Negative experience: Was ready to move all of my insurance (auto/home/renters/umbrella/personal prop) to AAA, but when asking some final questions and getting quotes for certain changes, the agent seemed put-off. What, if anything, are the agents there for but to answer questions about AAA policies and processes? Even to better understand the fees that are charged when making payments that took prying to even get an answer to. Yes, you have to pay to pay. You may have better success at other branches/agents, but I am giving my business to another company that has people in place that can answer questions about their policies without getting annoyed. Just think what it would be like after you moved your policies! No thank you.

Negative experience: Came a towed my car 9.6 miles away instead, decided to take the longest route possible that doesn’t even show up in my GPS. That route is 14 miles. And I should have been charged $18.20 instead I’m getting charge over $42 plus tax because you wanted to the longest route as possible to run up that tab. Scam!
Negative experience: Our car broke down last night about 9pm - in the left lane with no way to move out of traffic. AAA responded by saying we were scheduled with a technician. (Spoiler alert: They did not) 30 minutes later we were notified that we were in the queue and a driver should be en route soon and that we would get a text message. (Spoiler alert: Also a lie, and in fact we got no text messages from a driver) Meanwhile the online link they gave us showed an hour wait at first. (Spoiler alert: Also false) Then it switched to a two-hour wait (Spoiler alert: Also false) Right before the two-hour mark a police officer said he was going to move me out of traffic, but then decided to let me stay put given AAA was going to be there shortly. (Spoiler alert: We were both fooled) After two hours we got no messages but I checked online and they were now saying 4 hours of sitting in traffic waiting. (Spoiler alert: That turned out to be true) I called at that point and talked with someone. She was unable to get hold of a dispatcher but said a supervisor would call me back. (Spoiler alert: No call back) After 30 minutes I called back again. This time I was told there was a record of me calling but no mention that someone would be calling me back. I pointed out that I know all phone calls to AAA are recorded and so we could have a supervisor play back the call and confirm what I was saying was true. She still wanted me to wait for the 1:15am time even though they were still unable to get hold of a dispatcher or have any evidence that someone would show up then. So finally I got to speak with a supervisor. She went and found someone to actually show up after 1am. And she offered to let me call the police to have them move me out of traffic. By 1am someone actually stopped with a truck and tow rope and pulled me out of traffic. And the driver was very nice/helpful. So if you're in traffic and stalled, and you want to wait until early morning hours, know that AAA can help you in 4 hours on a weeknight if you call and complain enough.
Negative experience: They now make it very difficult to cancel auto renewal and give you the run around. Sad to see them go this route.
Fantastic experience: My car broke down this week and each time I requested service both drivers got to me in less than 15 minutes and were super friendly and helpful. Dylan and Roy are awesome drivers!!

Fantastic experience: Fast and excellent customer service. My Togo place to get an International Driving Permit once a year. In and out in no time. They also can take your picture on the spot if you forget to bring 2 passport photos ( required for IDL). Plenty of parking and easy access. No appointment required.
Positive experience: I called 3 times to try & schedule an appointment, no one answers the phone. I left a message on my 3rd try & no one returns calls either. I drove there the next day after trying to call two more times. I arrived & employees seemed to be talking to each other instead of answering phones or helping. I asked to meet with Collin & was told he was busy. After a few minutes I met with a young g lady to discuss Paris & touring France, she knew less than I did, a total waste of time, very disappointing. She offered a tour that made you pay the price of 2, insanely expensive for a single supplement.

Positive experience: Got two international driver’s license at the front desk. Neither person was very friendly, and middle aged woman was coloring with a detailed coloring book and full set of markers. If I was a AAA member, I wouldn’t want my dues paying for that!

Negative experience: Do not waste your money on Colorado AAA. They will waste your time and money and not care about it at all. I was stranded on the side of the road, overnight, for more than 8 hours! I had to call 10 or more times and was told oh it will be 45 minutes and someone will be there every time. No one ever showed up! Luckily I had a friend willing to drive to help me out once I was able to get a hold of him. Not once did I get a call or an apology from anyone. Decided I didn't want to renew with them, yet they decided to charge me anyway. I call to get a refund and an extremely rude person told me that I am 5 days too late and there is nothing they will do for me. I asked for a supervisor and the lady sent me to a roadside assistance supervisor in Nebraska who obviously couldn't help me although he did try. Just save yourself a lot of time, money, and energy and use your car insurance provider or anyone other than AAA for roadside assistance.

Fantastic experience: I forgot to renew my membership. Lady I spoke to was so kind & started my yearly renewal for a year. What makes this so special, when my father was alive and in the beginnings of Parkinson he forgot to pay his AAA bill. He was a member for over 25 years! Navy Vet! Fremont, CA office made him start again. My father's been dead 20 years... still breaks my heart. So Thank-you CO AAA! Sorry I can't remember her name.

Fantastic experience: I needed an international drivers license and called ahead for information about the process & necessary documentation and I'm happy to say they were able to answer my questions quickly and easily. My actual visit was 10 minutes start to finish and I left with the license in hand. I expected the process would be time consuming and tedious but it was completely the opposite! Thank you to the knowledgeable and efficient staff at this location!!

Fantastic experience: I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. My morning was not going right. Amidst the funk I was attempting to squeeze in an errand early in the morning before my next appointment. I had trouble finding the place, Google maps was acting up. I was rushed for time and needless to say I was a grumpy guy walking into the AAA Travel office. However, Karen Demko righted the ship. Her cheeriness, fun energy and helpfulness, despite me being a hot mess, completely unprepared. I came in on the wrong foot and she put me on the right one. Thanks to her I got my international driving permit and was able to move on with my day without a return trip. She's the best!

Positive experience: Greg Rodriguez was my broker. My rates went up and I was told there was nothing better. I felt really dismissed. I went to another broker and with a widely used agency that most brokers would have, i received MORE coverage for $400 less. Maybe they are understaffed, that I can understand. I'm just so tired of being dismissed. This would have been a 1 star but he did provide me my mvr which i was able to provide to the current broker I am working with. BTW: CLUE REPORTS don't always show a NOT AT FAULT accident as not at fault. "nobody's fault" which I was informed sometimes through certain companies automatically defaults to "at fault"....anyway, I was disappointed but found a good solution.

Negative experience: Broke down around 8:30 this morning, called AAA immediately. Tried the "submit request for service online" thing they texted to me. And waited... And waited... And waited... Finally called an hour later only to find out that my tow truck was redirected by the police to an accident. Okay, not a big deal. AAA even offered to comp me the tow for today as a result. So we waited for the next provider. And waited... and waited... I called a couple times to change my destination to a mechanic shop instead of home. It's now 4-5 hours later, and they still have not arrived or even confirmed an ETA. I finally had to cancel my AAA request and called State Farm for assistance. I had a text with an ETA within 5 min after I hung up with them. I have been a AAA member since I got my license at 17 (going on 17 years). We've been with AAA Carolinas for several years. Just switched to AAA Colorado this year. Never before have I been so disappointed in their service. Still stuck on the road and waiting... Why do I pay for AAA again?

Negative experience: I don't know what was happening for the summer season, but we made countless online appointments, had walk-ins, tried setting up a trip with an available agent on the spot, and each time our appointments were cancelled. We never sat down with a travel agent after a whole month of appointments...a very frustrating experience.

Negative experience: Went to rent car at AAA on May 24 for 5 days. The cheapest rate they quoted me was $484.03 for a economy car, 2 door with unlimited mileage. I am a AAA member. This quoted price included the so called 20% membership discount. I called Avis car rental and was able to rent a Midsize 4 door Toyota for $309 for 5 days. I called to complain to AAA about the price difference and they told me that they do not have any other price or reduction available for members. I question what benefits membership gets me if I am quoted a significantly higher price, ( $ 275) for a lesser quality car rental by going to AAA

Fantastic experience: Everybody here is extremely helpful. We got our International Driving Permits here and they also helped us exchange currency at a very competitive rate. The building itself is very nice and I won’t hesitate to come back and utilize their services.

Negative experience: 3 hours for a tow on a Thursday. My wife's car broke down and she had AAA but a fat load of good it did her. Her car broke down at 7:15 it's now 10:15 and the tow trucks have yet to show in an area close to our home which is in the Denver suburbs. She's been on hold now for over 30 mins trying to get ahold of someone to help. Earlier today my friend ran into a similar problem with their car and long hold times and the last available help. Definitely not going to continue and suggest anyone just skip this monthly fee BS and just buy the tow outright. They take your money and give failing service and long waits in return. Time to go the way of the Dodo.

Negative experience: Absolutely the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THIS PLANET… 4:30 PM IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANYONE ON A CALL… 60 minute wait… tried to schedule a tow 3 times. After finally scheduling online, driver called and said you need to be with the car, you have to call back and ask for a different type of tow truck. I called back, 40 minute wait. I was asked the same questions multiple times, finally scheduling a tow for 8:00... I drove across town to wait for the tow… waited 2 HOURS, NO CALL, no text NO COMMUNICATION. I tried searching online for a way to communicate, NOTHING. I called back, this time, pushing the button for "waiting for service" 45 minutes they FINALLY answer... total now 2 HOURS of hearing "you will be helped by the next available agent" when I explained my situation to the lady, I was then told... ... I'm sorry, we're now running about 6 hours behind on all our tows. "Why didn't you tell me that when I set up the tow 2 hours ago I asked, "would you like the special number I was given when I set up the tow that I'm supposed to use as a reference if I have trouble"? her reply "ummmm, NO, you need to “CALL ANOTHER TOW TRUCK” ??? "We’re too busy…just send us the bill and we'll reimburse you" .......YOU SERIOUSELY JUST SAID THAT. This is the service we've paid thousands of dollars for over the years for...... WoW, no words found..."Yeeeeaaah, we're sorry... MEMBERSHIP HAS IT'S PRIVELAGES...................... N O T. I WILL BE CANCELING MY MEMBERSHIP… ASAP WORST SERVICE ON THE ENTIRE GLOBE IVE HONESTLY NEVER BEEN THIS ANGRY IN 58 years HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE and HORRIBLE….. please do not lower the company any further with a comment back… I’ve been told “WE'RE SORRY” enough by this LOUSY COMPANY… SHAME ON YOU AAA DO NOT USE AAA, DO NOT JOIN AAA. Negative experience: I have an active platinum account and needed to get a tow. I had to call 3 times and they hung up on me - I tried to file a formal complaint about the lady that hung up on me and they "transferred me to a supervisor" and then dropped the call.... They then proceeded to cancel my tow. Waste of money and a bad company to trust to help you out. I paid a tow truck driver out of my pocket so I don't have to deal with them anymore.

Fantastic experience: Starting from purchasing AAA with Keith Allaire back in 2021, due to seeing a flyer with a rate I couldn't pass on, to my experience having a dead battery and needing a new one today. The AAA technician Jose, was very quick, efficient, professional, and kind. I am very happy with my service; Jose also had a new 2022 battery on his truck that fit my Volkswagen and I was able to purchase it right there. My car works great. Waiting time was less than 30 minutes, install and paperwork time maybe 20?. I am very thankful for having AAA today! Kudos to Jose and Keith!

Negative experience: Long time AAA member and have one complaint...insurance agents. I've been trying to insure my motorcycle and the agents will not respond to emails & voice messages asking for clarity and adjusted quotes. Sadly, this isn't a an isolated incident as I've had similar issues in the past.

Fantastic experience: Great location. Retail store has a variety of luggage and travel accessories. Floor layout is spacious, comfortable and the customer service I received was outstanding. This location has a dmv kiosk for license plate tags for renewal.

Fantastic experience: I was recently in the market to find a used 4Runner and got in touch with Richard Jones to assist my search. He was quick to respond, honest and knowledgable in laying out my options as both new and used versions of the vehicle would be difficult to find in my price range. When it came to test driving both a 4Runner and a Rav4, Richard allowed me to drive personal vehicles of his as others were not available. This showed a level of dedication to service far exceeding my expectations and proved very valuable. Ultimately he was able to get me into a 2021 4Runner much sooner than expected and I couldn't be happier. Thanks again for all the help, and I will definitely recommend friends/family to Richard for future car buying needs.

Negative experience: 1st time I've never had a bad experience with AAA except for this one. It was kinda strange to go into a AAA and not get helped or offered alternatives for international travel plans or maybe it was the dismissive people who didn't really acknowledge me until I said something- weird I know. The only AAA that I ever went to before this was in LA and guess what I had way better service there and like magic got help with what I needed. Ya this place needs to get a clue cuz duh obviously I can go on my phone and find a million alternatives but I'm coming to AAA for their supposed industry knowledge guess not at this location.

Negative experience: Went in to Get pesos for Mexico, went in 3 days before I left to order 300$ worth and they never came in time. Went in for a refund after Mexico and learned that the pesos were still never delivered. Took almost a month to get refunded and it still wasn't the correct amount back from what I paid. The inconvenience of this place is real. Why am I paying for a service that I use once every 3 or 4 years to not even get a task done.
