Fantastic experience: This was so far my favorite trip I have taken with Trova Trip. Everything from organization of the trip to my group was wonderful. I am honesty so happy and can’t wait to plan another trip soon .

Fantastic experience: I went to Thailand for a week with a local guide and a friend of mine who hosted the TrovaTrip. I had such an amazing time. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and Trova had such nice accommodations for everywhere we went. All of the activities were super fun.

Negative experience: Place is a scam, still won't refund over 2k for a cancelation with trip protection, avoid at all costs. My brother Steven has called them multiple times. If they don't refund him soon, I'm going to inquire about legal steps because they're are not honoring their legal requirement to refund my brothers trip.

Fantastic experience: Morocco was truly magical! From the breathtaking scenery to the vibrant culture, every moment felt extraordinary. The hotels perfectly combined comfort with local charm, and our group was such a fun bunch—it made the experience even more special. A huge shoutout to PJ, our incredible host! Her energy, knowledge, and passion for travel were the main reasons I booked this trip, and she exceeded every expectation. Mo, our guide, was equally fantastic—his insights, humour, and warm personality added so much depth to our journey. This was an adventure I’ll cherish forever!

Negative experience: I've gone on 2 trovatrip outings and they both made the top 5 list of worst trips ever. I did the Laura Whaley trips to Morocco and Jordan and man...literally scarring, both of them. For both trips, the hotels were So Bad and often so sketchy. For both trips, we basically had the same meal every meal, every day, and the meal was bad. In Morocco it was a tagine with meat and couscous Every Meal and almost nothing for vegetarians (we all lost about 10 lbs in a week). The meals in Jordan were all the same buffet of unsalted super dry pita bread and 30 smears and meat pastes and hummus. Every. Meal. Both trips, no one escaped their diarrhea fates. No one. The meat eaters fell first though. It's a TrovaTrip tradition to have the first and last hotels to be particularly low rate. In Morocco the first hotel had this huge blue bull statue in the lobby with enormous red testicles. It took the kitchen 5 hours to feed our group the first night. No alcohol lol/cry. The hallways had motion detector fluorescent lights so you were walking down these super dark echoey hallways until the lights eventually slowly flickered on to thoroughly creep you out. Also in Morocco, TrovaTrip overbooked our group and had to split us up between two hotels in the middle of Dades Gorge and the hotel half of the group got stuck in was ugly and uncomfortable. Jordan was so so bad. I can't stress enough how demoralizing it is to eat the same meal that was bad on the first day every day for every meal for the entire trip and pay a lot of money for the honor. All of the hotels were so bad but a special shout-out to the one in Petra with a frigid pool, unlocked rooms where they kept our luggage, stained walls, stained bed covers, and a shower head that bopped up and down due to the water pressure being more than the hinge on the shower head could handle. Honorable Jordan mention: the geodesic dome hotel in the Gobi Desert with the 50 unaltered, starving and filthy cats wandering around their dining area fighting and breeding and begging for food under and on the dinner tables. The same hotel that had a broken A/C in one of our rented units and the girls that were staying there had a room that was 300 degrees for a day until it was fixed. On the last night in Jordan, the second TrovaTrip trip, they had us all out on this special meal that was exactly identical to all of the other meals and I literally stood up from the table and left and cried on my walk back to the horrible hotel for what I knew was going to be another sleepless night on a plastic-wrapped cement mattress. Another influencer that I follow and love has started working with TrovaTrip and even though I trust her taste, there's no WAY I'm giving this company more of my hard earned money to make me miserable with. I also don't believe that this was at all a fluke. I say this b/c one of the silver linings of these trips has been meeting people I now follow on instagram. For the friends of mine that have gone on future and very recent trips (Galapagos, Tanzania), and these ladies are posters so I would see it, there are ZERO posts or stories showing their hotels. If it was a cute hotel, you can trust that there would be posted pics. Don't pay these people to wreck your budget and stress you out, girlfriend. Don't do it.

Fantastic experience: My trip was absolutely incredible! I'd easily give it 5 stars. It was filled with so many amazing memories, the people, from experiencing the vibrant culture to marveling at stunning cathedrals, majestic castles, fascinating museums, and important historical landmarks. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to explore these incredible places. A huge thanks to our tour guides, Sammy and Mike! They were both fantastic and made the experience even more special with their knowledge and insights.

Positive experience: It was cool overall just I missed more the part of sketching as that's why I bought the journey. Don't get me wrong the ecotourism was amazing. We had so much to do everyday and was so fun but a The same time the slots to allocate the sketching were very few. I know galápagos has a lot to visit and the time was short and I do enjoy all of it. Yeah, I understand it was a difficult place to be able to full with more activities.

Fantastic experience: I certainly was not prepared to fall so in love with Bali. We had such an incredible experience thanks to our beloved host Denise, wonderful guide England, and excellent driver Gustu. They went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable, safe, and happy and that we got a really full experience in Bali. England was so knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. We stayed in some amazing hotels and locations, and did so much during our short time there. I want to go back again!

Fantastic experience: My trip to the Galapagos with Brianna Madia was phenomenal! We had an amazing guide, Cesar, who was so knowledgeable and took very good care of the whole group the entire time. Everything was planned perfectly and we all had a great time!

Fantastic experience: It must have been Jesus, because every single person in our group was incredible. Mikey was so intentional with everyone and we got to see some of the most beautiful places and experience the gorgeous Christmas markets together. We made friends so quickly and although it was just a week, some strong friendships were built. We saw and did so much, but never felt rushed or hurried. Having transportation and hotels booked in the price was so convenient. We didn’t have to worry about tickets and accommodations. I am already wanting to do another trip.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience!Trovatrip gets to connect us with amazing hosts like Alfondo Boada, who is SOO down to earth and FUN to travel with! My first trip was to Morocco in November of 2024 and I'm looking forward to another trip in April. Out local Berber guide Ucef was hands down amazing and Morocco was soo incredible! It was like traveling back in time! The bustling medina was full of people and crafts, the artwork in every riad and palace was astounding, and the flora and natural landscapes so colorful. Riding camels in the Sahara and then talking beneath the stars amid never ending red sand dunes was absolutely stunning and unforgettable. Kudos to an excellent itinerary! Team Bandana (our group nickname for trips with Alfonso) is especially great as you develop life long friendships and get to do fun activities together like karaoke, hikes, and local tours with people who share a love for travel. Excited to go on more tours with Fonsi Abroad and Trovatrip! :)

Fantastic experience: Overall, the trip was pretty perfect. Email communication before the trip was very clear- roommates, airport transfers, welcome and farewell dinners. The shuttle driver was delayed in traffic but our host (Karlita) communicated to us when our driver would be at our terminal. I believe everyone was pleased with their roommate they were paired with (I was). Karlita was fantastic communicating what time to be in the lobby for our excursions, and what to bring, and educated us on what and who to tip.

Fantastic experience: This was my first overseas trip and I must say TrovaTrip made this a memorable experience. It was more than I imagined. The hotel was beautiful with the kindest staff who always greeted you with a smile. The itinerary was professionally planned in a timely manner and very thought out. Each day left us anticipating the next. I really appreciated that we got to see the beauty of Thailand and its culture. We also had the privilege of having the most amazing guide, Patcharee (Beer). Beer's kindness and her willingness to share her knowledge of the culture, food and breathtaking scenery made this an even more enjoyable experience. She handled us with such grace that we felt like family. She is truly a gem and the only person I would want as a guide on any trips to Thailand or any other place she may service. Thank you TrovaTrip and team for making my introduction to another side of the world unforgettable. Thank you Felecia LaTour for being an amazing host and choosing this destination.

Fantastic experience: This trip was magical. The group of women Jodi was able to draw on this trip made for a soulful experience. We look forward to the next awe inspiring experience. Also the local guide Giang was excellent! I would highly recommend her to everyone.

Fantastic experience: It was so easy to relax with the activities and transfers planned. Our guide Karlita went above and beyond to make sure everyone had everything they needed. She even offered recommendations if places to go and things to do during our downtime. There was absolutely no stress during this trip. We were all able to relax and enjoy Gabrielle and each other. 10/10

Fantastic experience: We went to the Galapagos on a Marine Biology trip with Mady and it was a once in a lifetime trip that I would absolutely love to do again as many times I can within my lifetime! The group got along so well and Mady and our tour guide Wilson as well as assistants like Benji made the trip even better with their informative and friendly natures! It truly felt like we made a family and home on that journey. So thank you to everyone involved to make this trip happen and allow me to find one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, expand my knowledge, and meet so many amazing people. I will carry the experiences with me forever <3

Fantastic experience: The trip was an excellent adventure. Our tour guide was amazing and highly knowledgeable on everything to do with Egypt - from the past to the present. We experienced a lot of the country and culture, and it made me want to visit again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The trip was amazing! Korea is a beautiful place. Kenji was a great host, MJ unnie was the best! They both had a great balance that helped cater to our needs and curiosities. Both had great energy and I loved how MJ gave us history and information on many things we came across. I also liked being able to chat and meet with the other people beforehand through the group chat.

Fantastic experience: This trip to South Africa was beyond my wildest dreams. From the moment we arrived, our host, Danielle, made us feel like family, and our guide, Dumi and driver Mr. G, made the entire experience unforgettable. From the feeling of being on top of the world at Table Top Mountain to the underwater adventures of shark cage diving and everything in between I will cherish for the rest of my life. The unexpected beauty of our road side stops where an added bonus. All accommodations were clean and employees were very hospitable. There were some bumps along the way and Danielle, Dumi and Mr.G handled them with such professionalism and reassurance. They are truly special people.

Fantastic experience: Trove Trip was amazing. We had a great time in Crete on a mother/daughter trip. The itinerary was perfect, plenty of activities and free time. Guides, transports, hotels, food, wow!

Fantastic experience: I came to Bali to get the best of the island, culture and experiences and Marga and Ash did not disappoint. It really does feel like we did it all and I am walking away with a deeper appreciation of the people here, the way of life and incredible memories and photos. Marga our guide was friendly and caring. His priority was our safety and secondly enjoyment. He was respectful and helped us learn the ways of the Balinese people to be caring and respsetcful as well. Gustu our driver was also awesome. Always on time, helpful and caring. He ensured our safety and our belongings stayed safe while on excursions. He drove very safely in some very remote places our Tours took us. Ash is a phenomenal host. They were very welcoming and accommodating to the group. They found ways to make us all feel included and they were very open to suggestions and ways to hear every ones voice in the situation so that everyone had a good time. They ensured we always had what we needed and were having a good time.

Fantastic experience: I've never done a group holiday before, but this has just opened my eyes to all the possibilities! I've never felt so comfortable and at ease with a group of people in my life. I had two amazing hosts, Chris and Peaches from the 2 be better podcast, and it was great to interact with them in person and make lifelong friends with the group. Trova kept us up to date, had itineraries planned, message functionality, and more all in the app. This made me feel at ease that I could access this whenever needed. As a solo traveller the notifications, packing list, itinerary made me feel at ease ahead of the trip. The sights and trips were just breathtaking and the variety of things to do was great - some more down time would have been appreciated but I understand there's a lot packed in for a reason. Our tour guide Olivia absolutely made the trip golden. We ended up calling her Mom by the end of the trip. She was fun, insightful, and such a beautiful person inside and out. I'd go to all the places with Olivia, just because it was with her. She is an absolute gem and i've never laughed and loved so much that when we did with her. Thank you Trova!

Fantastic experience: Mercedes put together an amazing trip full of culture, tradition and sisterhood. Hulu was an excellent tour guide. So often you can feel like a tourist, but the Bali trip had me feeling immersed in the culture. Mercedes went above and beyond to make sure everybody was having a great time.

Fantastic experience: This was a one of a kind all - experienced vacation with some of my favorite people of all time, everything we did was absolutely amazing and has such an incredible experience each excursion we went on. I'm so grateful for how everything turned out and would 100% recommend every single person whos interested into doing something like this at least once. Chris and Peaches are so down to earth and I couldnt hv imagined going to Thailand with any other group of people. The weather was absolutely perfect the whole trip. The seminars were so personalized and it had the whole group bonding in ways i wouldve never thought, especially with random strangers who turned into life-long friendships. Overall a total one of a kind experience and I wouldnt change a single thing about anything we did or what happened

Positive experience: Chris and Peaches were amazing hosts and our guide Olivia was awesome and very accommodating. The resort was breathtaking and clean and felt very comfortable. The staff at the resort were amazing as well. The excursions were fun for the most part although some of the places were a bit too crowded so we didn't get to experience it to it's full extent. Overall the trip was amazing and a once in a lifetime experience.

Fantastic experience: This trip was beyond my expectations. Mustapha our guide was truly an angel on earth. He was patient and kind and knowledgeable. Also Rome and Cam are just amazing leaders. The way they care and are so attentive to each person on the trip makes the group feel like family and not strangers traveling together. The destination choices were top notch. I honestly can not pick a favorite activity from the trip; from the hot air balloon ride, to the atv's, to the cooking lesson, to the surf lessons and most importantly, THE HAMMAM!!! I felt safe, I learned so much about the Moroccan culture and the trip was just amazing from start to finish. Trova did a Big One with this! Also, NADIA IS TRULY ONE OF A KIND AND I LOVE HER!!! Thank you Trova, Rome and Cam for making dreams come true.

Negative experience: This travel agency refused to refund our money or even transfer funds to another trip. Avoid at all costs!

Fantastic experience: This trip was absolutely amazing. The host (Alicia) was fantastic - she helped bring the group together and planned some events separately to help everyone bond a bit more and be at ease with one another. She also made it so that you didn't feel obligated to do one thing or another and simply made it the trip that fit your style. Our local host, Alex, was also fantastic. He helped ensure that everyone was accounted for and on those days that someone didn't participate in the Trova-planned activity, he ensured they were good with options around the area and answered any questions they had to determine other things to do. When it came to helping arrange other types of transfers for the group, he was readily available and eagerly wanting to ensure everyone got to where they needed accordingly. He was also great with being flexible to the groups needs for shifting transfers or other requests that were within reason for the team. He also assisted one of the girls when she wasn't able to complete the caldera hike ensuring her safety was top of mind.

Fantastic experience: so much fun! michelle was so incredibly nice and the other people on the trip were kind and easy to get along with. our tour guide eric was also very funny and helpful and had so much good energy. one of the best trips of my life

Fantastic experience: Our first time ever booking a trip with Trovatrip and traveling with a host ... We were definitely a bit anxious about how well organized this would be and how well we would get along with everyone. I can absolutely, positively say that we were blown away by amazing this experience was for us! First and foremost, this trip would not have been as successful if not for our guide, OUM! ... I cannot express how grateful we are for OUM's ability to connect with the group, keep us informed, organized and most importantly, ensuring we were having as much FUN as POSSIBLE the entire trip! He ability to juggle the personalities, pivot based on weather and what the group wanted to do and still provide us the expertise and knowledge on everywhere we visited was AMAZING! Lastly, our host, Mary Lou, was 100% genuine and made us feel like long-time friends. By the end of the trip, we all felt like family and are already looking at organizing our next trip together!

Fantastic experience: This was easily one of the best trips I have ever been on. In terms of information provided by Trova Trip, from the preparation guide to the tour guide we had with us, everything was useful and easy to follow. The activities were fun and made us feel really immersed into the culture. I would like to especially emphasize our tour guide, Sureya, was the best tour guide. He truly set the most positive, friendly and fun tone for the trip. He was so kind, thoughtful, knowledgable and patient. The trip would not have been the same without him.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time traveling outside of the US and Canada. To travel with unknown people was scary at first, but it turned into a dream come true. Our tour guide, was phenomenal and knew so much about Greece. He was super helpful in speaking to locals for better understanding and was accommodating in every way. This was our Host's first time hosting and he did everything within his power to accommodate and make things easier for everyone.

Fantastic experience: The trip was everything I had hoped for! Lana was an amazing guide! Her cooking, care, flexibility with the schedule and knowledge of the area was top notch! The group meshed so well together and it was a trip of a lifetime; making new friends and enjoying what Yellowstone has to offer! I plan on traveling with the host Rebecca again in the near future and can't wait!!

Fantastic experience: This trip was truly amazing. My only complaint is that it was not long enough. I say that in jest. What I'm really trying to say is the trip was so good I was not ready to leave Thailand. Our travel agent made sure everything went smoothly. This includes the last minute plans that were not a part of the original itinerary, as well. I loved that she helped people find local events that matched their interests on some of our leisure days. So with that in mind, I believe Dokor, our travel agent went above and beyond expectations making my first trip to Thailand truly special.

Negative experience: I've been attempting to reach out Trova Trip via phone call as well as emails for over the past year as they took my money. I made a payment on a trip I had to cancel. I was advised I could not get the money back but the money could be used towards another trip but it has to be booked by a certain time. I've made calls as well as sent emails to use to get assistance with booking another trip with the money and they ignored either. I want my money. This has been ongoing. Trova Trip are crooks I just attempted to call again. You will not get away with stealing my money. This is a legal matter. I emailed as well.

Negative experience: Is not helpful, overcharging for services and does not provide support. My experience every time is so horrible. I wish my hosts would find different agencies to book trips with.

Fantastic experience: Our host Katie, our guide Heidrun, and TrovaTrip all contributed to a fabulous trip. It was wonderful to be able to sit back and allow the trip to happen without worrying about logistics or where to go next. Thanks to TrovaTrip for pivoting on the spot when needed, making sure our experience was everything we anticipated. I’d trust my life with Heidrun, she was top notch! Fantastic experience: Alaska was wonderful overall! I had never been and it was absolutely beautiful. The two towns we visited, Talkeetna and Seward, were super cute. The jet-boat river tour, glacier/ice field hike, and the glacier/wildlife cruise were my favorite activities.

Fantastic experience: Our trip to Bali was incredible!! There was tons of variety in terms of activities (all pre-planned), the people were amazing, our tour guide was lovely and such a joy to be around. Our host Meredith has an amazing knack for bringing great people together and I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Trova Trip.

Fantastic experience: This was my first group trip with people I had never met, so I was initially a little apprehensive about everything. But Rachel, Lauren and the staff at Trova really helped put my mind at ease. The day by day in-depth itineraries were extremely helpful for me (as a type-A travel planner) to plan out packing and other prep items needed. And having multiple people looking out for you to make sure all the necessary paperwork, was great. The group ended up being so warm and at the end felt like a big family. I'm now such a huge advocate for random group travel :) The hiking portion at times was very difficult, especially with the altitude changes, but I felt so supported no only by the fellow travelers but the hosts through Trova. The hike itself was incredible and I can't imagine experiencing Peru any other way. Machu Picchu was equally spectacular and the guided tour made it seamless to get to (even with the long bus lines) The local guides really were the cherry on top- the most loving and heartwarming people that truly love what they do. Tina is nothing short of an inspiration and such a calming force, taking care of any need you could possibly imagine. Caesar was such a youthful exuberant soul to have around. Victor, you could just tell, loves to tell the history of his country and the people, and he does so with such vigor that draws you in, urging you to want to learn more. Together they were such a wonderful and caring team. Each sharing their own passion that brought such a vibrant life to the whole trip.

Fantastic experience: It was fun getting to meet new people. All of us were from different parts of the globe, which was a shocking and pleasant surprise. I liked the itinerary. Well paced and much better experience than mainstream tours you get at tour fairs, tour agencies, etc. I would recommend my friends for sure.

Fantastic experience: I really appreciated going on a trip that was already planned and booked, it really took the stress away and allowed me to just have a great time with new friends. The itinerary was PACKED which was a lot of fun but also we still had down time to ourselves to take a moment to relax by ourselves if needed.

As a solo traveler, I was particularly grateful for their efforts in creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere, allowing me to forge genuine connections with my fellow adventurers. Our guide, Yuki, deserves endless praise. Her kindness and unwavering dedication ensured everyone felt comfortable and engaged, even in the face of sweltering heat. Yuki's ability to curate unique experiences that resonated with our diverse interests was remarkable. Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved my Trip to Iceland with Trova Trip! Our tour guide Árni Rúnarsson was amazing! He was so much fun and knowledgeable as well as patient. My friends want to book a trip now and I highly recommended requesting Árni when they go to Iceland.

Fantastic experience: If you've ever wanted to go to Alaska, you must do it!! I had the best time on this trip. It was a perfect balance of activities, hikes, chill time and travel distances. I feel we got to see what alaska life is like. The camp sites were a great range of out in the middle of nowhere or close by a town so you could walk in and explore. The views were just breath taking. Activity choices were good as we did hikes, explored a few little towns and 2 boat trips. It was everything I expected of Alaska and more! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Hany was an amazing tour guide! He really took stock of our groups needs and ensured that we had the best time at all the sites. This itinerary hit all the highlights of what I've been dying to see of ancient Egypt as well as introducing me to new areas that I loved.

Fantastic experience: Croatia with Ashlyn was amazing! Croatia was not somewhere I had ever planned on going, but now I want to go back so many times. We had the best tour guide for the duration of the trip who became part of our group so fast and who I know we all miss dearly. There is so much to love about this trip; the clearest water, the old towns, the food, and of course the company made this trip something I will miss and cherish forever. Ashlyn was the best host and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable so quick. Going on a group trip is intimidating but 100% worth it. I wish I could relive this trip 100 times over.

Fantastic experience: This trip was overall a fantastic experience. Our tour guide Yuki was flexible, knowledgeable, and helped make the trip well worth the money. We were able to pack some of the best things Japan had to offer into a week without the stress of having to plan out navigation, reservations, and other additional research. Yuki also went out of her way to help accommodate my food allergies, which took so much of the stress out of figuring out what to eat while in Japan. If all TrovaTrip guides are as good as her, then I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic trip! Everything was well-organized and planned and our guide, Rebecca, was exceptional. She made sure that our meals were robust and healthy, we were all well-informed, and everything was fun and easy-going. My initial concerns about not having any gluten-free options disappeared the first day as she mentioned our gluten-free options and all our meals had excellent gluten-free alternatives. First group trip I ever take that this has been the case. On top of that, our itinerary was fantastic. Thank you. Loved it. Can't wait for my next trip!

Fantastic experience: Our Japan trip was an amazing experience! Our tour guide Yuki Honda was phenomenal in teaching us the culture and with getting around the various cities in Japan. The itinerary was followed along pretty accurately. This trip exceeded my expectations and I would definitely experience it all over again!

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I loved this one in a lifetime experience. Our coordinator Gerard and bus driver Mamad were outstanding. I have been on several other experiences with other companies and by far, these two individuals were more wonderful, knowledgeable, patient, organized, and experienced than any other trip I have ever taken. With their expertise, we reached our destinations in crowded Paris streets with ease despite many construction detours due to the Olympics preparations. Marissa Meyer was beyond amazing. She was easily accessible and generous with her time. For example, one day after touring the city all day, Marissa communicated with the group via the Trova App inviting all of the attendees (most of whom were authors and aspiring novelists) to meet with her in the lobby for an open question and answer session about writing, publishing, brainstorming, and all things writing. How awesome is that?!?!!!!! Marissa is my daughter's favorite author, and as a parent, I could not be more grateful to her for the kind, insightful, interactive, and caring ways she was with my child and ALL of the other attendees. Thank you for making my daughter's dreams come true in such an outstanding setting. Loved it.

Negative experience: THE WORST EXPERIENCE. My sister and I booked a TrovaTrip experience to Bali in May. Less than a month from our departure date, the accommodation advertised on the package we purchased was changed to a terrible hotel in a worse location less and we weren’t even informed. Our host was told it was due to construction work at the original location. We made our host aware of our disappointment and hesitation and her advice was to come along regardless and she was sure the new accommodation would be an equivalent alternative or even better. After arrival, we checked into our room and found a letter from the hotel stating their grounds were under construction for the following month and they apologised for any inconvenience. We literally had tradesman with jackhammers and drop saws outside our room building a new pool deck for the following 7 days stay. We tried calling, emailing and WhatsApp TrovaTrip customer service to inform them to no avail. Our only option was to leave the tour after only 24 hours and find alternative accommodation at our own expense. We issued a formal request for a refund of compensation due to false advertising. What we got was NOT what we booked and paid top-dollar for. Two months later and we have received an email from TrovaTrip saying they will NOT be providing a refund or even partial compensation ($3,500 AUD each). Do not book through this company if you want an incredible overseas experience! We are devastated we fell for false advertising and the customer service (if you can get onto them) simple doesn’t care because they already have your money.

Fantastic experience: This is my second trip Trova. I havs been seriously impressed with both my Costa Rica and Greece trip. Such good choices in hotels and actives. I definitely will go again.

Fantastic experience: This vacation with Trinity x Trova Trip was an absolute dream come true! The tour guide, sights, activities and meals were brilliant. I made unforgettable memories and will keep in contact with all I traveled with. I am beyond grateful for this trip as it was something new for me to experience. I learned a lot about the history of Costa Rica with our very knowledgeable guide, Geovany. Time went by far too quickly so I will have to do something of this caliber again. Overall, I will always remember Costa Rica in summer '24.

Fantastic experience: Our guide, Sana, was incredible! He was so caring and willing to answer all of our questions. He truly became a part of our family! The mix of locations was a great way to see a more authentic experience. The additional staff Sana brought on as drivers or guides were exceptional as well. I would 100% do it again!

Fantastic experience: This was a life changing and magical trip. Many in the group already knew each other and we had some meetings prior to going. Once we arrived, the fun on the excursions and overall camaraderie increased each day. Each resort we stayed in was very nice and the staff was accommodating. I also liked the way you could tailor the excursions depending on times. Our guide, Sana was amazing and I would recommend him for any other group making the journey to Bali.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing trip with TrovaTrip in Portugal (Lisbon/Algarve) thanks to our knowledgeable and friendly guide, Fina, who was more than just a guide, but a friend by the end of the journey. We enjoyed so many diverse experiences and truly feel like there was something for everyone. Many of the girls on our trip commented that they felt empowered to step out of their comfort zones and the array of activities was certainly a key factor of that. We saw the cities we visited by foot, by bus, and by TukTuk and offered so many ways to experience this beautiful country. As a person with neurodivergence, I would caution those with the same that the trip is VERY active with a VERY full itinerary that can lead some to feeling rushed/stressed. Communicate early on with your guide/trip leads if you need additional time so you have options if you become overwhelmed from the pace of the activities in the itinerary. With this being said, I would still certainly be interested in taking another trip with TrovaTrip but would do a better job in the future of communicating my needs up front so accommodations/considerations could be made that avoid inconveniencing the larger group.

Positive experience: Overall the trip was great. The primary issue was the pre-selected food. There were just a few meals included and those were off a preselected menu which was, by in large, terrible. The local guide, Steve Roth, was wonderful. The locations were for the most part great, though a few stops were far too short.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved my hike with Trova Trip. Our host, Chelsea, did a fantastic job of making sure everyone was safe, happy, and cared for. Her personality is so bright and welcoming and her open dialogue was a breath of fresh air. Our trail guide, Phil, was AMAZING. He was attentive, great company, knowledgeable about the locations and well-informed. He was a careful driver and communicated next steps all along the way. Phil was incredibly organized, kept us advised at all times, and adapted to our personalities. I cannot praise his professionalism enough.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING! Best part of being able to have fun is being able to share the experience with others you get along with. Luckily the other travelers (including Jon and Lauren) were all nice. We got to explore so much, were able to split off comfortably and regroup, and had a great guide who listened to our preferences and made the experience extra special

Positive experience: Moses as always is lovely and the best group leader I ever met. Our guide Alejandro was fenomenal and very helpful. Last hotel was under our expectations. But was a great experience overall.

Fantastic experience: Bali, Indonesia was my second TrovaTrip experience and I had the best time again. Our host Alana was brilliant as usual at making everyone feel welcome and comfortable, and our local guide Dharma was amazing and so friendly! I've recently been diagnosed with coeliac disease and was understandably very nervous about the food situation on this trip in a new country. My allergy was taken into consideration by TrovaTrip and they made me feel as comfortable and safe as they could which I really appreciated. I hope I can do another trip soon!

Fantastic experience: It was one of the hardest challenges of my life, the Salkantay Pass, however I feel so proud to have made it over. Our guides, Tina and Victor were amazing and always had energy to keep us going and explaining where to go (though some more accurate distances may well have helped as it was soul destorying finding out that another mile was another 3 miles). My only criticsm is that our day in Machu Picchu felt rushed. We met the wonder of the world in cloud and had to wait until it cleared. As a result, we didn't get to walk around Machu Picchu, and basically left almost straight away so we could catch the train. This felt like a shame really, but I understand why it happened.

Fantastic experience: Our host, Callie, and our local guide, Malcolm were amazing! I've gone on many small group tours with other companies over the years but this TrovaTrip tour was by far the best and I can't wait to go on another one!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked out of the airport in CR until we were dropped off at the airport a week later I was 100% satisfied with our trip planned by Trovatrip. Our guide Fernando and driver Modesto were so knowledgeable, friendly and fun. They made our trip even that much better. Not having to think about where we were going from day to day and we just show up at the bus, how to get there or navigate myself Modesto and Fernando were on top of it all. I felt safe at all times, and the places we visited and our accommodations were perfect.

Negative experience: Be advised, if you have a family emergency or are physically unable to go because you lost your ability to walk due to nerve damage they have no interest in providing you a credit or refunding you for your trip. As I mentioned, to them I was unable to attend the trip I booked because I found out that my grandfather has stage 4 cancer and I needed to visit him as well as my physical condition not being ideal for vacation travel and they stated you need to cancel within 90 days of the scheduled trip. As life has unexpected situations occurring within a 90-day span one would expect a company to have some understanding, but this company is clearly after keeping your money no matter what happens to an individual. Stay clear of this company and its 90-day cancelation policy.

Fantastic experience: This was a really amazing trip, with nearly all the details taken care of--it was amazing to relax and just go along for the ride. Our local tour guide, Allan, was friendly, enthusiastic, and just super knowledgeable during our trips to the national park, waterfall, horseback riding, etc.

Negative experience: I had high hopes for my trip to Greece in 2025, booking with your company for what seemed like a seamless experience. Little did I know that it would turn into a nightmare of unresponsiveness and frustration. I paid a hefty sum of $3,965.00 upfront, feeling reassured by your promise of comprehensive international travel insurance, ensuring a full refund under any circumstances. However, when personal reasons forced me to cancel my trip, the troubles began. Expecting a smooth refund process as per your insurance guarantee, I found myself caught in a loop of incompetence and indifference. TrovaTrips directed me to your designated international travel insurance company, which in turn bounced me back to TrovaTrips, claiming a lack of response to information requests. Attempts to communicate were met with silence or half-hearted efforts. Multiple calls, voicemails, emails, and even chats went unanswered. Three-way calls yielded no results, with TrovaTrips conveniently absent or uninterested in resolving the issue. Despite diligently fulfilling all requested steps and providing the necessary documentation, including repeated pleas to both TrovaTrips and the insurance company, the outcome remained unchanged. A promised full refund remained elusive, lost in the void of TrovaTrips' negligence and incompetence. If you would only honor your commitment and provide the requested information to the insurance company, promptly processing my full refund, my perception of your company would undoubtedly be different. It's not too late to rectify this situation and salvage some semblance of trust and goodwill. However, until then, my experience stands as a cautionary tale for others considering your services.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Peruvian guide (Ernestina), excellent itinerary (Inca sites), excellent food and accommodations, excellent experience with Trova Trip!

Positive experience: This Vietnam trip was very well planned and packed with many activities for the 6 days. Michelle took the time to arrange 1 to 1 and group zoom meeting before the trip, to gather and address our concerns for the trip and provide travel information like packing, local SIM cards, tipping, local custom etc. Michelle's personality is very warm, approachable and fun and easily turn introvert like me and 10 other strangers into a group of friends. Michelle and the group were patient and kind to give me time and space to overcome my introvert-ness. This really helped to get out of my comfort zone and try things which I would typically avoid like eating jelly fish, cycling through Nimh Binh and kayaking in Lan Ha Bay. I would definitely return for the next adventure with PJ!

Fantastic experience: This was the trip of a lifetime! While Eric and Kristie did a wonderful job pulling us together and helping the tour get organized with gear and prep, the real stars of this show were Intrepid in Peru. I want to mention how hard that local Intrepid team worked to help us get over some massive mountain passes, into comfortable camp sites and fed us incredible food. In particular, it is important to note that Ernestina, Vlad, Rosa and Cesar worked tirelessly to keep us organized. They worked some wonders when one of our party had a medical mishap (popped a knee on the high point of the Inca Trail section) and got everyone down the mountain and ON TIME for a train that was awaiting us to get to Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu. I hope that Trova Trip will continue to work with Intrepid--they were the magic that held together a wonderful trip.

Fantastic experience: This trip was awesome! The itinerary provided before the trip was the perfect guide for me to know what to expect. Even though the excursions were at times a little exhausting, they were all well organized and informative. There is so much to see in Egypt that another trip there is my intention. Our guide, Mohamed Ebrahim, was perfect. He was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the country and its history. Mohamed was very accommodating and assisted anyone that wanted to add or replace activities on the itinerary. He was so personable yet professional which created a great connection with our group. I strongly recommend this trip and Mohamed as a guide!!

Fantastic experience: My trip to Korea with TrovaTrip was unforgettable! Joy was hands-down the best guide and I couldn't imagine anyone doing a better job. She was knowledgeable, humorous, accommodating, and such a pleasure to be around. The trip was well planned and organized. I didn't have to think about anything other than showing up everyday. I will definitely look for another TrovaTrip experience.

Fantastic experience: This was an amazing trip! I really enjoyed the experience and by the end of the trip I made a ton of new friends :) For my first trip to Japan the tour operators made my life so much easier (waiting for me at the airport after multiple delayed flights, assisting with ticket purchases, and checking in at the hotel) and eased my anxious thoughts. TrovaTrip's hardworking staff made sure to answer all of my questions before, during, and after the trip. Overall it was an amazing experience and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Negative experience: I'll give Trova two stars just because the group atmosphere provided safety in numbers as a female traveler. Incredibly over priced - I realized only once in SA that I was paying for Trova to contract out ANOTHER travel agency. End of day I was paying for myself, host, Trova, and another third party. No disclosure that most of your trip is spent on a bus. Pretty sure the group size was nearly doubled only after I had sent a deposit. Would have never traveled with 20+ people. They allow the hosts to promise all of these grandiose connections and adventures only for the human connection and activities to fall flat- nothing but tourist traps. Overall, stay far away from this company. Take the time, save the money and get your friends together to plan the trip yourself.

Fantastic experience: Between the two incredible hosts, Christi & Whitney, and an absolutely outstanding guide, Laurens, this trip couldn't have possibly gone any better!! To say the very least, this whole experience was life changing, and I'm so grateful to have met and share new experiences with Christi, Whitney, and Laurens!! This was my first retreat though TrovaTrip, and the bar has been set very high by these beautiful souls.

Negative experience: The Costa Rica trip I went on was AMAZING! Our group LOVED Catalina. I would take this trip if you're curious about Trova. Then I went on the Japan trip. The difference was night and day. I might as well have planned a trip on my own. Japan itself, my host, and the people on the trip were all great and we made the best of the trip; but we faced many issues with our guide and the company. I don't want to go through the laundry list of issues. I will say Trova did (after changing it and then telling us all the wrong location) did select a great hotel, but thats about all they provided that I can speak positively on. I'm not comfortable booking with Trova again if I can't get the same experience each time. I definitely would not book Japan with this company. However if you're adamant about meeting your host and/or traveling with a group of people with common interests, Trova makes that possible. I don't have many friends that have the privilege to afford travel and on my trips I've made several strong friendships.

Fantastic experience: This was one of the best organized group trips I’ve ever been on. The schedule was intense but balanced well with downtime, and we saw so, so much more than I expected. Our local guide, Hani, was among the best I’ve ever met. I would 100 percent go back to Egypt to travel with Annelise and Hani again.

Positive experience: Our host Brandi, our guide Surya, the staff at Arma Resort, Discova trips, and TrovaTrip worked incredibly hard to make sure we had an excellent trip. The itinerary had a beautiful blend of meeting with and supporting local businesses, learning and participating in local culture while learning the language, history, and traditions. They did an amazing job handling different weather changes, schedule changes, and location changes as seamlessly and smoothly as possible. The app needs some improvement (especially if you're not in a place with full strength Wifi/Cellular service) but otherwise it was a great experience.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful trip. From the start where Allan met us at the airport to each outing and finally the airport drop off, it was organized and fun. He was enthusiastic and really knowledgeable. Sarah our leader was friendly and welcoming; I loved the workouts she had planned and the amazing locations she used. Hot springs, spa treatments, hiking, horseback riding, volcanoes, waterfalls - this trip had it all.

The ongoing communication during the trip was also very helpful. Our guide was AMAZING! Laurens was super attentive, listened to what we needed and ensured that all of our needs were met. Fantastic experience: We took a trip to Costa Rica and stayed at the Hacienda Guachepelin. It was amazing. The staff was so nice. It was clean and the food was 99% gluten-free, so a celiac's dream. The tour guide Trova Trip arranged for us was so knowledgeable and nice. I can't wait for my next trip with Trova.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great time on this trip to Thailand. Olivia was a fantastic host. JJ, our guide was absolutely amazing. She was so thoughtful and helpful the entire time. I especially liked that she contacted us before the trip started, so she could answer all our last-minute questions. On the trip, JJ pointed out it was one of the girl's birthdays. She organized getting a cake. She even told the bar across the hotel that we might be there at midnight. We were, and the bar owner brought out a tequila shot for the birthday girl. So thoughtful, JJ went above and beyond. She even helped coordinate a Elephant Sanctuary excursion for some of us on the last morning. I can't say enough great things about JJ. Just an amazing guide. I enjoyed all the activities included on this trip. The cooking class was a highlight. Also, really enjoyed snorkeling and island hopping.

Fantastic experience: Trip to thailand exceeded expectations by a lot. One of the best trips I've ever taken! Cannot wait to do it again. Trovatrip is a truly great company to help coordinate a trip. Highly recommend!
