Fantastic experience: 417 Travel the s the best place to get your Bucket Vacation done, Brandon Smith was going over all the best deals with out pushing for more money. He was open, friendly and even his fellow agent next to him heard of our idea for another cruise and she said here what they have plans for 2026. Go to them, you won’t be sorry

Negative experience: Worst travel agent ever. Not only was communication terrible through the entire process, but they didn’t book the trip on time like they said. So then the promotion through the luxury cruise line expired and they expected US to pay an ADDITIONAL $4k for the trip because they screwed up. Thanks for nothing.

Negative experience: If it could rate this company lower than a one star I would. My family and I are heartbroken by the loss of a trip of a life time due to poor communication and handling of details by this travel agency. We received confirmation that our documents were received by 417 Travel at 9:49 a.m., however the agency failed to make the reservations with the cruise line within the required time limit. The agent said she would work to fix the problem and call us back. Not only did they NOT call us, but failed to provide a means to fix the problem. The fare sale had lapsed, and we were unable to book the cruise without paying an additional $4,000! A family vacations is a time to build memories together, and this company is not one I would recommend for helping with these special plan.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I met with Wendy today to book a vacation to Alaska. Wendy was great! Prior to meeting with her she called us and asked questions so she could give us several suggestions based upon our likes and dislikes. Since we did not want to spend several days on a cruise, she found what we believe is going to be the perfect 10 day Alaskan vacation for us! A couple day cruises along with seeing the sites in and around Anchorage, Valdez, Fairbanks and Denali National Park by motor coach and train. Wendy was very personable, detailed, knowledgeable and a joy to visit with!

Fantastic experience: Wendy Nelson is da bomb !! She got us an amazing vacation planned for our first international trip!! We tried for years to try to do it ourselves then we finally reached out to Wendy and all our anxiety melted away!! She knew *every* *single* thing we needed from a beautiful park and fly hotel, to private transportation, to a resort with an elevator and shuttle for my husband with a heart condition!! The price was unbelievably right with all the extras and luxury!!! We just got back from El Dorado Seaside Suites in Cancun, Mexico Highly, 5 stars, A+, recommend Wendy Nelson!!!!!

Negative experience: Original post from Daniel Wallace that was removed: I called 417 Travel on December 7, 2023 and inquired about help planning a trip with 7 people. They said someone that specializes in travel to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone would reach out in 24-48 hours. By December 14, 2023 no one had called or emailed. I am guessing that 417 Travel did not want our business. Very Disappointed!! We will gladly take our business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I just really cannot put into words how nervous I was to book a vacation for my family of 5. We hadn’t been out of the country for a long time and it was our first time taking our 3 kids on an international trip. My husband is picky but also very tight w money. Brandon was so patient in helping me decide. Even after we changed our minds and itinerary several times. He never made me feel like a pain (even though I know i totally was ). He’s traveled himself to many of the resorts and it was just SO SO SO helpful to book w him. Fantastic experience: Mary Kim was amazing!! If you decide take a vacation, choose her!! Our flight with spirit was cancelled and we had to change dates and she was quick with getting our reservations changed. She was on it from start to finish and even after we got home, she checked to see how our party went. She responds so quickly and was soooo helpful with our reservations! There was 7 of us that went to Cabo and it was amazing!! RIU Santa Fe was so much fun!! The resort itself was a little older but rooms newly remodeled. So many pools and the parties are LIT!!!! RIU Palace is a little nicer and aesthetically very pleasing. If you stay at the Palace you can go to the Santa Fe but not the other way around. We also used Cabo Sailing for our Yacht rental which was amazing and cheap. They had sushi, meats/chesses, quesadillas, and other snacks. All-in-all, we had a blast!! Thanks again Mary Kim for making it so easy and seemless.

We unfortunately had major delays with getting our passports (not her fault), but Mary worked VERY quickly to find us something else. Two days before we were suppose to go on vacation, she was able to change our location within US territory, so we could still have a vacation! We told her our budget, how long we wanted to stay and the area/vibe we wanted and she just sent us an easy list of places with pictures, prices and flights! She kept everything within our budget, including our flights, staying in a hotel for our flights, and the actual vacation. All transportation- to and from, was set up too.The location we chose in Puerto Rico was perfect for us and we had so much fun. Everything was fantastic! Great resort, pools, entertainment, sunsets and food! We loved the excursions that we picked! Snorkeling, beach massages, the adrenaline tour - best zip line and white water rapids we’ve ever done! We also did a private tour of the rainforest - saw a 6 month old sloth, swimming in the waterfall, mud bath, and hot springs. Highly recommend Costa Rica and Brandon!

Negative experience: Literally could have booked the trip myself. Received no recommendations on things to do or see and when I asked, I received my itinerary again with a very rude email attached. When I asked for help with some insurance information for issues we encountered on the trip, I again was on my own. This was supposed to have been a once in a lifetime vacation, and was hoping for help with planning. I literally had to research everything myself. The agent told me they had never personally been there and could not help me on things to do or see. Would definitely recommend just booking the trip yourself if they are your only option. Will not use them again and would recommend shopping around before booking with anyone. Could go on and on but won't. Yes, You did contact me. After your "escalation" we received two checks of $18.47. I was charged for the hotel and car in the package I purchased and was not reimbursed for them for the day we missed. Additionally, for the record, we did not go to Oahu, we went to Kauai.

Fantastic experience: 417 Travel has booked 3 of my last vacations and I just had my best one yet! Travis is always very responsive and provides great selections of resorts to choose from. He coordinated private transportation and provided excursions to review ahead of time. Best of all, the perk of a candle light dinner on the beach was the highlight of our trip! Fantastic experience: We sat down with Travis and he showed us several options for resorts. We wanted a family friendly resort on Spring break for my Daughters Bday. He did a awesome recommendation at the Iberostar Mayan resort. He planned and arranged everything. From the private car at the airport to the excursions we went on. Fantastic experience: Krystyn was amazing!!! We had the very best vacation at an amazing resort. We were wined and dined the entire time. My boyfriend ended up testing positive for COVID while there. She handled everything for us... rebooking a flight, airport transportation, everything at the resort. We didn't have to worry about anything. Would highly recommend her to anyone! Fantastic experience: We worked with Brandon! When trying to figure our honeymoon we had no idea where we could go with our budget and was confused and overwhelmed. We really wanted to go out of the country and he showed us all of the possibilities. He made booking our honeymoon 100% easier. He broke everything down and got us everything we wanted for us. Such as a beachfront room, going out of the country, and seeing the surrounding culture, and of course a honeymoon package,. He also booked our flights for us. We didn't spend a anything with his help with booking either. So we had free help with booking our dream honeymoon. I 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: Amity Dobbs was very friendly, personable, professional and responsive to our questions. We enjoyed our in person meeting with her. She answered all questions we threw at her. The trip we booked for 6 to the Dominican was hassle free. We were able to upgrade and still get our vacation at a very reasonable price. We will definitely use her again.

Negative experience: So where to start, first of all we were misinformed on how the credits were not actual credits but coupons. This did not allow us to really do many of the things advertised for us to do. Then the hotel itself did not upgrade our room to a king bed but instead two full beds pushed together on our honeymoon no less. We did not receive our gift nor our bottle of rum. Then the flights we were booked had us sitting separate seats and on the return flight they booked us ended up having a 6 hour layover when we could have had earlier flights that would have had us back home before midnight. Instead we got to our final airport the next day at 1214 in the morning requiring we drive 3 hours home after being awake all day the day prior. Honestly I have booked my own flights and travel accommodations cheaper than they did and with way more comfort than what they offered.

Fantastic experience: To date I have used 417 Travel on three occasions to arrange and manage my subsequent trips to Europe. I haven’t used another travel agency for comparison and it's highly unlikely that I would since I’m happy with the superior level of service I continue to receive from 417 Travel. Fantastic experience: Brandon Smith met our group before business hours with no hesitation and was very informative and helpful in finding a resort that met all our requirements. I was also impressed with his almost immediate response to a question I texted him. The trip is still in the future, so I can’t speak to that yet, but so far I am very happy with 417!

We called 417 Travel and they had time for us to come in right away. We came in that day and Brandon helped us find our dream honeymoon at prices we didn’t think were possible. Brandon’s expertise and fun personality made it a super enjoyable experience, and all the travel planning anxiety is gone now that we know we are in good hands. He showed all all of the options close to our budget, gave us insider information about each of the resorts based off his own experience, and helped find a resort that was catered to our own preferences. Within a few hours of calling 417Travel we had a dream honeymoon picked out, booked and paid for. I couldn’t recommend 417 Travel enough.

Fantastic experience: We have never used a travel agency for a family vacation before, and I didn't know what to expect. After our wonderful experience with 417 Travel - specifically with Krystyn Badley - we will DEFINITELY be using (and recommending!) this agent and agency in the future. From the first conversation Krystyn and I had back in January to book our family vacation, I felt immediately relieved that we had a travel agent who could find us the best deal (way better than what I was able to find on my own), could offer us quality travel insurance, and who could find out the answers to my many questions, especially in regard to traveling during 2021. There are too many positives to mention about Krystyn, so I'll only highlight a few. First and foremost, she worked with our group of 8 (two families of 4) to get us a deal to a tropical location that was within budget and hit all of our "wants" in an all-inclusive. She went above and beyond to answer our questions, reassure us about the investment of travel insurance, and keep in touch with us about any changes, especially in regard to safety during the pandemic. Because of Covid and a few unexpected resort re-opening challenges, we recently found out through customer reviews and some digging that Krystyn did on our behalf that our originally-planned resort would not be what we had hoped. Krystyn patiently and quickly worked with us to create new options. Because of Krystyn (and the fantastic-ness that is Travel Insurance), we were able to switch our travel plans to an alternative resort/place at our same travel dates. We haven't yet taken our vacation, but we feel confident it will be a wonderful experience. Krystyn also gave us a way to contact her during our vacation in case we run into any problems. This kind of customer-service cannot be beat. When you have limited time to travel and spend so much money on that travel, you definitely want it to be a good experience. Going through a travel agency for this vacation has already proven to be our best decision. This review is not about our vacation specifically because we have not yet travelled, but I wanted to give a huge shout-out to Krystyn for working so hard for our family to plan this vacation.
