Negative experience: Racist customer service! It would be beneficial to vet who you allow to make service calls. My boyfriend (who is white) called Triple A to help with a flat tire and the guy who came to help was fine up until he repeatedly dropped the n word to him referring to the black people at the gas station we were at. Absolutely disgusting.
Negative experience: Took off work early on a Friday. Drove a half an hour each way. Used my time and gas to get there. Called in advance inquiring about IDL. Was told to just go in no appointment necessary. Showed up with all the paperwork filled out an hour before closing and was told I could not get one because my trip isn't for another 6 months and they only have 10 IDL available and someone might come in tomorrow and need one. Which they are closed Sat and Sun so no one is coming in to get a IDL. If I can just walk in and don't need an appointment why is it my fault you only have 10 left. This is the time I allotted to complete this task. Why do I have to be denied because you have poor inventory management of your supplies. The customer service was horrible here. Power play. It was about the number you had not the date of the trip. Not my problem if you don't have enough for everyone else that MAY come in. I am here now provide my service I am requesting rather than saving the IDLs for someone who MAY come in. Not my problem. Rude.
Negative experience: Triple A as a whole is absolutely horrible. My father had initially got me this in 2007 and it was great but now over the last few years it has gone downhill. I had to wait over eight hours for a tow as companies continued to cancel repeatedly. I would call AAA and ask the status and they would tell me someone was assigned only to find out the company assigned had no clue who I was when I called. I had no one show up for another tow I had requested months later. What is the point of paying for absolutely horrible service? The best thing that came out of it was I got the number of a towing company who will help me if I ever am stranded again. I can't even cancel my membership and get a refund for what won't be used because they don't allow a cancellation in the middle of membership. What a joke!!! I do not, DO NOT, recommend AAA for any roadside assistance. Get an insurance company that adds that feature to their insurance.

Negative experience: Awful auto insurance if you actually need to file a claim. The auto body I have my car currently stored have heard from the insurance company once in the almost 2 MONTHS it's been there. It's extremely difficult to get a person on the phone, or a return call from messages left. The auto shop guy said he had never experienced this before with an insurance company. He said he's gotten pretty much all of the information from me, not AAA. I have never had such an appalling experience with any insurance company. 2 months! That's 4k in storage fees. I couldn't get it out of there if I wanted to due to the storage fees. Those fees only accrued to such a high price because of the insurance delay. F you Chantelle, pick up your GD phone and learn how to return a message! Completely unprofessional. As soon as this traumatic endeavor has concluded, I'm finding new auto insurance. Don't make my mistake, look elsewhere for auto insurance!
Positive experience: I went to AAA to quote my auto insurance and one of my friend referred me to this aaa. I waited almost one hours and the staffs also looked at strange after I left. In my suggestion if you want to looking insurance don’t go there, do quote at the site your self.

Negative experience: If you are looking to book a vacation with Triple A- go somewhere else!! They never call you back, I am still waiting for Sheryl to email me back n still no response back. The calls n messages I left within a 3 week time span- no one from Travel on 27th Street or Waukesha calls or emails you back. I went to Fox Travel- met with her n booked n put down payment for our group of 6 within a week. Triple A lost a Travel customer

Negative experience: These ppl are liars they promise the tow and go for the 4th of July we'll I needed a tow they took all my information down at 12am finally I stared getting these updates saying my driver would be on the way w in an hour well after that an hour later the calls started coming saying my driver was close bad..mind you I have my 15 ur old son w me and my small dog . Well when it git close to the oifk up the calls stopped and I made several attempts to ask where's my ride the dispatchers stated they can't contact the drivers howbere each time I called back they kept asking for my members loyalty number meaning they were only dealing w members and ithers they weren't and nobody I mean nobody could tell me when I would be able to get my car towed I wasn drinking I needed a tow cause I was having car problems fir some reason. Just to find out the driver saw I was on the north side of mikeaukee and decided not to xome but dispatchers cover for them saying the driver will xontact me. I just need everyone to be mindful and realize this is all about the money. And if it dont make dollars it dont make sense... Here we are at 4am and still nothing like uts definitely a money thing because you're suppose to treat everyone equal and to think what if thos was your damiky..again jut so everyone knows these ppl are a very sad unprofessional business and the dispatchers give them.passes for this amd they rudely tell u you're more than welcome to call another company. And to show how bad this is if the owner doesn't reach out to this review in a month or so..there's my conformation
Negative experience: I called them for a jump came quite quick, But he Broke my Hood Lach So I put in a claim Did what I was supposed to do got two Estimate took pictures And I got a text message from them that they are not going to fix my vehicle that costs $250 to fix I find that outrageous considering there the ones who broke it so now I get stuck with the bill

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible service. I was stranded in Waukegan, Il. on a Friday night after a concert. After hours of waiting they told me no one was available to give me a battery jump. Waukegan isn't exactly a small town, why wasn't Kenosha or Chicago contacted ? No, I had to send for my dad to pick me up (a 4 hour round trip ). Then they have the nerve to call me at 4AM when I'm finally in bed asking if I still need a jump. My Dad charged them a $160. for a service call which they denied. I called AAA asking to talk to a supervisor 3 different times and was ignored each time. They promised to call me back and never did. VERY POOR SERVICE, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM .
Positive experience: Got what I needed: an international license. But, the lady I worked with was rude and abrasive. The application for the license says it "must be effective WITHIN 6 months of application date." So i assumed that meant I could create an effective date of any day in the next 6 months. Then it is good for 1 year. Well, she snapped at my interpretation and insisted the license couldn't be effective for at least 6 months. I didn't bother arguing. However, my wife went in the next day and worked with someone who was actually kind and helpful. Turns out my interpretation was correct. Moral of story: avoid the mean lady with glasses. Location otherwise clean and service was timely.
Fantastic experience: Picked up international driving permit for trip to Europe. Very friendly people working there and got me in and out with more information than I could even read through. Awesome place.
Fantastic experience: I blew out a tire on my way to my son's house around 6:15 PM. AAA sent Cecil right away. Within 1/2 hour he had changed the tire and I was on my way. Thank you, Cecil and AAA for the excellent and quick service!!!
Negative experience: If I could leave a zero I would. I have been a triple A member for over 10 years. Only used service once in the p year. This time I needed and international driver license. I called did prep work in advance. husband took off work we show up with paper work 20 mins before they closed and they said sorry can’t do it today. Very frustrating!
Negative experience: After reading all the bad reviews. I never thought in a million years I would be in the same situation. I requested roadside assistance at 730pm and a tow truck didn’t come till 3:15 am. So many of their tow companies contracted canceled on me. I called over 4 times for a new driver every time one canceled on me. All the operator could do is put out a new request and tell me to wait for a tow driver to call me. It was a repeat cycle through the night into the morning. A complete nightmare! Imagine if I was stranded in the middle of a snow storm or in a rough neighborhood. Their service is not reliable. You’re better off just calling a regular tow company and having them come out over going through AAA. I’m canceling my membership. I don’t see no benefit to having it. Best of luck to whoever decide to keep their membership.

Negative experience: I been a AAA membership since 2004 and I'm a legacy from my Dad who worked 25 years for AAA he passed away . Until his untimely death. I was told I abruised my membership. I have not. I love Cadillacs and I buy them and take them to a shop that takes care of my service . I'm upset I have recommended plenty of people to AAA never again.
Negative experience: Waiting on a tow for 3 hours from a tow company who has nothing but bad reviews with triple A (5 star towing). Never got a dispatch call and was given 4 different arrival times and no one ever arrived. No one in the customer service department was helpful at all. Their only response was “sorry for the inconvenience”.

Negative experience: The worst towing experience I’ve ever had. It took 3days, 10+ phone calls for them to pick my car up. Somebody was supposed to come within the hour the first two days but ended up a no show. The third day I called 8:30am with someone finally coming at 11am. Extremely frustrating for them to play on peoples time like that. Not worth the money being paid for this service. Would give a 0 if I could.

Negative experience: AAA is not what it used to be. Went to pickup a tripTik for a road trip with multiple stops. The girl had no idea how to help navigate a trip or to help with marking stop points along the way. She stated that she was unable to make hotel accomodations and gave us a 1-866 number to call and make it ourselves. I'm used to the hospitality at AAA when they'd take the highlighter and walk me through the path and sights we might want to see. Telling us where our 1/4, midpoint spots are along the trail. I guess those days are over , or perhaps just not at that location.

Negative experience: Unbelievably bad experience. My car didn't start so I called to schedule a tow. While on the phone the send a text with a link that is suppose to be the "easiest" way to schedule. So I followed the steps and it was told it would be there in 1hour. An hour and a half later I called and said it wouldn't be there for another 3 hours. So I had someone pick me up. I got a text it would be there in 30 min. One hour later a minivan shows up. They logged it wrong and thought I only needed a battery. Still waiting for my tow truck.

Negative experience: Too many steps before I was able to talk to an actual human and when I finally was able to speak to someone and request cancellation of my locksmith request (due to long wait times) they said it was cancelled and they NEVER cancelled it. Poor guy came all the way out only to be met by another private locksmith.

Negative experience: Unsafe! 18 hour wait for service that left me in a bad neighborhood with a dead car and a dying phone for 4 hours until local police and my family came to help. Glad police were the ones to approach my vehicle in the dark! By the time my vehicle got to the shop, I lost a whole day of work and was told “technical challenges related to a new system” was to blame. Glad I ended up safe, but have told my female friends and family- don’t rely on AAA in a breakdown.

Negative experience: I had to wait 2 days for service's that P paid for, then $95 extra for a key made for my outside door which is the same to my ignition. I had you for years. This is the 1st time I had any problems with my AAA roadside service. I have the Gold membership. Maybe AAA should have more locksmith Agencies than 2 in the Milwaukee County area, its a very large region and Population. My son may have list his job because of missing 2 days of work. He depends on me for transportation, it is a new job. The busses don't run on his shift. I was very upset because I had talked to 4 customer service and road side assistants the 1st day starting at 2 in the after noon. The Triple A reps didn't get me service until the following day when the locksmith showed up at 5:30 pm. He was under my car hood when I went to check ony car. He had cables hooked up to something which was not the battery. He said he had to program the key to the car which was in the ignition with engine lights on but not car. The. next day my car wouldn't start up and I needed a jump. I am not complaining about him I am complaining about the over all services already paid for that I did not receive the day I called. Negative experience: My car blew a head gasket about 2:30 pm. Tried to use the AAA app 80% done filling it out. I hit next. And nothing happened. So I had to call AAA. After a 20 minute wait. I finally had a tow truck set for pickup in an hour. It's now 3pm so the truck should there in an hour 4pm. 4pm comes and goes. Now it's 5pm still no truck. I tried to call AAA again now it's a 45 minute wait. When I was on hold the truck driver called and said he is on way. I asked him what is taking so long. He told me he just started his shift at 5pm and would be by me in about 20 to 30 minutes. He showed up about 5:35. He got me loaded up in about 10 minutes. Drove me the whole 2.2 miles I had to be towed. Was unloaded at home and now it's 6pm. 3.5 hours later and my 2.2 mile tow I'm home. I broke down in South Milwaukee and had to towed to Cudahy Wisconsin. 2.2 miles it's not like I was in the middle of nowhere I was in the city. The tow truck had to come from West Allis Wisconsin no one closer to tow me. 3.5 hour wait to go 2.2 miles is just ridiculous. NOT TO HAPPY. AAA Needs to work on their service!

Fantastic experience: I enjoy getting my car washed before or after a long day. Unfortunately, it seems they always have one or more spinning brushes out of order. I can tell just by seeing the parts of my car that weren't finished.

Fantastic experience: Chris from AAA Milwaukee area came to my garage within minutes. He went above and beyond trying to help me with my Jeep. I lost my keys in the park earlier in the morning and had to call AAA to get it towed to the dealer for keys. My parking garage is too low for a truck to come in. And my doors were locked so I couldn’t put it in neutral. Chris helped get my doors unlocked which was very tedious. Then he made several attempts to try to put my car in gear. He spent a good amount of time trying to help me. And the point is that he didn’t have to try. He could have just looked at the underground parking garage and drove off and cancelled. Or he could have not bothered at all once he realized my car doors were locked. But he didn’t. He stayed and tried to help. Luckily my property manager called in the middle of it and someone turned in my keys. But I definitely appreciated Chris’ willingness to try and problem solve rather than move on to the next job or think it wasn’t worth his time. Great employee.

Negative experience: Not good this time. Stuck on the highway for 12 hours, ( which 5 of them was with me in it.) before it was towed by police. Had to pay to get it out of pound. Ugh!

Negative experience: Could of been better. I needed Really needed a trip map as A senile senior who got lost several times. But snoopy old lady only interference with my male agent took away his servicing me and was overbearing with my NEEDS & WANTS. Ok he gave me a map. Whoppy. I wanted points of interest. Places to go n see to do things. Not just a piece of paper. Disappointed AGAIN.
Fantastic experience: I love my AAA membership so much...i have been in so many different kinds of situations where I just called my AAA and1,2,3 I was back up and running sooner than I thought it be. EVERY TIME.
