istanbul, Athens and Santorini with my husband and 21-year-old son for a family vacation. As it was my first time enlisting the services of this tour company I was a bit apprehensive. Indeed, I wondered if the affordably priced package would turn out to be the high-quality value laden vacation it promised to be. In a word: AWESOME!!! The drivers who arrived promptly for transfers, tour representative (Olga Vitoula), and guides (John in Istanbul, Laura in Athens and Margarita in Santorini) were so personable, accommodating, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile. Affordable World really partners with some top-notch tour operators in the visiting countries. Also, the accommodations chosen were exceptional and true to the 4-5 star ratings. The only con in our experience was towards the end of our walking tour in Istanbul in which we were taken to a “fashion show” at a clothing/jewelry boutique. It was a bizarre cheesy attempt to entice us to purchase merchandise (although we were told we were under no obligations). Everything else about this trip was so amazing that we were willing to overlook this hijacked moment but do recommend Affordable World look into this so future travelers are not blindsided as we were. Having said all that, I will DEFINITELY choose and recommend Affordable World for future travels.

Fantastic experience: WOW what a trip! My husband and I chose to do the Thailand tour through Bangkok and Phuket for our honeymoon. Was a bit skeptical at first as I found this company on Groupon and the price was so cheap to include the flight! But we had an absolute blast and everything went so smooth. Sharky was our tour guide- he was awesome! Made our trip so fun and easy with the included transportation/activities and he also hooked us up with private Thai massages and Thai boxing activity that we wanted to do outside of the tour. This has been our favorite trip by far, would recommend to anyone as there is so much to do. Definitely go to the elephant sanctuary!!! We also upgraded our rooms- would recommend that too if you can splurge.

Positive experience: They are so easy to use and our guide was very friendly. Our guide helped arrange massages for us and helped navigate some other activities. I gave it 4 stars because the tours, although interesting, catered to an older crowd and I had a teenager. We enjoyed the tours, but our favorite tours were scheduled on our own. All the same, this was a great value and made traveling to different locations easy. I would use them again.

Positive experience: With my previous positive experience with Affordable World in Thailand, I chose them for my Japan tour as well. Although the hotel selections were on par with my expectations, I feel that inclusion of more cultural experiences would enrich the tour. Adding activities such as geisha culture, ramen-making class, shinkansen ride, and kimono-making would provide a deeper understanding of Japanese culture. Nevertheless, I had a pleasurable experience and would recommend Affordable World to anyone looking forward to visiting Japan.

Fantastic experience: Affordable World is THE best travel agency. We originally booked for a trip to Thailand to travel in 2020, but due to CoVid19, we were unable to travel, and Affordable World accommodated us by returning our deposit quickly and completely. Because of their genuine response to the pandemic and their willingness to return our deposit, we chose to travel with them this year. It was a great adventure at an amazing price. We arrived in Bangkok and were greeted by Khun Somsak. He was friendly, informative, and spoke English flawlessly, while valiantly attempting to understand our limited knowledge of the Thai language. He was an excellent tour guide and provided several opportunities for us to consider when not touring with the group on our free days. His knowledge of Bangkok, its residents, and history, and the same of Krabi and Phuket, made our trip informative, and fun. We would definitely consider Affordable World again when traveling to one of their available destinations as their staff and agents make traveling easy and affordable, not to mention exciting and fun!!

Negative experience: The coordination and communication between affordable world and the tour company in Greece was non existent. Affordable world is a third party and often can’t answer questions or provide details. Upon arrival tour company didn’t even know one tour was rescheduled due to our arriving flight delay. The itinerary we were given upon landing did not reflect changes and we were very confused. Another annoying detail was that we were not provided a detailed itinerary before we left which made planning other activities very difficult. How can you plan when you are told “ enjoy the morning at leisure before transfer to port”. It’s ridiculous. Never again will I use affordable world.

Fantastic experience: My family and I had a great time . Our tour guide Sharkie ( i am definitely spelling it wrong) was punctual , informative and knowledgeable. Included flight, hotels , some tours ( some we bought through affordable travels some we did on our own and breakfast with some days we were served lunch. My advice if you do an excursion in Bangkok specifically traffic is crazy a 20 min drive can take up to an hour . So be mindful . Had a great time and would definitely use affordable travel again .

Positive experience: The trip to Thailand was beautiful. Very hot though. Affordable World fulfilled their every promise by providing drivers in AC vehicles, wonderful tour guide, took us to many adventures/places and booked wonderful hotels. The only negative thing was that this trip is advertised mainly on the gorgeous images of Krabi’s clear waters, but the entire beach was jelly fish infested (WITH NO SIGNS) and my daughters were injured. Needless to say no one else went swimming there… which defeats the advertised images.

Positive experience: My trip to Japan was very well worth the price and experience. The cities we visited for our first time in an Asian Country was perfect. Loved the Cherry Blossom Season. Trip was well organized. Only Considerations I had for giving a 5 Star was our tour guide had a very difficult time communicating in English. Translation and connecting with us was very bad... We missed a lot of the history and highlights of the areas we visited. We had to google the information prior to arriving so we were well informed. Just not a good interaction for him or for us as I know he was trying. The bus driver Elvis was a wonderful and fun! And one lodge/hotel was changed at the last minute. This hotel was in the Mt. Fuji area and it was terrible. Old, Food Terrible and lights in the hotel bedroom would not turn off-had to call the service department at 11:30 at night. A few of the others in the group slept in their clothes and outside the covers on the bed. I would really check out the hotels before booking and I know they have the right to change the accommodations per the contract. But, this place was terrible. Jiragonno Fuji No Yakata. Do not go there!

Positive experience: In comparison to the Thailand trip with AW, Japan was a bit too rushed, squeezing in way too much where you’re not able to truly appreciate the tour stops to their fullest. I suggest down selecting the tour options to allow us to truly enjoy things instead of literally running through them. We were starving for much of the driving time on the trip…often stopping at 7-11 or crowded rest stops for meals (but not having enough time to purchase quality meals). Suggest making reservations to a restaurant as a group to ensure everyone ate or a quick stop at McDonald’s. Also suggesting for us to pack more snacks on the bus to avoid starvation. The view at the hotel at Mount Fuji was incredible but the meals (dinner and breakfast) were absolutely horrible! No one in our group ate. A group of us asked if we could stop at McDonald’s and were turned down. Also, it would’ve been nice to get helpful tips (ex: upon arrival to Tokyo on the last leg, would’ve been nice to be told to rush to Tokyo tower to purchase tickets for the tower for later that night since they sell out quickly. We casually walked there later and were told it was sold out, when visibility was amazing before the rain came in the next day.) There were a lot of missed opportunities where we could’ve been given tips and suggestions to make the trip that much more meaningful. Not all was negative… The sites and cities were absolutely amazing and our tour guide was lovely, charming and very knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time using affordable world and travel solo. I will be using them again. Everyone was great and i felt comfortable traveling. Met some nice people and just over all enjoyed my time.

Positive experience: Positives: The hotels and transportation for the trip were wonderful! The hotels were very nice and comfortable. Affordable world accommodated our request to keep our groups rooms close together. Our guide was very kind. Having a free day in the cities was wonderful. Negative: Our guide, while kind, was not very informative of the places we visited. Stops are sites were very rushed so and we were given minimal information about the sites visited. The information given was mostly read off a note sheet and was said very quietly. We had to ask multiple times so we could hear what was being said. We would have liked more time to actually see the sites instead of jogging around them quickly to get back on the bus. Especially with crowded areas it felt more stressful than enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! Excellently executed tour. Accommodations were gorgeous and tour guides were knowledgeable, and helpful. The excursions were great and definitely worth the price. Love the option to pre-book or to add on the day of. Truly enjoyed my vacation and would be extremely confident in booking with Affordable World again.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing trip with a wonderful tour guide, Baguse! We learned all about the culture and loved our upgrade to the open air Nadini hanging gardens hotel! We also upgraded to the Westin but that hotel had a few issues. Management was very kind and moved us to a suite for the last two nights as a courtesy but we still experienced a few issues in that room as well, however being able to spend time at their sister resort the Laguna was a highlight. Overall highly recommend this trip just maybe skip upgrading the second hotel.

Fantastic experience: This was one of the most rewarding, fulfilling, humbling, exciting and excellent moments in our lives. Because of Affordable World, my family and I were able to have an experience of a lifetime and create forever memories, together. We traveled to Greece via Miami to Istanbul, then Istanbul to Athens on Turkish Airlines. We then took a ferry from Athens to Thira (Santorini) and we’d encourage upgrading to business class on the ferry (well worth the 8hr trip for views). Each tour guide, driver and Peter (who met us at the airport with a sign) was very kind, welcoming and generous with knowledge. English was primarily spoken, but was not required for us. I would book with this tour company again and again. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My friend and I just completed the Thailand Escape: Bangkok, Krabi & Phuket vacation and had a wonderful experience. Kitty was our tour guide and she deserves 10 stars! She was so kind, knowledgeable, considerate of everyone’s needs and funny! The flights were long and the food on Singapore Airlines left a bit to be desired, but the service was impeccable. Just ensure when you check in that you are not seated near a young children for your 15+ hour flights. Starting the long journey off with crying kids didn’t help me decompress while preparing for such a much anticipated vacation. The hotel accommodations were beautiful and amazing, although the beds were too firm. The breakfast included everyday was wonderful with all the familiar foods I needed while traveling abroad. The tours were enlightening with such rich historical and local traditions. Our group of 22 was large enough to feel connected to others, yet small enough to feel like you were vacationing on your own. We met some amazing people and had a great time.

Fantastic experience: We have never done an "all in" vacation (Flights/accommodations etc) but Affordable World came by recommendation, and I feel we would recommend them as well (in fact, we already have). While there wasn't much communication needed, if there was a question or concern, it was addressed in a timely fashion and with the information needed. But all of the links, info etc is all there. It's very thorough so you have all the tools you need to take advantage of a trip that for us, (Maldives) required much info on Visa's, flights, excursions etc. They partnered up with the Adaaran Select Huduran Fushi which was a great Resort. Everything promised was delivered. Highly Recommend!

Positive experience: This was an amazing trip! All of the accommodations were nice and clean! The tour guide, Chaki, was awesome! I liked that the same tour guides followed us to every island. There are two reasons I cannot give five stars: 1. We were not aware of the luggage limit for the Intercontinental flight from Bangkok to Krabi, which resulted in several individuals having to pay extra baggage fees. 2. The dinner cruise excursion was not good. The food was less than desirable and cold, and the entertainment was not exciting. Other than that, the trip was great! I will use Affodable World again!

Fantastic experience: Went on a Bangkok/Phuket 8 night tour and had a blast. Our guides, Tiger and Patty, were wonderful. We saw beautiful temples, played with elephants, had many great meals, fed monkeys, went on several boat rides including to James Bond Island. We highly recommend this tour. Was a trip of a lifetime.

Our choice was Thailand Escape: Bangkok, Krabi & Phuket, 10 days. flight to Thailand was very good (Singapore Airlines are great) with short layovers in Frankfurt and Singapore. We loved Thailand - the views, water, the culture and the people. Views are amazing- I took million pictures. Weather in November is wonderful - no rain, sunny and beautiful days. Our tour guide, Patty was great! she was funny, very social, talked a lot about the country, the customs, pointed out to various interesting places. she was very well organized and helped people with various requests that we had. She was also very friendly and remembered everyone's names very quickly. Amazing person. what I would change is the trip to Elephant Sanctuary - from Phuket there is one sanctuary located only 15 minutes away from the hotel. We went to a different one that was 3 hours away from Bangkok. also, i would prefer one more day longer in Phuket or Krabi versus in Bangkok. And if you are into animals - Elephant Sanctuary is gorgeous. We actually went twice because I loved it so much. Elephants are such wonderful animals. and also monkeys - these are a little crazy and you have to be careful so they don't bite you but they are so much fun. the travel back to US took us 52 hours (two long overnight layovers in Singapore and Frankfurt so we had to rent the hotels) but I guess this is the "price" you pay for the affordability of the whole trip.

Fantastic experience: The tour was planned great! Plenty of included and add on excursions. Our tour guides Sharky and Noom were wonderful, full of personality and very professional. You always knew what to expect and both hotels were beautiful! Not the best flights but the rest of the trip package made up for that part.

Fantastic experience: Alice and Yu were some of the most knowledgeable and friendly tour guides I’ve met in Thailand. This was my third trip and second tour in Thailand and there were a big part of our trip and their organization and communication made it a relaxing and even more enjoyable trip.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Affordable World was amazing! No joke. We first saw the advertisement on Groupon. We were hesitant to book, bc it was Groupon and we'd never booked traveling through Groupon let alone internationally. We did a butt load of research, I reached out to ppl on IG, my dad went to their offices and found out they were legit. So, we took the chance and booked their deal to Thailand. Boy was tht the best decision! First off, Thailand is freaking amazing and beautiful, please visit. We booked a 10 day/8 night deal to Bangkok (4days), Krabi (2days), Phuket (2days). Bangkok was so amazing, if I go back, I'm not leaving. We had 5 star hotels at each location & breakfasts. We had lunch also but not everyday. Excursions were available everyday, but you do have the option to opt out. We also did the elephant sanctuary as an additional Excursion. Our tour guide Ken, was so sweet and very caring. What I loved most, is if you wanted to venture off on your own, he made accommodations to help get you there if you asked. He was simply wonderful! I would also recommend to maybe take a day to yourself so you can explore other parts not included in the itinerary (the Tik Tok/IG stuff), bc the days can be long when you do the tours then try to explore on your own, esp when trying to push thru jet lag! We visited temples, markets, islands, and more. Separately, we also visited Phi Phi, Tiger Park, and the Big Buddha. Transportation for everything was included unless you did something on your own. Only con, which didnt bother us much, was the amount of ppl on the tour, there were 2 tour busses (even though they split the groups to make them smaller). So if you like to move quickly, you may want to opt to do your own thing, but by Day 2-3 we had our own little Affordable World Family and we looked out for eachother and did excursions together which made it more fun. We met cool ppl and made some friends. Overall, A+ experience. Will book again and I suggest you do the same!

This year, I went to Thailand, the trip gives me the right balance of independency and guidance. The guide in Thailand was awesome person, great guy. Fantastic experience: Literally affordable, 100% recommended, very good hotels in excellent areas. All tours are worth it. But what made that trip an excellent experience were our tour guides, Noom and Sharky. Every day they went above and beyond to give us great service and help, advice, very attentive to everyone and to the children too. They deserve the recommended tip and more, they really made us feel like we had two local friends, we want to return again and I hope they will be our tour guides again.

Fantastic experience: Affordable world was well worth the risk when planning our trip to Bali. We hadn't heard of them before and found them on Groupon. We took a chance, and thank goodness we did! Everything was made simple, and easy. We had a wonderful guide provided to us. Bagus really made all the difference in our trip by introducing us to other affordable world travelers who we ultimately spent our entire trip with! Bagus picked us up promptly and with a welcoming spirit from the airport and was wonderful in sharing the history of Bali and it's people. If nothing else I am thankful that affordable world introduced us to such a wonderful guide and fellow travelers. If you are thinking about using affordable world, I'd say go for it! Seriously, worth every penny. 10/10!

Fantastic experience: This was our first time traveling with a guided group tour and we highly recommend the Thailand tour of Bangkok, Krabi and Phuket! First of all, our guides, Alice and Yui were the best! From the moment we stepped out of the airport until we returned, they made us feel at ease. They were so knowledgeable and kind, going the extra mile to make sure all of us had great experience and felt like family. They even led us to Chinatown in Bangkok one evening on their own time which we probably wouldn't have done on our own. Affordable World includes some excursions but we decided to do all the extra excursions and glad we did. Although exhausting, we experienced such awesome variety of cultural experiences! Finally, the hotels in each location were beautiful and included a nice breakfast buffet each day. With many meals included in our excursions, we had few meals to purchase. Can't wait to check out other tours with Affordable World.

Fantastic experience: The trip was smooth and went exactly as Affordable World promised. Thailand is a beautiful, fascinating country, and our two tour guides - Yui and Alice - were awesome. They were knowledgeable, service-oriented, humorous and passionate about their country. They took care of our every need. The drivers were great, too, standing by the coach bus as we boarded with individual ice-cold wet wipes to cool off from the humid heat after touring. I would highly recommend Affordable World!

Fantastic experience: I got back last week from my trip to Athens/Santorini. What an amazing trip! I would 100% use Affordable World again for my next overseas trip. The accommodations were amazing in both Athens and Santorini. El Greco Hotel In Santorini is breathtakingly beautiful and walking distance to everything. Every interaction that I had with a representative from Affordable World was great. The representatives were always courteous and professional. They answered all of my questions and returned my calls when they said they would. The tour guides and drivers in Greece were all very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. We felt completely safe and welcomed everywhere we went. Greece is definitely on my repeat list!

Fantastic experience: Our trip to Thailand was wonderful! The tour was amazing and included so many beautiful sites in each city. The hotels we stayed in were fabulous and we espcially enjoyed the buffet breakfasts in the morning. Fantastic experience: Just got back from our Thailand trip with Affordable World. Before discussing our trip...I have to mention the pay by month option makes these trips infinitely easier to swallow. This was our third trip with Affordable World and I was happy with almost everything. Our tour guides were funny, knowledgeable, straight with us on everything we'd see, experience, and what we should expect. I loved Kitty! Say hi to her. :) We visited Bangkok, Krabi, and Phuket. Accommodations at Bangkok and Krabi were excellent. Phuket location was a bit far from where we wanted to be but if you were traveling just to enjoy the beach the location was perfect. Thailand is by far one of my favorite locations because of its natural beauty, kind hearted people, and how far my dollar goes. I will be back and with these prices, definitely through Affordable World.

Negative experience: This was my second trip with Affordable World, the first being Thailand (which was incredible). Greece with Affordable World was horrible. Even though there were only 9 people in our group, we were herded along with all the other tour groups and it always felt chaotic. It was a different tour guide every day which made it even further impersonal and lacked quality. They never knew what was going on. One tour guide didn’t even pick us up for a transfer from the ferry to the hotel which was supposed to include a walking tour. We all just sat at the port for an hour, trying to call their emergency line (which nobody answered). Knowing what I know now, I never would have booked with Affordable World. They added no value whatsoever to my trip.

Fantastic experience: We booked a 10-day all inclusive trip to Thailand through Affordable World. Starting with the booking process, it was so easy to navigate the website and to book the trip. The price listed was accurate as well, no hidden fees or surprises at checkout. It was so easy to add on tours and tailor the trip to our preferences. After booking, Affordable World emailed all necessary information in a timely manner with reminders, things to know before you go, and updates up until it was time to leave. They provided everything from hotel bookings (beautiful 4+ star hotels), flights (with information on adding preferences due to me being pregnant and having dietary restrictions), multiple provided meals throughout the trip (all delicious and on the fancier side), transportation to/from airport and tours, and provided 2 bilingual/English speaking guides. We didn’t have to worry, stress, or go out of our way to plan anything. (Besides specific things we wanted to see while in Thailand). Affordable World Customer Service was 5 stars as well. We booked the trip for our babymoon, so I had a few questions regarding being pregnant on some tours. Customer Service replied via email within a day with reassuring answers. After arriving in Thailand, we were greeted by one of the friendliest guides, Kitty. She had a sign at arrivals stating “Affordable World”. It was easy to find her and identify that she was our ride from the airport to the hotel. The hotels (in both Bangkok and Phuket) provided an inclusive all you can eat breakfast buffet with a wide variety of food. The next day we met up with the 2nd guide, Sharkie. Kitty and Sharkie were so friendly, very informative and loved explaining Thai culture, very funny, and willing to go out of their way to make sure your trip was perfect. They handled everything, including booking transportation to events outside of the provided tours or to areas of town we wanted to explore, handling laundry services, checking in at the airports, flying with us to Phuket (and/or Krabi), booking tickets to a show we wanted to see, etc. (Highly recommend the Simon Cabaret Show). The tours on the itinerary were not mandatory either. Some people attended only a few and then went on their own adventures during the rest of the time. We skipped a few to explore on our own as well, but the tours are definitely worth going on. So much to see, such beautiful experiences, and you learn so much about Thai culture. We could not have asked for a better trip. Thanks to Affordable World, Sharkie, and Kitty-the trip was so smooth, relaxing, and truly the best trip we've ever been on. We fell in love with Thailand and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend booking your trips through Affordable World. Positive experience: We booked the Bangkok to Phukat Thailand trip. This was out 1st time using a agency/group tour trip, I normally do all the planning for vacations. We were not disappointed at all. Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The tours and optional tours were great. It allowed us to see many of the main most sought after attractions along with free time to venture out on our own. I would definitely use Affordable World for other trips in the future.

Fantastic experience: One of the best trips of my life. My husband and I booked a tour with Affordable World to Japan. Our tour guide Jojo was wonderful. We enjoyed learning about the history of Japan, we enjoyed the multiple tours through Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Jojo made us feel so comfortable even when I was very homesick. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed every moment. We look forward to going back next year.

Fantastic experience: My Affordable World trip to Greece was awesome!!! I would recommend them to everyone, and I would take another trip with them. The accommodations, especially in Santorini, were five star!!! Our tour guide in Athens, Paris, was outstanding. His passion and knowledge of history pulled us in. Affordable World was organized and guided us every step of the way through transfers to ferries from one island to the next. Most of all they are affordable! Positive experience: Overall a good experience, good walking tour guides, good hotel choices and thankful for the all the transportation being worked out for us. However, it wasn’t as organized as expected. Two improvements that would make a rating difference are booking assigned seats next to the people in your group for the airlines as well as for the Santorini catamaran mentioning in the synopsis that the boat only moors, so in order to visit the sites, you have to be a proficient swimmer. Otherwise you are stuck on the slightly crowded boat the whole time. With all that said, I would still recommend affordable world, especially for budget travelers. Thank you for everything!

Fantastic experience: We went through the online reservation process several times without proceeding to payment to clarify options costs and total. The trip was amazing! All hotels were very nice. All three tour guides that met us to transport to our hotels were wonderful and helped us get acclimated to the location and shared history and great tips. The Athens tour was for the most part a bus ride past points of interest with the exception of the museum and Acropolis. The tour guide gave an excellent tour of both locations! The islands of Mykonos and Santorini provided stunning views from both hotels. Cruise ships in port on both islands made walking to the shops crowded but everyone was happy. We found the Greek people to be very welcoming. Most could speak English well enough that there was never a language problem.

Fantastic experience: Affordable World took the headache out of booking travel. Flights, accommodations, and ferry transfers were done for us. All three hotels we stayed in were fantastic. Tour guides met us at each island to acclimate us to the island. Then we were free to explore on our own, so much better than being part of a large tour group. 5 stars to Affordable World!

Fantastic experience: We booked Affortable world through Groupon for our Greece Trip. Before booking we reviewed reviews and social media pages. We did the 8-day tour of Greece coming out of Dulles International. We visited Athens & Santorini. We had no wait time at any of the pick ups (airport, ferry, hotels or tours). The representative always had a sign that said Affortable World. We did the upgrade to business in the ferry. The Ferry is very nice! It’s not what you think of (old tacky) and the ferry was faster than expected when we arrived at the port someone was already waiting for us to take us to the hotel in Santorini. We only did booked reservations for dinners, and car and hotel staying while coming back because we had a 15 he layover. I will use Affortable world again. Fantastic experience: Deciding to book our vacation to Greece through Affordable World was one of the best decisions we'd made. Booking our vacation was easy. All of our questions were always answered fully and in a timely manner. This vacation did not disappoint! Immediately off the plane, we were met by a friendly face who was expecting us, our personal Travel Coordinator. Our itinerary was explained and a copy provided to us with a host of necessary contact information - just in case. By the way, we never needed to use them. The tours we partook in were well guided, at just the right pace. We were given time to ask questions, take pictures and just be in awe of the beauty of our surroundings. The tour guides provided suggestions how to move around the public transit system, easiest places to walk for more sites and places to find a good meal. All internal travel was flawless. Our transports were always on time and our travel coordinator was the constant at each transport. Our package was the perfect combination of independent tour we could have imagined. We were able to have enough downtime that we could roam unencumbered - AND WE DID! I highly suggest renting an ATV when on Santorini and exploring this lovely island on your own. Don't forget to stop at Grigoris Bakery, Santorini, Fira! Take the trip! Eat the desserts!

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing trip. I recommend this company and their tours. Every tour guide was excellent! The transfers were quick and easy and there was a contact in every city whom contacted us and made sure that we were taken care of during our vacation.

Positive experience: Part 1 of 2 My wife and I are avid travelers but have never been on a organized or group trip. We do all of our own planners. We were initially skeptical due to mixed reviews, but are glad we went! We had an amazing time in Thailand. We chose the Bangkok-Krabi-Phuket tour. Our guide, Tone, was amazing!!! He made sure to incorporate things that WE wanted to do and made great recommendations, whenever we asked. I can't blame Affordable World but myself for not reading the itinerary in depth. We chose to only purchase on excursion in each location. We wanted to have tons of free time to relax and explore on our own. However, there was so much included in the regular itinerary. There were a couple of days where I opted out and stayed back at the hotel, to sleep in. With the included activities plus excursions, some days were as long as 8am- 11pm, and they were exhausting! Bangkok- We loved the hotel- Centara. Check in was great. Breakfast was good. The room was clean. It was very accessible to everything. The rooftop bar views were unmatched. Krabi- LOVED the resort here. The breakfast was also good. Loved the vicinity to the restaurants and the beach. Very touristy and walkable. Phuket- Our least favorite stop. Reminded me of the Las Vegas strip. There are people everywhere!  The hotel was a HUGE downgrade after coming from the other two and was very outdated. Each of the three hotels had a glass window between the bathroom and bedroom (where a shared wall would be), so you can see straight into the shower. There is a blind that you can let up and down. In Phuket, this FELL on me (out of the wall!! you could tell that it had be re-hung several times) while I was showering. I informed the hotel staff and they said they'd fix it. ZERO APOLOGIES. Returned back to my room and they completely removed it but never fixed it. Luckily, we were a married couple and were comfortable seeing each other shower, since it was never replaced during our stay. Our sheets were filthy. Asked for them to be changed and they were only reversed on the bed, and the stain moved from the head of the bed to the foot. They smelled so bad, that we had to both squeeze into one twin bed. Our guide did not stay at either of the other hotels, but stayed nearby. Here at Novotel Phuket, he did. This made me feel that it was so cheap/low quality that the company didn't mind paying for his stay.

Fantastic experience: Our Bali/Singapore trip was amazing. Affordable World provided excellent service, accommodations, and touring options. There was plenty of free time to explore on your own after receiving a great tour from the guide in each country we visited. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Fantastic experience: My best friend and I took the Thailand Bangkok, Phuket, and Krabi tour with the James Bond Island add on excursion. Not only was this everything advertised, it was such an enriching and life changing experience what we went in expecting. We were grateful to our tour guide Patty for going along with us every step of the way and so giving us so much appreciation for the culture, the food, the art, and the fun, as well as providing an incredible depth of knowledge and answering all of our questions. We plan on using Affordable World again, because we saw some breathtaking views, met amazing people, and have such a connection to the country of Thailand now. And thank you to Patty for making our experience so perfect, sharing your culture with us, and taking us along for one of the best adventures we've ever been on!

Negative experience: Bait & Switch. Booked tour on Groupon. Went to redeem voucher, and no flights were available. Called Affordable World Tours (hard to reach), and they confirmed that there were no flights for the date purchased; and no other dates were available at the purchase price (but they were happy to upsell us to other dates costing 40-70% more).

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had an incredible trip to Thailand. We did the Bangkok, Krabi, Phuket tour and had a blast! This is our second time using affordable world and we can’t recommend this company enough. We highly recommend Patty and Sharky who were our tour guides in Thailand. They were just fun and friendly and knowledgeable (especially Patty, we love her!). We also met some really awesome people in our tour group. By day 4 we were all basically family. I’ve traveled all over the world and this was my second trip to Thailand, but probably my favorite travel experience yet. I hope this company creates more tours on more continents. They really are a great tour company.

Fantastic experience: Our trip could not have gone any better. Affordable World organized everything including hotels, transportation, and tours. Arriving at each destination we were greeted by friendly faces to pick us up and made sure we arrived to our destination safely. They were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They gave us enough time to explore the city, but also time to relax. The hotels were clean along with complimentary breakfast every morning and amazing views. Our tours were insightful and gave us the chance to really learn about the Greek culture. We were very pleased with our trip and hope to go on another one through Affordable World in hopefully Italy.

The hotel in Ubud, Sthala, was magnificent. Although a little bit outside of the city center, it offered peace and tranquility in a gorgeous setting. The staff was just so welcoming and friendly. catering to your every need. The buffet breakfast they served was massive, with a wide variety of cuisines for every palate. The restaurant there was overall great, with perfect ambiance. The hotel pools were to die for. The free shuttle service to Ubud city center was also very convenient. Our guide in Bali, "Dana," is a national treasure. He ensured we were taken care of, aware of future plans, and would send us reminders. He would give us great local tips, tell us about the history, and take care of all the tickets and so forth. We had none of the hassle and all of the fun. Our driver, Kitut (sp?) was also a pro, weaving through Balinese traffic like it was second nature. He always got us to our destinations safely. The hotel at Kuta, Tribe, was also a great experience, but mirrored the city itself a bit - hot, chaotic, and wild. The breakfast buffet there was equally amazing with options for everyone. The hotel only had one pool, which was connected to dining, which was a little weird at times and much more crowded than our Ubud experience. In Singapore our hotel was the most "corporate" with none of the uniqueness or hospitality of our Bali ones, but that makes sense because SG is a totally different locale. They had the best breakfast buffet of all though!!! Our tour guide in SG was Bob, an older gentleman with a vast knowledge of the city-state. My only gripe with him was that he took us to a souvenir shop for 30 minutes! Overall my wife and I had an amazing trip and felt as though the planning and execution was near-perfect. I definitely recommend Affordable World in the future because they have a great balance of daily excursions (that you pick) intermixed with days of leisure where you can decide what you want to do. They took care of all of the annoying parts of travel for us - booking tours, booking drivers, booking transits, etc, which was a huge relief for us. The next time we book a trip I will definitely be looking them up!!! Justin & Gwen

Fantastic experience: Truly enjoyed our Greece vacation. Guides were amazing and helpful. Transfers were on time and efficient. Hotels and food were also great! Best experience so far.

Fantastic experience: This was a no nonsense vacation. AW had everything set up and our guides were fantastic. We even had a hiccup that the tour support was able to handle. I will definitely choose AW for another excursion.
