Which one Saturday happen to be packed! The folks at AAA of Avon are wonderful. Simple and fast. Good selection of appointment times any one will find convenient.

Negative experience: For all the shade thrown at the DMV, I found the person who took my photo for my renewal to be far more professional than the AAA staff at the counter. Both staff at the counter were rude to me and also to CUSTOMERS after me. Paying for a "AAA" membership rates nothing with the staff here when it comes to their customer service interaction.

Negative experience: Don't expect them to actually put a spare tire on for you anymore. They come out, act like they can't get it off and tell you it has to be towed. So you wait some more for the tow truck.. Then the wheel comes off with no issue at the tire store and the guy there says, "we see it all too often." Poor service that caused me all kinds of logistical problems a few months back. So was the 1st guy lazy, or is it because they make more money on a double-dip-tow-truck-trip?

Fantastic experience: I needed to renew my driver's license (with plenty of time to spare) and was able to get an appointment SAME DAY! I arrived and they greeted me right away and made sure I had all my documents ready to go. After a brief wait, just long enough to finish up with the person before me, I was up. The whole process took about 20 minutes and the staff were friendly, professional and efficient. The DMV should take a few lessons from the Avon AAA. Thanks!!

Negative experience: I felt insulted when i experienced the agent's ridiculous behavior to show no respect on family. I went this place with my wife to have an international driver license for her. The agent arrogantly asked me to go outside since i don't have a business with AAA and due to a pandemic. I already read all outside information and didn't find any restriction like this. I told her i am her husband, however she said i didn't have a business and should not come in the place. What an arrogant statement!! She was very rude and raised her voice with no reason. I did not have any intention to make a noise and quietly went outside to wait for my wife. What other business should I have to get in the place? This is totally nonsense. All of my family businesses are my business. This kind of arrogant and waisted agent behavior makes me very sad to deal with. Our town should be a better place. I hope AAA will not have DMV business in Avon to make people uncomfortable to visit. People are deserved to have better services and treatments. This is not a first time for me to feel this way. I only visit this place when i have any DMV business. Anytime i visited this place, i felt why AAA is doing DMV business with this poor attitude. I don't know how other AAAs in other towns treat customers. AAA in Avon is not a good place to do any DMV business due to its arrogant attitude.

Negative experience: By appointment only... If you're only taking drivers license renewals "by appointment only" - I'd expect there to be multiple "appointments" taking place per day. Having to wait 2 months to renew a license is ridiculous. If this request is so backed up, why isn't someone working at AAA doing the processing and photos for license renewal back to back to back? No, there's people sitting at their desk doing nothing, and not one customer is there to process a license renewal. If AAA really cared about their community - they would be taking 50 people a day - it takes 10 minutes to do a renewal. It's a shame, and borderline criminal!

Negative experience: Deal breaker experience. Walked in for license, was told I needed 2-pieces of mail in addition to what I had. I said I'd get it. Came back 45-minutes later AND THEY SAID I NEEDED AN APPOINTMENT!! Incomprehensible they didn't tell me before! Consider this: I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING TO MOTOR VEHICLES, instead of ever back there. Worse than DMV! That's saying something! ZERO stars.

Negative experience: This was the second time I have tried to renew my license at this location. BOTH times I was spoken to so rudely. I didn’t realize you needed an appointment so I apologized and asked if they could make an exception since the facility was completely empty. The staff was extremely condescending and confrontational telling me to go elsewhere if I don’t like it. I never speak to others this way I’m shocked that anyone, especially so called professionals, would think this is ok.

Negative experience: I’ve been to this location before and had a great experience. However, this time I went in to update my license and didn’t realize you needed an appointment. When I asked if this info was on the website (because I genuinely did not see it or know it was there), I was told “I don’t know, the world is changing and you need to pay attention. We’re in a pandemic. Watch the news.” I didn’t appreciate being talked to like that just because I was unaware of this updated Covid rule. I’m happy to make my appointment at another AAA, which I did.

Fantastic experience: First and foremost I would like to start of by addressing something. I’ve come to this particular store several times because of their service and amazing staff. (Big thank you to the store manager she is always so helpful and professional.) I came on here to finally leave a good review and was saddened to see that someone had left a bad review (referring to the “xjx a” person) and I’d like to point out I’m almost positive I was there the same day as that person and can assure everyone reading these reviews that since the pandemic, as I mentioned before, I’ve been here several times and everyone working has always worn their masks and practices social distancing at all times. I’m sure I was there because I remember overhearing this persons interaction with the workers. On that specific day, again everyone was wearing masks and making sure to sanitize and taking the extra precautions as needed. I believe the “xjx” person was just upset they didn’t get their way because the whole “mothers funeral” conversation never happened and no one was coughing or sneezing ??? I was there a little before and after that persons visit so I would’ve heard it if that were true. I was there to inquire about multiple things including a license renewal. I was helped in a timely manner and everyone was kind. I never once felt unsafe or “skeeved” out also the sign on the door never specified 6 people being in at a time so what that person said is invalid . Please everyone working here keep up the great work and know that you’re appreciated in these crazy times we are living in. I hate to see nasty reviews left just because someone was upset at whatever didn’t go their way. It’s not fair to the people who are working and risking themselves everyday. Negative experience: Worst and scariest appointment ever. Doctors and dentists office seem safer.. and that's pretty bad! I went there to renew my license. Sign on the door says no more than 6 people allowed inside. There was. And in fact there was no one even monitoring how many people were inside at all. Oe women, I couldn't tell if she was Latino of AA (doesn't matter just using as a descriptor) didn't even have a mask on at all! The women who took the DMV photos wasn't wearing any gloves! Neither was anyone else for that matter! She also took off her mask numerous times to cough, sneeze and blow her nose!! At one point she said, "I can't do this anymore" referring to the mask. To which my aforementioned manager. who herself was not even wearing a mask, told her she had to and she could switch to the paper ones or wear a AAA mask and that she had to and her shift was almost over. The older woman even once said, "I think I'm getting a cold". Another dude that worked there came over, took off his mask and told a story about I think it was, his mother's funeral! GET ME OUT OF HERE! I swear if I catch Coronavirus from this place you will have a lawsuit on your hands. I'll OWN AAA!! Felt very disgusting and skeevy!!
