Negative experience: We had AAA for 5 years and every year it went up but they wouldn't tell you why and the road service we all had road service my oldest son got stranded and he called for a tow they told him it would be a hour well they hour turned into 5hrs so they never picked him up so had to pay out of pocket for a tow my other son and I it happened the same thing happened we had 2 houses and 5 cars 1 bike we closed those all in less than 1 yr not only that they take money from checking account without letting you know

Negative experience: Several times in the past (3 years and 7 years ago) we have used AAA to come out, test our car battery and replace it. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Fast forward to today. I knew the battery was bad so called AAA. The technician verified the battery was bad but since he didn’t have a replacement with him insisted that I was responsible for replacing it. He gave me the address of the nearest AAA shop. After arriving there, the repair shop wanted to charge me to test the battery again and not honor the warranty on the original battery. He indicated the technician should have replaced it to get the warranty honored.. Uggh. Finally the repair facility gave me a discount on the battery but it would have been nice if the original technician would have located a battery and replaced it. I feel Iike AAA roadside assistance has turned into a joke. Next time the car battery dies I plan on replacing it myself. It would be much easier and faster than calling AAA.
Negative experience: I'm sick of AAA emails 4 times a day. I've asked for it to stop. I still get them. It stops or I cancel my account after 21 years with AAA
Negative experience: Probably the most expensive car insurance in New Mexico. They raised my rates with no notification or explanation. When I called and asked why my rates went up so much, they told me it didn’t. What a bunch of scammers!! It went up 45%. I haven’t had an accident in 35years. My credit score is excellent.i was a loyal customer for years. As well as my family. My family also dropped their insurance I don’t recommend this company at all.

Negative experience: Purchased AAA for peace of mind when traveling and when the time came that I needed them they left me stranded in 104° plus weather with my family. Called for an emergency tow and was told that I could only tow one vehicle when I had the RV plus package . Them later told that only to the nearest town when I had the 200 mile tow guarantee. When my girlfriend tried to call back they put her in a loop of pointess questions in the chat bot.. SCAM do not purchase this scam from them
Negative experience: I was canceled after I had spoken to a lady who took my money from my new card. The agency is having a hard time in fixing the problem. I am not going to get stuck with this con job. I have read some bad reviews. I am already frustrated with the person who talked me into car insurance. Now it has been canceled.

Negative experience: I had been with AAA for 6 years (just for auto insurance and a member for well over a decade) but I have realized that their business practices are Shady and they trap you into having to deal with their terrible customer service. I first found this out when I was getting home insurance for the first time. Apparently there is a central system that most insurance companies report to so that you can show that you have been a good customer over the years that you have been with them. I was told AAA does not report to this central system so I had to get a letter from them. And then when I did they said I had only been with them for 6 months—- but it’s because I went from aaa ca to aaa nm so they considered that some type of gap or change in my insurance coverage: so I ended up with a higher rate in home insurance. It wasn’t a huge difference in the amount at the end of the day but the frustration I went through to get the letters was not worth it. Then a couple years later I tried to add on a new vehicle. It was a larger vehicle that I got used for family trips and there were still some stickers on it I had to get it removed but the lady at aaa said that was fine. Then it went to underwriting and they told me they would not insurance it because of the stickers: I was frustrated so I just went elsewhere and thought that was that. Then I January I get a letter with them saying they had cancelled my insurance. I called and asked why would it be cancelled—/ well apparently my bank determined that this was fraud because they tried to change me over 700 at one time. That was for the car they never covered! So I’m frustrated and the customer service agent tells me she will make sure this gets fixed. I say OK and ask what I need to do to pay off the rest of the 6 month period for my car only because I don’t want them trying to charge me for something they explicitly would not cover. I paid it and I get another notice that I still owe over 500. When I talk to someone else she tries telling me that I never paid for anything before January and all this stuff was past due. At this point I’m so frustrated I just say cancel everything, I’m not paying for anything and else because you cannot even tell what is what in my account anymore and want me to pay for the vehicle you explicitly told me you would not cover. I already got other insurance and proved that to them and they are still trying to charge me. I cannot even express how frustrated I am with this company. Please stay as far away from these guys as possible

Negative experience: We've been with Tripple A for several years, and had encounterd issues with them. There app is awful, customer service is ok depending on who to talk to, and they have taken my money and tried to get away with it. Every 6 months I would have to call these guys to take my payment for my insurance, they would have trouble due to “the payment being too big”, or “it was a Friday”, heard it everytime I called them to get this issue resolved. One day, they called me about my card not working because they had my old card in the system. That old card was not in use for 2+ years, and they have taken money out of my current card before but ended up trying to charge my old card several times. The app had my new card information and had it verified again by phone thats it's on file to receive auto transactions. They still kept the old card info even though they've told me they deleted it. Finally, they called me to renew my auto policy that they couldn't get to work due to trying to get money from my old card again. They took my money from the current card, and said I was good to go! 30 days later they canceled my policy and told me I didn't pay even though my bank statements said I paid triple a. I called them to refund my money that I paid them 30 days ago and received my check in the mail shortly after. I asked why didn't they renew my auto policy when they called me? She said “who knows”. Well at least they were honest about not caring. I switched to another insurance company and never had to deal with these issues again. Tripple A has definitely gone down hill badly to the point my family and friends wanted out. I would be careful with these guys if you are insured with them.
Negative experience: What a disgusting experience. Seven almost eight years ago I started throwing money at these people. Over the last three years, every six months, price hikes. The same old car, doing the same old thing, they never stop demanding more. Every call or face to face interaction was horrible, and completely unprofessional. I constantly got child like attitude from employees, or basically blown off. Ridiculous bunch.

Negative experience: Called for Roadside Service in Albuquerque NM and was shown long articles about using messaging. Never was able to speak to a human and I gave up.
Negative experience: Do not use this office. Steve Miera will lie to your face to get you to sign up. Once you sign up he will not return your phone calls. Do not use them. No one from his office will call me about this awful situation. You’re better off calling Corporate
Negative experience: I just got my international drivers license from this location, I was instructed the stamp they give has to be clear and visible whenever driving in another country, they then proceeded to give me a wet stamp that for the last two weeks has still not dried. The branch manager here should have no problem correcting this, everyone behind the counter was very nice. I look forward to being taken care of soon Jesuel as I am a gold member of many many years. Show me you’re a competent leader and correct this issue immediately.
Fantastic experience: Just had a wonderful experience with Autumn. She helped us book a Disney vacation. She was knowledgeable and kind and so so so helpful. When I book another vacation in the future I'll make sure to work with her!
Fantastic experience: Service at this AAA location was excellent! I very much appreciate it when I can leave a place satisfied and confident as I was after visiting AAA on Montgomery! Their customer service is friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. I would highly recommend an in-person visit for passport photos, international licenses, car rentals, and other travel agent services.
Negative experience: Worst customer service they say they will call back but never do it avoiding to give you a solution. Save your money and time go somewhere else.
Negative experience: Complete rip off, when I needed a tow they literally "jickied" their way out of it for a 26 mile tow. I'm taking them to small claims court to get my money back. They didn't honor anything they claimed to cover. BE READY TO BE RIPPED OFF IF YOU HAVE TRIPLE A.

Negative experience: I’d give them a negative 10 to the 100th power if possible!!! Unbelievably incompetent, unprofessional, in ability to communicate on their end. Was with GEICO FOR 20 years. Switched to AAA a year ago at the recommendation of someone. What a colossal mistake!!! It has been a comedy of errors on their part every step of the way. Beyond incompetent! Unbelievably idiotic!
Negative experience: Poor customer service. They forgot to renew my car insurance because the underwriter had quit. Was on auto pay for monthly payments. They billed me for two months to make up for the payment missed due to the late renewal that wasn’t done by the underwriter. Never got notification of change in billing. Looking for new auto insurance company. Have canceled the auto payments.
Negative experience: Normally, I love AAA. If they want to send X-Factor towing, just cancel the order and call a towing company on your own. Trust me. You'll be better off. Called AAA some months back. I had left work early to deal with a family emergency and broke down on the side of I-40. This guy at X-Factor Towing kept saying he was on his way. The app kept saying he was there. I would call and he would put the time out further. Took him 9 hours to reach me then gave me attitude when he showed up. 4 months later, car went in the ditch. Called AAA and it was this guy again. Said he'd be here at 11am. 2 hours later, the app says he's here. He's not here. Keeps putting the arrival time out. I canceled my order and asked AAA to get me a different company. The amount of money I've wasted waiting on this guy at X-Factor towing could've paid for a tow and my membership twice over without the headache. Edit: realized I had road side assistance coverage through Geico. They were here within an hour just like they said they would be.
Negative experience: Stacey Tapps was the most rude and unpleasant insurance provider I’ve encountered. 0/10 would recommend her or this office
Negative experience: Waited for a tow truck for over 3 hours. They kept pushing the time back further and further. And to make it worse when we called for an update they would lie about where the driver was. Ridiculous service.
Negative experience: Better off saving your money! Worst customer service EVER!!!!! You pay for a service that you have to wait a minimum of 4-5 hours if your lucky. I have had AAA for a long time. Never had to use until recently, I have called 4 times. 1 tire change took 4 hours, keys locked in car whole running 3.5 hours, tow truck 9.5 hours, tow truck 5 hours. That is what you get for your money.
Negative experience: This is day 2 calling for a tow with no response and no help at all. Had to arrange a ride home with the car stuck where I last parked and called for assistance. Very frustrated and disappointed. Now I have to find another way to tow the car. Canceling insurance and membership.

Negative experience: Warning . I received a letter saying if I get Automatic Deduction for payment a third member will get added on for free. After several payments my Mom needed roadside ️ Service. She called and AAA stated that there are only two members allowed per Household. I called and explained that I was given a Contract for a free third member if I signed up for Automatic Deduction for payment. The AAA lady said we sent you a letter saying your Mom wasn't allowed. I explained to no Avail that I never received such Letter. AAA Sucks .
Negative experience: Seems to be understaff! I don’t know how many times I heard we’ll be with you in a sec! There sec turned into more than 10 minutes.
Fantastic experience: I just want to say that AAA Travel agents are amazing. I have had the pleasure of working with Rachael, and Sundee. Thank you so much for wonderful customer service. I'm convinced that word of mouth is the best marketing. When opportunity presents itself I always tell my friends about this amazing travel agency. There's so much more to share, so you will just have to experience it for yourself.
Negative experience: I was AAA silver member for years in multiple states and then the ONE TIME I actually needed them after a catastrophic coolant loss they were completely inept because I wasn't in state. They didn't do anything for me and treated me like an 1diot because I wasn't in the state of my membership when my break down occurred. Complete waste of money and insulting on top of it. Now they send me all sorts of mail and I just laugh because they'll never get another cent from me but I do like that they are helping support the USPS by doing it.
Positive experience: June 9, 2023 Review: I paid my membership renewal online on May 28, 2023. On June 6th, I received a letter saying my membership needed to be paid. So I called the number on the letter. I was put on hold for 5 minutes when a recording said it would hang up and somebody would return my call. It has been three days, so I called again and the call was answered immediately and the clerk was able to confirm that payment was received and it had been processed. Hint: mobile answering service does not work correctly. If your call is not answered, try again in a few hours or even a few days later. I think that they may be understaffed and the top-notch staff are overworked. April 2022 Review: I have had AAA for 20 years. AAA itself works very well. Today, I went to the Albuquerque office on Montgomery to pick up maps, which members can get for free. The clerk who helped me announced, "You've been with us 20 years, and you don't have our auto insurance?!?!?!" Then she proceded to give a hard-hitting, sales pitch. Next time, I will check the AAA on Coors or in Santa Fe rather than subjecting myself to a potential sales pitch in an office that has only been suportive and helpful without pushy salesmen for the last 20 years. Recommendation: Try to see clerks at the counter, not the saleswoman hiding at the front desk.
Negative experience: Mr Lujan was very deciving when giving an auto policy quote. He never told me my driving would be monitored. That's very deceptive Pablo the insurance commission needs to know about your trade practices. Then people should know about your very bad attitude after I canceled everything the way you acting. Would you repeat those same bad words in church?
Negative experience: I had booked a cruise with Rachel Calderon. It has been a fiasco from the start. She does not return phone calls, she makes the client do all the work and then complains when she’s supposedly been on hold with the cruise company for 3 hours. Her manager, Glen O’Canna is no help either. I asked several times to be changed to another travel agent, to no avail. The definitely do not want to make the customer happy…just their pocket books.
Fantastic experience: Kori Taylor is the best. She is at the 10501 Montgomery Blvd NE Ste 110, Albuquerque, NM 87111 office. She is fast, efficient, and so knowledgeable. We have been with her for 12 yrs. We love Kori.
Positive experience: I guess their whole deal is cruises and tours . I was shuffled off to reception when I indicated I was taking a road trip.i did get supplied with maps and guidebooks. I do like the roadside assistance.

Negative experience: I needed a tow and tried calling three times. I then used the online chat which informed me that a tow truck was on the way but was not. I called the 800 again and was able to talk to a representative who dispatched a tow truck. I called back and the recording provided a time of about an hour. The hour arrived and no tow truck. Called the 800 number again and was informed that the tow truck was in Santa Fe but I was in Albuquerque an hour away. I was informed that another tow truck was being dispatched but after many calls again I could not get a response as to when a tow would arrive. Being stranded and cold and not able to know how long I would have to wait I called a friend to pick me up and drive me home. I informed AAA to have the tow driver call me so I could meet them when they arrived and no call. As my friend was dropping me off at my house the tow driver called and said I have 5 minutes to get there or they would leave. I was less then fifteen minutes away and they waited. They were nice and understanding! AAA never called me back to provide any information or show any concern. I was lucky to be in an area where I could get warm and food if I needed it. Not sure what I would have done if I was broke down in a rural area. I have been a member and have never experienced such dissatisfaction and treated in such an irresponsible manner.

Negative experience: They told me I had to go to AAA personally to get pricing for air fares. I live in Edgewood. The person who told me this is from Rio rancho and knew this. I am a member. Drove 29.7 miles each way to get printed out price's. Did not have to sign anything or show my ID. But did find out that I would be charged an extra$35 if I booked flight right then and there!! What's the reasoning for having to pay for membership if booking flights Is an extra $35!!!¿
Negative experience: I Have asked several times to be removed from their solicitation Services through mail and phone calls. I have spoke to Jeromy Hockett several times and asked to be removed he is obnoxious rude and very unprofessional. I have returned several envelopes asking to being removed from these services. I would never recommend this office based on the poor customer communication that they have exhibited with me. Before hanging up on me he said Thank you for being a member for over 10 years then hung up. Very rude service. He continues to harass me and try to get me to switch over to their automotive insurance when they cannot even come close to the current rates I have now.

Fantastic experience: If you don't have AAA, you're really missing the boat. The peace of mind that comes with the emergency services is fantastic, to be sure, but there's so much more benefit in having the membership - some if which I'm still discovering. I transferred my auto insurance over to them a few years ago and received better coverage for a much lower price than I'd been paying. Just yesterday, I found out they do MVD services for a fraction of the price of the private MVD shops. They took care of my title transfer and registration for only a $2 administrative fee over what I would have payed at the actual DMV. If you've had any experience with the MVD Express type shops, you know they're charging significantly more than $2. Trip planning, insurance of all varieties, discounts on all kinds of goods and services... the list goes on. I'm not a company shill - just super satisfied with this agency. Do yourself a favor and look into them.
Negative experience: Horrible and unprofessional. AAA left my son who is also on the membership stranded in Buckeye Arizona during 110 degree weather. I called for roadside assistance and was told that a tow truck would be out within 2 hours and if anything changes they would call me back. Nearly 3 hours later i had to call them back to find out what was going on only to be told that they were not able to find any one available to go out and they were not sure if they could get anyone at all and i should find someone myself and file for a reimbursement. I asked why they didn’t at least have the courtesy to inform me 2 hours ago instead of leaving my son believing someone was on the way. I was told that was all the information she had and there was nothing more she could do. How unprofessional is that? Unprofessional, inconsiderate and incompetent!!!
Fantastic experience: I went to get my new car titled and registered and it was the most pleasant experience I've had doing this ever! I wasn't aware of all the benefits of Triple A until today and, honestly, I may make myself a nuisance there in the future :) The staff was wonderful and made the time I spent there entirely enjoyable. And it was only about a half hour to get everything taken care of. Hidden gem here, people!

Negative experience: Called Called AAA NM between 9-10pm for roadside service for lockout. Waited a total of 1 hours after 2 calls.Didnt get a response until After my issues were resolved by a Good Samaritan. Not a good night for me or AAA.!

I have just added auto and home owners insurance because their prices can't be beat and they stand behind their work and have company ethics, and they are everywhere in the U.S.A.
Negative experience: The gentleman that I spoke with in reference to obtain a vehicle quote for insurance and homeowners quote for insurance was ridiculously high I don't understand how he actually asked me if I still wanted him to send me the quote for purchase
Positive experience: First I got my Insurance from AAA I was very happy the rate they gave me. Then slowly my insurance was going up with no reason. Now I moved to another state no longer have AAA. So, they mailed me a billed that I have to pay $$. So I asked for what? Answer is “I don’t know that’s what it says in your account”. Long story short. I always pay full 6 months insurance. Now I am trying to contact the agent( Jeromy Hocket) who gave me the insurance. He is not answering. Calling his manager also not answering. I am stuck I don’t know what to do?
Positive experience: This AAA is very close to where I live, making it super easy to get to. This visit was really important to me. A gentleman, named Pablo, helped try to get my premiums down. He was extremely helpful. The office building is just okay. I'd personally prefer for our money to be used towards lowering the costs of auto and homeowner's insurance. That's MHO.

Not sure if authorization will go through. If not I will definitely change to a different auto & roadside assistance.
Negative experience: Rude here. Made a couple trip as they dont explain their procedure there.. Not everyone has had a membership or worked there are some point. They dont offer more information than they have to.. EXTREMELY slow ..I hate for them to have more than 2 customers in at one time. Staff asking for help and blurting out how other offices dont know how to spell and enter incorrect information in their system. Outdated software. Staff unable to open a pdf. I'm sure there is a security breach waiting to happen. I hope the roadside service doesn't fail me as horribly as the in office staff has.. plus they are wearing gloves and cross contaminating everything any way. Sad ....

Negative experience: They never showed up and left me and my three kids in the freezing cold, I was last told they are working on figuring something out! After 4 hours I flagged down a trucker he had bolt cutters and cut my spare off which now is completely ruined!!
