Negative experience: Jon was great! He was personable and made us feel very relaxed. The most awful experience was talking to the manager. He was pushy and came across as if we were dumb if we didn't buy what they were selling (does that insulting tactic really work??). He was coming up with all kinds of random and extreme scenarios (like if you had the option of a penthouse, a nice car, a jet... would you really choose to sleep on a couch?). He offered us an extra special voucher for more money off since "he liked us so much", then when we said no he offered us two special vouchers (apparently he only gets two to use per week). He mentioned he was Mexican multiple times, and I feel like it was to try and connect with me since I'm also Mexican... but he just said random things. At one point he said "I'm Mexican so I don't take my wallet into Best Buy" which I have no idea what that means and it had nothing to do with anything we were talking about. When he stepped away, I told Jon that the manager was not coming across well. I finally reached my limit of gaslighting when he said something along the lines of "I just don't understand when people who seem smart make a dumb decision." I don't remember his exact words, but whatever they were, it was a backhanded compliment. At that point I just told him to give us the cruise vouchers so we could leave. This program (which genuinely feels scammy), really just did not make sense for how my spouse and I travel at this point in our lives and he just couldn't fathom that. He even mentioned a previous person who was a well paid medical professional that liked couch surfing, but he said it as if that was beneath him. Just a judgy guy who believes he's smarter than you... ick. The "gift card" they give you is really a Dining Advantage card that requires you to create an account and use the points on the card. Just Google "Dining Advantage", it doesn't seem very convenient.

Fantastic experience: Jon was amazing and very friendly! We got a a free gift just for coming out and Mr. Bishop was great at helping us out as well!!

Fantastic experience: Josh is fantastic and takes a personal interest in you. The program is really state of the art. GEVC is a great, I highly recommend you take the chance.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! Damian was awesome and very thorough in explaining everything! He had awesome energy. The presentation was beautiful and well explained. I highly suggest checking them out. Editing to add that despite other reviews saying they were never refunded their $50, I did in fact receive mine. I have seen other reviews about the deposits for their free trips being taken and them not receiving the information about their trip like flights or hotels. Although it does seem iffy I will still book mine and see what happens.

Negative experience: Scammed me out of my 50$ to listen to a bad presentation called multiple times asking for my refund and there customer service line never picks up or calls back bottom line don’t spin the stupid wheel and don’t give these people you’re card info there just lying Ponzi scheme scammers

Negative experience: SCAM....Marie was pushy when we said we had no money she called her manager and tried to convince us in giving them money we didn't have when I received my 50 dollar card it was a scam card terrible people luring innocent people into a lifetime of bills

Negative experience: OK, let me explain how they do this. They invite you over to go ahead and view the presentation not to mention to tell you how much it’s gonna be and how much you’re gonna save but if you ever get a rude sales person named Josh, not Joshua cause he doesn’t go by that name Understand that he’s gonna be Passive aggressive and tell you that you’re not driving and it’s not your house BS let me tell you why I’m driving We’re in the same page Josh you work off a commission and you’re trying to sell me the idea of buying discounted vacation packages people. It’s a fraud you’re gonna pay 416 on HOA yearly not to mention you’re paying 299 for the one week vacation that you’re gonna get for the For the year not to mention that you would have to pay $11,885 for the membership remind you yes you get to keep it and it’s a one time charge and you can go ahead and give it out to friends family or whoever you wanna give it to you as long as you provide how to trade it off here’s the kicker that within the year if you choose that you know what this isn’t for me you still have to pay those $11,885 Out-of-pocket no matter what because it’s a commitment and not to mention that you also have that 416 yearly whether you decide to take a trip or not so put that in mind also it does not include airfare, though they have a 24 hour concierge that will go ahead and try to get you the cheapest airfare that there is, but who wants to know that that’s what they’re gonna get you they really don’t stipulate those facts Yes Josh I am a numbers person and the numbers did not make sense but we stood there watching the video for the presentation for an hour and 44 minutes which they told us after an hour and 30 minutes and we were not sold on the idea you were free to go. They will still give you a one week vacation that it happened. No, my sales team member told me they will not give it to me until set. Manager speaks to me and set manager tries to resell the idea to me after I said you know what it’s a no And then I said hey you know what don’t do I gotta go. I gotta work in the morning, no says not until they tell you and then if you leave right now you won’t get the package you know what Josh you’re right I don’t give a shit about your package. I don’t have to sign for it because I’m not obligated to do so so I walked out now they’re trying to get me to come back and watch a 45 minute video via Zoom meeting and waste my time again and yet if I say no, am I gonna get the one week vacation besides read the terms and the conditions to it people because nothing comes for free in this world so I’m gonna tell you right now they’re passive aggressive and they’ll try to sucker you and it’s just like any timeshare even though they sell you all the BS that they’re nothing like them

Negative experience: SCAM!!! Nothing good about this place. They will try to manipulate you into signing a contract with them. I only went because my husband asked me to go with him so he can get his $50.00 back. Don’t get caught up in the lies they are trying to sell. I immediately told them I was NOT interested. It’s just sketchy and didn’t feel right. These people try to hard to try to make you laugh and sell you a bunch of nonsense just to get you to buy the crap they are trying to sell. Thank God I refused!!! Hidden fees, lies, straight up scammers.

Negative experience: SCAM SCAM SCAM! They don't give what they say they do. They charge you tons of extra fees. And they don't let you cancel. They don't give refunds. They fabricate their reviews. I'm out $7,000 of my life savings. Absolutely sick individuals. Read the "5 star reviews." NONE of them are actually about people getting what they paid for. It's all "they were nice... it was a good presentation." YEAH! OF COURSE they were nice and have "good presentations" because you need to in order to SCAM people.

Negative experience: This is a fraud , i ending paying 6k for something thats useless . They dont answer the phone , never reply the emails or return call from voice message.it just get worse now im paying 191$ annually for a hoa expenses‍♂️.at this point i just want to withdraw myself and never hear from yall again not even one sentence.

Negative experience: HUGE SCAM!!!!! These people are no better than Danny Davito's character in the movie Matilda. They will try anything to get you to buy into their pedestrian sales pitch. The receptionist was rude and had the personality of a brick wall. After I declined they shuffled me out as soon as possible so I couldn't convince any of the other people around me to not fall for this scam. DO NOT DO IT!!!
