Positive experience: The youth center is now based out of the Solomon Center. Staff at the youth center are super dedicated and very helpful when you need questions answered. Facility seems clean and well managed.

Negative experience: Disappointed to see that they were closed and had no posted hours.I was there on my first visit in forty years after having basic and Air there.

Fantastic experience: Got to see our soldier graduate from Basic Training! Other than the bleachers being a bit uncomfortable, the entire center was beautiful in its own right.

Fantastic experience: My kid graduated from fort Jackson. Graduation TIPS. Get there early, early. Like for an airport trip early, maybe. Seated was limited and late arrivals had to stand. Use the bathroom early, they ran out of paper towel. Plan to take a hot min leaving the grounds. Traffic was so backed up it was wild. If you can carpool with family, do so.

Fantastic experience: Graduation held here due to rain. Cramped, but it worked.

Positive experience: Older building, great place to stay out of the heat. It is on post, so if you don't have business at Fort Jackson, you most likely won't be coming here.

Fantastic experience: Place was used for covid vacs. It was well organized and the structure allowed most people to sit down on chairs all the way around to the main service area while safely distancing.

Positive experience: Disappointed that they don't give discounts to partially disabled veteran you have to be 100% percent disabled to get discounts on tickets, I thought all veterans were equal

Negative experience: Poorly organized horrible traffic management. People travelled many miles only to miss their loved ones graduation...unacceptable

Negative experience: Poor planning made the graduation event a very bad experience. I would have figured our United States Army would have been able to adapt and overcome when people invited 12+ family members to thier kids graduation of course those family's could have had some consideration for those of us who only had immediate family to go to the graduation. Several hundred families including mine did not get to watch the superficial ceremony.

Fantastic experience: The staff was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. The CAC was clean and all the equipment was in great condition. I really appreciated the extra attention Oliver showed me when I had questions about the best machines to match my workout level and needs. Planning on making this experience a daily one in the future.

Positive experience: Good place to go to find a quiet air conditioned spot to sit with your soldier on family day. Not crowded, drinks, snacks, restrooms and board games. Next to mini golf and water park.

Fantastic experience: Great fitness facility on Ft. Jackson for soldiers, their families and the staff if Ft. Jackson.

Negative experience: This huge place could be used for better things if you ask me.
