Positive experience: It was a pleasure to work with Jasmine. We took advantage of the discounted scuba diving trip and she made the process a smooth one considering the short time we had for organizing it. She kept in touch with us and answered all our questions. Beautiful Tufi Resort in Papua New Guinea. The meals were delicious. Staff are willing to please. Lot's of mosquitos in December so couldn't enjoy lounging by the pool or scenic sitting areas. The butterfly farm excursion only had one butterfly, with a broken wing, in a netted cage. The grounds there were nice, though, and the views were beautiful. Highly recommend the cultural tour. Being a scuba diver, breakfast wasn't ready at 6:30 am as stated. Needed to ask for things that didn't seem second nature to the young women who were staffing, ie: milk for coffee, salt and pepper, etc. Food items slowly trickled down to the breakfast area. I eagerly awaited for the freshly baked cinnamon bread to be served. For dinner, I was excited to eat lobster 3 times that week. Yum! Diving was beautiful. I felt like I was in an aquarium. The dive masters and crew were great.

Fantastic experience: Everything was excellent except the jacuzzi didn't work. This was a huge disappointment as I specifically booked the vessel because as a bonus it had a jacuzzi. Obviously this is a first world problem but still, it shouldn't be advertised if it isn't available.

Fantastic experience: I had an extended time off work that I wanted to spend exploring and diving in Indonesia. The problem is beyond a few key areas I really had no idea about where to go. I reached out to Bluewater Travel and was connected with Anne. Anne helped me put together a 6 week itinerary covering Alor, Bali, North Sulawesi and Raja Ampat. She covered everything from resorts, to local hotel stays and airport transfers and flights. Every resort she recommended that I ended up staying at was amazing. Fantastic experience: Bluewater Travel and Laura Taylor I have used Laura Taylor and Bluewater Travel as my booking agent for three diving adventures so far. Her and Bluewater’s service has always been excellent, and I will continue to use them. On my 1st trip, the dive boat had a breakdown, and Bluewater became involved to ensure that I received a fair financial settlement as well as satisfactory alternative diving arrangements. When Laura was unavailable due to time zone issues, her backups worked just as hard. On my 2nd trip, I became very ill before departure and Laura help me get the needed expenses documentation from the dive boat in order to file a successful travel insurance claim. My 3rd trip went perfectly. Laura helped me secure the cabin I preferred, passed along a special request and made sure I had all the required travel and boat information. Bluewater sent a special itinerary email that included all boat and travel arrangements. This was a great “at a glance” summary of what was happening next. Also, Bluewater Travel has a large selection of trips at the best prices, the website is easy to navigate and phone support is readily available. Bluewater Travel provides all you need and more than you would expect from an adventure travel agent.

Fantastic experience: Using Bluewater Travel is a no-brainer for our dive trips. I've used them multiple times - their agents are always incredibly knowledgeable, quick with communication responses and great with logistics making for a smooth travel experience. When we had to cancel a trip due to a medical issue, they were able to use their connections to reschedule our trip without penalty which gave great peace of mind. Fantastic experience: Wonderful diving experience in Socorro on the Valentina with trip leader Tim Yeo from Blue Water Travel. This is my 3rd trip with Blue Water and all have been top notch. Saw everything we were hoping to see at Socorro (hammerheads, oceanic mantas, dolphins, sharks of various kind including whale sharks). Highly recommended this operation.

Fantastic experience: I had only been to the tourist areas but had a very positive experience while there. The boat was fairly new, had good food, especially the Filipino food. Our dive guide had a good eye in finding critters. My room on 2nd level had a great view. From my bed I could see a Manta Ray doing back flips, feeding on plankton. No saltwater crocodiles to worry about. The land base resorts were about 15 minutes from most of dive sites, so there was some crowding at popular sites. Our main dive boat had only a short distance to go to its main anchorage site. There is no long sea voyages by main boat in Palau. Transportation to dive sites is through smaller transport boats and are similar to ones used by all the land based dive operations. Bluewater Travel was very helpful and was on top of things, especially when my flight was cancelled by a hurricane over Taiwan.

Fantastic experience: We love this travel agency. We went on a trip they organized which was a guided photo workshop liveaboard diving trip. We had a fantastic time! The group leader was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and attentive. Bluewater prepared us for everything before our trip and followed up with us after our trip for feedback. I have been a licensed scuba diver for close to 40 years and my mini "dive adventure" to Anthony's Key exceeded my already high expectations. Every aspect of the Resort, from the airport service, to the reception/orientation, amazing accommodations right on the ocean, fantastic food & service, the well-appointed hill top bar/lounge and most of all, the friendly and helpful staff, who made it a point to know your name. The diving was top-notch, with a well-stocked dive shop (I rented my BCD, fins and regulator, as opposed to flying with it as luggage), small group oriented (8 of us for the whole week) with the same, highly experienced Divemaster (Calderon) and boat Captain, Dean. The reefs are healthy, with an abundance of marine life seen on every dive. Fantastic experience: My sister Marcela and I just came back from a trip aboard Calispo Galapagos booked through Bluewater travel. This was our 6th time in Galapagos and our fourth time booking with BW (all previous 3 times to Revillegigedo). We loved everything about this trip. The boat is in excellent condition, and beautiful, the cabins are very comfortable and clean, the food is delicious (thank you chef William for attending my special requests), and all crew members attentive and nice and funny and very professional – this also applies to the dive guides. Fantastic experience: Simon arranged my dive trip to Buceo in Anilao a little earlier in the year for me. His arrangements were exemplary. Choice of resort, quality of diving and spots, guides, bankas, staff, food and even the taxi pick up from Manila were all faultless. Fantastic experience: Just returned from Swimming with humpbacks in Moorea. What an amazing trip led by a spectacular professional underwater photographer Mark Strickland. Many, many underwater encounters with humpbacks. On the last day one of the participants was so touched by a close up encounter with a calf she was brought to tears. Can’t recommend this trip enough. Additionally, Moorea is a beautiful island to visit.

Fantastic experience: I had a 1 week “ Best of Maldives” itinerary scheduled last week on board the MV Adora. A week prior to my departure the live aboard cancelled the trip . Bluewater travel came to the rescue & booked me on board the Maldives Aggressor 2. It was Jamie from Bluewater travel that helped with the booking. On the Maldives aggressor Mr Shaker was our dive guide & a top notch UW photographer & if I had known earlier I would have brought my big camera rig with me . The itinerary was balanced with Kandoo dives, giris & thilas. The Manta dives @ Feshdoo lagoon w & the shark tank dive were the highlights . The crew were v helpful, the food was outstanding & the trip exceeded my expectations. The other divers on board including my buddy make for a fun experience.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service from Jaimee from Bluewater Travel. I was able to book a last-minute trip to go wreck diving in Egypt. It was a great experience. I stayed on the Blue Melody boat with professional and friendly staff. Food was incredibly good. My room was a bit warm on the boat as AC was not properly working. But the temperature became more comfortable by leaving room door open during the day. Obtaining Nitrox certification was a bit more expensive than expected so staff could improve communication on that aspect. All in all, I would certainly book again.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I went for a short 4 night/3 day trip to the Maldives with a very specific goal in mind - to snorkel with manta rays in Hanifaru Bay and if we are very lucky, with whale sharks also. I contacted Bluewater Travel and Jasmine responded. Jasmine was very helpful and very prompt in all her responses from Day 1. We had a lot of constraints and a very small window to do this trip. In spite of the fact that this was a very short trip for just 2 people, Jasmine spent so much time and effort on this trying to get me the experience I wanted. She very strongly recommended Fehi Velaa Homestay on Dhonafanu island with one of the closest accesses to Hanifaru Bay. We decided to go with her recommendation and this turned out to be the best decision. The dive shop on Dhonafanu island is excellent with a team of highly competent guides who kept us safe and gave us the best experience of our lives. In 3 days we snorkeled thrice with manta rays, at one time with 40 or more mantas together in the bay and twice with whale sharks! The accommodation at Fehi Velaa Homestay was modest but clean and spacious and the food was mediocre. But all the staff were very courteous and helpful, even accommodating some small special requests. Given that lodging and food was not our primary focus on this trip but our experience with the mantas and whale shark was, we have absolutely no complaints whatsoever and this was easily the most mind blowing 3-day trip of our lives! We cannot thank Jasmine enough for giving us this experience and hope to book more cool snorkeling experiences with her in the years to come. We highly recommend Bluewater Travel and be sure to ask for Jasmin

Fantastic experience: Cannot thank Simon enough for sorting out my trip. My schedule changed at the 11th hour; Simon quickly make arrangements for an alternate boat, which was a very nice option and avoided my losing my entire deposit. Bluewater was brilliant with providing links to sort Visa and Customs requirements in advance of arrival, so I had an easy airport arrival experience.

Fantastic experience: Bluewater travel has good reviews across a few websites so I tried them out for a liveaboard trip. I had a pleasant experience with the travel consultant, Jessie Hug. Jessie even clarified a payment mix up with a taxi service when I couldn’t get ahold of them even though Bluewater was not affiliated with them. If you want a good opinion along with above average suggestions and local recommendations that walk you through the process, especially as a newbie for a liveaboard, I recommend them. Jessie even had a preplanned vacation. When I reached out for assistance while Jessie was out, Bluewater and Jessie made it seamless with the assistance in ensuring I still had my questions answered seamlessly and without any lag.

Fantastic experience: The crew for this trip was amazing. Specifically, Sari my dive master, was incredible. I was the least experienced diver in the group. On each dive Sari found amazing stuff, helped me with questions like tips for improving air consumption and was fun to go with. I tended to run through air faster than my dive buddy and Sari was thoughtful about helping my buddy join another group for certain dives or planning a dive route that allowed longer bottom time while always ensuring a safe ascent for us. My buddy was doing an AOW cert (I'd already done it) and though there were skills we reviewed, sari was communicative and made it easy for me to really enjoy the dives even if parts were cert focused. It was also a good bit of review. She was thoughtful about what we wanted to see and helped us find great stuff as well. Luca the cruise director was also amazing. He fostered a social and positive environment , also gave great tips for dives and was the right blend of fun and safety oriented. Even on sites I'd heard were crowded, Luca figured out how to get us in the water when there were no or much less crowds. He was really kind and patient and I could tell he does a great job of fostering a good environment for the crew and customers. The diving itself was spectacular good visibility, nice comfortable water temps, great sightings of whale sharks, schooling rays, tons of turtles/reef sharks, and great macros. They did a great job with briefings where they'd intro " if you are into macro/photo/big stuff etc." this site has X or y. I also feel they did a good job with customizing experiences at the dive instructor level both in route and "findings" which I noticed when speaking to different groups after dives The crew did so much to help us get ready even putting on our fins and helping zip wet suits, which made less fun parts of diving like settingup and wrapping up dives as easy and quick as possible. The boat was comfy. Maybe the only downside was the bathroom which was small and shower didn't stay warm long. Also the boat does get a bit rocky if you are prone to motion sickness, I recommend bringing less drowsy Dramamine. But I was very comfortable overall and slept like a baby every night (sometimes mid day after 2nd or 3rd dive The food was solid, it exceeded my expectations meal wise compared to the other liveaboard I did. The steward crew were really helpful with everything and brought out great hot chocolate at the end of every evening dive Overall it was the trip of a lifetime, I'm checking to see if I can join their Raja Amput trip and now have a higher standard/expectation for general diving experience and liveaboard experience.

Fantastic experience: Jessie Hug provided me with fantastic advice and planning for our recent family trip to Indonesia. We had an absolutely epic dive experience on the Amalia, a boat we chartered in the Komodo islands, where we enjoyed some of the best scuba diving I have ever done. Everything was top notch and professional and the marine life was simply stunning. The topside scene, cruising the Komodo islands and relaxing, was the perfect way to enjoy time when not diving. Jessie also did a great job advising on travel within Indonesia, and spotted a flight I had booked that had been canceled, for which her team found an alternative. Finally, she arranged for a houseboat tour of a national park in Borneo, where we were fortunate to see orangutans and many other animals. Throughout, she was responsive, friendly and professional. Great experience all around!

Fantastic experience: I did a live aboard for the Komodo Islands in Indonesia and I had an absolute blast! The boat, location, booking and communication ease, and dive guide knowledge was exactly what I was looking for. Katie was very helpful with booking and responsive. I recommend diving with them and I plan to use them again for future trips!

Fantastic experience: Tim and Bluewater did an AMZING job at planning and implementing a trip that's not only exceptional but unique - from the type of dives, transportation to and from the various locations, to the types of stays. Fakarava is one of those places that non-divers really know nothing about and is even relatively unknown to a majority of divers, but the trip had a perfect transition from the real world to "seclusion". The first few days were spent in a beautiful resort in the North beach with the usual amenities and the last several days spent in tge South on an incredible remote bit of land in a kind of digital and social detox. Both places had fabulous dive masters and staff -- the food felt like home to me. All of this was almost completely outshined by the unbelievable experience of diving with the unreal amount/variety of marine life. It was definitely a dive trip, but there was enough time to explore the land and culture solo or with new found dive buddies. We were able to bike to shops, debrief about what each team saw diving, have fun with the guides/ DMs, and learn photography/diving techniques from each other between dives. The group on my trip was so awesome, we even had a "treasure chest" of snacks -- a medium sized suitcase filled with everyone's salty/sweet snack contributions for community consumption. Can't recommend Bluewater enough -- each portion (every little bit of it) was thoroughly thought through and handled as if I (someone a little too particular about limited vacation time/funds to spend) had planned it myself.

Fantastic experience: Dear Bluewater Travel. I wanted to thank Anne Rucquoi for another wonderful to trip to Galapagos Islands in June 2024. This trip was amazing. This time I traveled solo, and Anne arranged everything for me including to Galapagos and back to San Francisco. This trip was planned with me visiting and staying at several islands prior to my Diving liveaboard. Every time I landed at an airport there was someone who would meet and greet me and take me to my next destination. This is my 4th trip I have booked with Anne in the last several years. I would not have it any other way. Her knowledge on the airports, lodging, restaurants and activities has been very special with my seeing this awesome planet in style. Fantastic experience: Just came back from Socorro Liveaboard (Nautilus Undersea) booked with Jessie in Bluewater Travel. We were one email too slow so missing the last min sale but Jessie kept us informed when new opportunity came up! She was helpful answering questions, getting specifics (like type of tanks) and gather our travel info to make a nice summary. This is my first time booking with Bluewater Travel and I'm sure more to come later. Nautilus Undersea crew is so nice, diving logistics are smooth, and the food is fantastic. The water is colder (68-72F 2024 late June/early July). We were in drysuits and glad we did. The boat has HP100 steel tanks for extra which is a nice bonus for drysuit weighting! The boat is on the older side and can tell its age. I like the fact there are only 16 divers, so we get to know everyone, and it is not chaotic. We saw lots of mantas and sharks (white tip/silver tip), a few hammers and dolphins and lots of fish. We are lucky that the current is not strong and sea is mostly calm :)

Fantastic experience: Our dive trip to Fakarava with Tim Yeo from Bluewater Travel was truly memorable. Thanks to Tim the trip ran very smoothly. We saw not only a huge variety of sharks (grey, lemon, blackfin, blacktips, tiger…) - but in huge quantities as well: see the video frame. The accommodations were fantastic, with Havaiki Lodge offering comfort and Motu Aito providing a peaceful retreat. A perfect mix of exciting dives and great lodging made this an unforgettable adventure. We highly recommend trips with Tim and Bluewater Travel in general.

Fantastic experience: The team at Bluewater have been providing me with excellent service for years. Our most recent trip to the Philippines was a mix of LiveaBoards and resorts. Bluewater helped with literally everything. They know the best places and people. I finally saw some Hairy Frogfish and pygmy seahorses! The Philippines is a diver's paradise and Bluewater made it an easy breezy 3 week adventure.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding Service I have now planned two complex Indonesia dive trips with Bluewater Travel and have received personalized service to tailor the trips to our specific needs. The time, care, and attention I received planning the trips was top-notch. But where Bluewater really shines is with their assistance during the trip when flight schedules and the best-laid plans go sideways. Across the Pacific Ocean and multiple time zones, Jessie at Bluewater not only knew of flight cancellations prior to me learning of them, but she booked new travel arrangements quickly and saved me the hassle and lost time while in-country. Fantastic experience: Above and beyond service by my travel agent Anne Rucquoi and Bluewater Travel!!! I highly recommend them to anyone considering traveling to Indonesia or elsewhere for diving excursions or other fun in the sun. I spent 4 weeks in May, 2024, traveling in Indonesia, with stays in Bali, Labuan Bajo, and Sorong before, between, and after back-to-back live-aboard diving trips in Komodo (7 nights on the Neptune One) and Raja Ampat (11 nights on the Calico Jack). The resorts Anne booked me at when not on the live-aboards were all immaculate (Kuta Seaview in Bali, Sudamala Resort in Labuan Bajo, and the Aston in Sorong). Anne arranged for all of my international and domestic air flights, transfers to and from airports and hotels, and to the live-aboard vessels, as well as coordinating my live-aboard reservations. She also was extremely helpful answering my questions about visa requirements and etiquette and customs to be aware of in the areas of Indonesia I visited. The entire trip went perfectly, exactly as planned, with no problems or complications. And whenever I had a question, Anne or another Bluewater agent responded within minutes. I'm already planning my next diving adventure and will certainly work with Anne and Bluewater Travel again. They are 5 Stars all the way and I recommend them highly and without question!

Fantastic experience: My first visit to Africa and everything went perfectly. The dives and the shop were great. The game lodge and safari were excellent. The transport between the airport, the bed and breakfast, and game reserve were right on time. Everyone was warm, friendly and kindly.

Fantastic experience: I would reccomend Simon 100%. Simon helped out on all the details on this trip(minus air travel). We did run into a few problems, but Simon helped us resolve the issues a quickly as possible and we had a great stay at the Iberostar Bayahibe hotel (picture of one of the many birds on the hotel grounds attached). and the Dressel dive shop(several members of staff pictured). was excellent in all respects. We took several dive excursions to Soana Island(pictures of Soana Is. and and a favorite resident attached). The overall trip was a great value and is highly recomended.

Fantastic experience: I have never used a dive travel agency to plan my dive trips until I stumbled upon Blue Water Travel. I was skeptical at first, but Jessie our travel advisor quickly put me at ease and did an excellent job working with me to plan our trip to Raja Ampat and post dive stay in Ubud. She was very easy to work with and made it an enjoyable collaborative experience. Her follow-up was excellent and attention to details ensured all the pieces lined up so the trip went smoothly without a hitch. I’ve read how great the diving is in Raja Ampat so I had high expectations. With Jessie’s help the trip far exceeded my expectations.

Fantastic experience: This was my first use of Bluewater Toravel, and my experience was excellent Jasmine there was very responsive, she timely took care of everything, and was a pleasure to work with. Their site is a good source to search for scuba liveaboard trips. My trip to the Maldives did not disappoint, and had lots of variety. The reefs appeared very healthy and interesting, with lots of schools of yellow snapper and other fish, some dives with lots of sharks and rays, we saw manta rays and octopus, and got to snorkel with a whale shark. The Maldives Aggressor II and its crew were great.

Fantastic experience: I just returned from an outstanding dive trip to Tubbataha. We were on the Philippines Siren dive boat. The trip was outstanding in every way and I'd highly recommend it. Fantastic experience: Our trip to Raja Ampat included a week’s stay at Dive Raja Ampat. I was trying to book internal air (complicated by time changes and small airports in cities unknown to me) when I found Laura at Bluewater Travel. She responded immediately and helped us book our stay at Dive Raja Ampat which offered great diving and food was good. We are divers and birders and excited to hike to leks where two species of birds of Paradise were active. The hike was difficult for me but I was rewarded with life birds.
