Fantastic experience: My husband and I recently used Teresa Roberts as our Travel Agent to plan a trip to Ireland. We had never traveled out of the country before. Teresa did a wonderful job helping us to plan our trip and made things so easy on our part. She was always there to answer any of our questions that came up. Then unfortunately, the day that we were set to go, our flight to Ireland was cancelled as a result of the global tech outage. Teresa handled all the work that was needed with the travel insurance to insure that we would receive a refund. If you are wanting to enlist the help of a Travel Agent, my husband and I recommend Teresa!

Positive experience: I've typically had great experiences with AAA with my own vehicle. I made an appt for my son's small Mitsubishi Mirage G4. The oil change & rotation went fine. When i made the appt i made sure to ask them & be clear on how much service will cost over the phone. Even though I was quoted $45 over the phone for an oil change after I gave them the make & model of my son's car, they ended up charging my son literally DOUBLE once he got there. They put expensive a$$ synthetic oil in a cheap a** Mitsubishi. They should have given my son the choice to use the cheaper oil or not. The factory RECOMMENDS synthetic oil. RECOMMENDS don't mean REQUIRED.

Negative experience: I went to AAA in July of 2023 for engine repairs to my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. It was a lengthy process that took them about 3 months to complete. I paid around $6,000 out of pocket for the engine repairs after my after market warranty coverage paid out $6500. Two weeks after I got my vehicle back I still was having engine issues. I returned the vehicle back to the same AAA and was informed by the technician who previously worked on my truck that there was an issue with the vehicles knock sensor wire harness. The same wire harness that he referred to performs other functions and has other connectors attached to the same harness that regulates functions such as the oil pressure and also the engines temperature. Instead of replacing or repairing the issue with the wire harness the technician suggested to go to a "pick your part," or a junkyard to obtain what I needed. I was confused and in disbelief towards the situation and how it was being handled. The new engine had failed due to a variety of issues, but the main issue was engine overheating. I returned my car the same AAA and service rep "Calib" informed me that we could resolve the issue but it would cost me $2600 to do another engine swap even though my vehicle had an after market warranty policy in effect through Carshield. "Calib" and I would eventually agree to a deal to have another brand new motor put in to replace the previous new motor that went bad. That process took months to complete as well. After they finished putting the 2nd brand new motor in they informed me that the motor that had just been put in had factory defects, via bad connecting rods. I asked Calib and his manager, how can they charge me for repairs on a job that they did that has faulty factory merchandise without fixing the issue first? My previous experience with the AAA at the corner of Shull and Old Troy has been terrible and my car is still undrivable. They are telling me I need to pay another $2600 for them to fix the issues. Do not bring your car here. This company steals your money and will leave you with a car that is in worse condition than it was before.

Negative experience: I made an appointment for oil change for non-synthtic oil when oil change was done they put synthetic oil increasing the price by $38.00 no apologies for mistake just told that that was the right oil for my car which owners manual says it doesn't require synthetic . When I get my car see big oil foot prints ,when I say something about hea ask me if I want clean off, instead of saying I will clean .Then going down the road I realized that there is grease on my hands from the steering wheel .I would be concerned if the would do major repairs on a vehicle if they do this poor of a job on a oil change . I would beware of the quality and safety of the work that is done

Negative experience: Took my truck to have a diagnostic November 13th, was told I needed a coil pack replaced. Service engine light was on when vehicle was towed into facility. When I picked it up a few days later, 3 lights were on my dashboard! Went back in to notify the assistant manager, he proceeds to say, "I don't know why lights on on." Next day, a friend of mine popped the hood, to notice the throttle body hose disconnected, and piece that covers coil packs was exposed. Contacted Aj, assistant manager, to inform him of my issue. He proceeds to say, " Lack of communication." My parts were left sitting there at the facility, and yes, we had to travel an hour to retrieve those parts. I will NOT be revisiting this facility, and don't recommend anyone to. Thank God I made it home safely, major liability on their part.

Negative experience: Have a friend going here, they are over charging like crazy new power steering pump brand new from the store is 190 to 285 depending on the brand you go with they are putting in a rebuilt one and charging 1800 stay away from this place another shop say should be under 700 to do and online backs that up after reading other reviews I'm not surprised

Positive experience: Multiple trips back with the same issue and each time my vehicle sits for days with excuse after excuse. You'd think coming back with the same complaint you'd get priority to make sure they didn't miss something, but instead it's just another job and you wait. Would not recommend. Update....finally got my van fixed and they did they repairs under warranty. Not pleased with the delay getting to it, but they did honor their work.

Fantastic experience: I blew a tire on 75 and had my tire changed quickly after being towed to this location. The staff was friendly and got me back on the highway with a hour after my blowout.

Negative experience: My 98 Mustang towed there with failure to start. Free emergency diagnostic revealed need for a new Transceiver part no longer made. They at least paid for my free tow of vehicle back to my own driveway. My 74 y/o airplane mechanic buddy long ago retired, noticed immediately electrical corrosion, cleaned my wiring and started the car right up. Hardly inspires confidence for using this auto service shop in future.

Negative experience: We had a poor customer experience with Assistant Manager AJ Sunderland. We've been coming to this location for a few years now for my F150 after miserable experiences with other locations providing false information to upsell services or just outright damaging our vehicles. Heres our experience bringing a Honda in for an oil change - Service was completed on Monday and we picked it up to go on about our week. On Wednesday it was noticed that oil had leaked out onto my in-laws driveway and we found leakage on our garage floor when the SUV was brought home. After taking pictures of the leak and undercarriage where it was clear oil was present my wife called AAA to bring the vehicle back in so that it could be checked Thursday for whether there was a missing gasket on the drain plug, problem with the oil filter or residual oil that was not cleaned up fully after the oil change. It was ultimately discovered that oil filter was defective so that was replaced and my wife went about her day thinking everything was corrected. No customer service concerns at this point as a defective part is what it is. Fix it and we move on. Now hyperaware to the prior leak from the oil filter my wife noticed more oil on the ground a few hours later in the garage which we chocked up to probably being residual because of multiple oil changes in a few days. My wife climbed under the SUV to look at where the oil might be coming from and noticed that there was now a missing plug/grommet from the plastic covers under the vehicle that had been there just hours prior. She went back to AAA for a 2nd time on Thursday to try and have them find the piece that had gone missing between fixing the oil filter, degreasing the subframe and releasing the vehicle to drive back to our home. It was not located so a replacement was put in place and my wife was taken out to the service bay to show her the replacement grommet and explain the residual oil. Up to this point, there had been no problems with customer service but the experience went downhill from here. After wrapping up the 2nd visit to AAA in the same day my wife requested documentation for what was done to add to our vehicle records. AJ typed out several notes explaining what was done during the final visit for the Honda and handed the paperwork to my wife with a "you're all set". Now up to this point for both visits on Thursday there was nothing said by AAA personnel to suggest being apologetic to the inconvenience of having to bring the vehicle back multiple times. Being in the customer service industry my wife paused to see if AJ would take the hint by asking "is there anything else?" to which he responded "nope you're good to go". Upset that her time was obviously not being considered she stated her concern over the lack of professionalism in the situation and left. On Saturday of the same week I took my F150 in to get the free part of the oil change promotion. While picking up my vehicle I noticed that AJ was sitting at his desk on the phone so I waited for him to conclude his conversation. I introduced myself and indicated that I was aware that he had assisted my wife with the Honda earlier in the week. Before I could finish speaking he began talking about how they had found a defective oil filter. I indicated that I was aware and that my wife had become upset due to having to come back a 2nd time on the same day and not receiving any acknowledgement being apologetic to the inconvenience of her time. He proceeded to be what I believe was very condescending stating that my wife had come in visibly upset and made the statement that once someone is in that state its hard for them to come out of it. That was followed up by him lying to me in person that he had been apologetic about the issue with the oil filter initially when I knew that to not be the case. The final straw was when he stated that he apologized for his apology not being up to my wife's standard. At that point I could see that the conversation could no longer be productive and opted to leave the facility. We won't be back.

Negative experience: The staff were very friendly however the service completed was terrible. I had an oil change and my valve gasket covers replaced. My oil plug was left off causing oil to drip badly. My battery was removed during the repairs and placed back in the car without being bolted down along with several other parts left without being placed back properly. I have had to take my car for repairs elsewhere after having the work done at triple A in Huber heights. I will never take my car back to this shop. Very disatisfied!

Fantastic experience: Great people helped get what I needed done with my battery but AAA personally sucks do to the fact I had to drive 25 minutes from home to get my battery replaced wish AAA told me on the membership that I got there where no battery trucks never home if I could find no road side assistance next year I'm done with AAA takes them hrs to get to you when you call membership for three years well not for long
Fantastic experience: I had a fuel pump go out right in front of the service department. I had it replaced there . Three months later it went out again. AAA came and got my car . After a short time in the week they went back through it . Replaced the fuel pump and filter . The car is a 1997 trans am . You have to drop the rear end to do this . They didn't charge me a dime for the second time in . I would feel confident giving then any mechanical work on anything . Thank You . AAA Mr Robin Sulfridge.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience when I stopped by AAA a few days before a labor day trip. I really appreciate the help that Marissa and Melinda gave me when I asked for a trip tik, map and tour books. Even though due to a national paper shortage they didn't have an Ohio map or NC, WVA or VA tour books, they went out of their way to provide me with a regional map that was better & found me an informative book for NC - my destination. They also printed info from the website to assist me. Also a guy from the auto service department was willing to check the pressure of my tires when I asked if they could do that. All in all it was a refreshing experience at AAA Huber Heights and I thank them for that and I wanted to share that.

Negative experience: Was here 09.15.2022 just to use the air machine to inflate my tire. For some reason it kept deflating it. Since I'd never had that issue with this particular machine I went inside for assistance and the lady at the counter told me to ask a red headed guy. Did. He pointed at the garage bay and told me to pull around and he'd just put the air in himself. I pull in and sit for a sec, then look to my left to see the other guy waving his hands and screaming, while customers laugh at me. I point to the red head who clearly didn't inform anyone and was just sitting there, bc he told me to this. The man is still screaming and throwing his arms around when he turned to say something to the guy and the guy walks out. I asked what I did wrong and he said it was miscommunication. He then pretends to fill up my tire. I watched him gesture but not do anything, then pretend to have dirt on his clean hands like he did something. I told him the light was still on and he shrugged and said it'll go off eventually, then he stared at me, blankly. I went there with my tire at 31 and needed it to be 34. It was deflated to 27 by the machine, which is where it was filled from, today 09.16. He could've just told me there's nothing to do about it or that he didn't feel like moving instead of pretending to help. Thanks for the warm customer service AAA

Negative experience: I am not happy this place wasted our gas because it could not do a transmission and I would not have paid 90 dollars for an oil change. That is a waste of money. Fantastic experience: Great Great Great place. My family and I had no clue AAA had service centers. We immediately took full advantage and had all 3 vehicles serviced within 2 weeks at this location. Very kind, informative, and understanding. Also great with communication as to progress with your our vehicles. And all of the were serviced within 2 days of drop off.We will be returning for future services.

Negative experience: I went for oil change and for them to check my brakes because the light came on in my car and it sounded like the brakes were falling out of my car . Stephen the man waiting on me told me after I ask him why didn't they check the brakes out he said that they could look threw the rims. I thought he might of told me that because I am female. I still feel that he could of at least take the wheel off and look. A few weeks back I took my cR over there because it wouldn't start. I had them check it out they said the battery cable was loose the next day out again and the battery cable was broken right where it connects to the cableI had the same problem. I called AAA

Fantastic experience: An outstanding store with spectacular customer service! They had my car in and out of there for an oil change and tire rotation in 42 minutes. I really like the way that they have the car care place and the AAA customer service together in one store. They also have quite a few items to purchase as well as just about any map that you want and other services related to travel. The personnel were quite friendly and talkative and very good listeners. The store itself is pretty new, being just a few years old, and very clean. They're operating at the highest standard of excellence when it comes to Coronavirus cleanliness. But the store also has a clean look to it when you walk in. It's very smooth and streamlined, making use of all the available space. They even had coffee and donuts the day that I walked in there. Don't really know of many places that do that anymore because they are trying to cut corners to save on cost. An added bonus is the really awesome large glass windows that are on one side of the waiting area if you want to see what they're doing exactly with your car. Overall, this place is above the rest of the places that I've taken my car to for oil changes, to include the dealership. Way to go AAA!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Always friendly, timely and fair pricing! As a woman I have had issues with other shops treating me as if I know nothing. This shop clearly values customers because I’m always treated the same! With honesty and fairness! **edit ** This location is under new management. Sadly, I need to find another mechanic shop that values its customers.

Negative experience: Horrible experience, I paid for four brand new tires and they put on two used tires that were worn down and looked worse then the tires I already had on my car . Not mention they even put a flat tire on my car and claimed “they didn’t know how it happened” . Overall poor service, the man who installed my tires didn’t even take the time to look and see that he put two used and wore down tires on my car along with one of them being flat . I had too wait an extra 20 minutes for them to take the tires off and put new ones on which they should of done in the first place . When I tried to explain this instance to the man at the desk they began to get rude with me. I had to pay 700$ for a pour quality job .

Positive experience: I went in for an alingment on my 2016 corvette it took an hour to be completed. I test drove it didn't get a 1/4 mile before I could see the steering wheel was way off center. While they had it they claim the battery went dead and they wanted to test it to see if it was good so they could sell me a new one. They realigned it and it was much better but the steering wheel is still not straight. I don't think I'll be back.

Fantastic experience: Out of an emergency I needed new tires on my Toyota Sienna Van. AAA is a few blocks from work so was the most practical choice. Called Monday said they would have tires Tuesday. The only additional work was an alignment. What a great choice using AAA! Even at 260,000 miles the van feels like it is riding on air. The alignment got rid of lane drift and the tires removed the vibration at 70MPH. I dropped car off at 8AM and it was done by 1:00. AAA my new place for dependable tire service!!!!!! Was so impressed I called them personally to let them know what an awesome job the technician did.
