Fantastic experience: Good place, helpful people

Fantastic experience: My car was towed here today. The lady at the front desk was polite and helpful. My car was fixed and back in my possession in under two hours . I thought I wouldn't have a car for a few Days and was so relieved how quick it was .

Positive experience: Explained to the person behind the counter that I am hearing impaired and asked him to speak up and look at me when talking to me. He kept looking away while talking and refused to speak louder. Granted it's not his fault I am hearing impaired, but he could have showed more consideration and kindness. I have been with AAA for some time, that may change.

Negative experience: I recently had an oil change and tire rotation. Everything was well. Four days later, I got a message on my car that the tire pressure needed attention . I went back to AAA to ask them to check the tire pressure and they told me that there was only one person and they couldn’t do it. Come back after work. I went back after work, the attendant was on her phone for a good 2 to 3 minutes before she acknowledged me and then she said to me oh I’ll show you how to check it yourself . I will show you how to check the first tire, then you can do the other 3 yourself .Seriously I’m paying 180 something dollars a Year for them not to check my tire pressures after I was just there less than a week ago and they did tire rotations. incredibly disappointed.

Negative experience: Hello, I already sent an email to [email protected] I am writing this as I sit in the AAA location in Endfield CT. My appointment is today at 4pm and I arrived early. Cassidy the service advisor and from what she said “assistant manager” was very rude. This isn’t the first time I’ve received this treatment from her and I feel it needs to be addressed. When a customer has questions they should be answered in a professional manner without attitude and when the customer walks away she should not be speaking about them to another associate at the desk. I’m literally sitting here facing her watching her speak about me to Rebecca which is very unprofessional. I came in with a coupon off your website and there seemed to be an issue with that being honored and if that’s the case then you shouldn’t honor coupons. I am also a member and should be treated as one due to my loyalty and this is the only location I go to but as of noble it may be my last time here due to the customer service I keep receiving from your so called “assistant manager.” I do not understand how you have someone like this as an “assistant manager” representing this company. Negative experience: I asked for roadside assistance at 10pm. Called 20 times had to get the police involved. Didn't get serviced until 3am all I needed was a Jumpstart!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Cassidy was professional, thorough and friendly. I was very stressed due to a problem with two tires late at night, leading to have the car tolled and spending the night in a hotel, and she was very kind and supportive.

Negative experience: Had my car towed to AAA Tire & Auto on Hazard Ave on July 5th at approx 1:30pm to have a simple battery replacement. Was told they were short mechanics and really busy. Would get to it until the next day (Saturday). Called twice on Saturday, once at 2'sh and was told again, short mechanics and really busy and they would get to it. Called again near 4 and was told it looked like they would get to my car next. Asked what time they were opened until and was told 6pm. Called back at 5:15 and got a recording that the office was closed. Closed on Sunday, and opens again on Monday at 7:30. Three days without a car for a simple battery. PATHETIC. Will NEVER go to this place for any kind of Auto issues again. Still don't have my car back!

Fantastic experience: I recently had an incredible experience at AAA Enfield Tire and Auto thanks to one of their outstanding employees, Cassidy. After returning from a trip, I unfortunately returned to my car at the airport with a flat tire. From the moment I called in to the store**, Cassidy was friendly and attentive, immediately offering to help with my situation. When I arrived, despite their busy schedule, Cassidy was empathetic and kind and offered several alternative solutions (my tires are a special order). What impressed me the most was the genuine concern and willingness to go above and beyond to get me back on the road safely. (While I waited, and enjoyed the free coffee, I also overheard this same compassion when Cassidy was talking to a customer on the phone about what their car needed. Cassidy was kind and understanding to that person as well.) Thanks to Cassidy, and the gentlemen who worked on my car, what was a stressful and disruptive situation turned into a positive and safe experience. I felt genuinely cared for and appreciated as a person first and customer second. ** To be perfectly honest, I didn't even realize AAA had brick and mortar locations until I Googled “tire”. There was DMV counter, a place to sit and talk a real live human about trips, etc. Also, they had nice safety kits, jumper cables, and other accessories for the car, including some nice luggage sets….definitely worth a look. And if I lived in the Enfield area, I would take my car there for service based on how I was treated.

Negative experience: Limited unable to help and solve issues. Everyone just sits at desk and they do not communicate with each other.

Negative experience: Hide yo kids hide yo wife. My chick got charged nearly a grand for plugs, oil, fuel system clean. Woof. Won't let that happen again. Edit: Uploaded receipt for proof minus personal information. Also worth noting that upon further inspection under the hood it does not appear that the spark plug boots or air intake were removed for spark plug access. Spark plugs could not be replaced without doing so. Evidence is that there is a lot of debris on top of the air intake that would have needed to be removed during replacement.

Negative experience: I recently had the worst experience at AAA of Enfield CT. I live just over the border in Massachusetts and am in Enfield, CT a lot. I recently signed up for AAA for the first time preparing for an international trip. I had signed up online based on my home location, which apparently means that I really signed up for Mass AAA, not CT AAA. One of the benefits of the Premier membership that I chose was a free international drivers license. I went to the AAA in Enfield, CT and showed my new membership card and the lady could not pull up my Premier membership, she saw me in the system as only a basic member. She then asked me to wait while she called up Mass AAA to verify that I am a Premier member. After 5 minutes she was able to verify this and then I mentioned that I would like to take advantage of my free international drivers license. She informed me that this was not a benefit of Premier membership in CT. I was very confused. I had signed up on the AAA website. How do these benefits not carry over from one state to the next? Are there other benefits that don't carry over? Will you even acknowledge my membership and tow me if I break down in CT? I don't understand the structure of AAA now and am very confused about what I just signed up for. Not feeling very good about my membership or my experience.

Negative experience: First time going there .. thought having triple a would give a discount .. the discount isn’t a discount because they up charge the labor anyways .. and when I came out to drive my car it didn’t start .. but they resolved that right away .. they were fast service though …but definitely pricey .. I didn’t think anyone would be more pricey than Firestone but they are ..

Negative experience: Apparently only auto service is open until 4p. I went for a passport photo at 315p on Saturday 1/20/24 and was told the people who did photos left at 3p. My 45 minute drive one way was a waste. I even called the listed number to verify times. Waste of time and money!

Fantastic experience: The young lady at the initial help desk (Lisa? I am aweful with names sometimes!) was AWESOME!!! Jen at the DMV desk was also nothing short of helpful and the very epitome of service!!! Thank You, my AAA Ladies for your Superior Service & Assistance, I APPRECIATE YOU!!!

Fantastic experience: I had service done and had some Confusion and issues with my membership. So I spoke with Elizabeth Ramsdell at the Enfield ct. store. Not only did she help me understand and figure out what was going on but she also help me resolve the issues I had. She is super friendly, professional, knowledgeable and super good at her job (promote her) she was just amazing! If there was more people In the world like her, this world would be a much better place.

Fantastic experience: Made an appointment for a license renewal, and it was so quick and easy! It was only 12 minutes start to finish. Erica in the DMV section was fantastic! She's professional, knowledgeable, and very personable. Don't waste your time at the DMV, make an appointment at AAA Enfield and they'll get you in and out with no waiting in lines or hassle!

Fantastic experience: AAA came to our aid on Thanksgiving day very quickly and my suv was towed to Enfield AAA and was notified with the problem on Monday and they had it fixed later that day and we picked it up Tuesday. Very happy with service

I was looking for luggage an other travel merchandise and she took the extra time to let me try the different options. She was very pleasant and went as far as looking for product reviews to help me make a decision .

Negative experience: I am furious with Erin Russell at AAA who booked our hotel rooms at Marriott Courtyard. We wanted to use points and asked if we should do it ourselves. She said absolutely not, that she would do it for us. We stood right there while she went online and led us to believe it was taken care of. When we got to the hotel tonight, we found out our room was not booked with points and that the points had increased by 8000 because we were now doing it at the last minute. We have also found out that our room in Iowa for tomorrow night was also not booked with points and we are waiting to hear from the manager at that hotel.I am going to by the Enfield office when I am back and expect recourse for your mistakes!

Fantastic experience: I was highly impressed by customer service, particularly by William and Ramirez. They were sharp, and they explained everything to me and both were very detailed oriented. I will be back for sure!

Positive experience: My car broke down near the area so I had to have it towed there. I had to call a few times to make sure they were on it. Took longer than expected. When I went to pick up seemed like a huge corporate office very busy with other businesses going on other than Auto Repair

Negative experience: Well I wish I was writing this with positivity but it seems AAA found a way to get over on me again. (Reminder: I drive 45+ minutes to this location because I had poor service with the Southington location) Purchased 4 new tires on 5/25/23. No road hazard warranty offered at the time of purchase. 6/14/23 I call and speak to Mario, inquiring about any warranty on the tires since I ran over a piece of metal. He tells me they can add the warranty, all I had to do was pay for the road hazard $60 for all 4 tires. 6/15/23 I drive 45 minutes to the shop, purchase the warranty, and leave the tire to be repaired/replaced under my new warranty. 2 hours later I get a call from William informing me that the warranty THEY SOLD ME couldn’t be honored and had to be refunded. I asked about repairing the tire and of course it’s beyond repair. LOL. The icing on the cake was that according to Mario, neither him or William could answer any questions or apply any discounts even if I did want to purchase ANOTHER new tire! I was instructed to call Brandon in the morning and consult with him. Why, just why do I even work for this company smh. Let’s see if Brandon can make it right tomorrow because Southington sure didn’t know how..

Negative experience: Took 7 hours for my car to get finished being worked on. Had an appointment for 7:30 and didn't get the results of my diagnostic until 8:30. Originally was told that my car wouldn't be ready by 1:15 but when I called I was told that it looked like it would be ready by 1:00. Got there at 1:08 and was told that it wasn't ready. I made them aware of the fact when I initially received my diagnostic that I had a medical appointment at 1:30 and was told that if the work wasn't done they would stop the work and I could bring it back. I was offered a ride to my appointment which was the only positive aspect of my visit. When we returned at 1:42 I was told that they we're almost finished with it. I did not leave AAA until 3:38. I was also told that my car got taken for a test drive but my paperwork does not reflect this as the incoming and outgoing mileage is the same. I do not believe I will be bringing my car back here if it needs service.

Fantastic experience: Everyone that works there is very pleasant and friendly. I want to give a shout out to the service writer there. When he checked my car for tires he told me he would give me a price but I still had some time left with my tires. He could have just sold me the tires. For that honesty alone I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Positive experience: I had a great experience. The establishment is clean. The prices were reasonable for a battery change and the staff were friendly. The auto staff finished fixing my car quickly.

Positive experience: This was my first visit to their new location. They were very busy, both in the store and in the garage. However, there was still plenty of parking available, and there was enough staff on hand to handle the volume. I was there to pick up an Amazon package I had dropped there instead of delivering to my home when I wouldn't be there. That process went mostly smoothly, I felt the person helping me wasn't trained fully in the process. The store was clean, pleasant looking, and comfortable.

I was able to make an appointment the next day as opposed to a minimum of 2 weeks out at the DMV, and that was very helpful. Everything looked brand new (it's a new store, lol). I feel that I get good value from my AAA membership, and I like Enfield as the local store to use.

Negative experience: I recently went to this location for an oil change. During the service they saw that my air filters needed to be changed so I approved. That was fine. When I got home I went to put the receipt in my glove box and it would not close. I called and immediately brought it back in. They were not able to fix it. I left a message and wrote an email to the service manager to request they fix it. This was a Saturday and he did call me back Monday. He wanted me to come in so he could help. I went the next day and they were able to fix it. It opened and closed. The very next day I went to open my trunk and it didnt respond to any of the buttons. This made me check my glovebox which was also now stuck closed. A simple oil change has become 2 additional visits to repair what the technicians did and have not been able to repair. I am now going to a different garage to get it fixed as I have no faith that they are able to repair this issue after 2 failed attempts. I am a long time AAA member and would recommend most of their services. However I would not and will not recomomend the Enfield auto shop to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Went to this location by default looking to get a simple tire rotation after multiple attempts at other garages. I was greeted by the friendly staff not expecting to have my request fulfilled. The young lady at the desk was not only friendly but also very professional along with the mechanic that serviced my vehicle. Though I haven't been a AAA member for any years having roadside through my insurance and and dealership though, I will be renewing my membership as an alternative to my other roadside programs through this experience..

I went in to get a new battery installed since my old one was 4 years old. Becca set me up, they took my car in and waited maybe a half hour and they were done! Becca was very professional, efficient and answered all my questions about other issues with my car and even set me up for an appointment on my time! I will be taking all my business needs here!

Negative experience: Sadly I had a dead battery this week when i came out to my car. Called AAA. Was told it would be 6 hour wait time! Not sure what happened with AAA, but not the service we signed up for.
