Fantastic experience: My recent trip to Ireland organized by First Discount Travel was phenomenal! From start to finish, their service was top-notch and exceeded all my expectations. The booking process was seamless and straightforward. Holly was knowledgeable and helpful by providing must-see attractions and local customs. The itinerary was well-planned, covering all the major highlights of Ireland. We visited Dublin, Cork, Killarney, and Galway. The accommodations were excellent with charming hotels and luxurious hotels (Glenlo Abbey & Ashford Castle), each place was clean, comfortable, and centrally located, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. The guided car tour was informative and engaging. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge and had a great sense of humor. He shared fascinating stories about Ireland’s history, culture, and folklore, which made the experience even more enriching. Fantastic experience: First Discount Travel was the best travel decision I have ever made! My husband and I wanted to take a big trip for our honeymoon and Jess helped us narrow down our options and choose Athens, Mykonos, and Rome. Even when our flights got cancelled due to weather we were able to talk to the owner Jerry and find a way to Athens without totally derailing our itinerary. We can't wait to use First Discount Travel for our next trip!

Fantastic experience: I rarely leave reviews. If I do it is because I feel passionate about my reason in doing so. In this case I was asked to and I couldn’t say no - because Brandee is fantastic!! We randomly called First Discount Travel strictly by looking at reviews online and deciding this place seems good. That didn’t mean we were going to do business with them but we were willing to check them out. Brandee was the person we spoke to over the phone to start. We told her we wanted to take a very nice 25th Wedding Anniversary Trip but we can’t decide where to go or what to do exactly. She asked us what we think we would like to do for fun on this trip, we told her and she said “I have the place for you!” We met with her later that same morning, we had the opportunity to also speak with one of the owners, who was also very kind and helpful. By the time we walked out the door, we had placed a deposit down on a 11 day trip to Costa Rica! But that was just where her experience as a travel agent began. She walked us through every single aspect of planning the details of our trip and was always available to help and answer questions and she made sure everything was as we wanted it to be, to the best of her ability. We had the most amazing trip of a lifetime to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we owe it all to Brandee and First Discount Travel! We highly recommend them! They are fantastic and we definitely plan to book more trips through them in the future!

Fantastic experience: I booked our honeymoon to the French polynesia a year before our wedding and when it came time we were so excited for our travel! Jess Milano was absolutely amazing and planned out perfect honeymoon. When it came time to travel unfortunately flights were cancelled but first discount travel did everything they could to fix our issue with our flights and made everything so easy! We will be booking our next trip through them and cannot wait! The whole team is awesome and Jess is the best!

My wife & I went to Punta Cana for our honeymoon and went through FDT to plan it. Fantastic experience: I’ve used FDT many times over the years. My recent trip to Dubai with a girlfriend was exceptional. Jennifer went above and beyond with every detail. Fantastic experience: We had an amazing experience using First Discount Travel for our Honeymoon. My wife and I had never been to an all-inclusive and we were struggling to find help with the booking process. We we're given Jerry Katz contact from First Discount travel and we're able to schedule an in-person meeting (which I recommend) where we got to sit with Jerry and discuss what we were looking for in a honeymoon. My wife and I wanted to stay oceanfront, with a beautiful view of the ocean as well as a comfortable, modern, updated room with a private pool option. We wanted a resort that was going to offer the relaxation we were looking for as well as giving us an option of participating in excursions and water sports. Jerry sat with us for close to an hour shuffling through different resorts, photos from his personal experiences and allowing us to really pick what was the best option for us! We decided to choose Oyster Bay, Jamaica and WOW are we ever so glad we did. The resort PERFECT and the staff treated us so kindly from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Jerry had recommended we choose the Excellence rewards and this just added to the amazing time we had. I could go on and on about the food, night life and our excursions but none of this would've been made possible without the help from Jerry and First Discount Travel. Our communication from Jerry was top notch from the moment we met with him up until the time he asked how are trip was in summarization. We definitely will be using them again when choosing to travel.

Fantastic experience: We had an incredible trip to Cabo with our kids (ages 15-21). Jess Milano was so amazing to work with. She gave us some great trip options and then planned our trip down to the last detail. She was also able to get us into our rooms in Cabo early so that we could start the fun as soon as we arrived. Jess gave us some great excursion ideas - we snorkeled, rented ATV’s and did a deep sea fishing trip. The highlight was catching an 8 foot striped marlin! The boys brought some filets back to the resort and one of the restaurant managers made ceviche for us for dinner! We are looking forward to using First Discount Travel for our next vacation!

My husband and I got married/honeymooned about a year ago at Live Aqua in Punta Cana and it was magical! We have recommended all of our engaged friends to go to Brandee, as she made the honeymoon planning simple and seamless. We can’t wait to plan another trip soon!

Fantastic experience: Holly Jenkins has been our travel agent for several years! She has sent us on many spectacular trips. We have gone to all-inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Jamaica (3 times!). Holly has also booked us on cruises to Hawaii, Canada & New England, Mexico & Eastern Caribbean. Holly is absolutely wonderful to work with. She understands what we enjoy doing and always gets us the best "vacation packages" while staying within our budget. She is always available to answer the wide variety of questions we have! Our most recent trip included 3 other couples so there were a lot of questions from a lot of people. She is very friendly and super easy to work with. She's always just a phone call away - even when we are traveling. One time we arrived in Miami the night before a cruise only to find that our hotel reservation had been canceled. One phone call to Holly and she managed to get us a room in the hotel which we were told was sold out! She told us about Club Mobay in Jamaica (similar to Delta Crown Room) and this really came in handy last week when our flight back to the States was delayed several hours. We had much better accommodations than we would have had sitting at a crowded gate in the airport. We also paid a small upcharge for a VIP package that got us a personal escort through immigration and customs. This saved a ton of time and aggravation. We would never have known about these things if we had tried to plan the trip ourselves. She even called us when we got back home to see how everything went. We will DEFINITELY be working with Holly in the planning of any future trips. We just got back from Jamaica less than a week ago and we are already thinking about where we want to go next. First Discount Travel and Holly are absolutely the best! We are so impressed with Holly's work that we have recommended her to several people!

Fantastic experience: We shopped around for an agent to help us plan our anniversary trip to Spain and, of them all, we chose Jennifer. We’re so glad we did. She was incredible! She listened carefully to our goals and then drew on her vast experience to present us excellent options; she was like a match-maker! At every turn on our trip her guidance and attention to detail were felt. We had a personalized museum tours with an engaging, English-speaking art professor, saw the best flamenco show in the country, experienced spectacular spanish dishes, discovered Tinto de Verano, avoided embarrassing tourist pitfalls and the hotel staff was prepped to treat us like VIPs— they even delivered a bottle of Cava to our room on our anniversary! All for the same cost we’d paid if we had done it ourselves. We would do this trip again in a heartbeat! When we start planning next year’s trip our first call will be to Jennifer, for sure!

Fantastic experience: Holly gave my family and I such a wonderful experience for our first time traveling to Cancun! She’s such a delight in and of herself but she made traveling to Cancun so easy and carefree. We even had an unfortunate medical event happen while down there but Holly reminded us of insurance we bought and what it can cover and it was all covered! If it wasn’t for her mentioning that, we would have paid all of it out of pocket. I enjoyed working with her and plan on using her intelligence once again when we’re ready for Disney World ❤️

This was my first time using a travel agent and I wasn't sure what to expect, but Brandee explained and went over EVERYTHING with me in regards to my trip. Fantastic experience: This was our first time using First Discount Travel. We had originally tried to use an agency that a friend had recommended but we were disappointed in their lack of communication, recommendations and follow up. It was almost as if they DIDN’T want to work with us. My husband did a quick search of travel agencies nearby and called FDT. Candice answered the phone and immediately handled all of our needs. We discussed our parameters - cost, dates, likes, dislikes, etc. - and within a couple of hours she emailed over 7 or 8 viable recommendations. We ended up choosing Xcaret Arte, which was a fabulous, funky and amazing resort. We could not have been happier with the accommodations, staff, food, resort, activities, etc. I wrote a very detailed review on TripAdvisor and will share here, if anyone is interested. Prior to our trip, Candice was in contact, reminding us of everything we’d need. This resort also requires reservations at some of the restaurants, which is much easier handled prior to arrival. Candice handled all of these. We also were assured that FDT would be available the entire time we were away, to help us with any questions or problems that might arise. None did, but it was a nice added layer of comfort for us. Couldn’t recommend Candice at FDT, or Xcaret Arte more! Happy Travels!

We worked with Kelli Garcia, and she was so helpful in helping us settle on a location (St. Lucia) and resort (Sandals Regency La Toc-- highly recommend!!!). We had never worked with a travel agent before, and now I dont think we will ever not use one again! Kelli made everything so easy for us, and we truly never once worried about our honeymoon in the midst of wedding planning since she was so on top of it. We ended up loving our trip and experience so much that we actually booked a return trip while at our resort, and then transferred it to Kelli to be our travel agent once more. We had a fantastic trip, and owe the success to planning, recommendations, lodging, flights, etc. from our friends at First Discount Travel. Candice did the legwork, booking and recommending great properties, handling our pre-booked excursions, and keeping us in the loop in real time as appropriate check-ins, and trips were needed for confirmation, etc. It is easily noticeable when talking with Candice that she has firsthand knowledge of every aspect of the islands there, where to stay, what to see, do, etc. If you want a great and successful trip, no matter your destination. Give Candice, Jerry, and all the other great folks at First Discount Travel a call. They've helped our family travel now for close to 30 years.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend First Discount Travel enough. In a stressful time of planning our wedding, we had kind of put our honeymoon planning aside until we realized it was starting to become time to actually book a trip. As soon as we spoke with Jess from First Discount Travel, she listened to our requests and budget, and within a couple days proposed a few ideas for our honeymoon. Not only did we get the honeymoon of a lifetime in paradise, but we also got it planned stress free. We never had to worry about the additional stress of booking hotels, flights, or excursions because this was all done on the back end. All we had to worry about was showing up! Please do yourself a favor and use First Discount Travel for your honeymoon and other trips. You will thank yourself later.

Fantastic experience: We couldn't have asked for more. This was our first time working with First Discount Travel & I inquired about All Inclusive resorts (which was new for us). Brandee quickly followed up to an email I sent. We set up an appt & she took the time to find out about past travels and with this info she offered several suggestions. We easily decided on a place & she booked everything, and continued to reach out to see if we had any questions, gave us a list of needed documents we needed to have, set up transportation... I can go on and on. She took all the guesswork out & that enabled us to enjoy our trip. Brandee is such a joy to work with and everyone in the office is equally as welcoming.

She is incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable, especially about the Caribbean. She does a great job checking in throughout the planning process and following up after the trip, and helped us change our flights last minute. We typically have a lot of questions for her, and she always has the answers or finds them for us. This was especially needed with all of the various Covid restrictions. She’s helped us with another trip since the honeymoon, and was just as awesome. She has definitely become our go-to agent and we highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: My new husband and I recently went on our honeymoon to Halcyon Sandals in St. Lucia and it was the most relaxing trip we've ever taken! It was so nice to unplug and spend uninterrupted quality time together as newlyweds while never once lifting a finger! Jess Milano helped us narrow down our top destinations and helped us work through which vacation spot would fit us best! She was so patient and kind even when we were slow to respond to her emails. Her genuine excitement for our vacation made us even more excited to take our trip! She has such a wealth of knowledge when it comes to picking the perfect location. All of her advice was extremely valuable to us and prepared us for departure! She also sent us the necessary government forms that we would need to enter the country, which was great because we had it printed and filled out before even stepping foot on the plane. This helped us beat the line at customs, because we were already good to go! I felt so prepared and relaxed on what is normally a frantic and stressful process. Overall Jess was a big part of what made planning our honeymoon stress free and quite frankly, perfect! TL;DR Ask for Jess Milano to plan your next trip!!

Holly masterfully set up our trip to Ireland this past October... she completely nailed it setting up flights, hotels & tours .... she really poured her heart into the process from start to finish!! Even though we live on the West Coast, the distance felt like a 2 block walk to her office. I would not hesitate to use First Discount Travel for future trips!!

Fantastic experience: My friends and I used Deanna for our trip to Costa Mujeres, Mexico and could not have had a better experience. Fantastic experience: We used Kelli Garcia, from First Discount Travel to plan our 10 year Anniversary trip. She was so helpful in helping us pick our destination. We ended up choosing Costa Rica!!! The resorts she recommended were absolutely beautiful. She helped with everything, even helped make sure that we got our passports after months of waiting for them. It was so nice to not have to worry about anything, because she took care of everything. We decided we wanted to change one of our excursions while we were on our trip and I called her and she helped us get it changed. Will definitely be using her and first discount travel again.

Fantastic experience: My wife Nancy and I decided to take our first cruise. We asked close friends with multiple cruises under their belts for a recommendation. They referred us to Holly Jenkins at First Discount Travel in Cincinnati, Ohio. Holly turned a fairly complex buying process into a simple set of easy steps. Her on ship recommendations were spot on. Holly also took care of getting us from our home to the pier and back again. She was very available to answer questions and always did what she said she would do. We will certainly use her again and will unconditionally recommend her to your attention.

Negative experience: I usually don't write reviews, I find that they can be one sided and a bit unfair to the company but I am making an exception simply because several weeks later this still irks me, I would love a response from First Discount Travel. I called up First Discount sometime in late June and got a woman on the phone whose name I don't recall( I really wish I could remember her name) I Told her that I wished to book a group trip to the DR in August, she told me that not only was the DR completely booked up but the entire Caribbean was as well and that in the future I should book 6 to 9 months in advance. I hung up the phone very disappointed, I didn't really buy what I was told so I gave a call to Loveland and Sea Travel agency and spoke to Beth, she said NOTHING about the DR or the Caribbean being book up and went right to work putting together several packages for me, I also called up Delta Vacations as well to see what they had to offer, again there was no talk of everything being booked up . We ended up booking through Delta Vacations for the dates we requested at the resort of our choice. Still don't understand why that woman from First Discount Travel told me that without putting forth any effort.

Fantastic experience: Our family has never used a travel agent before so I wasn't sure how the process works and knew I was going to have a million questions. Brandee and Deanna were/are absolutely AMAZING! They were so attentive to what we were looking for from out vacation and helped us pick the perfect resort! All my questions were answer very promptly. Fantastic experience: My brother had highly recommended Holly @ FDT for a DisneyWorld vacation, and I understand why! She knew just what to choose for us! It was so nice to not have to figure out the flights! The Disney resort she chose was perfect for us! Having her handle our park tickets and reservations was SO helpful. Most importantly, her expertise, recommendations and explanations of how everything Disney works was priceless! She made meal reservations FOR us (with our consent!) when we dragged our feet because we had NO IDEA, and we loved her selections! We'd never been to a Rainforest Cafe before, and how cool was that! We will definitely contact Holly @ FDT again for future travel plans, and have already recommended her to others. 12/27/2024: I wanted to update my review after returning from our 2nd stellar trip organized by Holly @ FDT! I called her for help -- we wanted a Caribbean all-inclusive experience but had never travelled outside the US! We had no idea what we wanted. I think we were a challenging party as 2 non-drinkers bringing our 21-yr-old son who was ready to party! Holly asked questions about our likes/dislikes/interests/budget, etc and recommended the Hyatt Zilara in Cancun. Everything was perfect from flights to transportation to the choice of resort. Holly had prepped us on all the need-to-knows as inexperienced travellers and we were better-prepared than many other travellers we encountered (regarding transportation, taxes, tipping, and more!). We will definitely be booking with Holly again & can't recommend her enough!

She listened very carefully to our needs and desires for a trip to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. She very quickly turned around the information we requested while we considered a number of all-inclusive resort destinations. We decided on the Iberostar Grand Paraiso, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Kelli was on top of everything. She provided excellent information on the resort itself; what to expect regarding each point of our trip; how to handle problems/issues before, during and after our trip and important information on how to navigate important issues like travel insurance and Covid protocols and requirements for returning to the United States. I give Kelli and First Discount Travel very high marks in knowledge, personality, preparation and follow up. I would highly recommend Kelli.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I worked with First Discount Travel to plan our recent honeymoon to Disneyworld. Since it had been several years since we visited and wanting to insure the process was a stress-free as possible, we used a travel agency for the first time ever and I'm so very happy we did. FDT in general, and Holly specifically, made the process extremely easy! Holly is an expert in all things Disney and helped ensure every detail was planned out in advance and also shared tons of tips and secrets to make sure we were able to see and do everything we wanted to while on our trip. Without her help there's no way we would've been able to do half the things we did. As an avid Star Wars fan, I'm forever thankful to Holly for helping me lock in my lightsaber building time and her tips directly led to us being able to ride Rise of the Resistance without having to wait 2.5 hours. Considering everything FDT and Holly did for us, I would've gladly paid for all of their help and kind words but if you're thinking of going to Disney specifically I can't recommend them enough; they're partnered with Disney itself so planning our wonderful experience cost us nothing beyond the cost of the trip itself. I highly recommend FDT if you're ever considering using a travel agent and we'll definitely be doing so for our future trips.

Fantastic experience: Our group of 16 has used First Discount for several years both for a large group adult only trip and smaller family trips. Jerry and his staff go above and beyond to make sure your travel experience is seamless. He is very good at getting to know your preferences/budget and suggesting places that exceed expectations. He knows the ins and outs of what to do to get in/out of the country, is persistent in working with the hotel staff on things like dinner reservations and ensuring our rooms are aligned with our preferences. We appreciate the call prior to our trips making sure we know all we need to know. The transportation process to/from the hotel was seamless and even when our flight was canceled, Jerry took over making sure our flights were rebooked and transportation changed which allowed us to relax on the beach instead of dealing with these details on our last day of vacation. There is an emergency email which we used prior to our trip when our flights were canceled fairly late the night before leaving and they were very quick to respond and resolve the problem. First Discount Travel is our first choice for the most relaxing enjoyable travel experience!

We weren't sure about where we wanted to go but Brandee took down our interests and showed us numerous locations where she thought we might enjoy. Brandee has firsthand experience with many of the resorts and locations that she showed us, so it was nice to know that the company tries locations before recommending them to others. Brandee had so much knowledge of the offerings of individual resorts that she made it easy to choose where we wanted to go! Brandee recommended the travel insurance to us when we first booked, and we are so glad we took it because we ended up having to postpone our honeymoon (and wedding) a whole year due to the pandemic. She even helped us plan a small getaway for our original wedding date so that we weren't home sitting around thinking about how we were supposed to be married that weekend.
