Fantastic experience: Great place to plan a vacation. Our friend, Sara Testerman, is incredibly knowledgeable, sweet as pie, and goes the extra mile for her client's satisfaction. She's an expert at planning an exciting vacation.

Fantastic experience: Definitely recommend this shop, they did everything they could to help get my vehicle back on the road. They explained the problem(s) and said exactly what they'd do to fix it. Everything was properly documented and clear.

Fantastic experience: We just had our car serviced there and I can not compliment them enough for their kind efficient care and service through the whole process. Alan Hardy, who was our contact person, went Above and Beyond to see that ALL our needs were met, and helped with transporting my handicapped husband, and with getting our car back home. Negative experience: They will rip you off. I went to get my brakes checked bc it was about time for them to be done. They gave me a quote for 1,000 dollars. Saying I needed all 4 rotors and pads replaced. I felt like that was high so I said no I won’t get them done today. Then they’re like well how much would you pay we can lower the cost. And that felt way off, shouldn’t the price be the price? After an hour and a half of them trying to get me to get my brakes done there (which I didn’t) and me telling them no 10+ times I finally got my car back. I call my dad bc it just felt so off. And he was in shock. I sent him a picture of the quote and he calls his car shop to get a quote as well. His car shop quotes me 550 for the same thing but says I probably do not need all the rotars replaced and it would most likely be 300 or less for the brakes. Do not trust this place. I mean to say well what would you pay for us to do them today. They were gonna take advantage and make me pay double if not more!!!

Positive experience: Will be back, think they can earn a 5. +Alan was great to deal with, ended up bundling services and got what I needed in one stop. Discovered and fixed a mix up that delayed my check out by ~30 minutes. Mandatory 1 point deduction.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been fan of AAA Tanner Road for years and had THE BEST service from Cisco and Alan today!!!! Felt that something was suspect from a diagnostic performed elsewhere (where my son had taken the car) and these guys listened to me and thoroughly inspected the car and found absolutely no issues currently needing repair. I will forever bring all my cars here!!!

Fantastic experience: Thursday during the rain, I hit a curb at Walmart and blew out a tire. I pulled into AAA because it was near the exit. After assessing the damage, I went inside to see if anyone could change the tire. I am not a AAA member so I wasn’t sure they would be able to help. Alan went outside with me, took my keys and assured me he would take care of it. The tire was damaged beyond repair so I needed a new tire. Alan gave me several options. The employees changed the tires so I had two good ones on the front, put on the spare and ordered a new tire. I returned the next day to get my new tire. I was treated in a courteous and professional manner. The entire staff was helpful. A shout out to Alan for exceptional customer service! I don’t live in town, but I highly recommend this business. Negative experience: This establishment has blocked the road to be able to access my neighborhood and is now forcing residents to drive through traffic and sit in line at the newly built whataburger next door just to get home making getting into my home a 20 minute ordeal instead of just two minutes. I will be revoking my four year old membership with AAA due to this disrespect to the community and will no longer recommend the membership to my friends thanks for making my life and daily commute a lot more stressful for nothing.

Positive experience: I needed roadside assistance and Aundre provided the service. He was very courteous, very professional and very helpful. Although I’ve needed roadside assistance only a few times in my 27 years as a AAA member, this was by far my best experience.

Fantastic experience: The service center is an amazing space to get your car worked on. They were very fast in assessing the car's service needs, then spent a good amount of time with us breaking that down with a document filled with pictures to showcase what they did and could do. Every step had the price break down, and at no time did we get pressured to do any specific repair or service. Their staff were all extremely kind and knowledgeable. Their pricing was very fair, and far better than most I've seen. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Clean inside with waiting room, prompt service with a smile, and I love the detailed report that they provide digitally (which you can access later on to remind yourself). Alan and Jeff are great people that take care of you and car!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a AAA member for years but almost exclusively only used the roadside service. I came to the tanner rd location to have them inspect my truck and was treated with so much respect and kindness. I was walked through the issues my car had as well as my options. No one pushed me to get repairs my car doesn’t need, and everything was done fast. Thank you AAA for always having amazing service. Taking my cars here from now on!

Negative experience: Got ripped off on a trip to D Republic. Couldn't make trip. ( Wife in hospital) Got no money back.☹️

Negative experience: I may change my opinion based on how they handle the issue with my car not being properly serviced. It has to go back for some things that were left unfinished.

Negative experience: Coupon for oil change and tire rotation is a good deal. I suspected they didn't do the rotation last time, so this time I sat at the window and watched the entire time. No rotation, nor did they check my air filters. Brought it up to the advisor but the technician insisted he did the service. Not interested in arguing about something I can't prove but I won't be coming back. We serviced all 3 vehicles here. Plus they constantly recommend unnecessary services. I don't need to change the coolant on a 2- 3 year old vehicle that has 10 year 100k mile coolant from the factory.

Positive experience: Cost was $350 higher at the completion of repairs than the estimated quoted!

Fantastic experience: I came into the AAA store today on short notice for a battery issue I had no appt ..Mike MacKenzie..Manager took care of my battery issue ..I had a warranty so AAA honored that too an I got a new battery ..I want to let them know Mike especially that I appreciate all his help during my stress full day an that I appreciate all his help ..I wasn't there that long either I was in an out ..I also want to give credit to a AAA driver who helped me with my battery an followed me all the way to the AAA store so I wouldn't break down his name is Kevin Jennings I appreciated his help too ..this all comes out of Mauldin SC by way of Woodruff Rd all in SC ..I was blessed by a group of fellas that helped me out today ..even Carl an Eric at Car Way in Mauldin SC they helped me out too ..thanks guys ...

Fantastic experience: Greeted me immediately, checked my car battery, had me out of there in ten minutes. Very friendly, very professional. Great visit!!

Negative experience: If you want to go to one of the worst auto repair shops in Greenville where the employees try to overcharge you on repairs then go here. AAA has become an absolute disgrace in Greenville and these employees don't care about being honest or truly disclosing all fees and can tell by the effort they put in every day and the attention of detail they put into the work on your vehicle. Don't waste your time.

Negative experience: Although I have been a AAA member for decades, the Tanner Rd location is not my favorite destination. They seem very busy. Services not significantly better than elsewhere, at least for what I have needed.

Fantastic experience: Good clean store, very comfortable, and spacious. Jeff and Armen were helpful and courteous. The service was performed professionally, and I like to visit them again in future.

Negative experience: Took my care in to get a crank position sensor put on and I told them what the problem was because I just had the transmission replaced and after everything my bill was over double what it should have been. I will never go back to this place again. The $150 diagnostic is a way for them to inspect your vehicle and try and get you to spend more money and charge you for it.

Negative experience: I went into AAA for an oil change and tire rotation. They tried to insist that I needed over $500 of maintenance services including brake & transmission fluid changes by saying they were “way overdue”… I had just had all of those services performed at my car dealership a few months prior. If you choose to use their services, know EXACTLY what you are going in for—because they will lie to you to try to make you spend $$$. At least get a second opinion before agreeing to any work they suggest.

Fantastic experience: I wish all AAA offices had auto service facilities attached. I came at my appointed time and they took my vehicle right away. They were friendly and courteous and reasonable priced. I would use them again for future services.

Negative experience: AAA Roadside assistance team is horrible and they tell lies. They gave the towing company permission to tow my car without the key. They lied about not having any towing company available to tow my vehicle home. The towing company said they haven’t had a call all day. I waited 7 hours for someone to come out to tow my vehicle. Sorry roadside

Fantastic experience: I had my car break down, friend had AAA so we took it to this garage. They diagnosed it the next day, no problem. I called around to compare offers and the gentlemen I talked with took such good care of me, and even tried to match my best quote and gave me a generous turnover time for the repair. I did not use them for the repair itself for other reasons, but not at all because of the service I received. I dealt with two gentlemen who were both wonderful, and very kind and understanding when I decided to go with another garage. I'm sure the work would have been great.

Negative experience: As my family used this service to fix their auto before traveling to visit, this service affected many plans including mine and I believe they are not good at what they profess they can do. They promised to fix the auto and they said they did, but they did not fix it and charged way beyond what should have been charged. This place is not trustworthy!

Negative experience: They are crooks. They made me pay a ton of money for nothing. They took advantage of the free tow and they didn't fix my car. I took my car somewhere else and got it fixed for 1/4 of the price. If you hate money go here.

Negative experience: They charged me 700$ for my alternator. I work at a dealership and they said it would have only been arou 350$. I’m so angry and disappointed that I was taken advantage of the fact that it was aft midnight before I could get it towed. I certainly would have brought it to my work, but they aren’t open at midnight. I work at McKinney Dodge. They said they would have done it for 350$. I want to be compensated 200$.

Negative experience: Let me first say that the customer service was great here, but I felt like I paid way too much for the service. I have a new 2021 Nissan Kicks and got a nail in the tire and was charged $44.00 just for them to plug my tire. I paid and that is on me but I just felt like that was a lot and being that I am a woman and did not know I was taken advantage of. I don’t think I will be using this company again.

Negative experience: It took me 2 days to schedule an appointment with a travel agent because no one at AAA travel on Tanner Rd. will answer the phone. Finally got a customer service rep who made the appointment for me. He said that They were told that I need an agent who knows how to arrange international travel. They sent me 2 reminders of my appointment. I get there and there is 5 women sitting around doing nothing. I speak my business and one very young girl says that the person I have an appointment is not there but she can help me and that she is a trainee and that I am her first customer ever. I told where we needed to travel to and she then told me she couldn't help me. Needless to say I was livid. I've been a AAA member for over 20 years. When I think how I have wasted my money for all those years it makes me nauseous. Don't waste your money there.

Fantastic experience: First time using a AAA repair facility. I have to admit it won’t be my last. Friendly staff. It was easy to make my appointment. They got me in a little early and gave honest recommendations for my vehicle. I would recommend.

Negative experience: The customer service at AAA has gone down considerably on the travel side. Perhaps it is a system issue of which the employees have little control, but there used to be suggestions and personalized service. Now, it seems the consumer needs to have a full plan and then ask the agent to book. It's been very disappointing, and we are considering canceling our policy after nearly two decades with AAA. We used to have a phenomenal agent named Morgan, who is no longer there. A definite loss for AAA.

The back order on tires is crazy as everything is however they shopped and accomodated my needs immediately. Highly recommended due to the friendliness, timeliness and efficiency.

Negative experience: Was told they THOUGHT I needed a new transmission (and was charged for the guess) but was referred to dealer to confirm the problem (and charged again). I asked AAA for quote on price for transmission/other AND IT ENDED UP COSTING 1/2 the price at the Nissan dealership. I was shocked! Been coming to AAA for years. Apparently also been getting ripped off for years. Shame on you!

Positive experience: Good service but the protocol of not being able to ride with the tow truck I don't like especially when you can wear a mask and ride safely

However, she immediately said she had a $10 coupon that she would apply for me. Much appreciated as she didn't have to say anything.

Positive experience: Staff was reasonably friendly and the service was done quickly. One reason it was done quickly was they failed to do the free tire rotation as advertised. The price was more than my last oil change here; the explanation was my car takes a “special filter”. Interesting, since it was the same car as the last time.
