Negative experience: As a Pinellas County native of 54 years we have been AAA Auto members as long as I can remember. We upgraded to the Premier membership this year and I called at 11 am to have my car towed from my work at Mease Countryside Hospital to the dealership and AAA never came. I made several calls throughout the day and dispatch lied saying there were tow trucks on the way. No one ever came and it’s now almost 12 hours after I have spoken with 4 different people. This is really sad that a company so many people trust have dropped in quality. I will never pay for this horrible service again. I feel sorry for the older people who rely on them to help them when stranded.

Negative experience: Do not waste your money on roadside assistance membership with this company, it is a complete scam. Today I used my membership for the very first time in a dire emergency situation and they did not ever come. My car was in a collision

Fantastic experience: This is a very large AAA office. Has pretty much everything you need. There is no car service center here, but it has everything else. I came for my passport photo. It was fast and easy. Looked like there were several travel agents here to help with booking vacations too, but I didn't walk around to see what everyone was doing. Overall a great experience here.
Negative experience: Palm Harbor, worst telephone etiquette ever! Talk over you, and interrupt then become even more rude and talk down to you when attempting to get clarification. Requested to speak to a supervisor, they disconnected the line. Upon calling back I again asked to speak with a supervisor, where the line rang about 30 times then disconnected. Apparently Jim (unk last) is the supervisor of the employees, so Jim there you go. You may want to start monitoring more closely how your employees are representing or should I say misrepresenting AAA, it’s beyond unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Easiest walk in service available and convenient also. You can purchase theme park tickets in advance to avoid hassle in line and discounts are applied for any available purchase. Great for purchasing gift cards for Christmas as a portion of your money spent gets accredited to your future mbersgip fees. Overall excellent facility
Negative experience: I've been a AAA RV premier loyal customer for over 15 years. NEVER EVER have I been so poorly treated by a company. This is the most disgusting service possible these people took my money for a service they couldn't provide. I'm insulted, feel robbed, & I was left out to dry after paying my fees for 15 years. Disgusted is the nicest word I can think of. My family membership will be canceled along with My RV when the office opens monday
Negative experience: Called for a tow for my car at 11:30am. I didn't hear back from anybody. They didn't get here until 3:30 pm. Outrageous @

Negative experience: I can't believe no one has called me for a time but when I get a text it says 2.5 hour wait. I payed for a tow truck and it arrived within the hour. Not worth the membership to sit and wait two hours
Negative experience: AAA was great as always Pfeiffers the company contracted to them the driver got aggressive after I followed exacted what the (assuming recorded line) told me to do. Which then led him to tried to file false police reports on me? The cop and I had a good laugh then next day Pfeiffers Driver Mark Alan is trying to add me on Facebook playing dumb "do I know you?" Then decided to send a message about the mutuals we share just for me to screenshot it and him try to unsend it. AAA was phenomenal but beware of Mark Alan from Pfeiffers he's a very aggressive unhinge individual who harassed and stalked an AAA member over doing exactly what the lady I set the call up with told me to do. Fantastic experience: We called AAA to discuss a possible trip. Beth got basics about our interests and mentioned there was a seminar in the next week. We listened to the presentation and decided to book. Beth called and clarified several questions we had. She helped us select a cabin and we made a deposit. When we returned home we got an email from her saying she had found some cash we were eligible to receive. Thank you Beth for going beyond expectations.

Negative experience: Waited twi hours for a tow truck from 8:40pm to 10:40pm. Due to no-show of tow truck we called AAA again and we were told it would take another hour. We left the car overnight and called the next morning and have to wait 89 minutes. I hope they come this time!! Pitiful service. You certainly cannot depend on AAA!! Will not renew my membership and will go back to insurance tow services.

Negative experience: I bought Bush Garden Fun Cards at Palm Harbor AAA for my adult son and I. When I got home both vouchers had my name on them. I drove back and asked if he could redeem it at the gate because it had my name on it and the voucher clearly stated that the card is only valid for the name listed on it. The AAA employee asked why I didn't call Bush Gardens for clarification and I replied because I purchased the tickets here and if I needed to change. She definitely let me know how inconvenient it was for her to take the time to clarify this for me. When did kindness, compassion and just decent customer service become so hard to come by.

Negative experience: The information on their site is unfortunately incorrect (e.g. Agent contact info, services, etc.), and when I called to speak with someone - they were extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, and in essence did not want to do any part of their job. Would strongly not recommend.
Positive experience: Prompt service however technician left part of spare tire part hanging below car. Could have really damaged my Rover. Felt the service was done incomplete and in haste...
Fantastic experience: AAA is an excellent insurance company. Recently I had an issue with my line holder and being insured. Donyale was quick to help me and was able to help get my issue resolved quickly and professionally. I could not recommend this place enough.
Negative experience: They lie to customers despite being on recorded lines and will even lie about what was said in recorded phone calls that they review after refusing to let you hear the calls. A lawyer is a must when dealing with this company. Since their supervisors will also lie. And even when they see they are lying won’t correct the lie but instead they will just continue to lie more.

Fantastic experience: They are not what they once were. However, the increased use of GPS has hurt them a lot, mostly the absence of maps but the still have tour books, they help a lot.

Positive experience: Service great & staff patient, but trip tiks are not what they used to be nor could I get them to help me plan a scenic route/ points of interest stops unless I asked specifically. I ended up using my google maps app. Liked having a paper map for reference, but disappointed that more recommendations for sight seeing not available as a service.

Fantastic experience: I went here to get another International Drivers Permit issued. The process was just as easy as it was the year before. There is a short form to fill out, they take your photo, you pay a small fee of $20 and then they fill out your permit, add your photo and give it a few stamps to make it all official. In and out took me about 15 minutes, maybe just 10. Staff were very friendly and interested in my travels and wished me luck as I was leaving.

Fantastic experience: A very busy place!! Get there early if you can! We had decided that maybe it was time to have somebody else plan trip besides my wife( I call her "the tour director") Anyway we were assigned a lovely lady named Lynn who spent the next two hours planning a trans Atlantic cruise with us. It was a great experience!! Would recommend Lynn for a thorough job.

Negative experience: Just spent worst morning possible with totally inept operator who mis directed me to Palm Harbor FL Office. I had a 10;30 appt with an Insurance agent named Christine. Directions that had been previously given to me were dangerously wrong. I use the term Danger because I said more than one I was legally blind and unable to drive on Hwy 19. I wound up twice being directed to a dead end where my only option was to use my cane on a sidewalk parallel to 19 and walk to where your building supposedly was. Another danger, same Operator again misdirected me so that I was forced to drive close to a mile in the wrong direction on Hy 19. I doubt that Christine was ever given my message..Very Upset

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of AAA since 1991. I had the membership with my parents in high school and college, and for another 15 years on my own. I didn’t renew for one year because I didn’t think I needed it with a new car. But I paid for my membership in 1991, with my husband, and we’ve been renewing every year since 1991. AAA is more than road side assistance and towing. It’s about travel discounts, vacation books chock full of information about the places you’re visiting & discounts for area attractions. It’s about cruising, tours, planes and trains. When I got locked out of my car, AAA was there to help. When I needed a tow for a dead battery, they helped me. I’ve used it recently for a trip to Yellowstone, and another trip to NYC. We haven’t used their services for a cruise lately, but when we do, Terri Murphy is who we see. We also got our complimentary passport pictures here when our passports were up for renewal. I think that was with the Premiere membership, tho. We like this location for the quality personnel who staff it. I just renewed our membership today for another year!
