Fantastic experience: **Quinceañera Cruise - July 2024. Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Ocean Cay, Bahamas.** We had such a great time! The Marvel team were truly experts and knew what they were doing from start to finish. The booking experience was easy peasy. All emails were answered and all phone calls were answered during business hours. Marvel offers many cruise lines for their Quinceañera cruises. I personally picked a final 2 ships because of the destinations, and Arnaldo Jr. (Agent) recommended MSC with 100% confidence. Any questions or concerns I had were answered promptly. I flew from Chicago to Miami with only one question: are you as excited as I am to cruise? Accommodations with MSC were great. We chose an ocean balcony with a king-size bed and sofa for us, and my three children shared a room across the hall. It was inside, with a queen bed and a bunk bed above. They slept comfortably, as did we. The rooms, we felt, were a decent size for a cruise ship. Having a balcony in my room was extremely helpful for getting extra doses of vitamin D and letting in some fresh air. Sealed rooms are not as lucky. Marvel had a great itinerary set for us. Thank you to the whole team for making it so fun and smooth all week long. The quinceañeras and their fathers practiced their waltz the day before we left. The next day, the quinceañeras were picked up in a party limo at the agency, and we followed in a tour bus. Judith from Marvel gave us a history lesson and made the ride to port an edutainment experience. We stayed as a group for some things: practice, welcome party, quinceañera, culture night party, and excursions. We were free to "cruise" the rest of the time. Excursions were also not mandatory. We only did one because it was our first time on a ship, and we wanted to take advantage of it, especially when people left for their excursions and left the ship a little less full. We will definitely work with Marvel again. We have an 11-year-old daughter who's already mentioned that she wants her quinceañera to be a cruise like her big sister. Looks like we're sailing with Marvel again in 2028! We can't wait to receive our photos and videos in a couple of months to relive all the great memories made. Even though I do not live in the state of Florida, I never felt uninformed or out of place. They were easy to reach and always helpful. Celebrating on a cruise with Marvel Travel was an experience we will never forget.

Positive experience: The trip to San Agustin was uncomfortable, the bus was very old, there was no WiFi, the few DVDs it had didn't work, the bathroom didn't have water to wash your hands, the guide was not very enthusiastic, the driver and the beautiful city of San Agustin were the only good things about the trip.

Positive experience: Our experience with Marvel Travel was not satisfactory on the advertised trip to St. Petersburg this past July 1. Yes, we went to Marpon Springs but not to St. Petersburg! The guide, terrible, whose name is Sol, decided by majority (when voted) not to go on the last day to St. Petersburg but to Madeira Beach. Failure to comply with the itinerary. It should be clarified that Marvel Travel joins Gallo Travel to do these types of excursions. As Gallo Travel's representatives seemed to have won the majority vote and convinced everyone. Again, Sol is very unprofessional as a guide... when we complained, she told us we could do it at the agency and upon leaving Miami, she announced it over the loudspeaker and all the other passengers knew that we had complained about not fulfilling the itinerary. The stay at the 'ghost destination' of St. Petersburg was until 4 pm... however, we left at 2 pm towards Miami... with some passengers who enjoyed the beach, drank, and within the bus, sang, drank, cursed, and even danced while the bus was moving... To top it off, two days later we went to the agency to file our complaints... Marvel Travel. Their agent, Mr. Arnaldo, was on a quinceañera cruise... his niece attended us along with a lady we had seen before, Geno if I remember correctly... they promised to call us to offer an apology and we are still waiting for it. We decided to post this so that other people do not get harmed like we did.

Fantastic experience: The trip to Pigeon Forge in Tennessee was very interesting and informative, getting to know places with a style very different from Miami. My visit to Gatlinburg felt a bit short. It's a place to have more time and see the mountains up close. The cultural events featured very professional artists, but I would have preferred them to be in the evenings, and to spend the mornings visiting other places to learn more about Pigeon Forge. In summary, the excursion was wonderful. I recommend this excursion to others so they can enjoy a nice outing. Thank you, Marvel Travel.

Negative experience: Avoid this agency at all costs. My family with another family went for a quincenera cruise in July. I was skeptical of this company from the beginning when the lack of communication was evident! They never sent us our cruise tickets and when I called the day before, they told me that the day of the cruise for me to look for one of their agents and they would give me the tickets. I was not able to check myself in online because it was registered through the company. The day came and I found an agent and they told me they don't have that and I had to do it myself. Without any regard for the fact that I was with 13 other family members, simply put I had to figure it out! Once on the cruise, we had to keep asking for information because nothing was communicated. They are extremely disorganized, the actual quincenera celebration was a joke! All the girls just went up one by one on stage. That was the celebration! No party with the dresses on and the time changed, totally different than what they explained would be the celebration. To top it off, it's now September and we still haven't received the pictures that were taking on the cruise of the quinceneras. When we called to ask about it, nobody can answer anything! Stay very far away from this establishment. Trust me!

My group and I are super happy with the agency and its staff in general, all very professional, attentive, and fun. The activities were very well coordinated, all took place at the scheduled time, and we had a blast at each one. My girl had the time of her life, made friends with all the quinceañeras, and I really felt that there was great chemistry among the entire group that traveled with the agency that week. Therefore, based on my experience, my family and I recommend Marvel Travel 100%, a unique experience and the best option to celebrate such an important date.

Negative experience: We recently celebrated our daughter’s Quinceañera on the Quinceañera cruise and sadly our experience with Marvel was not all we expected for the amount of money we paid. The company is disorganized and the Quinceañera celebration aboard the ship seemed put together at the last minute without much coordination with the cruise line. The day we were to have our Quinceañera celebration we were told that they had to change the celebration time from the schedule 6pm activity to 10:15pm. Prior to going on the cruise we went to several dance rehearsals and not one thing that was practiced was done during the celebration. Marvel failed to properly coordinate event with cruise line and they had less than half a stage for 21 Quinceañeras. I voiced my complaint to the owner who agreed that the Quinceañera celebration was not what was expected but he stated that they were not allowed to use the entire stage and were told the time when to have the activity by the cruise line . In my opinion those are details that an organized company would work out several weeks prior to boarding the ship. Attached is a photo of what is supposed to be the father daughter dance which we went to three rehearsals and they even had someone choreographing the dance which was never done because the stage was so crowded. All in all the cruise was great and our family enjoyed our vacation but the “Quinceañera” piece of our cruise was a disappointment.

Fantastic experience: Awwww I am super happy because my first bus trip to Niagara Falls was a complete success. Everyone was happy and we enjoyed the trip until the last day. The driver/conductor Ricky was spectacular even though he doesn't speak Spanish, he made us feel at home with all his attentions. Excellent driving and very careful, he helped us with everything he could and was always very helpful. Judith our tour guide was always attentive to make sure everything was fine and she gave us tremendous service. I will definitely continue traveling with this company Marvel Travel. It was a wonderful experience.

Yudith 'the Guide' is a super guide, keeping the trips lively and informed in history (which is also what it's about, getting to know different places). On this occasion, we had the pleasure of experiencing the RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL trip for the first time, and I honestly tell you that I never thought I would enjoy it as much as we did. We enjoyed it so much that my husband and daughter ended the festival completely dressed up, I think it would be a very good idea to repeat it next year but EVERYONE DRESSED UP (that’s what the festival is about).
