Fantastic experience: Jenina was an angel! She helped me get an international drivers license for my trip to Germany in two days. You’ll need to print the AAA application and complete it before hand. Then bring the application, your license and a passport picture which they can take on site for a small fee. You can pay with credit card or check. I was in and out within 15minutes. A lovely experience and would recommend this location!

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible. I unregistered my car because it’s broken and I have to get a new one because the damage is not repairable each time the tow truck drivers towed it to the shop with no problems today I call at 10 o’clock in the morning to initiate a roadside request to tow the vehicle back to my house so that I can clean it out 11 o’clock comes around and the tow truck driver is nowhere to be found so I call AAA and ask them where the driver is they tell me I called at 10:45 but in my call log it says I called at 10 AM so I told the lady that she was wrong and she called me a liar and told me I was stupid. She was a complete jerk and all of them are incompetent, and if they weren’t supposed to Tow the car why did they do it four other times with no issue the driver arrives and tells me he cannot do it and I told him that four other drivers did it he told me they’re not supposed to and that’s not company policy. They have a lot to learn about customer service, they are stupid and inconvenient Everybody at AAA sucks. Cancelling my membership Monday. Thanks for nothing.

Fantastic experience: Came for my international license. It was a quick easy, simple process. Just download the application, fill it out and hand it in along with an ID and passport photos. Very simple process and was in and out of there in less than 30 mins. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Also plenty of parking which is a big reason why I came here.

Negative experience: I’m in absolutely disgust with this company. I’ve been yelled at by your employees and Lied to by multiple supervisors. Your company stole from me hundreds of dollars at this point and lied to me about getting compensation for it. When I was ensured by your supervisors that this would be taken care of. I’ve been hung up on by multiple reps and verbally assaulted by Jessica Jackson your employee. Also her Supervisor Alex followed up with me and apologize for her actions after reviewing the call. He stated that he would follow back up with me. I have yet heard back from him I’ve left numerous voicemails at his extensions 3187. I also spoke to Cesar who works in another location who advised me that I would get compensation due to all this. I spoke to Jean another supervisor, who also spoke to me out-of-the-way. I spoke with Supervisor Anna who advised me that I will get compensation with the membership for next year which I decline it’s a slap in the face to me as a member. I am looking for a resolution I shouldn’t have to go hire an attorney to get this resolved when the discrepancy is within your company. I feel completely discriminated against and honestly I want nothing to do with this company after this so NO to the membership wouldn’t be needed I’m all set. I just want my money and what was told to me. I was also informed by Cesar that the vice president of the company is aware of this, so why hasn’t this issue been resolved? Why are you guys holding back my money?

Positive experience: Although they had no Tow available the first evening my car broke down, they came through quick the next morning, and I received full reimbursement from AAA from my private tow the first evening. I am happy with AAA overall and will continue to trust their ability to help out
Fantastic experience: Amazingly quick to get an International driving permit (IDP), parked near by for free (hard to find parking) and had the whole thing done in 10 minutes by completing the application prior to coming in. Paid $20.

Negative experience: Called in to AAA for my disabled vehicle at 1:30. Was told via the app that 3:44 was the arrival time. 3:15 rolls around I get a call that the app is wrong and the tow truck was 70 min away. 4:25 rolls around, another call that there is a delay, and they weren’t sure when service could arrive. Called GEICO, had my truck picked up, and delivered in HALF the time I spent waiting for AAA. Truly embarrassing. Cancelling soon.

Negative experience: Never buy a battery from AAA. I had to buy 2 times within a year. They went bad within 6 months. When asked about the warranty AAA helper tried to break my car so he can report it wasn't the battery... Auto Zone. Capitalism and poor employee & me were the victim. Monopoly at it's best..

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but great things to say about my latest AAA auto experience. In a downtown Boston parking garage, Mark diagnosed my car’s issue and correctly determined a tow is the only solution. He walked me through the exact AAA coordination required for the low clearance tow. After an efficient call with the AAA dispatcher the following morning, Kurt and Josh promptly arrived and flawlessly navigated my large SUV through the crowded parking garage, then down the hectic Boston streets to the flatbed. I truly appreciated the efficiency, care, and professionalism demonstrated by the AAA dispatch and tech personnel. Thank you all!

Negative experience: Wish I could put 0 stars. Left us waiting for almost 3 hours in 20°F when they said their eta was 1 hour. They called us for about 30 seconds to confirm the address then abruptly hung up. After 30 minutes of calling and no answer, someone finally picked up and confirmed the complete WRONG ADDRESS. We sent them the full address over text and somehow they still got it wrong. Ended up having to damn near push it home. Complete POS people they got working there.

Fantastic experience: The staff were very efficient and helpful. My renewal process took about 20 mins including the wait time. The center is a 4 min walk from the orange line T station.

Fantastic experience: The gentleman who showed up his name was Javier. He was so kind, patient and helpful. He assessed the situation and knew what to do. I felt safe. I also felt like I got the help that my car needed. And I hope whenever I have issues with my car. That he is the one to come and support my car. I haven't had customer service like that in a long time. You all really have some great people working for your company. Javier is totally awesome! This is why I not only have AAA for myself but for my family members as well.

Janina and Sarayna are *angels*, and they made the process of obtaining an International Driving Permit super easy and enjoyable. I also had no idea that you can bypass the RMV entirely and get your normal Drivers License renewed here, so we quickly became members with that knowledge. We saw people come in and out in five minutes. Amazing. Thank you, ladies, for all your help. <3
Negative experience: Stranded an hour away from home with a child and dog for over 2 hours without even a notification that the request has been accepted by a driver. Multiple calls to check on the status and the only information is that there is a “delay”. Very unsafe and unprofessional. To pay for a service to not be able to use it is beyond frustrating. UPDATE: after 3 hours and calling for an update, they now tell us that they CAN’T help us because we are too far? We pay extra to be towed over 100 miles and it needs to go 60 miles. They told us to call a private tow company on our own and they would reimburse us… why wouldn’t they say that 3 hours ago!?

Fantastic experience: Always very helpful. Have got two international driving permits here as a non member. Super easy, no issues. Went to DMV to get REAL ID… not allowed to without appointment. Came here they said I needed to be a member it was about 70-80 in the end $20 for the ID. Super easy. Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend. Well worth skipping the RMV

Positive experience: AAA Boston is impossible to get on the phone, but they provide a useful service. They are open Monday through Friday from 9-5, which is not always convenient when trying to get something done quickly, but when you go in person and fill out the information, the foreign currency arrives in a day or two. Unfortunately, we were given incorrect information when we called and it took us several tries to get through to someone (often being on hold for 10+ minutes only to be hung up on).

Fantastic experience: Came here to get my international drivers permit on a Friday after work. Process was painless as there were no surprises or additional roadblocks at the office. Service was quick and the workers were pleasant.

Negative experience: Waited 3 hours with little info as to the ETA of the road side assistance. Each time I contacted the member services number, I was told “someone” would be in contact with us “soon”. I recently paid for the premium membership because I also dealt with a similar issue earlier in the year where I waited 6 hours for road side assistance thinking premium would cut down the time. In reality it did, but prepare for a James Cameron feature length feature film of vague information, dodgy answers, and overall misery (for their premium service).

Negative experience: Not their fault but the state new real ID is poorly communicated. I had my birth certificate, passport, driver's license, SS Card, and my wallet. Because my SS Card has Mike instead of Michael it is not valid for this transaction. So I paid 50 bucks and renwed my license but no real ID for me. I was informed afterwards I could use my W2 form in place of my SS Card. I felt scammed. But RMV doesn't believe in customer service and it has spilled over into AAA process. Now I have to carry my passport to travel in the USA. 10 25 22 I was able to get my real ID. I brought every piece of paper with my name on it. Any government documentation. And a good luck charm. The folks were friendly and responsive. I also renewed by AAA card too. It cost me an extra 25 bucks.

Negative experience: Beware of the AAA credit card from Bank Of America! Experienced aggressive advertisement because we’ve been AAA members for years and have maybe used the membership twice for dead batteries. They gave us a credit card and said their is no interest for 1 year and an extremely low interest rate for purchases and cash advances after the promotional term. This was almost six months ago when interest rates were lower. Now 4 months in I’m getting hit with interest for purchases plus cash advantages. It’s not at a large number but still these companies need to keep their word. Without us they would have nothing. Seems like they forget that. I thought we could trust the word of a reputable company but I guess you always have to check with a supervisor before accepting any verbal offers. Can you believe they charged us .90 cents on one purchase! Like they really need that right? It’s not about the money its principal. No more truth in advertising from AAA/BANK OF AMERICA

Fantastic experience: First time at this location. Staff were pleasant and friendly when you arrive. My wait was less than 2 minutes in line to renew my license. The process overall took less than 20 minutes to complete. Great service would recommend anyone to go to AAA to renew license. The other part of AAA was just as efficient as the front of the store.

Fantastic experience: I had the most helpful/flawless experience here at the Congress Street AAA location today. The girls were so helpful, I was there without an appointment for RMV services, they were able to accommodate me and help me renew my license/registration. I left with a temporary copy of my license a new registration and license plate decal in hand. I was in and out and under 20 minutes. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: I haven't had such an excellent customer service experience in ages. Everyone works here are very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you very much for all you guys help. They are the best team! I would recommend to go there to even renew your drivers license to Real ID, Passport etc. Also International Driver's Permit, you do not need to have a membership and get it done quick right there without an appointment. But make sure to make an appointment online for anything else. One thing, calling local AAA's number never works if you want to talk to someone at the office.... so be aware. Someone wrote bad review but he has no idea who he was talking to to start with. It is not this office's problem it is how the AAA company set up the phone system so it's not them answering the calls. it goest to different brunches or they must have phone service set up to link to that phone customer service only line or some sort. ..I was lucky to go get served at this office and would recommend all my friends to go there to get your stuff done there.

Negative experience: Stuck on the side of the road in the middle of the night and they tell me they have one tow person working Boston. Terrible service and not very safe. Why pay for a service when it’s faster to call a tow company yourself? Second time this has happened in this area. Shameful service. I couldn’t even get a time estimate.
Fantastic experience: Oh, my goodness, this is the best place! Ms. Joanne is a treasure, in particular, but every single person who is in this office is stellar. For one thing, among the co-workers there, you hear a lot of, "Oh, I can do that FOR you," meaning they are all willing to jump in and help team members. There's no "that's-not-my-job-work-ethic." They truly seem to enjoy keeping the line moving and trying to insure no one waits long. They also are willing to go the extra distance. Today, I had a problem that I presented to Ms. Joanne. Initially, we both thought there was no immediate way to solve it, but she made a phone call or two and came up with a solution. Her willing to do a little research into the matter completely changed the trajectory of things for me for the coming months! I cannot recommend this office enough. The vibe is warm and friendly, and they are all oriented to helping customers in the best possible way.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful and efficient. I went in to use the RMV services. I had an appointment but was missing a critical document. They explained to me how I could obtain the document, which I did, and processed me later that day without an appointment.
Negative experience: We had a problem in S. Carolina we called to see if they would change fuse they told us we would have to wait till morning to get towed to a Nissan dealership. Once it is up we will not be renewing. From Massachusetts left us high n dry out of state

Negative experience: One of the worst professional experiences I have ever had at any mechanic. They operated on my vehicle without my authorization, then quoted me a price. I get there, I can’t even enter my car because whoever worked on it.
Negative experience: The customer service rep just hung up because she didn’t know how to deal with a customers question. Unreal awful service. She didn’t care and provided no details. Better off finding your own way home….update…it’s now been 4 hours since we called. Tow truck driver has passed the car 2 times in the past 4 hours….how is this possible AAA? How do you not have more drivers!? It is now dark and no updates…
Negative experience: So, for an RMV service (driver license renewal which already costs $110) you have to pay for AAA annual membership that you may use once every 5 years? Horrible!
Fantastic experience: I went in for a Real ID appointment when my license expired. It was clean, everyone was friendly, and I was in and out before my appointment time was even scheduled to start. It was much more enjoyable than an RMV/DMV appointment. I will definitely continue to use AAA for any future RMV transactions that they cover.

Fantastic experience: I needed information and also to update my triple a roadside assistance and ask for life insurance I received the life insurance faster than I get my bills and the people that were so kind and nice on the phone I would deal with them again if I already didn't have a long time Nationwide insurance company I would switch to AAA on a heartbeat
