Negative experience: I recently had an experience with Flight Assist that left me disappointed due to misrepresentation and overcharging regarding Royal Caribbean’s gratuities policy. Prior to our cruise, we were charged in advance by Flight Assist for what we were told were required gratuities. However, upon boarding, we learned from Royal Caribbean that these gratuities had not been credited, and we were required to pay them again directly onboard. This miscommunication resulted in unexpected additional costs for my group, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. I expected more transparency and accuracy from Flight Assist, especially on an essential detail like onboard gratuities. To add to the frustration, I reached out to Stan, our representative from Flight Assist, but never received a response. I would caution others to verify with Royal Caribbean directly regarding any pre-cruise charges to avoid confusion or overcharging. Improvements in Flight Assist’s communication and billing practices would go a long way in building trust with their customers.

Negative experience: Scammers, everyone that works for this company are Scammers. Please don’t book with them. They charge me $189 for a flight ticket which I never got and then promised to issue a refund which i never received and now they’re not answering my calls. Negative experience: I asked them if they were Thai Airlines and they said yes. Once I realized they weren't Thai airlines they told me the change fee would be the same if I went direct. It was $300 more.

Negative experience: Pretend to have a relationship with the original booking agent but really just want to scam you. They'll either take money not needed to process cancellations or changes, or take the money and never make the change since they have no authority over the booking to do so. They'll "transfer you to the airline" but really its just their other grubby mate next to them doing their best to act like they have an actual job. Pretty pathetic even for scammers.

Negative experience: SCAM SCAM SCAM !!! they pretended to be air canada official employees and had access to my personal info, the scammer said that we needed to upgrade the ticket for my disabled parents flight in 2 days or else they have to cancel the flight and redeem the amount in points. Negative experience: I had a nightmare experience with Flightsassist travel agency and would not recommend it to any traveler. I spoke with a representative, Mr. King, for one hour and thirty minutes to discuss travel to Dubai in October 2024. During the discussion, I expressed my preference for business class travel, and Mr. King explained the difference between special fares and saver fares. I requested the Saver Fare based on its benefits. After pointing out that the price on the Emirates site was cheaper, Mr. King agreed to honor the price, and we booked the ticket. He mentioned that I would receive a call within an hour to select a seat on the flight, but I never received a call. When I contacted Emirates to select a seat, I was surprised to learn that I could not choose a seat due to the Special Fare ticket. Upon calling Mr. King to address my concerns, my experience became a nightmare. I made over fifteen calls to the agency to rectify the matter. Mr. King became unprofessional, using a condescending tone, and, at one point, scolded me for speaking to another team member instead of him. On one occasion, he even sent me an email with all capitalized letters. I spoke with more than ten associates at the travel agency to rectify the issue. I requested to speak with a manager, who was also challenging to reach. Finally, I talked to Edward, the manager, who listened patiently and said he would call me back with an update that never happened. After numerous calls and unpleasant interactions with Flightsassist associates, I received a small refund, but the ticket was never upgraded to a Saver Fare, which would have cost an additional $1,548. I sent a complaint letter to the company address in New York City, as listed on the website that was returned as non-existent. I also wrote a complaint on the website and received a call from Jeffrey in customer relations, who provided lip service, stating, "I'm feeling very bad this happened to you," but never took concrete action to resolve my horrific experience. Travelers, beware of this "company." There are multiple travel agencies to choose from, avoiding this one.

Negative experience: Most important, see if people are really physically in this office. Gather all documentation to your bank. Every person that has been stolen from needs to file a claim with consumer affairs.Do all the research that you have , show all your proof to help shut this company down. Negative experience: I had an extremely distressing experience with this company. On March 16, 2024, while attempting to contact EVA AIR, I inadvertently reached out to this company due to their misleading prominence in search results. Despite my daughter meeting all requirements to travel to Taipei, their representatives provided false information repeatedly, falsely claiming she couldn't fly. Additionally, they demanded an exorbitant fee for cancellation, leaving me no choice but to reluctantly authorize a charge of $510 over the weekend, as I was unable to reach EVA AIR for clarification. However, on March 18, 2024, EVA AIR confirmed they have no affiliation with this company and promptly initiated a refund upon my online application. When I reached out to Flightassist to voice my grievances, they offered a minimal refund after numerous complaints, only to vanish when confronted. This company not only disrupted my travel plans but also deceived me financially. I caution others to exercise vigilance and steer clear of their services. Despite the slim prospect of recovering my funds, I am determined to pursue legal recourse to hold them accountable for their unethical practices.

Negative experience: They are scam .they did the change on my mom's ticket without letting me. they said there was some issue with business class .they charged me while they told me there is no extra charge and lied that it will be refunded. Negative experience: Do not use this company. They pay for Google ads so their phone number pops up when you search for carnival cruise line. I have been helping a friend that wanted to make a payment of $500 on an existing booking he had with Carnival. When he called what he thought was Carnival Cruise lines he spoke with Sam Conner who is actually from Flight Assist. He used scare tactics to try to have him pay $700 by saying he would cancel his cruise. That should of been the biggest red flag to hang up but he stood on the phone. After an hour of arguing with Sam Connor he agreed to take a $500 payment. This of course did not go towards an existing booking but it booked a separate trip. They completely took advantage of him. We are trying to get a refund from this fraudulent company!

Negative experience: Travelers beware; this company has a modus operandi that is based on deceit and missinformation. The card companies even have it flagged. Do NOT do any business with them as they will promise they will solve your travel issues and simply they will not, they say they will send the tickets within certain time and they never do, when you try to cancel they will try to charge you extra. Notice as well that they reply to any one star is the same and in bad English. The 5 stars reviews are from people with very few reviews and probably not trustworthy

Negative experience: Edited again… I don’t need to call you just quit fighting with my bank and give me my money back. Y’all stole from me and I want my money back. Edited again… I have got with my bank and you guys are refusing to refund my money that you stole from me! Edited to add, you guys know who I am. You are telling my bank that you did not scam me. And you know you did. Look up flights or reservations in my name on December 30, 2023. Ask Justin he knows. He lied to me. You guys are scammers and you are thieves. This is the worst most fraudulent company I’ve ever dealt with. A Google search showed this number for Southwest Airlines for whatever reason. Justin their customer service representative portrayed himself as a Southwest employee. We had not received my confirmation of my flight. I called this number and was told that I didn’t even have a reservation. This company charged us $444 for a new ticket for me to come home.something didn’t sound right so I called Southwest Airlines and guess what? I now had two flights home. These people lied! And the representative Justin is the one who lied to me. I called the real Southwest Airlines phone number they canceled the ticket That Justin made.. I just have to tell you guys this was the worst nightmare ever Justin at flight assist booked me new flight home and charged us $211 to do that on top of the plane ticket. When we called Southwest Southwest asked For our email address, and when we gave it to the representative, she told us that Justin at flight assist gave them a bogus email For us. It’s a scam, they’re thieves and crooks. And will not give us our money back even though we canceled that ticket. Justin lied he’s a liar. And now they are refusing to give us our money back. Negative experience: This company is absolutely a fraudulent company, full of liars and thugs. Last October when I was trying to inquire about canceling my tickets booked on Royal Jordanian company and searched for airlines customer service number, Flight Assist number showed up as airlines number on Google search. When I called them to cancel, they charged me $402 to cancel tickets with a promise of getting a full refund of ticket money $2,400 and asked me to wait for a couple of billing cycles. When I tried to follow up after a month and later on one other time , Flight assist reps kept telling me the refund is in process and told me to wait a little longer. Then from third time onwards, they kept me on hold for a long time with no answer and then afterwards, stopped even picking up the phone. When I emailed customer service of Flight Assist, I received one email stating refund is still in process and then stopped answering to my next follow up email. I lost count of number of calls I made. Finally I ended up inquiring with Royal Jordanian airlines after I realized I was duped by Flight Assist. The airlines said they have never received any refund request from Flight Assist and never charged any cancellation fee for refunding other passengers. This company has created such a nightmare for me. When I had my credit card company flag it as a fraudulent charge and refund me the cancellation charge, Flight Assist sent me a legal notice. BIGGEST SCAMMERS AND CHEATERS! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!

Negative experience: We recently had the misfortune of using this agency to change the travel date of the existing booking with Emirates. All other 1 start reviewers are accurate. BEWARE !!! avoid this agency at all costs and save yourself time, money and headache. We used them to update the ticket twice and both the times they charged more than what it costs. When we spoke with Emirates, we realized they never received the payment and the tickets were never updated. Then I realized I was scammed and checked the reviews and they are in line with what we experienced. Not sure how they are in business for this long. We raised a dispute with credit card company for both the transactions.

Negative experience: ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! I was led to use this company when trying to extend my trip over the holidays with Flair Airlines. This third party agency was the number they gave me to in the customer service section. Every aspect of the customer service in this company was fraudulent, full of lies, empty promises, callbacks that were never made, and an absolute awful experience. I paid a cancellation fee and they never cancelled my flight properly. I was marked as a no-show and they did not want to give me the voucher I was promised. I paid 600 dollars for another flight (thinking I was getting a flight voucher) and 200 dollars for a cancellation fee and now I’m left with no voucher. I’ve had numerous emails phone calls with these so-called agents. They are absolute scammers. They have no idea how to run customer service they keep making promises that are not true. They are idiots they want to steal money from people. Avoid using the service but if you found this thread of customer service negative reactions, you’re probably too late. I am looking into talking to the Better Business Bureau to filing a former complaint because this is absolutely ridiculous.

Negative experience: This is a scam... I ended up calling to what I thought to be my airline that I had a delayed flight with, after googling the contact information for my airline, it ended up being a fake ad disguised as my airline. my flight was delayed and I was in a panic, looking to find a way home. I was assured I would be fully refunded by the airline. After submitting emails and phone recordings, the airline denied being affiliated with any third party companies. After googling the company and seeing the reviews i realized I've been scammed.

Negative experience: I was googling American Airlines and Flightsassist number with AA logo came up. . I called them, thinking I was speaking to a AA agent. I wanted to know why I could not get into my AA flight info. I was told by a man with a foreign accent that the taxes were not paid on the flight. I did not call my travel agent because it was 11pm. He also said my flight was going to be cancelled at 8:28 am if I did not pay the taxes. Coincidentally 8/28 is my birthday. He asked me for the locator number and I gave it to him. That's when he had all the information he needed to make me believe it was real. He listed a few reasons why I was unable to view my AA flight flight information. He said the taxes were not paid. I gave my debit card number, I was panicking that's why I paid. My flight was in 3 days. I was sent a long contract which I quickly looked over the contract and sent it back to him, which he said was my consent. Next morning I called my travel agent and she said things don't look good and it looks like a scam and it was. Filed dispute with my bank and BBB. DO NOT USE this scammers.

Negative experience: What a scam!!!!! A few months after they said they confirmed changes to our business class seats to Thailand, we went to use our tickets. We were told that the tickets were no good. The tickets were listed as no shows for the dates the tickets were originally for. But she was trying to check in for a vacation, and these guys told her it had been booked stand by (not true) and would require $600 to get confirmed seats. Negative experience: Absolute scam. They pay for Google ads so their phone number pops up when you search for an airline's phone number. They also claim they work with the airlines but they do not. You think you are speaking with the airline but you are not, they will double the charges. Once you ask for a refund, they will not respond. Since then, I have suspicious charges on my CC. I had flight credits with Alaska they claimed were worth $300. They ended up actually being worth $2690 when I was able to talk to Alaska directly. Negative experience: This is absolutely a scam site. I cannot even believe that the folks are not behind bars and I will make sure to reach out to as many authorities as possible. My elderly dad directly booked with BA. He wanted to reschedule his flight and seems to have inadvertently reached out to these folks, even though the original ticket was directly issued by BA. These guys lied that they were British airways employees. Then they charged him 600 USD for changing dates for 2 tickets. Until this point in time, we had no clue that we were dealing with a fraudster team. One day before take off, my dad tried to check in and kept on seeing an error that check in was not available. We thought that it was because of over booking. My dad reached out to these guys again and they told us that we were supposed to be charged $1600 and they make two transactions to “Save us tax”, and only one transaction had gone through so we need to pay them the remaining thousand dollars! 1600 for change of tickets?. I told him if we should work with the airport instead instead they said no because they were going to save us a lot of money by doing it over the phone. At that point in time I realized this was a scamming operation and I hung up on them. Unfortunately, we already lost $600. I contacted Iceland air directly and they said there's absolutely no charge! We canceled the flight over 2 weeks ago and still have not received the original flight refund. I had them put in writing that we would be getting the original refund, and the $500 cancelation fee refunded to us. Told them if they did not issue the refund for the $500 we were going to take legal action. And if they do not refund us and we do not get the refund back from the flight that we had canceled we will be contacting our credit card company. We are going to be watching our credit card to make sure we get our money back and if not we will be contacting the company and letting them know that we are disputing the charges. Do not use them they are awful!!! Avoid them at all costs!

Negative experience: ***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** I would give a zero review if possible. I cancelled a flight within their guidelines. I have provided them with all the information they have asked for. They have now stopped responding to emails and messages. It has been 8 months and they still haven't refunded me. Tomorrow i am going to go around to their offices and actually have to ask them to please return my money...insane

Negative experience: This company is fraud, I googled Aircanada Vacation contact number and this company's phone number showed up , I called and they picked up fast , I tried to book seats for my flight, they asked for credit card info to charge for seats and I did give them , he wanted me to reply to his email to confirm , I got suspicious and I refused , he snapped on me and starts yelling , and he threatened me to cancel my flight and sure he did !!, I called Air Canada , apparently he got in to my booking using my last name and reference # and cancelled my family trip to upset me I dont know how google allow these companies to use them ! be careful guys ..

Negative experience: TAKE ACTION and REPORT to 1) Federal Trade Commission and 2) Internet Crime Center (IC3) (because they also email you and they use the internet to fraudulently communicate with the airline using their online chat pretending to be you with the actual airline by using your name and booking number. They also post their number online pretending to be the actual airline you are trying to contact. !! SCAM!!!! BEWARE!!!! NOTIFY ALL CONSUMER AGENCIES!!! I am not sure how this company is able to exist. I'm not sure if people have followed through with reporting them to ftc and ic3 and other consumer protection agencies. They are clearly a scam. They claim to work for the airline you are interested in, that is falsely claim to be employees of an airline, collect your personal information and charge information and claim to provide a service... Read 1 star reviews, they are the most accurate. They also go by the following names or try and bill you with the following names: travel junction, new reservation, jaz travels LLC, click2book, flightsmyway, gtt arc, sky bird travels, sky route arc, flight trotters, go way arc. Negative experience: I would give 0 stars if I could. This so-called "agency" is a scam. My wife and I thought we were calling Air Canada (flightsassist did nothing to disavow us of this notion, and judging from other negative reviews, it seems that not disclosing their identity is part of their strategy). We were travelling with a three-month old and hoping to secure bulkhead seats so as to be eligible for a bassinet. We explained this very clearly to the "agent" on the phone, whose name was "Sam Conner". He went ahead and booked us these seats (so we thought) for $500.00. After all was said and done, we looked at the seating map, and discovered that the seats for which we had paid this amount were not bulkhead seats. We called back, and "Sam" assured my wife, who was in tears at this point, that they were, in spite of what things looked like on the seating map. Of course, they weren't. I e-mailed "Sam" after we arrived at our destination to demand a refund, and he flat-out denied that he had assured us that he had booked the bulkhead seats for us. And so, "Sam" is a liar and a thief. This company is a lying and a thieving company. Stay as far away from it as you can. Oh, and look at all those "positive" reviews. It's plain as day that they're fake, written by employees of the company.
