Fantastic experience: My vehicle stopped working today in North Buffalo.....I called in and was sent an APP to complete a request for assistance. Very easy to do. I wanted to make a change in where the vehicle was going to be towed to and called in. I was connected to Davida who was also located in Buffalo. She was super nice to talk to and was extremely helpful as I also decided to discuss some membership questions I had. She helped me with everything I needed. Transit Auto Detail was sent to assist me - David the tow truck operator arrived about 45 minutes sooner than expected and was very personable and helpful. I absolutely give Davida and David 5 stars and am very happy with the service received from AAA.
Fantastic experience: I had the driver ART. he was amazing; very professional, patient and kind. He got here on time and was a very nice person. We need more employees like Art! Very happy with the service I received.

Negative experience: The day after Thanksgiving they towed my car to the wrong auto shop where it accrued $400+ in holding fees because no one knew where AAA actually towed it to. WE (not AAA) finally found where the car was taken two weeks later, 12/12, and AAA towed it to the right shop as a “one time courtesy” after informing us it should not have been towed in the first place due to an expired registration sticker. I was then told that in 1-3 business days I’d hear back from them regarding a reimbursement. A week later I was told it would actually be roughly 6 weeks for AAA to investigate and get back to us and there was a form we should have filled out (which I never received). Now over 5 weeks later from the initial call regarding a reimbursement and I’m told that they made a decision on 1/16 to not reimburse us the $400+ we had to pay for their screw up. It’s 1/20 and I can only assume that no one was going to reach out and inform us of this bogus decision, as I was told by a supervisor that they do not reimburse holding fees. They led me on a wild goose chase with the promise of possible reimbursement, and I was hoping that they may have had some sort of sympathy considering it was their screw up and it cost a hefty amount of money on my end to correct this two weeks before Christmas. I swear if there was some cheaper alternative for roadside assistance I would take it but unfortunately since they seem to have a monopoly on cheap tows they can just treat their customers however they want and rob them blind.

Negative experience: When you or your loved one take a driving course, AAA refuses to provide you with timely certificate or even the number afterward, causing you to wait three weeks for something they already have immediately. In short, they take your money immediately but are slow to deliver the product you paid for! Other companies provide the completion certificate to you instantaneously so you can move on with your life. We will never use AAA again, completely unhelpful and a dinosaur in this digital age. Join the 21st century already!

Negative experience: AAA In general not this particular location is horrible I've been waiting for a tow for over 3 hours when they tell me I'm next on the list to watch the tow driver drive rite by me then I call customer service and that guy was nice but tis whole experience was a joke I have been a AAA member for 5 years never use any service from them pay on time every month and this is what is given to me a heaping pile of crap smh all I can say is do better

Negative experience: I had CSAA general insurance from AAA my contact person(M M) she send to me bill$2535 yearly car insurance , I searched other insurance company's and find much cheaper yearly almost $1400. I took that And I called and e mailed AAA contact person want to cancel my car insurance I got message back from her today So sorry I was out of the office sending now. Fantastic experience: Went to get a PA tour book. The was clean and sufficiently staffed. Found out that you can only get the books digitally online. The lady that waited on us was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Negative experience: Usually, I have had outstanding customer service and help at this location for travel, however this time was an exception. I had an appt with Maime C. today at 9am. She said she can't help me and I am wasting my time. She said she left a message on my phone which there was not nor showed any missed call. Also, that I need to rethink my trip that no major airlines are flying to Israel, which is not true. I told her El Al is flying there. She said she couldn't book on El Al and I could book the flight myself. From the first time speaking to her I found her to be argumentative and not up to date on the current travel information such as a visa when traveling to Israel. I suggest if Maime C. Is so adverse to helping a customer of 15 years get to Israel through El Al she should not be taking care of international travel. If it not for the expertise and assistance of Stacy I. From Triple A , I don't know what would have happened. My friend gave me her contact information. It is a shame that the check in desk would not. Stacy has outstanding customer service and great knowledge on international travel. If I had only spoken to her first, there would have been a 5 star rating.

Fantastic experience: Staff is nice. However, check the documents they give you. They have misspelled my name on the international drivers license they made for me. I should have checked but AAA should not make a mistake like that.

Fantastic experience: Okay so today I went shopping and then put the groceries in the front seat along with my keys ect (which normally I put it in my jacket pocket when out and about latley). I called AAA from someone's phone, the guy told me someone will come to me within an hour it might be sooner or a little later well Jeramy L came so fast I appreciated that so much! Negative experience: My Grandson had his first horrible experience with a AAA call on January 15 during the storm we had in lancaster NY. This was his first car, he left the flashing lights on and forgot to turn off. Upon calling AAA it did take 8 hours before they came which is understandable. The AAA had sent for roadside service Transit Auto Detail Located at 1721 Transit rd.in Elma NY. When they arrived they told him they could not start battery (newly purchased w/3yr. Warranty Costing over $200 on November 15th), So they nicely took that out and supposedly replaced with a AAA battery,costing another $240+ no warranty. My Grandson knowing it was brand new requested the battery back, which they inturn said it would be $25 which he did not have. Without the knowledge of my Grandson he was scammed. AAA took no responsibility and the auto detail shop returned no calls. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THESE SCAMS !!!! Allyson Goff, maybe now they will contact me.

Negative experience: Iv had two separate very bad experiences with AAA in Buffalo since I moved here. First time I had a flat tire and the tow truck that helped me ripped off my front bumper when we went over a curve - he actually admitted to me after that he messed up hooking my car up but figured it would be fine… while I was riding with him to a tire shop his walkie talkie repeatedly went off with communication from his buddies and the entire time they were talking about women and it was quite explicit. He actually had to tell his guys to shut up since he had me in the car at the moment- he was quite embarrassed. Second instance I had to leave my car on the side of the road due to a power steering issue and they were supposed to come tow it when they had a chance. They didn’t make it for several hours and when they did they attempted to tow it but told me the next day they couldn’t leave it at the address requested because it was not a real address (the address I gave them was to my COMPANY BUSINESS so I am quite sure it is a real address). Long story short they towed back to their place and I had to pay an extra $320 for towing further distance as well as overnight storage!! When I tried to argue they said “oh we called and tried to reach you so it isn’t on us”. That was true but the calls I missed came at 1am in the morning!!! Very dissapointed with AAA here in Buffalo. If I had know all of this would occur I would have just hired a different company and saved myself the hassle of dealing with idiots. On the other hand my parents live In North Carolina and they have never had a problem.

Positive experience: I attended the Driving Safety Course on Saturday January 6th, 2024, at you Amherst, New York location. Instructor Mr. Victor Morales was excellent. He was very informative, and I learned a lot from him, that I either forgot or didn't know. He keep all of us engaged and his sense of humor made the 6 hours fly by. He used his professional experience, which was detrimental to the learning experience. Please forward to this him, via text, email, etc . Negative experience: You guys need to get your drivers at garages in check. You have one guy running around because his mother works in the IT department of AAA, threatening drivers and other businesses that he will have his mother remove them from their AAA contract. Ask the driver at five star why he's threatening drivers that he's going to get them fired through his mother.

Negative experience: Zero stars. I called for locksmith service. Was told 45 minutes at most. Okay great I’ll sit here and wait. Hour and a half later I get a call “we’ll be there tommorow” umm??? I literally told woman on the phone I do not want to do this if it’s going to be hours or tommroow due to holiday. She says “oh no 45 minutes at most” now I’ve missed my family dinner on thanksgiving.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. Talked over you and refused to give reference number for call or conformation of policy canceled and refund issued. Everyone needs to double check that their policy isn't automatically set on auto renew.

Negative experience: So I used my AAA discounts to book a room in Pittsford for two nights. I booked at King Room with a river view at the Wyndham Grand hotel. We get there, and there was no explanation on the website from AAA or the hotel, that there was a charge each night for parking. You don't have a choice but to use the valet, because there was to place for you to actually park your vehicle yourself. We check in and get to our room and it was not a King Suite overlooking the River, but a room with two double beds overlooking the pool. Absolutely no views at all. Went to desk several times and they would not help, was stuck with that room. Room was disgusting, and we are still getting charged for the King room, no compensation for getting a lesser room. Called AAA Travel, for help, and they kept telling to get a invoice from the front desk, and the front desk would not help. We checked in on 7/14/2023, and checked out on 7/16/2023. The hotel is not answering the phone for the "Representative" that is calling from a 3rd party company. This issue is still unresolved to this day. I keep getting the push around. I have AAA, because I used to have used vehicles, I have no need for AAA with the new vehicle. So if this is not resolved they will be loosing not only my yearly subscription, but the chance of me ever using them to book any travel arrangements.

Fantastic experience: Donna helped us organize a trip to Ireland and it was an amazing time. Did not want to return. Everything was set for a seamless 5 day tour of Southern Ireland. An exceptional job on her behalf to make our families first trip overseas stress free and memorable Will definitely be contacting her again in the future for more adventures

Negative experience: Not very happy with the road service at AAA. I had to call to get my battery replaced and they did it right away paid for it with my debit card then the next morning I found the debit card was blocked and somebody tried to charge something on my debit card I called AAA and they told me all the drivers were honest and to contact my credit card company. The only time that card was out of my hand and the next day somebody log tries to put through a fraudulent charge. Only after I called up screaming that they promise to do something about it.

Fantastic experience: The most helpful place for planning a trip. They also give you so much extra needed information. They helped up plan a driving trip this time. We have used them for air trips and cruises. Highly recommend. Plus help with navigating website if you go into visit. Makes a trip carefree. Plus I have their AAA membership, saved me many times when my car broke down. They also taught my son to drive. So many options, such great people.

Negative experience: The absolute worst experience ever with a travel agency. Needed information fairly fast but was told they couldn't meet for over a week. When we arrived at our appointment, 9 days later, we were told that the agent we were set to meet with had to leave unexpectedly several hours earlier. They said they didn't call to let us know because they didn't know she had an appointment with us. Then proceeded to tell us that the agent called out day before (contradictory to original story). Not a single attempt to resolve on site, no offer to meet with a different agent and a very lame apology. Don't waste your time here.

Negative experience: My FIRST time and my LAST time going through a travel agent. Not only was our travel agent unhelpful, but unresponsive as well. We called our agent every other day for two weeks straight to try and pay for our honeymoon, with no response, until ONE day before our due date. Which is enough to make any bride swear. Anything she did….we were better off doing in our own. I will never use AAA again, other than roadside assistance.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed in the service I received in regards to my roadside assistance, you can only use the membership for roadside assistance four times, after the fourth time they charge you a discounted price, well what did I pay for upfront to be a member in the first place, Even though it says it in the paperwork the paperwork is sent to you after you sign up it’s a scam to me, I will be filing a complaint to the very top, I could have went with my own insurance company.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed in the service I received. When my policy for both my auto and homeowners was up for renewal, I emailed Carrie in which I didn't get a response. I then tried calling in which I left a message on her voice mail. It was quite some time before I finally got a response. I explained how my rates went up by $200 on my vehicle and since I had no claims, I was in shock with such a huge jump. Carrie said she would check into rates with other companies. Once again, I didn't hear from her right away so I did some checking myself and found a better rate. I emailed Carrie asking for just a homeowners quote in which she didn't get back to me in a timely fashion. I ended up calling on the phone again and leaving a message. I finally heard back in which she had some prices but they were quite a bit more than what I had been paying. She then told me she had another place to check and would send me all the information in an email that evening. When I checked my email in the morning, nothing! Never heard another word from her. Fortunately, I was able to find another agent that was willing to go out of her way to help me. Although her price was a little higher than what Carrie had given me, the customer service was fantastic. Due to the horrible customer service, I'm sure when my snowmobile insurance comes due, I'll be getting saying goodbye to AAA. I'm extremely disappointed since she did such a great job for me last year. I'm actually quite annoyed with her customer service this time. I shouldn't have to make several phone calls and send several emails trying to get things taken care of.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Brea Carpenter. She 1st helped us the a trip tic and today helped us with a hotel for our road trip to Florida. Negative experience: Be prepared to wait 5 hours for a tow truck.

Our priority is to get those members to safety first, which can lead to some longer wait times for our members who are in a safe and warm location. Negative experience: Used AAA app and was told 3 hours. Waited 3 hours and truck showed up. Driver said he had the wrong truck and that I would have to wait another 3 hours. Not very happy and lost a day at work

Negative experience: Went there to purchase my son who just started driving a AAA package for the year for a Christmas present went there many years ago as a kid and had no clue what was happening when I walked in there was no reception desk no nothing there was four doors and some stairs the doors were locked with no direction no signs no nothing so needless to say I walked out without getting it and will have to purchase it online I would have really liked to have purchased it with cash. Giant thumbs down for ease of access lol

Fantastic experience: With my friend who locked his keys in his truck. After scratching his truck all up with a coat hanger, and 1/2 hour of time, I came up with the brilliant idea of calling AAA.They came in 5, yes 5 minutes. Negative experience: Had my truck towed through AAA. The tow company did not put my vehicle in neutral. Key was in it and it had power. You can see the mark on the new pavement and my tire has a flat spot on it now. I tried calling AAA a couple times after I realized, but they do not call back. Not happy that my tire was ruined all over a blown fuse for the fuel pump.
