Negative experience: Got an international driving permit here and they screwed me by filling it out incorrectly. Couldn't rent a car in the country I was in because of it.

Negative experience: Couldn’t get ahold of 24/7 roadside assistance over the phone. Tried scheduling on the app, but they were over 2.5 hours away at 4:45am. Had to call the police as my vehicle with a blown tire was in the way of traffic.

Fantastic experience: Tow agent Barry T saved my entire day. Came out quick, did some research on the problem and got me set up after another tech had given up completely. Great guy and great at what he does.

Negative experience: AAA Roadside assistance is a joke and a scam. I had a flat tire on the side of the road and waited for 3.5 hrs for a tow truck with my family and then called back when the 3.5 hrs was almost up and told me I had to wait another 3 hrs. Granted at that point it will be 1:30am and I first called them at 7:45pm when I got my flat. Absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous, the worst service and customer service i ever experienced. When I kept calling to express my frustration and need for an emergency tow truck they couldn’t care less. They didn’t even seemed concerned or gave a crap about my situation. Do not get AAA membership. Sad this is how they treat a customer of 30 plus years with them.

Negative experience: I am posting this review because I expressed my disappointment in my experience with AAA and got a generic response from this company saying they were sorry I had a bad experience.....it was obvious that they send the same message to everyone who responds to thier customer service email Survey negatively Being stuck on the side of the road far from home is scary and frustrating that's why I and I'm sure many others have AAA membership and waiting 4hrs for help is what my membership got me ...along with finding out from the people at Tires Plus's that my safety was compromised because my spare wheel was not tightened properly and could have fallen off. Let's face facts not a lot of options for us road warriors who need this service and until something happens we feel a false sense of security A very simple tire change ? Negative experience: At 945 I got a text message that said my driver would be here for a tire change at 10:10pm at 1100pm I called because my driver wasn’t here they said the driver would be here at 1130 it is now 1140 and the driver called and said it would be 1150 to 12am before he gets here. I am beyond pissed. For the absolute best tow company in the world this is garbage service. 2012 ford focus sel grey in color.

Negative experience: Called for tow (motorcycle). Took about 5 hrs. If that's what I pay for it's not particularly worth it. I understand phone service was interrupted, but you need more than 3 certified motorcycle tow drivers.

Fantastic experience: Had a mini panic attack today when my car didn’t start. Tech Rockie in the Jax area stopped in and seriously saved the day. Just a cool guy with a good attitude and willingness to help out. Get this guy a raise for just being a top notch human being.

Fantastic experience: I read mixed reviews for the AAA, but recently I just went to this location since its super close where I work. i have to get my passport photo done and since we are AAA members we get it for FREE! To be honest this was my first time being inside the AAA and it was very interesting inside. They have a receptionist and I was greeted when I entered their office. She was very friendly and helpful. She asked me for my AAA which I have but I think she can still look you up without your card but I guess it will just be easier. I told her I needed to get a photo for my passport, she then asked me to follow her and on the corner she took my picture with their professional camera. After that I waited for maybe 5 minutes and I got my photo! It was such a delightful experience. The inside was huge and very clean. they have a lot of brochure for traveling and they actually have a pretty competitive rates for their savings and other products which I didn't know they even offer.

Negative experience: SEVERELY DELAYED TOW! Not the first time either. I waited 7 hrs last time. I've been with AAA since 1997. I will likely cancel my membership. This is not the company they were just a few years ago. You'd do better by opening a tow fund account for emergencies. 19 hrs later and still waiting on a tow. Please spread the word and read up on other negative reviews. One after the other of unacceptably long wait times. Look for other services. Positive experience: My experience with Triple AAA was a solid one. They were a couple hours delayed which is only reason for the 4 stars. Thankfully I was not in a hurry, but the driver Anthony was Professional and courteous. Towed my car with no problems to the Shop. Would use again

Negative experience: Called them to request help with my tire all I need is air so I ca make it home… I’m not m a dark parking lot and was told that when they get somebody I will get a text….. no one texted me I called them back upset of course because I’m a women in dark parking lot waiting for them to tell me they are still reaching out…… I told them I’ve been with them for to long and they get worst ever year… and I pay them faithfully and want the service that is offered the man stated you are just getting air in your tire…. very disappointed

Negative experience: My wife called to get a tow truck yesterday morning at 8:15am. Was told there would be someone there by 10:30. At 11 my wife called because no one had showed up or called. This went on about 4 times throughout the day. Only to find out that they were assigning the job to companies that don’t service the area I live in. Meanwhile the following day we are still dealing with the same issue. Still at 10:30 on the second day no tow truck. What if this was an emergency and my wife and kids were on the side of the road. Aaa y’all dropped the ball on this one and I will no longer be using your services. If I could give a negative star review I would.

Negative experience: Called for a tow truck about 10-10:30 PM. Just needed help getting a tire off that was stuck, They sent a link and called with updates. Then about 12AM they asked if i called roadside assistance cause that would be faster. No, I pay for AAA. I called you. Then I check around 2 AM and the tow truck has been cancelled. I did NOT cancel it. I've been waiting for 4 hours on the side of the highway. I pay annually for over 20 years and never use it and the one time I need it, they don't show up. Will not be renewing.

Negative experience: This has nothing to do with the people that work in this office. I bought a AAA membership and when the time came to use it I called for a tow truck. I waited the entire day and no one showed up. I had to pay out of pocket to get a tow truck. I called AAA and they would not even give me a refund for my membership even though they never provided service when I asked for help. Do not buy AAA roadside assistance. They take your money but they don't help you when you need it. That's all I can say. It's a scam.

Negative experience: Popped a tire on the way back home from a store. Called AAA right after, at around 7:30 PM. I called their number multiple times to check in and they called back to update me. The customer service people I talked to were very friendly, however it was frustrating to be told that they had no ETA on a driver (for over 2 hours)! Eventually received multiple automated voice messages from them about the ETA of the driver and it was absurd how the wait time kept increasing. Initially, it was an ETA of around 11:31 PM. Received another one at 10:55 PM saying they'd arrive at 12:48 AM. Waiting almost 6 hours for a tow truck is INSANE. Would not recommend. Edited: 1:18 AM now.

Fantastic experience: My sister and I had a tire blow out in Jacksonville Florida ,right on busy expressway yesterday . DANGEROUS !!! My sister called AAA and we had Jimmy come save us in 1hour . My sister didn’t have a truck jack in her Nissan Frontier(?), so even though we had 7 total strangers stop, to help us change her tire , we waited on Jimmy . This young man (Jimmy) was FANTASTIC !!! He showed us which kind of carjack my sister would need to buy for her truck . He was kind , courteous, friendly and fast . I want to let the ladies know, there ARE truly some genuine gentleman left in Jacksonville Florida. Between Jimmy’s 100% customer service and 7 men stopping on the side of the road to try to help us out, our tire blow out turned out positive ! Thank you Jimmy …

Negative experience: Called AAA at 8 am sat the next 9 1/2 hours on the side of the road for service that never showed up . I don't recommend anyone to use this service if you live in a rural area cause they do not live up to their word ! Will no longer be useing AAA !

Negative experience: My fiancé put in a request at 2:48pm today when her vehicle broke down on the side of the road. They told her 175 minutes initially to get a tow, which is already a long time. When 5:55pm rolled around, and their app said they were going to arrive within 1 minute, the timer started over back up to 175 minutes. When she called in to see what was going on, they told her they promised they would have a tow there within 2 hours. When 2 hours rolled around, they said they wouldn’t be able to get her a tow truck until past 10pm. They lied to her on the phone, had her crying because her car broke down on her birthday and completely ruined her day. They wasted her money by not holding up to their promise of roadside assistance. They also wasted our time. I had to call a tow truck for her now and spend money on a tow service after I had already been a member with AAA to avoid this issue. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Give my fiancé her membership fee back and I want to be reimbursed for my tow service I purchased due to you not holding up to your end.

Negative experience: Had me waiting for 5 hours to get somebody to put air in my tire. Never received a call from anyone and when someone finally showed up after 5 calls and having to speak to a manager, the driver told me that they didn't give him my cell number like the customer service rep told me they would do. My mom and I have been AAA members for close to 20 years and the night I have had with this company its time to call it quits with AAA and their shotty service.

Negative experience: the people who took the call were great. However, I never got the tow truck that I needed. the time was being pushed back and back until it said 1130pm. I called at 1 30 p.m., and my brother ended up driving an hour and a half to JAX to tow my car

Positive experience: Easy to use trip tick launcher but had problems saving trip and printing. My husband was able to complete this on his PC.

Negative experience: DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE! They left my mothers car on the side of the road all night long which caused the catalytic converter to be stolen & are dragging their feet with the damage claim. I will literally push my car down the highway before I ever deal with theses people!!!

Negative experience: Have had a AAA membership for some time. My 67 year old wife is currently stranded in a dark parking lot with a dead battery. She has called repeatedly for over an hour, and can't get a return call. Don't buy into their sales BS about how good their service is. Will cancel my subscription as soon as I can get someone to answer the phone.

Fantastic experience: Super fast, I was in and out in no time. Got my IDP renewed and easy to roll! They even took my picture on the spot for $12.

Positive experience: We went to this office to get a map of Jacksonville, FL. since we are moving here and not familiar with the area. We found that it was difficult to find the office even using Google maps. But we did and the lady was very helpful and friendly. The office was clean.

Positive experience: This is a big office with alot of staff and the lady who helped us was very nice and quick in getting us the maps we needed.

Fantastic experience: Our vehicle broke down and I used AAA to get towed. Mike, who is from Bolivia, was absolutely awesome. To whom it may concern, this man deserves a raise, a bonus, and a paid vacation! He was courteous, he showed up in less than 30 minutes, was friendly, and very helpful. Best towing experience ever. Mike is the man!

Negative experience: Had a flat on my camper. Was told if I got a membership and paid an extra $50 they could come out today and fix it. So I paid membership and paid roadside the extra $50 ...but when it came to them coming out to fix it. They said it would be 72 hours before they could come out ..even tho the $50 was supposed to be to wave the 72 hour waiting time. So I cancelled Membership and the call to get my refund ... I had spoke to several people before I agreed to it. They All said it would be taken care of same day. I don't appreciate the deception from roadside. They agreed as well until I paid them the money.

Negative experience: Very bad customer service. Was denied service by this man. His exact words was “I already worked my 11 hours, and I won’t do an hour more” said with the NASTIEST attitude, and all we needed was air in ONE tire, and pay was offered. Mind you, he already had the air pump out for someone else. It feels racially motivated, tbh. He was very nice and kind to the white customers, but incredibly rude when approach by a black customer. This guy was a complete jerk. Shoutout to Hessco for being there instead.

Negative experience: Called AAA AT 9:30 AM, 22July 2022. I was at Sonny’s BBQ in St Augustine Fl. Battery was dead so I needed a jumpstart. When I spoke W/the young lady she said it could take up to 1-1/2 hours for help to arrive. I could live with that. An hour later I saw a Sonny’s employee and ask for help. He got an employee to come jumpstart us. I tried to cancel the appt w/AAA but only response I got was “could not cancel at this time”!! Tried calling them only to find a long waiting time. So I assumed they would call me before they came out anyway. At 2:15 PM (almost 5 hours later) I get a call, they said they just got the request that I needed help!! I thanked the gentleman, said I took care of my problem. AAA IS useless. I will not renew my service.

Positive experience: Google had us go into Publix for AAA that was not thier location the store employee daid across the street and down a little ways.That was wrong as well. AAA is actual in the same shopping center as Publix just at the other end of the row of shops . AAA of course was excellent and took care if all our needs as usual.

Positive experience: Didn't help as I thought they would

Negative experience: I would give a zero or negative number if I could. Left me hanging all day in a hot parking lot (over 97 degrees) I called at 2:35 PM, brought my motorcycle home myself in a horse trailer. Got home at 10:50 PM. The tow truck ETA was 4:35, never showed. AAA may as well not exist. The never contacted me back to see if I made it home. I could be dead and they wouldn't care. Their performance doesn't justify their existence. Total failure!

Positive experience: Got into a wreck needed my car towed. They had me waiting over 2 hrs however when they came the tow truck driver with Vice Towing, Ronnie, was super nice. He easily transported my car to the shop and even gave me a ride home. I really appreciate him and his help.

Negative experience: Called for assistance. My key was not working. Told me to go get spare key and try that ( they could not come out if I had spare key). I did . Still didn't work. Was able to get into car but battery was dead. Called them back to come out. In text said it was for locksmith. Locksmith called and told me to call them back. I called back was put on hold . Finally got though to a person and was told they would not come to check on battery because it was after 7 pm.waa told they have 24 hr emergency care, but apparently not to jump your car. Keep in mind this started at 5 and spent 2 hours dealing with them. If they would have answered my call. It would of been before 7 pm.

Negative experience: Triple AAA has terrible Service. Do Not bother getting a membership unless you want to deal with their customer service headaches. When you call for long distance service is the worse. I highly recommend searching for a different service. You will get the run around and when you ask to speak to a supervisor they will say (hold on while I transfer you) next thing you know you will be put back on Que and waiting for another representative that will do exactly the same that the first representative did. Trust me, it happened to me. It is a joke. Do Not get Triple AAA unless you want the headache and their disrespectful customer service reps. I suggest looking elsewhere. I have the Premier membership, which is their top of the line membership, and it is absolutely worthless. I will go physically into one of their offices to file a complaint as well as contact the Better Business Bureau.

Fantastic experience: Ronnie with Vice towing helped me out on Mothers day. My Jeep broke down and Ronnie made it a point to get there asap. Walked me through the process and I was able to get my Jeep so I could repair it. Thank you Ronnie. You made the process really smooth.

Negative experience: AAA is the worst experience ever if you ever have a breakdown and need a tow. Three or four times over since I have been a member a family member or myself have needed to get a tow because of a breakdown. We call in and am told thirty minutes to an hour someone will be there 4, 5, 6 hours later, still no tow truck. And as far as travel discounts, other organizations I belong to usually can get me a similar or even better deal. Save your money AAA is a rip-off! Their customer service is rock bottom unless they are trying to get your money.

Negative experience: I needed roadside service. First, I didn't get the membership renewal notice and I had to go through a long process to renew my membership. When I asked them why they didn't notify me though the many ways they have to contact me, they said the letter they sent me was returned undeliverable. I have lived at the same address for years. Then the best part. The window they gave me for roadside service was 5 hours! They expect me to wait around for 5 hours! when I questioned them, they said, "Sorry, we're busy." I called State Farm, who I also have roadside through, and they were there in 20 minutes. I know it all depends on timing, but seriously! I will never use AAA again. I have been a member for almost 20 years. No more! Now I get renewal notices all the time. Today, I got an email that they want to be my Valentine. Makes me want to throw up!

Negative experience: The experience with getting a tow truck was horrible. I called AAA for tow truck service at 3:30pm 1/29/22 and 2 hrs later someone called me back to tell me that the truck was going to take long than expected. I was supposed to get another call back to give an ETA. At 7pm I spoke with another agent to request a manager and was never connected. I decided to call a local towing company. They arrived in about 15 mins. I've been with AAA for over 20yrs and have never experienced this. I haven'tneeded a tow in about 5yrs. I will be at the branch looking for a refund for this local tow. I will not be renewel my membership.

Negative experience: I called to have my car towed around 7 pm tonight and was told the tow truck would be here around 10:15pm. Well, that time came and went and I called AAA back. I was told that the tow job had been denied by multiple perspectives and that I’d get a call from the rep when a driver picks up the job. It’s now 1:33am and I am still sitting here waiting for a tow truck. AAA has to be the worst at getting service out to you. This isn’t the first time they have been inefficient in doing their job for me.

Negative experience: We put in a roadside request after our car got stuck in some wet grass out front of a friends house. We waited for 3 hours and when I finally called back in AAA said they couldn’t reach the tow truck and at 9pm there was nothing they could really do. I put a new request the next day at 3pm and again waited for over 3 hours. When I called in this time, they said the truck accepted but then declined the order and no one was coming again. Finally on the 3 rd day we just contacted a tow directly and paid out of pocket. It was resolved within an hour when handling directly. AAA service is a complete waste of money just to be left stranded when you actually need them. Don’t waste your time or money with them.

Negative experience: Had to wait over 13 hours for road assistance, tried to complain at the website, re routed to the local page, no place to complain, tried to leave a email for the manager, it is blocked. horrible experience, they are not what they used to be. I feel sorry for the people that have to wait for over 10 hours in a highway or in another city

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love my triple A membership, it's so worth having. Every person that has came out to me has been super nice and quick and my one and only complaint is the wait time, it take a good hour to get help... but the help has been accurate, courteous, and just good people. I do have the platinum card and will keep it renewed.

Negative experience: I have been waiting since 12 pm to get a tow. It’s 9:00 at night I haven’t been able to reach anyone on the phone. I’ve had no information as to why this is taking this long. I reserved the tow at 9am this morning and the ETA has changed multiple times absolutely the worse. This is the first and last time I will continue this membership service.

Negative experience: I ordered for a tow truck made me wait 4 1/2 hours to tell me that they don’t have any tow trucks available for me to ask a whole different towing company to come help me don’t waste your time and money waiting on the phone to help you they’re really slow and don’t care about you also don’t get me started with the app it’s poorly designed you signed up and try to check for the eta it doesn’t tell you so you have to call them and wait 4 hours

Negative experience: AAA roadside assistance which has you waiting hours longer than posted. 90 minutes was the ETA through their App. is long enough, but it’s now going on 3.5 hours.
