Fantastic experience: 10/10 recommend renting with Turnkey vacation rentals! They are quick to respond and solve any issues! The condo was absolutely beautiful and only 8 min Uber to downtown Nash and provide everything you need. We will definitely be using them again! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Turnkey responded to my texts promptly and politely. They asked if we wanted them to come to the property to make things right. Because our concerns were small, we did not ask them to come out but it was reassuring that they were ready and willing if needed.

Fantastic experience: We rented this place because another couple rented a unit in this building. We were coming for a birthday celebration and I thought it would be useful for everyone to stay in the same place. This building is located just outside the freeway near the Gulch, which is in walking distance. Turn key was extremely communicable via email and text. I had all the information I needed to check in, park and enjoy the unit. The unit was beautiful. Very clean and had great style. There were a few snacks and some coffee. The pictures showed exactly what we would be walking into, so we brought our own coffee filters and ground coffee for the coffee maker, which happily had a timer! We used the glassware and the silverware as well as some of the housewares during our stay to eat, make cocktails and enjoy our coffee. The couch was comfortable. The kitchen table was nice to eat at. The bed was comfortable. The closet door was a bit crooked so it didn’t open/close properly. The bathroom had a little bit of mildew on the tile grout and the shower curtain. Shampoo and conditioner were included, as well as bar soap. Towels were soft. Bedsheets and linens were comfortable. The couch even had a few throw blankets that we used. The shower temp and pressure was perfect. The ambient temperature was good. It was eerily silent in the unit aside from a few ambulance sirens and the occasional use of the trash chute outside the unit. Parking for some units is compact only, so a smaller car would be recommended if you drive here and park. I enjoyed staying here. We walked to the nearby brewery and to breakfast at a local restaurant. It was easy to get an Uber from here to Broadway and nice it stay in a quiet area. I accidentally left my blow dryer and curler. The turnkey company found my items and with my permission, agreed to ship them back to me and charge my credit card. I am so grateful to have my items returned.

Negative experience: Worst experience of a vacation simply because of the terrible stay. I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life and customer service can’t do anything to help. Updated: Owner responded to the review but has failed to reach out and remedy anything.

Negative experience: I am adding on to the post below made by Mackenzie and the poor response that turnkey made back as I was in the house dealing with the same electrical issues and poor quality of customer service from turnkey. I want to be clear that we do not feel that every thing in their power was done to fix the issue. We called at 8pm the first time which is plenty of time to receive services to get power back on safely. I also want to be clear that an electrician was not scheduled until 9:45 the following morning and this was AFTER we were told someone would be at our door at 9am at the latest and after we had been told that there was nothing they could do for us. And the “refund” HAHA. They told us we had to pay for our first nights stay because we didn’t vacate the property, even though they kept telling us to hang tight at the house as they were figuring out somewhere else for us to go. We paid over $1,900 to turnkey to stay at this rental and we were only reimbursed $1,700 ($250 of that was a grocery reimbursement). So basically, we were only reimbursed for $1,450 of our stay. We were not told until 1:30 in the morning that we could go to a hotel that we would be compensated for. Which turns out, glad we didn’t do that because in the morning they told us that they wouldn’t have been able to compensate us for that. Don’t read or listen to their responses, they try and make themselves seem like they have better customer service than they do. THEY DON’T. Do not stay with them!!

Negative experience: Do not ever rent from this company, EVER. They are no help at all. Our power was out for 15 hours and no one was ever sent to come look at the house or come check out the issue. We were told we would be compensated and offered another play to stay, but not until 1:30am, so we chose not to leave that late at night. We were told if we had vacated that night, then we would have been reimbursed for our entire trip, even though we were told to wait until we had another place to stay to leave. Do not recommend this company at all.

Negative experience: If I could put 0 stars, I would. Myself and 9 other women have been through the ringer with turnkey the past 15 hours. After having to check-in LATE because they were not prepared, our power went out 3 times due to electrical issues. I called every 30 minutes from 8pm to 1:30am and in the end, NOTHING was solved. At 7am, I called again to still have no resolution. In the end, turnkey is not refunding our entire stay due to us having to stay at the house for one night because they would not reach back out with another option for us. DO NOT BOOK WITH TURNKEY!

Fantastic experience: We stayed in the Illume complex. We loved staying here. It was quite close to everything downtown and within walking distance if you are in good shape. We loved that the neighborhood was quiet. We had kids with us, so being right in the noisy downtown area would have been rough for our sleep schedules. It was nice to spend the day or evening down at the shops, etc. then head back for some winding down time. The pool was a bit small, but always very clean and well kept. The grounds were also clean, and we loved the secure parking. Evenings on the balcony were lovely. The unit was clean (other than the fabric ottoman in the living room), but you could tell that there had been dogs there in the past because of the occasional dog hair. It didn’t really bother us, but something to be aware of. The unit had everything basic that we needed, except two things: some pool towels would have been great (luckily we brought our own); also, a broom and dustpan would have been appreciated. We spilled a box of macaroni noodles one night and it would have been great to not have to pick those up by hand one at a time. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Negative experience: Ok, so we’re in a Nashville property billed as “the Gulch” it should be billed as “Gulch” adjacent. You can “walk” to Gulch, but not ideal for night walking, and is really an Uber/Lyft to everything. The place itself was very clean. We asked for a two hour extension for departure, and were denied. We had to stay here while a repair was made, and still no accommodation. The pool is nice, but can not sustain the amount of people and could use some serious attention. The water was murky, and there were lots of floating bugs/hair. For all the rules and fees, a 10am check out for a 4pm check in is something to please PAY ATTENTION too. Maybe look for one that isn’t with a company. Oh and last thing that creeped us out, there was a Samsung tablet- that I thought was friends. They wrote to us to tell us to charge it at 1:21am. How did they know we didn’t have it charged?! What is that about?!

Positive experience: The home was clean and everything. Some of our issues were with parking. It was hard to park there. When we arrived there was wet laundry on the floor next to the washer. Other than that it was in a great location and all the amenities was great.

Positive experience: The apartment was beautiful in a good location. It was close to downtown but not in the midst of the noise and craziness. The only negative of the apartment was the train track that was apparently right beside the building. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Positive experience: Our stay was good for the most part. The condo was clean and supplies were good for us. The only thing that bummed us out pretty good was the fact we were unable to use the pool due to a couple parties taking place around it...towels on chairs before 7am in the morning reserving for later in the morning for other guests. Very nice area, no problems there. And actually close to restaurants and shopping. Prior to stay I had read reviews about walls being thin- I did not find it bad except for the roof top AC units- they are pretty loud but it was pretty hot while we were there as well; would have been nice to enjoy the pool.

Negative experience: Unclean, non responsive, very poor value especially when on vacation and limited time to wait hours on the phone for no one to get back with you or correct the issue . The comforter was dirty and stained, you could not sleep on it! After multiple times and hours on the phone waiting, We just gave up and they actually called back at 1 AM in the morning and left message that they were responding but never brought another comforter and no other follow up. after several more hours of trying to contact them we finally spoke to a operator who said that they had so many complaints that their best advice to us was just to go to Walmart and buy another comforter. Second complaint was the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, clearly they had loaded it but just did not turn it on. Which leaves me to the third complaint the refrigerator leaked. Never ever again. stay at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort or do an Airbnb. Never stay with a Turnkey!!

Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!! We booked through VRBO and got stuck with this this company. We booked a month ago to Nashville and today they told us the property has sold and canceled our reservations for next week. They informed us through email they will refund but can't help. The property has been on the market for 87 days so they knew it could possibly sell and did not inform us. We now have no where to stay and after being on the phone for an hour they offered no solutions or help. What in the world has happened to customer service and not taking responsibility?

Fantastic experience: The house was located just outside the Gulch area. This made walking into the Gulch an easy option. We were a quick uber ride downtown or even quicker into midtown. The rooftop deck was great and we spent a lot of time up there. The house was good size and nicely furnished. Everything about our Nashville experience was a positive and the house has certainly an asset. The only negative was the construction next store. It was never a problem once you were awake, but the generator started every morning between 7 and 8 am which made sleeping in difficult. We will certainly go back and would stay here again, even if the generator was still there (hopefully not though).

Fantastic experience: The condo was exactly as pictured and was very clean. There were 3 adults on the trip and the small 2nd bedroom area was perfect and served us well. The location was great! Walkable to the gulch and close to everything. And since we got to experience our first Tennessee spring storm the garage parking was awesome to have! Would recommend to everyone! Positive experience: Our experience at this villa was great! Although we only had a minor issue with the parking space yet it got resolved rather quickly, their customer service were very accommodating and tried to resolve the issue quickly. However, the issue was not with the Turnkey Co., but with another guest, but turnkey still tried to resolved it. Other than this small incident we had a wonderful stay and a very awesome experience at this villa. The bed could have been a bit more comfy, but they were ok for our stay. The unfortunate thing for us was that we had rainy days during our stay and we couldn't enjoy the patio as the furniture was wet, but the view was spectacular, to say the least. I would also add that the cozy ambience of the villa was awesome for someone who were visiting Nashville for the first time. Our villa location was very close to the downtown area and to most of our activities around Nashville. Needless to say, we enjoyed our stay at the villa and made our first experience of visiting Nashville a great one. The only downside for me was that the parking entrance. This was because every-time you entered the garage the keypad was not one that you would normally drive up to. You actually had to get off the car to walk to the keypad, enter your code, and hop back to your car, to enter the parking structure. It was only a bit bothersome since the window, to enter through the door, was timed which I had to re-enter the code a couple of times, and because it was raining most of our stay at the villa.

Negative experience: If I could rate this so-called company (TurnKey Vacation Rentals) zero stars, I most certainly would. Their unethical business model during a global pandemic is absolutely disgusting. Withholding money from consumers by not refunding booking cancellations; due to travel restrictions, shows their true character. The future stay credit offered is an absolute joke and I believe it qualifies as the old bait and switch tactic. My original booking for 3/28/2020-4/3/2020 (six nights) was paid in full at $2337. The next travel date that my family would be able to commit to is summer 2021. The rate for 7/24/2021-7/31/2021 (seven night required minimum stay) is $5814. This company should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of already stressful times. Vacations are meant to be fun and relaxing; instead this has left us disappointed and disheartened. I have used my voice to let friends, family and colleagues know to stay away from TurnKey Vacation Rentals for their travel needs. Positive experience: For the money, the AirBnb plus the location was good. The parking is not good. There were sheets in one Unit that we stayed that had been soiled and were not clean. These were in Unit F. Also there is not a bathroom on the 1st floor so these is a big inconvenience. The hot water would run out to soon as well when more than say one person is showering at a time. Now for a unit that allows up to 8 people, this is a issue. There also needs to be additional toilet paper and paper towels as well as extra wash clothes and towels in each unit. There were not enough trash bags either. We had to purchase additional paper towels and toilet paper and trash bags.

It is not designed to be an unlimited supply but, rather, to get a typical reservation through a weekend or get folks started so that they can enjoy their arrival days, take inventory, and pick up whatever else is needed to get them through their trip. Prior to each stay, we stock dish soap, laundry detergent, a roll of paper towels, toilet paper, a dish brush to wash dishes, a few trash bags, dishwasher detergent, bar soap, and the standard bathroom amenities you might find in a hotel. Fantastic experience: The management team was very responsive and professional during our entire trip. Even when the received a noise complaint (or board game was a little heated and we had the windows open) they politely let us know of the concern. We had several questions about how certain things worked and they were quick to find answers to help us out.

Fantastic experience: Our stay with Turnkey Vacation Rentals was perfect. The apartments were spotless. Everything was updated and well-maintained. And the management was very responsive. They responded quickly and courteously to all requests. Their communication system also makes the entire process very easy from check-in to check-out. They even would automatically extend your check-in/check-out times if extra time became available, and notified us a day in advance for both. I recommend them and would 100% book with them again.

Positive experience: This will be a completely honest review. For the record, this is also my first experience with TurnKey via VRBO. In general I had a great time during my stay in Nashville. The city is beautiful and the house rental had a gorgeous interior, that was both comfortable and chic. The rental was well cleaned, and this I greatly appreciated. It is located very central and close to downtown which I was very happy about. My specific experience from the beginning was a bit disappointing. I arrived earlier than expected in Nashville and called them to try to accommodate me and my family for an earlier check-in. I expected them to understand my situation, as we have been driving for over 13 hours and wanted to at least drop off the luggage bags. After explaining in detail, the representative from TurnKey stated she was "unsure why there was a block on my account for early check-in as there is no reason the request should be denied". After review, she came back on the line to tell me it was not possible due to Covid. I didn't understand as she stated there was no previous party staying at the rental and housekeeping should have been complete (she mentioned in the beginning last check-out was 2am the prior night). I respectfully accepted, but was thrown off by the misinformation. First, there seemed to be no reason why a early check-in would be denied and then all of a sudden due to Covid. As you can expect, I was extremely uncomfortable for the majority of that day until we were able to check in at 4pm (we arrived at 11am). I clearly asked for any assistance even if it was just 30min earlier or to drop off our luggage only. Upon arrival, all garbage bins were thrown out into the street, we guessed it was garbage morning and all but it was interesting to be the ones to want to pick them up for the little complex. The first morning, we woke up to the sound of construction right next door. Of course, they fail to ever bring this up. Major construction at that. They are building a whole new unit, all you see is the would barriers and construction men with machines. The city itself is under a lot of construction, I think that is a good tip for new travelers to keep in mind. That same first morning, I received a text message from Turnkey at 11am stating "We have received a report of excessive noise coming from the house. We want to make sure your Ok etc." Mind you, at that time me and my family had already left the house. We were not traveling with kids or pets, and being tired from our long drive, I can assure you there was no loud noise. Completely normal daily activities like, showering, making toad and coffee etc. Even the TVs were at normal levels. I responded to their text message stating it could have been the loud construction outside and they replied politely to have a good rest of my day. I honestly found this to be quite rude, as we were denied accommodations from and now are being accounted for a noise complaint. I was so confused. They did not contact me at all for the remainder of my trip. I did love the unit and location but will consider a different one for my next trip to Nashville, TN. There was a night we heard yelling outside from a neighbor using foul language but I won't get into detail about that as that really doesn't have to do with Turnkey and their services.

Negative experience: After cancelling a stay in Santa Fe, NM (scheduled for Thanksgiving week 2020) 9 days in advance after the ENTIRE state of New Mexico issued a 'stay at home' order, TurnKey refused to issue a refund for the stay after being asked multiple times. This new order, which went into effect Nov 16th, 2020 for AT LEAST two weeks, forced all our plans and reservations to be cancelled for the vacation. This is once again (March 2020) an extenuating circumstance and TurnKey is NOT supporting people trying to put safety first and contain this virus. Through refusing to offer a refund, they are encouraging people (during a time when money is tight) to stick with their plans to travel and spread this virus. I will not be booking a vacation with TurnKey int he future due to this negligence and lack of decency.

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic girls vacation! From the airport we asked the Uber to stop at Frugal Mac Doogal in the Gulch. This is perfect! They had several kinds of crackers and cheese. This was a great 1 stop shop for liquor, water, and snacks.The bedrooms and bathrooms were huge. Plenty of closet room to hang clothes. We walked to biscuit love and the pub. Uber picked us up within minutes to take us to broadway or whatever destination. The music and atmosphere can’t be beat! The deck facing the pool is really nice ! It’s nice to go home to a comfy bed in a secure building. Perfect area! I would suggest providing coffee, for the first day or keeping it in the refrigerator. Definitely a must stay #

Fantastic experience: Very good experience with Turnkey at the Ilume property. New building, sparkling clean. Located across from the Gulch, very close Uber ride to Broadway, Midtown, and other cool neighborhoods. Our condo was pup friendly and the surrounding sidewalks were plentiful for a morning or evening stroll. We were on the 3rd floor, which was quiet, but the 1st floor had constant parties overflowing with college kids the entire weekend. That was the only drawback, but again, our condo was on the 3rd floor and noise free.

Positive experience: Some people like to sit down with friends and watch movies on vacation and the tv system at the property was terrible no movies or tv due to confusing 3 remotes with a Hulu thrown in. Property was right next door to a STOCK CAR race track and we had to listen to that roar for hours. Otherwise ok except was next door to owner of property and was giving us grief over the very limited parking available. Very clean and tidy house.

Positive experience: Nice place, odd neighborhood. Kitchen items left a lot to be desired. No cutting board, not one bowl to make a salad , coffee pot With no filters No salt. And the blinds in master upstairs only come down 2 thirds of the way so don’t dream of sleeping late. Otherwise it was pretty clesn(had to clean a few utensils and pans) spacious and nice. It’s covid so most of us are cooking in our rentals. I’m sure they will remedy this stuff quickly. If so, I’d stay here again.

Negative experience: I rent vacation properties 3-4 times a year and had a horrible experience with Turnkey. For starters, the doorcode we were provided did not work and it took 3 hours and countless phone calls with multiple people before we were able to get in. Ultimately, it was someone who had not even been helping us who just happened to answer the phone on one of our multiple calls that told us to try a four digit code that worked immediately. Why the 5 other people we had been working with did not know this is beyond me. Once in the property, we found that our WiFi connection was not a secure connection and it also did not work/would not allow me to connect. When I texted with Turnkey about this, I was told to try the "Belkin" network - there were 9 of them. I asked which one and the response was to "try all of them". There was an issue with washer, the spin cycle did not work and it was so incredibly loud that we could not hear the TV or each other speaking when it was going. The company said they would have someone out by noon the next day fix it. I asked if someone could please come AFTER noon and no one ever showed up. Not that day, or the following 3 days of our stay. The icing on the cake for me was when we received our check out email telling us that late check out was not available. I checked the calendar for our property and noticed that no one was checking in until 3 days later. I texted with Turnkey and asked if we could please have just 2 hours, which was only fair given that it took us 3 hours to get in to the property when we arrived, and I was told we could not have it. I tried calling to speak with someone in person and hung up after being on hold for over 20 minutes. I would love to leave this review on the page for the property that we stayed in, but I never received a link to do so. I emailed the company asking for one and they were responsive, but absolutely refused to re-send the link to me. It's a shame - aside from the washer not working, the condo we stayed in was quite nice. But this rental company is the worse I've ever dealt with and I will happily pay more money for a similar property managed by someone else, anyone else, in the future.

Positive experience: The apartment was very cute, the furniture and decor was very welcoming and beautiful. The unit was very clean, and everything we needed for our short stay was accessible. We also liked the lock keypad on the door. The one complaint we had, was the noise factor created by the construction that seemed to go on from 7 AM until late in the evening, (and on weekends), and the train that runs all day and all night, while blowing its horn. Had it not been for those two noise factors I would give my stay with ‘TurnKey’ five stars. I believe ‘TurnKey’ should notify its renters that there is major construction going on directly next door to the unit, and that the property sits in very close proximity to the train tracks.

Positive experience: Amazing condo but we had several deferred maintanence items to note on checkin. Microwave start button broken, blinds, towel rack, patio chair...etc small stuff like that was in need of repair and attention. Management was responsive but these were not items they could fix quickly so we opted to be left alone. Would have been 5 stars if the unit did not have so many small deferred items which required attention. We will stay again and hope those issues are resolved.

Negative experience: These people suck! They get a nasty attitude on the phone with you when you try to find why you’re rental was canceled just a free days after paying for it in full and just a few days before we are supposed to leave for our trip! Said money would be refunded it hasn’t. Talked to two different people the first said you don’t get the deposit refunded and the second said the First Lady lied that we will get deposit and full payment back! Negative experience: Would never book accommodation through Turnkey. We had to cancel our reservation in Nashville due to the Pandemic and they refused to give us a refund. Their agents keep saying that it’s Airbnb who won’t refund us and Airbnb says it’s Turnkey. Customer service agents rude and unhelpful, refuse to let you speak with a manager. Won’t ever book through them or Airbnb again. I have read reviews that they are terrible with owners and I guess that poor customer service extends to Guests as well. When do many companies did the right thing in these unprecedented times Turnkey has chose the wrong thing. We live in Canada and cancelled when the border closed so there was no way we could use our reservation. No offer of a credit either. Terrible!!!

Negative experience: The property was billed as sleeps 20 people in 2 units connected by a garage. They were not connected in any way and while the garages could have opened and been about 20 feet apart, the garage in the 1st unit was padlocked shut. Not only was this very inconvenient for multiple reasons, it took away the 2nd exit in case of fire. We called turn-key several times and they refused to do anything about it. It made what was supposed to be a group trip into what essentially was 2 separate groups. Very disappointed in their advertising of this location and their customer support once we got there. Would not recommend them.

Negative experience: Do not use turnkey rentals, we were told we could not go somewhere that we booked due to military orders, they did not respect the military order from covid despite our paperwork, despite begging for credit to another location, we spent hours on hold for days and never got a response, we got a text stating their policy, we would have taken credit to another location, anything but no customer service, poor quality and not one person compassionate regarding military orders, these are money hungry people that just did not care at all about our paperwork. Thank god airlines respect it! DO NOT USE THEM. We are having to contact military lawyer just to get money back on a vacation we cant use.

Negative experience: Worst vacation rental experience I've had due the complete lack of customer service this company has. To start - they refused a refund in the face of COVID-19 and instead forced a rebook but gave a limited window to do so. But, what's most unacceptable is that despite my efforts, I have never once been able to get this NASHVILLE-BASED company on the phone. I've called them to be placed on hold for over a hour with no response. I've used their "call back" service to receive a phone call from them and hold my place in line only to be kept waiting with no phone call back. The only way I've been only to get a response from them is via text in which case I have their attention for all of 2 minutes before they move on to something else, only to circle back hours later. Do not let your vacation rental experience be muddied by this company. They are TERRIBLE to work with.

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs! Turnkey cancelled our rental in Florida even though I told them the COVID restrictions would be lifted before our 5/23 vacation date. They refused a refund, and I painfully accepted their offer for a credit. The restrictions were lifted, and I tried to use the credit. They said I had refused the credit option (not true) and lost it. They cancelled my reservation even though those dates were eventually allowed, refused a refund, then cancelled my credit. They refused to provide any of this in writing. The condo owners didn't receive any of the money either. The scam seems to be for Turnkey to keep the money, and void your credit without even telling you. I dare them to try to refute anything I have said here. Avoid Turnkey at all costs! I will update my review if/when something changes regarding my lost money. **The reply below is a complete lie. I attempted to use the credit before I did the charge back. When I tried to use the credit, I was told that I had refused the offer for the credit. I then had to book with another agency and start the dispute process with my credit card company. The part about the short-term rental ban is a lie as well. It was lifted 5 days before my vacation started. No miscommunication and no confusion. The people on your end were very clear. Everyone who is in the same situation as me is very familiar with your standard responses that are absolute lies. I challenge you to to prove any portion of what I said is untrue. Negative experience: We booked with Turnkey for a visit in May 2020 to Nashville Tennessee. The Covid19 virus shut down Nashville and purpose of travel was limited. All of the other entities we booked with (airlines, VRBO, rental car, etc.) refunded us entirely. Turnkey is the only entity to charge a cancellation fee of 10%. This company chose to benefit from a global crisis which created circumstances that we could not control. Shame on them.

Negative experience: After the latest CDC guidelines and local travel restrictions in San Francisco came out, I was unable to make my April 17th check in date in Nashville and canceled the trip of my group of 10. I have been on hold with Turnkey customer support for over 2 hours, and have only gotten one response back from them via a text which inadequately addressed the situation. I have texted them multiple times, messaged them on Air BnB several times (asking for a full refund), and called them at least 5 times since yesterday with no response. I will never book a rental through them again.

Negative experience: We had a reservation set to visit our son who attends Vanderbilt. A week and a half prior to travel, with the recommendations on social distancing and the fact that my son ended up home (Vanderbilt canceled in person classes and closed the dorms) turnkey would not work with me at all to refund my full payment or allow me to reschedule our stay. Super disappointed that they were not able to recognize the travel restriction recommendations and concerns over the virus. Do not recommend. There reasoning was “no refunds within 30 days of the stay”. These travel recommendations came out a week and a half prior to our travel!! DO NOT USE! WONT EVEN WORK WITH YOU TO RESCHEDULE YOUR STAY

Spoke to Donnie a supervisor and was just not willing to hello resolve a problem whatsoever. Fantastic experience: Great little house close to all the sights of Nashville. 2 bedrooms, 1bath and a large backyard was ideal for us. Kitchen was fairly well stocked with cooking utensils. The recording studio was a neat little room, we are not musicians so we just looked at things.

Negative experience: My husband and I were unable to stay in the location we had booked. The surrounding location left much to be desired, but the immediate neighboring building was just plain sketchy. The place smelled stale and unused, and there were visible signs of lack of upkeep inside and out. Overall not the comfortable space described, inside or out. Disappointment is an understatement. We learned a valuable lesson.

Fantastic experience: Fun to visit the hustle and bustle of Franklin and Nashville and great to escape to to this wonderful, comfortable, spacious home set in beautiful farm/horse country. I would totally return to this rental if we find ourselves in Nashville again needing a large home. There was space to spread out (12 of us did not feel on top of each other), some fun activities to entertain the kids (ping pong on the porch and Corn Hole), decently supplied kitchen for some home cooking. It was clean and well maintained. Super comfortable and it felt like home!! Working with TurnKey Rentals has been one of the easiest rental experiences I have had. Two thumbs up!

Positive experience: Cute little apartment. Worked for what we needed it for. Super quiet as well. Smelled clean. Great location! Would have gotten 5 stars... but a few minor things. Closets need WD40 really loud! Shower head covered in mildew and mold Hideaway couch was just gross!! Not able to use it. Floors had small pieces of trash on them Other than that, we loved it!!

Fantastic experience: The home is beautiful and provides plenty of space! The rooftop deck is stunning and an added bonus. The beds were very comfortable too. The property is a bit aways from all of the downtown action but an Uber was consistently 5 minutes or less away.

Negative experience: AWFUL, BEWARE!!! Steer clear of this company. They did not give us the door code until 1 hour before we were arriving. Despite filling out their paperwork/questionnaire online, I was told I needed to call in and speak with someone. They asked the same questions over and over again, it was silly. We got to the home and immediately noticed a lot of people hanging out by cars in the street next to the government housing directly across the street. We told by cab and Uber drivers NOT to be outside at night. We were declined a cab ride due to the location of the home and amount of crime in the area. The house was dirty, cobwebs, ants, blood on the sheets, missing lock on the gate, pool was dirty and unusable, etc. there was a huge fight in the street in front of the house, which was terrifying since there we’re about 60 people in the street all screaming and then cars speeding away, hitting other parked cars on the street. Had this happened on the first night that we would’ve packed up and left immediately. Someone claiming to be with Turnkey entered the fenced backyard without even notifying us, given the awful neighborhood, we were very nervous and wished we would’ve been notified first. I called Turnkey to let them know if this and left it on their feedback but was never contacted by anyone. Seems like they do not care about their properties or the people that rent them.

Positive experience: I rented one of their properties in Nashville. It was very clean and check in/out was a breeze! They are extremely prompt in their replies if you have any questions, and their guest portal is great. My only feedback would be that the photos made the rental appear in much better shape than it was and the yard was not maintained (which made us a little nervous when first getting to the property).

Negative experience: This is the last time I rent from Turnkey. EVER. To start with - the comments in their website have to be fake, as they were completely lies. I came to a filthy apartment, and they "forgot" to mention that it's right next to a train station, which made loads of noise, sometimes a 5am. Their service is terrible, and in general I had a terrible experience. I'd prefer to pay 10% more and go with Airbnb.

Positive experience: The house didn't look like the picture outside but when we got in it was really cute and tasteful. There was no actual tv service there so luckily we had a Netflix account to use on the Roku. It was within walking distance of a very large flea market and a short commute to almost any attraction in the city. The internet didn't work when we came in and I do work from home so this was a huge issue. The lady on the turnkey help desk was trying very hard to be fake polite when I told her I wouldn't have driven here if I knew it wasn't working because I could lose my job and said " it's not personal and she didn't tell me to drive there and someone should come out in a few days to fix it" we only rented for four days and a few days would be a deal breaker for me and she said "stop taking it personally" I told her then that I was going to call my bank and have the charges reversed because it was a contract breach to advertise it with free wifW and then tell me it's not important.Then she sweetly told me to please hold and she would do what she doesn't normally do and call someone to come repair immediately. It finally did work out because she told me that she would have someone there about 9 pm that evening though It was about 4 pm when I called and while I was waiting I located the router and was able to use a LAN cable without WiFi. Overall the house was great and we had a nice weekend so I would have given it 4 or maybe 5 stars based on the house alone and I would recommend it for a comfortable stay but the lady on the help desk whose name I didn't even take was awful. I am not a disgruntled guest but she acted more like a volunteer than a paid employee

Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK A TURBKEY VACATION RENTAL! I booked a house in Nashville in October 2018. Upon arrival I noticed garbage strewn everywhere outside. I had read a previous review mentioning this, so clearly this is an ongoing problem. So prepare to block your nose. The house was a fairly new build and in a great location. However, upon arrival I quickly noticed how dirty the place was. First I cleaned up some BLOOD on the baseboards in the bathroom. Next when I went into the bedrooms, I was disgusted and appalled to see SEX HANDPRINTS above the headboard on the wall. It was so nasty and oily! Knowing I would have trouble sleeping with those above me, I took a damp cloth and went around cleaning the walls. The bedding was absolutely disgusting. I quickly took the comforter off and threw it on the floor. I grabbed a blanket from the closet and soon realized that there was some more BLOOD on it. At this point my anxiety is through the roof. Are these sheets even clean? So at this point I do a load of laundry (awesome start to my vacation!). The next day while using the kitchen I FELL off a chair. Apparently who ever assembled the kitchen set didn’t feel the need to bolt down the tops of the chairs on 4/6 chairs. Next up, we have a cupboard that is off its hinges, dirty cutlery and a dishwasher machine that with every wash pieces were coming apart. I contacted the turnkey team during my stay. First they threatened to evict me, because I was not the reservation holder. I spent an exhausting 24 hours explainging that my cousin who is staying at the house booked, and I was a guest who was taking charge. Finally on our last night (night 5) they said a local team was dispatched. My sister staying in another turnkey location was having different issues (no internet and missing amenities) and they were told the same thing for 3 days. Neither of our houses ever saw a member of this “local team”. Despite sending many emails, it took them about 2 weeks to contact me about compensation. They offered a measly $100 (our rental was $2100). After going back and forth with them, they have now offered me $300. I asked to speak to a manager and that was over 9 days ago. What ever you do DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. Book using Airbnb! Airbnb has amazing customer service. I once had an issue with air conditioning with an Airbnb property and they refunded me half of my booking.

Positive experience: Great location, spacious and modern, three ladies loved the 3 bedroom 3 bath unit with 1/2 bath on living level. A small issue with housekeeping, lack of proper bedding, towels not dry, no laundry soap to wash load of towels on checkout day (per contract) and trash on balcony. Once reported corrections were made (except launsoap for towels).
