Fantastic experience: Nice place, It was my first time there. No waiting, very friendly staff.
Negative experience: On 7/1/2024, I had phoned aaa in which a tow truck was dispatched to my location. No problem, my driver technician, was cordial, had a friendly personality & yes knowledgeable. My car was taken for a drop-off to my service station but I wasn't given a receipt.This was kinda a problem for reimbursement, then I thought not much $ so I'll let it go, until I didn't. I tried texting the driver na, then phoned the business that lead to call later, then 2nd call tried to hookup to office, no disconnected. The 3rd time I was told to text them and it would be sent, well, again no and 2 more tries, The End. So, now here is my written complaint on this companies professionalism. Company's name "Jess Auto & Towing," Foster RI #401 539=9398.[my thought, under the circumstances:] I'd like to see that this company gets penalized from aaa for at least a month, considering they represent aaa out in the field for customer service. Negative experience: This AAA is just as bad as the DMV, except I have to pay for this lousy service. I make a 12:40 appointment only to be greeted by a 30 minute line. By the time I got through the line I was 20 minutes past my appointment time (why did I even make an appointment???) and the woman who ran the DMV services went on lunch break. So now I’m left sitting here until she comes back, wasting even more time. If you need anything DMV related done at AAA, DO NOT go to the Warwick one.

Fantastic experience: I went to AAA to book travel to Taos. The agent took great care of me. My wife needed special care for the trip, and he made sure all of her needs were addressed. He saved me a lot of time and aggravation of doing it myself. Well worth it.

Negative experience: Disappointed in that having an appointment for a DMV transaction doesn't really mean much. Still have to wait in line as they don't differentiate between DMV and standard AAA transactions.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible. Took advantage of my elderly father. Charged him a $90 fee for a service call despite being a AAA member for 20 years. They do not honor their 3 year battery replacement warranty as he just bought the battery less than a year ago. They want proof from a 3rd party mechanic that the battery has failed. Spent over an hour on the phone with several different departments to try to get it resolved. Very poor experience overall.

Negative experience: The service is getting very slow. We have been experiencing and heard its their new system. Not the drivers fault. My girl had to call aaa for a flat on her dad's car who is elderly and disabled still was going to have to wait with him for 2 hours! What is wrong with them. Don't you have any compassion? Negative experience: This service has gotten very bad. We had called for a tow and had to wait 4 hours. It was too late to get to the repair shop and get a rental so we canceled and called back the next morning and was told another 4 hour wait. This is ridiculous. You need to change this!

Fantastic experience: AAA keeps adding more services that they can provide to their members making it easier for us. I needed to get another EZ Pass transponder for a trip we were taking. The hours for the RITBA are 4 hours a day 3 days a week and not compatible with my schedule. Little did I realize that AAA offers the ability for members to get extra transponders. Took about 10 minutes and cost $10.00. How can you go wrong?
Fantastic experience: Went in for a duplicate registration and I don't wait long at all. The lady helping me was very friendly while quickly doing her job. I could not have had a better experience .
Negative experience: I had to appear in person to renew an expired plate. I could not get an appointment at my local office for a month, so I took one here in warwick. I walked into a line of people complaining about wait times. I waited a half hour to get to a clerk, who put my name in que and told me to sit down with several other people waiting because they are short staffed. So you make an appointment, confirm it, and sit until they call you. Just like the dmv, only you pay 90 bucks a year

Then I had to wait again for a DMV rep. What is the purpose of making an appointment if you still have to wait? What normally should have only taken 10-15 minutes to 45.

Positive experience: The new office in the SawTooth Building is co-located with City of Warwick offices like the tax collector. They offer the full suite of DMV Services like Real ID. No need to make the appointment or go to the main office in Cranston
Positive experience: The new location was a little challenging to get to. We picked up a second easy pass transponder. We waited a few minutes to be helped. When we were helped the customer service agent was pleasant, helpful and efficient.

Negative experience: Not good at all I went in there to get a membership for my husband an myself an the girls who was working there were very nice but very confused when taking my payment so long story short they AAA charged my bank card 3 times one for the right charge an two other charges that they apologized for making a mistake they ran 2 charges for 58 dollars an change So they said them charges will fall off the next day,So I checked an thay didn't remeburst me an it's been a week so I called my bank an had to file a claim against AAA so hopefully I receive a very nice Apologie an my money back into my Account. Also it was Christmas time an I could have used that money they had on hold for my kids! Hopefully I get some answers soon an get my Refund!✌

Fantastic experience: I have visited the new Warwick location in Apponaug twice in the last two months - once for DMV service and once for purchasing gift cards. On both occasions, the experience was excellent to say the least. Lisa and Kelsey assisted me with my license renewal in October. They were professional, courteous, and provided service with a smile. I renewed my license in record time - - - less than 20 minutes - - - and was back at my home office working before the end of my lunch break. My second visit to purchase gift cards was equally amazing. Again, Lisa assisted me with this transaction. She remembered me, worked quickly, engaged in casual conversation and my husband I were done before we knew it. It is refreshing to know fantastic customer service still exists; in fact, it’s alive and thriving at AAA Warwick and nurtured by people like Kelsey and Lisa. I will continue to use this AAA branch as my branch of choice and find myself a committed patron now because of service like this. Thank you so much…especially to Lisa!

Fantastic experience: It's inside the new town hall building I stopped in to see what the price was to open an account the lady told me there were new choices on how to pay like monthly or all up front theres a promotion going on right know till end of September that if you open an account it's 46.00 and one free for a person in your household. I always loved AAA the towing service the travel area, I never checked out car insurance but im sure it's good . They have driving school that teaches you to drive I used that many years ago and it was great and if you go through them you get a break on car insurance with any company you go with if you take the on the road student training . The building is brand new in warwick next to Cumberland farms but there are many locations and its convenient to get your license or id at so you dont have the ling waits at the dmv.
Positive experience: New location in Warwick, parking lot is small, a lot of people park on the street, there is one line for customers once you enter the building, even if you have an appointment, once you get to the counter they will help you, or check you in, if you are checked in you sit an wait for your name to be called then go to that window.
Negative experience: Waited 4 hours in Cranston for road service to change a flat .Called at six and truck didn’t show up till 10:10

Negative experience: I was completely out of gas, and due to a broken part couldn’t fill up at a regular station. They refused to deliver fuel even though I know they’ve done that for others. Wanted me to pay to get a tow to the dealership! Bogus customer service! 3 miles free is all you get and I’m over 15 miles from the dealership to get my car fixed. Tell me again why I pay for roadside assistance when they won’t come assist me?

Positive experience: I went in to do my real ID. The appointment process was easy and got right in, the next morning with all my paperwork. They got my license done in between the servers going down in the office, thus killing the internet. Eventually the internet came back on and I was on my way. Unfortunately after telling them I needed the veterans designation on it, but when I got my license it didn't have the designation on it. It was a process getting through the next day to speak to someone and when I did, they were in CT. The caller took good care of me and was able to get the Warwick office to actually call me back and find out what I needed to do, to get this fixed. They took me in the next morning, and the process was quick. Fingers crossed that when my new license comes, its all set. I appreciate their efforts to fix the mistake made by them.

Negative experience: I was on hold for 2 1/2 hours & no one picked up. It was 20 minutes before closing when I decided to hang up. In this day & age I find this totally unacceptable. Even given the fact that it is Christmas time this still is way too long to be on hold. My time is precious to me too. Negative experience: Just wanted to renew my registration. If I wanted to wait in line to be told to take a seat and wait until I'm called in 90 minutes I would have just gone to the DMV. Why can't they just take people as they come in? Are they taking lessons from the DMV Waiting in one line is not enough. 4 people checking people in telling people to sit down and wait and one person at the information desk whose job it seems is to tell people to get in line. SMH! Headed to the DMV in Wakefield. ...pretty sad when the RI DMV does a better job than AAA. So much for the convenience of being a member.

Negative experience: Great Company with TERRIBLE phone service. Every time I call I am put on hold for a least 15+ minutes. You should either hire more people to handle the phones or just improve your current services. These delays are unacceptable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: So it's about 930am at the Warwick AAA and I need to renew my registration which has not expired, however after waiting in a 10 minute line I'm told that well take your information and text you when it's your turn. Your estimated wait at AAA Warwick is 80 mins. That is totally unacceptable, why offer a service and it takes you longer than the actual DMV, absolutely no benefit to go to AAA for any DMV needs. Than the rarity that you have to use a tow service and of course after all the years of never using it I'm sure cost more than the actual one or two times you need a tow and the past two decades. I called and spoke to talk customer relations all they can do is file a complaint on your behalf.
