Fantastic experience: A few years ago a part of my axle fell out when I was on my way to meet my husband at the ER. On a terrible day the staff worked my car in for service and got on the phone to get a rental car for me. Amazing help on an awful day. Thank you AAA Indian Land

Negative experience: Dishonest. Installed a sparkplug, forgot to install wire which caused cylinder misfire. Not cool, I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this could have taken them 15 minutes to finish the job.

Fantastic experience: We have been bringing our two family vehicles to this location for years and always have a great experience. The service is fast and the service technicians are honest and reliable. Prices are even better if you’re a AAA member!

Fantastic experience: I’ve taken two different cars in this week. On the first car I had a coupon for $40 but they found a better coupon and I actually saved $50! On the second car I asked for a replacement part a body shop usually does, but they were able to help me out!! All the service advisors are great and aren’t pushy. I will continue to make this my #1 repair shop.

Negative experience: As a AAA member I will never come back here. Very bad communication and very poor customer service. I let it go a couple of times prior but this time was the final straw. With so many other mechanics in Indian Land, our community doesn’t need this place. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere slow.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment for an oil change. Service and customer service were both 100% professional and customer oriented. Full detailed explanation after my car was inspected by a rating system. It showed a timeline of suggested things down the road or obviously things that could be addressed right then if I wanted. Fantastic experience: I have had outstanding experience with Indian Land/Ft. Mill, SC AAA. Dylan Tobin, assistant manager, went above and beyond answering my inquiries and assisting with solutions, regarding my Acura MDX. I have been a “Plus” member for 30 years, have had to use AAA in several states due to my job travels & never disappointed with AAA service! BTW…whatever Dylan is paid, it’s not enough!!!!

Fantastic experience: My front tire had gone flat at home. After a temporary fix by a relative who could not find the cause, I took my car to AAA where previously my car has been serviced. Brandon was extremely kind fitting me in without an appointment; couldn't find the cause either and had his team check all four tires and sent me on my way - n/c. I was extremely surprised and pleased. Honest, thoughtful reps here,

Fantastic experience: My check engine light came on while on my morning commute and I called to tell them I was coming in. Mike was very helpful and the repair was completed by close of business at hundreds less with 3 times the warranty as my last mechanic. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Brandon and Michael were helpful and provided excellent customer service. I needed new tires and purchased ones other than the Michelin tires I usually purchase. I was not happy with the tires and wanted to switch back to the Michelin tires. The team was happy to accommodate and switch out my tires after several weeks of use. I paid the difference and was much happier. Great caring team at AAA Indian Land!!!

Negative experience: Tech replaced my valve cover gasket with a Genuine Hyundai valve cover gasket in April. I discovered a leak. Reported the issue to the facility manager. Facility Manager said no warranty due to me supplying the parts. Had I been informed of this policy prior to service, I would most certainly would let AAA source the parts. Facility Manager recommended I tell Hyundai the parts were defective. Seriously!? No Tech error accountability. Hide behind policy that is well-hidden from the consumer. Maximum profits, zero accountability. Found a more professional option nearby. I told them my story. They were stunned and sympathetic. Easily replaced my valve cover gasket at a reduced cost. No leaks. This situation could have been easily prevented, however, the lack of proper and timely policy communication, will continue to be a detriment to AAA in this highly competitive business. AAA - Indian Land, never again.

Negative experience: I came in at 7:30 am yesterday for a check engine light that turned on and off. Its been solid but not off. I paid for a diagnostic and I was told the total was around $1147 dollars for a variety of items. I left at about 1pm and the check engine light came back on. I turned around went back. I was told it was fixed a second time. The light came on again. I turned around and came back again. Luckily I work remotely. So I was able to work there. The final conclusion was there was a crack it would cost another $1800 to fix. The guys are polite and friendly but my day ended at 5:15pm with $1147 less in my pocket and my problem not fixed.

Negative experience: Never going back. Went there for brakes. Of course my rotors were bad. Oh and the calipers too. They basically said everything on my car was bad, which is typical from a car repair place. So I get the brakes, rotors and caliper. A few days later it sounded like my tire was going to come off. Then I hear metal hitting the street and my car starts making a grinding noise. I pull over and get a tow. The driver tells me my caliper came off. I get it towed back to AAA and the guy says "the bolt failed". I've never heard of a screw or bolt failing. I've heard of someone not tightening it, but not it failing. Blame it on the bolt I guess. So two more days I had to go without my car. They didn't try to charge me but this situation could of been a lot worse for me because of their negligence.

Fantastic experience: Visited this location for an insurance quote. AAA has very competitive rates for auto, home and other insurance products. We will save $400 annually by switching to AAA insurance. If haven't checked another insurance company in a while give AAA a look you might save a little money. They also offer auto service at this location and all the other AAA member services.

Fantastic experience: I called yesterday to schedule an appointment for diagnostic/repair of a third row seat being stuck in our minivan. They were able to get me in ASAP the very next day! Brandon and Dylan took terrific care of me and my needs! I would definitely recommend their services and I definitely plan on coming in anytime I need any sort of care work in the future :) A++

Positive experience: Brought my car in for repair as it was running rough and had check engine light on. After a $650 car repair bill the problem still existed. They charged another $200 to fix the problem but now I am not sure I needed the work they did the first time for $650. Very disappointed.

The report also breaks down what is urgent and what needs to be watched for future service calls. The service clerk, Mary, is vary thorough and congenial. Great representative for the service department. Why isn't she the manager?

Positive experience: I ended up with a long wait even though I had an appointment. The reason I chose AAA was to take a advantage of a special $59.99 Oil Change Package which included tire rotation. Upon presenting the coupon I was told that it would be $135.00 since my car was a Mercedes. Finally they could not rotate the tires because they didn't have a wheel lock tool.

Negative experience: It's a sad day when AAA keeps you up all night waiting on a tow, from 1am call till a tow truck actually arrives at 730.

Positive experience: The staff at this location was very helpful and professional from the time they towed my car. Once it arrived at the shop Doug performed a diagnostic and explain each deficiency. They performed all the work and the vehicle is back to working condition.

Positive experience: The oil change was $100 + or - and normally at the import garage I usually deal with it's around $50 so about half. I didn't get any discount for being a member so I'm not really sure why I would use AAA car care service when there is no incentive to do so.

Fantastic experience: The service writer was great (very helpful, thorough, and patient)!!!! The technician was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. This is the best experience I’ve had throughout my history of owning cars for over 30 years. For one of my repairs, I tried for years to get it fixed at different shops and no one could identify the issue. As soon as my AAA technician drove the car, he knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it. Every issue has been fixed and I am more than happy and grateful for this technician. My car feels like a brand new car. I will be taking another vehicle soon and will be requesting the same technician. This location will be my home from now on. Thank you so much!!!!

Fantastic experience: Mary kept me fully updated about all repairs I needed done on my BMW. The shop guys are very professional and nothing was done unless I was advised and approved. I highly recommend this location.

Negative experience: Brought a battery for my car today and was quoted by 3 associates at this facility that the price for the battery was $159 plus tax. Battery was installed and the tech charged me $169 plus tax which we discovered after he left. Called store, explained the overcharge, was put on hold twice for 15 minutes plus (which was never picked up and landed up with an off site "customer service" representative who gave a variety of excuses and basically refused to resolve this matter. Basically, they stole $10.80 from us and refused to credit our account. Have been members for over 20 years, used their travel services for 20 years. Because of this inexcusable fraud and refusal to give us this credit I will NEVER USE ANY AAA SERVICES, INCLUDING TRAVEL, WHICH AVERAGES $15 TO $30000 A YEAR , AGAIN. HOPE THE STORE MANAGER ENJOYS THEIR STAR BUCK LATTE ON THE MONEY THEY STOLE FROM US.

Fantastic experience: My rear view mirror detached from the windshield and apparently what with the Carolina heat it’s nearly impossible for most places to fix as the glue cures at a lower temperature. The Car Care Center was willing to try and get it fixed for me and they got it done! I called dealerships, glass places, etc. and no one could/would help me, but AAA saved the day once again!

Fantastic experience: Had nail in tire. Told us it was not repairable due to position of nail and need to buy a new tire. Found out we had road hazard insurance and suddenly it was fixable. This left a bad taste in my mouth.

Positive experience: My only complaint was that I had an appointment and it still took 1 1/2 hours to complete. I would have thought with an appointment it would have been faster but the facility was very clean and comfortable so waiting wasn’t uncomfortable.

Negative experience: I had been to this shop about 8 months ago and was very happy with their service and customer service, which is why I came here again when I needed a headlight changed. I had the new headlight already purchased and with me and just needed it popped in (literally a 5 min job). I stopped by and asked if this could quickly be done, the lady was nice and said she needed to check who she had available. Then another man came out and told me I needed to wait because there was other people in front of me. Fair enough, I wasn’t asking to cut in front of anyone, but he was pretty rude about it. Then the lady came over and she had run my tags and saw I had been there before (and I’m AAA member) and said it was a 30 min job and would be $50. WHAT!?!? I told her it’s a 5 min job and I would go somewhere else. I ended up at the oil change place RIGHT NEXT DOOR and they did it for me for free and took less than 5 min. I felt like AAA was trying to take advantage of me because I am a woman and will probably never use them again for any car repairs because of this experience. Which is a shame for them.
