Negative experience: I had a rusted out break line that ran the length of my care that need to be replaced. The process requires about $30 in brush nickel tube, a wrench to bend it, and then you replace the 2 lines with come labor. Given it takes about 4 hours it should cost around $500. THESE GOONS WANTED $3600. Do not let these criminals touch your car. Go to literally anywhere else. Edit: took my car down the street and got the work done perfectly for $550. These people are the literal worst. Edit 2: You're not entitled to my email. You have zero purpose to communicate with me "securely" and the only thing you should walk away from this interaction with is shame and embarrassment. Edit 3: For anyone confused by edit 2, that was in response to a reply, they have since deleted, requesting I give them an email so that they could "communicate securely". Whatever the hell that means...

Negative experience: I Made an appointment for a basic oil change 5 days in advance for 10am, I explained that I work right across the street and was told to drop it off early and they may be able to get it in earlier than my appt. I wasn’t worried about getting it done early I just need the car back by 2:30-3:00pm and they said that was no problem. I dropped the car off at 8:30 the day of my appt the advisor said that it would be early afternoon possibly by lunch. I again stated I am right across the street and anything by 3pm would be perfect. I hadn’t heard anything and could still see the car exactly where I parked it at 12:30. Still no call or vehicle movement at 1:30. I called and was told it was the next one in line. At 2:30 still no call and the car still was parked where I left it. I walked back to the shop asked for my keys and was told it wasn’t complete where I said it wasn’t even started. I was given the keys back without an apology or any attempt at making the situation better. As a long tenured automotive industry employee that’s not how business is conducted. I don’t recommend going here

Fantastic experience: I would like to preface this review by stating that a place I used to take my car to now has new ownership and did not even address why I took my car there in the first place (exhaust system went to poop)... so this was an emergency repair and it went smoothly and swiftly. My point of contact at this AAA was a gentleman named Gary and he was a fantastic help. My entire exhaust system had gone to crap and needed to be replaced, including the catalytic converter, because of damage done by the previous auto repair shop. Upon arrival on May 16th, I was not only given a detailed explanation of what needed to be done, but a tour of my car's undercarriage to show why parts needed to be replaced. I set up an appoint for May 21st because all the parts would be in by then. I had a 10am appointment and they were all ready for me... Gary said it would take about 2-2 1/2 hours to complete. And like clockwork, it was completed in just over two hours. They gave me a tour again to show what they did and it was all very reasonably priced, too! Gary and the other gentleman who did the repairs were kind, thorough, and super nice. Overall, a great experience and I am happy to have my car running smoothly and much quieter now! Kudos all around.

Positive experience: Had a very old car taken there for repairs that turned out to be wiring . They said it would need to go to a dealer. We decided it was too old to spend money on wiring so they helped us to dispose of it.

Fantastic experience: I recently signed up for AAA when my car broke down on the interstate. The service center that took my call, helped me get a tow and kept me updated on the status and location of the tow truck before it came to me. Since I was in an unsafe area on the highway, they made my pick-up a priority. I dropped my car off on Sunday and the next day, Glen called me with a full diagnostic report on my car. Not only did he provide me with the details of what was wrong with my car, he also gave me recommendations for services I might want to look into for the future. AAA was incredibly helpful and I felt like I was being taken care of instead of taken advantage of, like I have felt many other times. I plan to continue bringing my business to AAA.

Fantastic experience: I made an appointment here and got all 4 of my tires replaced on my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee here, including balancing and alignment. I Also got an oil change while I was at it.. I'm a AAA member so I got some discounts.. good ones! My first time here so I was hoping for the best. The service manager kept me informed of everthing the technician doing every step of the way, and their time management was spot on! ...I felt like this was my spot... They do good work. My experience was a very positive one. I will most certainly be a regular here. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Overpriced and gave me COVID. Got towed there for a flat tire with the promise of a AAA discount. The tire was full price (discount was $3) and still $170. The woman doing membership at the front desk was clearly very sick and gross with no mask on while coughing and sneezing everywhere and not even trying to cover her mouth. 5 days later now I'm COVID positive and missing work and losing even more money

Negative experience: This place is a joke. Walked in for customer service and got the exact opposite. Glen was no help at all gave us the run around. Instead of finding a solution I felt as though he didn't want to do his job because it was an hour before closing. I would rather sit on hold with Comcast and deal with their customer service.

Negative experience: Last service I had done here was mount and balance two tires. It took about 3 hours on a wait, and I dont mean they were busy and I waited some time before my vehicle went in. I waited about 3 hours in the waiting room with my vehicle on the lift being worked on for two tires. When they were done the balance wasnt right, no way I was taking it back for another 3 hour wait.

Negative experience: I've experienced very poor services at this location, on more than one occasion. I had 2 of my vehicles towed there via AAA tow service who recommended them. and Both times, They were unable to assist at All. They kept saying there is nothing they can do, but once my vehicles were towed to other mechanics, I was taken care of with Promptness. Mr Gary got really nasty with my husband, and refused to do just the simple work of replacing the battery to begin with. I will NOT take anything to them again, regardless of the discount offered via AAA, which is why I went there at first...Very dissatisfied with Non service and rude customer service.

Fantastic experience: I thought about how to start this review and tbh I just have to say it. About a month ago I was given a car that needed work done to it. I haven’t drove a car in 8 months. I called this location because it was close to the house. I’m a single mom and was out of work asking every one for help. Well I struggled on my own but not completely. This location at Glen Burnie has a guy in the auto shop name Gary. Gary is beyond a beautiful soul and my guardian angle. He work with me far as getting things done on the car that was most important he didn’t lie to me or with hold info that could Potentially be dangerous. I know it was times he heard my voice crack of sadness but I did my best to be strong because of Gary he even calls to literally check in on you to make sure you okay and to let you know that your car is doing well also. It’s so much I really want to say about this guy I’m truly grateful happy that I’m able to take my daughter to school and look for a new job. Thank you Gary and may you have many blessings. Thank you for being a friend a man of god and understanding me and listening. this is forever my first stop to anything that need to be done behind that wheel. Also my daughter said thank you Gary❤️ AAA is lucky to have that man he is truly a blessing to my family.

Negative experience: I took my 1993 Dodge Stealth to this location for an oil change. I did not have any problems with my vehicle prior to this appointment. After waiting almost 2 hours I was informed that they could not change the oil because my oil plug was stripped. I filed a complaint with management and AAA corporate and they claimed it was stripped before they put it on the lift. I've had this vehicle for 30 years and I've never had a problem. There was no oil leak or stripped plug before they touched my car. They have refused to take care of or work with me. Do not take your car to this location for any reason. They are very dishonest.

Fantastic experience: Went here to get my international driver's permit. Everyone I dealt with was supremely helpful and friendly. I was in and out in maybe 20 minutes and even the pic they took of me for the permit isn't monstrous. About 12 bucks for the pic, 20 for the app fee. No complaints.

Fantastic experience: The Glen Burnie store isn't the closest to me but it is definitely the most customer-focused, helpful, efficient and clean AAA facility. Well worth the extra 10 minute drive! Nicole greeted me as I entered, went to her terminal and filled my request within 5 or 6 minutes -- including doing all of the paperwork to transfer dollars to British Pounds for an upcoming trip. The next day, she called and said my currency was in! WOW. I've waited up to a week at banks - and there's no fee if you change a large amount. This isn't my first visit and won't be my last. I highly recommend this team!

Positive experience: If you don't have AAA membership I highly recommend it. I like this location. My premier membership gives me access to great discounts on fluid and other services for my vehicle. I would also recommend calling ahead and setting an appointment. They have a courtesy shuttle available as well. Their membership gives you access to great discounts at other stores like Pearl Vision, Payless, Hertz, Penske, NAPA, and many more. They have a large selection of maps and travel books available for free to members or a fee for nonmembers. I wouldn't recommend their DIP program. They seemed very disorganized. You also have to basically stand and take the test because there is no testing area. I passed so it's all good, but I wouldn't take it here again.

Positive experience: That great easy to find there and not far from home

Negative experience: I thought that this being a large, AAA affiliated shop would mean they would take their work somewhat seriously. Boy was I wrong… In January my timing belt snapped, they did a very minimal job fixing it, leaving a bunch of damaged parts behind in the engine bay and still charging me an arm and a leg for a “fix” that lasted about two months. My car then broke down again due to carbon buildup in the engine, it needed to be flushed. I had it towed back to this same shop in the middle of the night. Took them nearly a week to get to it, then when they finally did they completely botched the engine flush. They didn’t follow the steps properly, skipping the step where they were supposed to let it idle for a little while before draining, replacing fluids, and giving it back to me. So it broke down with the SAME issue about 6 minutes into trying to drive it home. I called and they were rude and belligerent about it, clearly not believing it was their fault until I brought the car right back and asked them to look over it. They were at least very apologetic when they realized just how badly they had messed up, and proceeded to fix it properly. But by this point the damage to their shop’s and their organization’s reputation in my eyes was permanent. I no longer labor under the delusion that there is ANYTHING special about AAA’s service, and will not be renewing my 20-year membership. They’ll leverage their reputation to charge you more for lower quality work than your average independent mechanic (after this all happened I took my car in to someone else to check it out, they were absolutely mortified at AAA’s shoddy work). I also haven’t seen an ACTUAL AAA tow truck in years, now it’s all third party towing companies that are very loosely affiliated with AAA and could have ANY random towing equipment of ANY quality. And in my experience have also largely been rude and in a huge rush to be done with you. And I will absolutely NEVER bring a car back to this particular shop. They practice the exact same dishonest, predatory tactics as many other smaller shops. Nobody cares if the job is done right. They’re just looking to do the ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM and try to find a way to justify squeezing the ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM amount of money from you for it. It’s genuinely disgusting. And my experience is not standalone. I’ve relied on this shop a variety of times over the years and always kind of felt like they were a little dishonest about what they were charging me for, but this latest experience was shockingly bad enough to wake me up. CUSTOMERS BE WARNED, DO NOT COME HERE

Positive experience: Finally got waited on after standing in line 20min to PAY home Owners insurance. I do not mind waiting to PAY if their busyyy, but I waited 20min when several People were behind the desk just sitting at the computer. One Representative I asked can you please take my pymt? Rep- No, he takes pymt I can help you if you want an oil change or work done on your car; pymt you have to wait until he is off the phone. Me- Wow! Really when he is on the phone talking to someone about bringing their vehicle in for servicing. So why you cannot take money for company? Rep- my computer NOT set up for that. Me- Wow! So for that reason 3 stars and that's being nicer than I should. No reason to Avoid or refuse insurance renewal fee.

Negative experience: Our van was towed here after getting a flat on the bw parkway. To replace the tire they provided an estimate of nearly $400 including $100 for labor. I have never seen a shop charge for labor to change literally a single tire. They also did not even have the tire available and it would have been several days to get it. We had it towed to a tire shop across the street and they got us a new tire for $72. Truly absurd experience here.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my ‘03 Saturn here since they took over the old Saturn dealership and always have a good experience. Gary got me an appointment for my rear brakes and a steering column issue during a busy time of the year which I absolutely appreciate. The job was done quickly over a holiday weekend and done well for what I considered a more than reasonable price for both jobs. Especially considering how hard tracking down parts can be in general for a vehicle no longer produced. After my regular mechanic closed during covid AAA at this location has been a lifesaver for someone driving an older model like me. I wrench my own vehicle when I can but when the job is too big I always come here to get it done well.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Demetrius! They were able to fit me in without an appointment. Thought I was going to be without my van for several days but Demetrius came through for me and I was able to pick up my van several hours after I dropped it off. Negative experience: I have been here several times since I have premium AAA. They did not fix the battery or nail in the tire. I went to Pep Boys. They also did not tag and title my car so I went to a tshirt place on Ritchie highway that did.

Fantastic experience: Had a flat tire and had an amazing experience dealing with AAA. They towed my vehicle to the shop within 40 minutes and did a phenomenal job fixing my tire. However, Gary in particular was the highlight. He was friendly, respectful, bubbly, knowledgeable and super personable. I would honestly return just for his customer service.

Fantastic experience: The Philadelphia AAA car care centers refused to honor my warranty and service my truck with larger wheels due to "COVID limitations", despite me getting the work done there in Dec 2019. However, Glenn was amazing. He remembered my vehicle from a year and a half ago when I lived in Baltimore. Tried to get Philly to do the work, but then just had me get the truck sent down there. He had me fixed up in 2 days and even let me know of an oil problem that 'the other guys' didn't even notice. 10/10 would go there again.

Negative experience: They literally lied to me. I recently lost my job and I was trying to do my own oil change but they over tightened my oil filter for my 2014 Corolla the last time they did the oil change and it was impossible to get off. I called them to see if they could just remove my oil filter and Glen claimed he can't do that becuase all the oil would come out. That is a complete lie ! All they want is money. Will never take my cars there ever again!

Fantastic experience: love this place, I walked in and was able to get my oil changed in less than a half hour with no appointment !!! I've been having my truck & car service here for years, and its always been 5-star service at the Glen Burnie shop location.

Negative experience: I was quoted $1115.11 for a job that only cost me $300. I will give Glen kudos for professionalism on the phone, but the price was ridiculous! Just because I am female, doesnt mean I will fall for the ripoff! I only used them for the free battery and free diagnostic offered by AAA premium, which is well worth the price.
