AAA East Providence

Fantastic experience: I booked my honeymoon with Christine Mimoso and she was wonderful to work with! I told her what I was looking for and she went above and beyond, meeting with us multiple times and always updating me when there's been a change in the booking or flight info. I highly recommend her for your travel needs!

Negative experience:

Fantastic experience: I threw away my new registration when I got my new plates by mistake. I needed to get my car inspected and needed it. I didn't have an appointment but they got me in and out in a short period of time. Definitely saved the day for me.

Fantastic experience: My son took Driver's Ed here. Good place, convenient hours. Son did well on test, so I would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Last time sat on the road 5 and 1/2 hours waiting for him been on the road 2 hours and 15 minutes so far no sign of them AAA sucks

Negative experience: Called the 401 number listed for this location in East Providence. My question was not covered by any of the categories listed on their automated menu, so I waited on hold for nearly a half hour before someone answered. I asked if they did state inspections and was told that the person I had reached was actually in CT and had no idea. She said she'd get in touch with EP and be right back on the line. The line then started ringing and ringing with no one answering until I finally gave up. If I wanted to speak to someone in CT, I would have called CT and not the EP number. What a bunch of clowns.

Everyone was so great getting me in and out even though it was my mistake. They also recommended a really good breakfast place nearby! Thank you guys so much!!

Fantastic experience: Fabulous location. These people behind the counter are wonderful. They pay attention to all details. I came from Massachusetts to this location on my way to a meeting. Was in and out in 15 minutes with an international drivers license. Highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: Absolute horror show - daughters car needed a tow and my wife and daughter waited about 30!! (three zero!!) hours over the course of 2 days for a tow. Dozens of calls to AAA and they were assured tow guy would be right there. They never came. This was in pawtucket.

Negative experience: This past weekend,a AAA driver decided to use my front lawn as a place to do a 10-point turn. Unfortunately because it wasn't caught on camera even though my wife witnessed it with her own eyes, as well as a description of the car being towed and the truck ,they won't admit any fault without a police report etc. thank you AAA for taking care of your local customer base.

Positive experience: We took the ride to enroll in TSA pre check. The process was done by a company called Indentogo by Indemia. The system doubled my fee as well as my husband and our friend. We have yet to settle with Amex & Indemnia. However, the staff at AAA were quite helpful. I give them 5 stars. Indemnia 0.

Negative experience: Really disappointed in our customer experience while booking our first visit to Ireland and first trip through AAA. The communication was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever encountered. We even ended up booking our own excursions through Viator because we just didn’t feel we could rely upon our agent. She was definitely knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with when you actually could get a call back but the whole experience was very stressful and will not be using them for future travel plans.

Negative experience: Wont let me cancel. Phone forces you to listen to third party sales putch. Called 3times. Too difficult. Will block renewal at bank

Positive experience: This place needs an appointment. My experience at this place could be better. I don't appreciate waiting in line about 15 mins while the representative is on a phone call. However, they did answer my questions and help me with guidance.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of AAA for years. I have a membership for my daughter and my wife as well. We have called for assistance with flat tire, dead battery, lockout as well. They have always responded promptly and taken care of any issues. I have also used there administrative services for license renewal and trip planning. A triple A member ship is a good value .

I was attended to immediately, politely, and professionally, and was in and out of the building with what I needed in under ten minutes. I especially liked the online appointment booking service; at the time I could have had a same day timeslot to renew my driver's license and turn it into a RealID. Because of the appointment there were no lines and I was taken care of immediately. Since all my required documents were in order and I had the renewal form filled out at home it took less than 15 minutes to walk out with my temporary license. Great job between AAA and the RI DMV!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had to apply for our Real ID card. I forgot my marriage certificate so I just made another appointment. What impressed me the most was the cleanliness of the facility, and organization was impeccable. All assistants were pleasant and explained everything clearly. Even on a super busy day with short staff, they did very well! This was a GREAT transition from Cranston!

Negative experience: Been using AAA for many years to help with travel plans. I booked an hour session with my agent. The entire time I was there, she was dealing with another client on the phone. Also, agents that I have previously used would periodically check to see if the rates have come down. She never did. When I inquired about the rate, she checked and found that my cruise expense had been reduced by almost $800.000. Had I not asked, I would have had to pay that money. I was very disappointed with the service. I will use a different agent in the future.

Negative experience: I spoke with a woman from the branch on the phone about just being married and needing to change my last name. she didn't mention at all it is not something they do at the branch and I have to go to the dmv in Cranston. I waited a month for this apt for no reason and I now have to make an apt at the dmv.

Well the young lady tells me I can do the license there, idk, it's expired, online days I have 2g2 Cranston. She says she can do it for me! And on top of that she can add my husband on the AAA cuz it's new membership w no extra fee. I love it! I told her she made my day!!!
