He was a great communicator and adapted our itinerary due to the extreme temperatures to make sure our students had some time in the museums with the AC, while making sure we hit all of the class pictures spots! I can't recommend this company enough!

Positive experience: Just finished the Westville Illinois 8th grade trip to Washington DC May 2024. I loved having the tours/stops planned, the bus and hotel arranged and the friendly knowledgeable tour guide Lisa with us. She provided all kinds of information on the area and all of our stops as well as being so friendly too. Our bus driver Mike was great as well. Smooth driving and he really knew his way around. Positive experience: The tour guide our field trip group had was well spoken, had really great knowledge to share about so many places/ aspects of the city and was very friendly/ helpful with questions, that I wish we had spent more time with the guide. Instead we were dropped at locations and there was not much direction or guiding happening. Overall, the experience was just okay.

Negative experience: Timing for events were not good. Actual plans and prep for food and moving about were not good. Greatly appreciated our actual guide. He had a plan to gather children and was organized and clear concerning where and when.

Positive experience: Took 8th graders to NYC! We visited Ellis Island and the 9/11 museum. Trip was well organized and students had fun!

Positive experience: Our guide was very nice but unfortunately our students were not given any guided information about the sites we visited and it was more self-guided. The itinerary was so structured that it didn’t allow for delays with traffic and wait times for transportation. Unfortunately students had to miss one of the experiences which is unfortunate.

Positive experience: Our guide was very nice and helped us get from point A to B however the actually information/education portion was lacking. I was hoping there would be more academic information related to the sites we visited but there unfortunately wasn’t.

Positive experience: This is my second year being a chaperone for the 8th grade DC trip. This year I was disappointed with the bussing provided and the guide who spent the four days with us. There was issue after issue with the busses- one even got stranded in Gettysburg overnight. The driver had never done a DC trip before and while he was very kind he lacked the experience to efficiently travel through DC. This inexperience combined with the tour guides impatience was not a pleasant combination. Our guide was immensely knowledgeable but overwhelmed the students with information that was outside their scope of study and/or interest. The museums, memorials, and activities we were able to participate in were well planned and organized. I’ll definitely continue to chaperone this trip, but this year was disappointing. The kids had a great time despite the hiccups but some changes are needed.

The schedule was jam packed and we saw lots and lots of sites in a short amount of time. He helped managed our time so we spent a descent amount of time at each place.
