Negative experience: Updated review from 3 days ago. Gave a negative review. Email came from corporate saying we would I would be contacted. AAA Fort Mill responded with a link asking for my contact information, even though my name is on the review. When you click on the link it isn’t active/doesn’t work. They do not care they just want to look responsive on social media. Anyone else have this happen?

Fantastic experience: GREAT SERVICE VERY PROFESSIONAL, COMPETITIVE SERVICE
Negative experience: Last 3 times made appointments days in advance. Always have to wait as they do not honor the times. Yesterday 12/7/2024 Saturday had an appointment for 9 am. My wife arrived several minutes early for an oil change and tire rotation. 3 people in front of her without appointments. Done at 11:40. Never going back again and would never recommend anyone going unless they have all the time in the world.

Fantastic experience: Had to get my brake rotors fixed in the front. They Didn’t have the parts for it but they rushed it from the Distribution Center which I’d assume isn’t too far which wasn’t expected that quickly and was able to get it fixed in 1-2hrs rather than 3-4 hours as expected! Excellent customer service and pricing is very reasonable! Definitely will be back!

Fantastic experience: First time using AAA for auto service. Everyone was very professional, efficient, and I left with a maintenance checklist on my current work and future needs. I will use them again.
Negative experience: Update 10/30/24- Booked an oil change appointment and when I arrived, 4 people were waiting for service. I checked in and after 30 minutes of waiting, I asked how long the wait would be. The response was "we have 6 cars in now and 2 mechanics. We are working through them as quickly as we can." At that rate, I'd be there all day for a scheduled oil change. I told the service guy to cancel my appointment because you guys overbooked. He gave me my keys and said have a nice day. No apology for the situation. Well I'm now done using AAA Service. They don't seem to care about scheduling appointments they can actually handle with the mechanics they have available. In addition, pretty poor service from the customer service desk. I will take my business somewhere else where they care about their customers. Update 4/28/23 -This is the third time I have used the AAA service center. Excellent service at reasonable price with no long wait. But I always make an appointment and they don't seem to over book the appointment slots. Prior experience with AAA Car Care Center - I needed an oil change and decided to try this service center. I was extremely impressed. They took my car in immediately and ahead of my appointment time. The service was pretty fast and my car was returned very clean. The center found an issue with my alignment which was starting to impact one tire. They were able to add an alignment on the spot which they completed quickly. The service advisor was very helpful and accommodating. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable. They also texted me when they started working on my car and when they finished so I always knew what was going on with my service. The center does all the services that a dealer does except rebuilding engines and transmissions. An added benefit is AAA members receive a 10% discount on labor costs up to $50. But non members can use their car care center as well. I recommend the AAA Car Care Center and will return again. Give it a try - you will like it.

Negative experience: After bringing my car here for an oil change, they asked if I wanted to replace the AC filter and I declined. Since that day, the AC has been making a strange noise and it’s been leaking fluid into the passenger floor side of my car. There’s currently a sizable puddle there pooling. I’m fairly certain that they messed something up when servicing my car, which has resulted in a bigger problem.

Fantastic experience: I trust the guys at AAA Care. I have had a good experience each time I have brought the car in - sometimes because I thought there was a problem and sometimes for regular care. Twice I have left without owing a cent. Other times repairs were made in a timely, clear of frustration manner. This service is the BEST.
Negative experience: Very disappointed in how this shop, representing the AAA brand, handled my situation. I was quoted $140 after my car was towed to this facility after a flat tire revealed we had a broken lugnut situation. That quote skyrocketed to just under $500, including a $99 realignment (which I declined,) but still left a $400 invoice. Minus the patched tire work, a broken lugnut turned into a $360 job, with the $140 charge disguised as a "diagnostic." A diagnostic for a flat tire with a broken lugnut? After contacting other tire shops in the vicinity and discovering I was being GROSSLY overcharged, I had my vehicle towed elsewhere. My overall bill at 2nd shop was only $200ish, AFTER even inspecting another tire and repairing 2 stripped studs. To add insult to injury, I requested a call back from the manager at AAA concerning the overcharge, was promised a call, and never received one. So disappointing as I trusted this facility to uphold the brand's values on quality service at fair rates. I would not recommend this facility to anyone who isn't knowledgeable about what repairs should cost, considering this situation was a flat tire that could've cost me $500 had I not done my due diligence.

Fantastic experience: About 2 or so weeks ago, I brought my car for it's regular oil change and a diagnostic on a leak "somewhere" -- they found the leak and were very kind and patient with my crazy questions. The waiting area is great, with lots of USB ports for my crazy electronics. I was there quite a while, and it's a pleasant wait. Additionally ---- I work at a hotel near this AAA center. A guest asked me where she could take her car to be looked at. She had a noise she couldn't identify and it was worriesome to her since she of course is travelling. I recommended AAA to her, even though she is not a member. She went to them and received great treatment and was very pleased. Her car was diagnosed and she was on her way. She took the time to stop back by the hotel to let us know of her experience. I personally stopped by the Car Care Center today to thank them. Being in customer service, I truly know the value of a positive, complimentary review. So often we only get to hear the bad reviews. Thanks everyone. Keep up the great work.

Fantastic experience: Wes (store manager) and his team do an excellent job. They stand by their work. I brought in my 2011 Town and Country for new brakes and rotors and I picked it up and all was well until my wife said the car was making a funny noise when she hit the brakes. A few days went by and I noticed it as well. I contacted the store and they said to bring it in and of course... (we all have been there) It ran perfectly fine with no issues! So they actually took it all apart and made sure everything was lubed up and it was reassembled all for free. A few days later it began to come back! I actually had my other van in there for routine maintenance and on the way to get it, the van started up with the brake issue again so when I went in I brought it up and Wes had a tech ride around with me and he heard it and was able to diagnose it right there. We got back and they fixed it on the spot! Wes and his team are the best. He totally understands our families are in these cars and he wants nothing but the best quality coming out of that shop. It will be where I go (I've always gone to dealerships) from now on.

Negative experience: This location started out great. I always took my car here. But over time things have deteriorated. The stud of one of my wheels was destroyed by the tech over tightening it. I ended up having to go to the Rivergate location to have it fixed. Although their customer is better they still messed up a stud. I pay for the premium tier membership yearly starting to wonder if it’s worth it at all. Especially from a Auto Care perspective. I called on Friday about a tire issue to this fort mull location and I was told essentially they could only swap new tires. I get it for liability reasons but why not have the customer sign a waiver form? At the end of the day I think it’s just a typical ploy to sell new tires. After all this is a capitalistic society right? Simple things are fine with them like an oil change. But I’d stay away from brake work or tire issues. Especially if you have a sports car.

After visiting and getting news that I really didn’t want, I appreciated their honesty, their advice, and the fact that they gave it to me straight and gave it to me the way our mechanic back home would have. Negative experience: My daughter had been stranded in a dark parking lot close to Interstate 77 for hours. AAA kept putting her call on hold... What happened to her driver??.. Update: we have learned that it might have been better to use the AAA app. If you call, you might not get service? If you are reading this, take note. My daughter is safe thanks to the help of an Uber driver who took her to a hotel where she had a reservation.

Negative experience: Update: WILL NOT HAVE REPAIRS DONE HERE EVER AGAIN. I USED TO THINK- Nice atmosphere. Nice people. Decent prices on basic maintenance. Two weeks ago I brought my car in for wobble. I thought tires were out of balance, maybe a bearing. They told me I needed struts, cv joints, rod assembly wheel hub and bearings on both sides. Four thousand dollars later it has been back twice for the same stuff and is now making weird clunking sounds. I am afraid to drive my car and don't want them to touch it again. Friends husband is a mechanic and told me they took me for a frickin ride and it most likely did not need 90% of what they did. If they even did it.

Fantastic experience: I came here for a full inspection on my car. Paul here was very accommodating, understanding, and helpful. He took the time to go through the whole report with me and explain me how my car works and what the issues are. Him and his team worked overtime on a Saturday just to get me my car back before I needed it to go to work in Monday! I am so appreciative of their work and would definitely recommend chosing this shop if you need an honest opinion.

Negative experience: I personally suggest never taking your car here. Find an alternative for your sake please. You have been warned... I towed a 2005 ford 500 to this facility to be worked on. the car diagnosis was to replace the pcm. I declined the work priced at 1400 USD and had AAA tow the car back my home and went with a 500 USD cheaper bid on the work (906.00 USD labor and parts). I assumed because it was AAA accredited shop that this would be professionally handled but I was dead wrong. When my car was towed back home it was missing the arms and wipers from the front window. contacted the facility to see why this happened or if there was an issue. The manager suggested someone stole the wipers and arms from my car. I denied that as being plausible and asked him to check. Turned out to be the technician that simply thought it was a good idea to throw them under my passenger seat and let the tow truck driver return my car in shambles with hardware missing and parts barely bolted back together. This mechanic shop charged me 100 dollars (an extremely high rate for such a service mind you) for a diagnosis and they returned my car in worse condition than when I brought it in. I contact them for an explanation or an offer to resolve this and I didn't even get an apology. The manager Wesley White didn't even seem phased that his staff worked in such a fashion. I would hope you never find your car in the hands of these people. Sincerely. Update: The manager finally after months attempted to make it right but only made the situation look worse. The manager no longer responds to emails, and after agreeing via email to reimburse me for damages to my car, I did not receive the full amount agreed upon. You have been warned to not bring your cars here.
Fantastic experience: Simple issue was just replacing a damaged tire. Wesley was very helpful. Helped get the road hazard insurance filed, getting a replacement tire, and squeezing me in to get the tire on the car at the last minute even when they were busy. I'd give them 5 A!
Fantastic experience: I have to say, I spoke with a gentleman on the phone who seemed like he would have done absolutely anything to help me out. Wesley answered my two calls and was extremely helpful, kind, concerned, respectful and professional. Unfortunately I did not take my vehicle to their shop, but speaking to someone as professional as him certainly makes you want to take your business there!
