It is now 12:10 and they just now pulled my car into the shop , but only after I 7complained to the service representative. Who knows how long it Iwould have been if I hadn't said anything. I've been a member for 7 years so this is not my first time, but I will probably cancel my membership now

Negative experience: Wanted to charge me nearly 1000$ dollars to repair my car, and the issues they cited weren't even the problem. I took it elsewhere and got it fixed for less.

Negative experience: If I could give this location zero stars, that’s what I would do. The car (2012 Honda CRV) was stalling and went in for a diagnostic and action plan. They had the car for less than 30 minutes and came back to me saying I needed a new catalytic converter to the tune of about $2,100 and that would just be the “initial estimate” as I’d likely need both catalytic converters replaced, not just one, but they “wouldn’t know until they got in there.” Then, “who knows what other parts would need to be fixed/replaced once work began and the bill would likely increase from there.” Decided to start on a path to just buy a new car since it wouldn’t have made sense to invest more than $3k into this admittedly older vehicle. Had my personal mechanic look at the car to see if he could punch out the converter to buy me some time and upon immediate review, he could see with certainty that the car’s issue had nothing to do with either catalytic converter!!! Surprise: it was a COMPLETE MISDIAGNOSIS by AAA. The actual issue had nothing even close to do with either catalytic converter as it was a broken timing chain!!!! Upon fixing the timing chain for less than $2k, the car is back on the road without issue and no new car needed to be purchased ultimately saving thousands of dollars. After reflecting on the experience, I can’t even confirm that anyone at AAA ever even popped the hood. If I was a woman with fewer resources and had moved forward with their diagnosis and recommendation, I would have likely spent more than $3.5k to replace two catalytic converters and the car STILL WOULD NOT HAVE WORKED. Note the many other terrible reviews here. If you’re getting an oil change or tire rotation, this is probably a fine place to go. If you need any other actual automotive diagnostics or immediate support, go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Went here for them to replace two tires. Asked them to put the rear tires on the front, they ended up throwing the (Rear Tires) away and left the bad tires on the car. They even wrote on the service ticket what to do and it was ignored. When asked what happened, there was no accountability, the manager sucks, they dont care about the client but just making money. There was no solution to this issue, best they could do was mount and balance the new tires I now need to buy for no charge. Take your business elsewhere, dont spend your money here on even a water.

Fantastic experience: Todd Stevens , Scott Frances , Glenn & Niko are and awesome set of guys . the automotive mechanics are friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable . I've been taking my cars there for 2 years now , and have never had any problems with pricing and warranty on parts.

Negative experience: I took my car to them and my one problem turned into 10 problems then I got my car back and it started making even louder noises and I had to take it back and apparently it had another problem I agreed to let them fix one part and once I went to pick it up apparently it was additional problems that they fixed without my knowledge then on top of that Todd Woodard was rude and getting smart knowing I didn’t give him permission to fix additional stuff. I will never bring my car back to them. Idk if they messing stuff up on purpose to get more money or just don’t know what they doing. Only positive thing I can say is Nico was very helpful.

Fantastic experience: Honest caring and accommodating. Have brought several vehicles here for maintenanceand repair as while as my mom. They have been super helpful in easing my mind when car troubles start and want to be sure my family has a safe way to travel. Their prices are fair and they do their best to get you in quickly especially if you are having problems.

Negative experience: Stopped in at 4 pm to try to get international drivers license but told the person who does them leaves at 3pm. We called this location an hour earlier to try to ask about timing. No one picked up the phone. We thought the place was slamming busy but when we showed up, not a single customer. Nothing on the website warns they can’t process the drivers license after 3pm on a Saturday. The store closes at 5pm. We drove 25 min to and from this store. Inconsiderate lack of communication for customers who have limited time on their weekends to get this stuff done.

Negative experience: I went in this morning to get 2 tires dismounted of my brand new GR corolla wheels, all was well until they were dismounted on the inner side on a forged wheel instead of using the outer side of the rim. Not sure why they did this but very disappointed as my two new wheels now have clamp dents and now i will need to get these repaired and re sprayed.

Fantastic experience: Helpful service with a smile! I came in with an oil leak desperately needing just enough oil to get me to my doctors appointment and to a retail shop to buy more oil so I wasn't running dry. The folks here took care of me quickly, not giving me the bare minimum but FILLING my oil up. I was able to rush to my doctors appointment in time and get home safely. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: I live out of state and my vehicle would not start. It was night time. I had AAA tow it to their service center and hoped for the best. Not knowing when it could be fixed or how much this would cost, I was very worried. The center at White Marsh put me at ease from my first call. The vehicle was fixed very quickly...I needed a starter and the cost was acceptable. It was expensive but all car repairs are these days. I was treated very fairly and that's all anyone can ask.

Fantastic experience: Moved to Philly and needed to get my car registered. AAA was amazing overall. The process of getting my ‘electronic’ title from my previous state was the hardest part. AAA had the wrong fax number and I had to follow up several times both with my vehicle financier and AAA. I was in a rush due to my registration expiring in the same month in the previous state. After getting my title, the process moved along incredibly smoothly. David in the title department, Regina and Jason in the insurance department and Juan in the mechanic shop took care of all my business in a few hours. I recommend getting an appointment ahead of time for everything including your inspection. Overall, it was a smooth process. I’ve been a AAA member for over 40 years and the company always seems to deliver a quality experience. Thanks!

Negative experience: I am definitely use to a different AAA experience than I received here. Usually they really check over your car refill all the low fluids lube everything with your oil change. Not at this AAA I was very disappointed. Not even a printout of the checks they performed.

Negative experience: I have received the absolute worst customer service that I have received in my life from this location. On Monday 8/28/2023 at 3:43pm, I left out of my job and had a flat tire. I called AAA for assistance and the driver arrived in a AAA van at 4:44pm. He proceeds to remove my tire and put on my spare & at some point during this process, he breaks one of my lug nuts or bolts or whatever it's called. Accidents happen. He called his supervisor who advised that I should not drive the vehicle and should go to a tire repair shop. The supervisor advises me that they will be paying for the repair. I ask the driver to just follow me 1.1miles to a AAA care care center so that we can get it repaired. We get to the AAA car care center around 5:30pm and upon walking in, we are greeted by a gentleman who directs us over to the car care counter. When we get to the counter, after standing there for maybe 2 minutes and not being acknowledged, another customer comes in behind us. At that point, both of us are acknowledged and we tell them what is going on and that I need service. The gentleman behind us is there to pick up his car. The staff member proceeds to say that he is going to check out the guy BEHIND ME and will then help me. WHAATTTT Once they start my write-up, they point out that it's now close to 6pm closing time so of course, they will have to look at my car tomorrow (Tuesday). Fast forward to Tuesday, it's 1:30pm and I have not heard from anyone with a status or anything. I call and get in the queue for a call back when someone is available. Fast forward to 3pm and then 3:30p, I still have not heard from anyone. Finally at 5:08pm someone calls me from the AAA car care center just to tell me that they were not able to get to my car and it will be "next" first thing Wednesday morning. Wednesday comes and it's 12:30pm and I have not heard from anyone, so I call for a status update. No answer. At 1:59pm, I get a call back from someone finally BUT he is advising me that they STILL HAVE NOT LOOKED AT MY CAR but it's next. So they have had my car for 17.5 working hours and no one has looked at anything. AND I made the terrible mistake of googling how long this repair should take and it said less than an hour. This cannot be real life!!! At 5:17pm, I call back again, can't get anyone on the line, select a different option and the AAA rep tries to get someone at the car care center. She is able to get someone on the line who says that he JUST got my work order in his hand and my service is complete. Wonderful right? Nope! So the supervisor of the rep that broke the lug nut is paying for the service. So I let the guy know this AGAIN (as this information was provided when we dropped the car off and they provided them with his number to call him when they are ready to receive payment) and he says to me that he will give that person a call TOMORROW to receive the payment! NO....I want my car today. NOW the AAA car care center worker, can't figure out what he is supposed to do to be able to take the payment. At this point, I am beyond IRATE and I advise him just to ask someone else or call someone else on the phone for assistance because I would like to pick up my car as I have been stranded at home for 2 days with no car and unable to go to work. No, I can't just uber or lyft the hour to work because then I would be submitting a reimbursement "request" to AAA which could be denied which would further send me over the edge. I even looked up public transportation which would take over 3 hours with a combination of walking, bus, train and lyft. He tells me that he is there alone, has other customers that he needs to assist and does not know who to call nor have the ability to call anyone for assistance because he left his phone at home. I have to be being punked. Needless to say, I will NEVER visit again nor would I advise anyone to use this location. I would drive up interstate 95 with no wheel and flames coming from my car before I ever set foot at this location again!!

Negative experience: The quality and customer service is a joke and this is completely not worth the money. I went online to get a tow truck at 4:50PM and received a text at that time an approximate arrival of 5:46PM at 5:12PM received a message that the truck would arrive at 6:26PM. At 6:23PM received a call from the driver they would arrive in 20 minutes. Finally at 8:00PM after no further contact from the driver or AAA I called to find the status. The representative told me the driver came and could not tow the car because it was inaccessible because cars were parked around it. This was a TOTAL LIE!!!!!!!!!!!! The car is the last car parked before a no stopping area from it to the corner which has been empty all day and night. If the person actually showed up respectful customer service would have suggested I receive a call to let me know the situation that I could have rectified since there was nothing in front of the vehicle. Just another example of paying for something where the provider does not care about the customer.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional and rude! I went inside AAA for an appt I had @5:00. This was my first time in there. Nobody greeted me. This man (Glenn Wychryst) was at the desk, looked at me multiple times, continued his conversation with somebody that was done their service, and still didn’t say anything. One man walked out of the office and asked was I helped yet and pointed me where to go. As I walk towards the desk, Glenn STILL doesn’t acknowledge me. The other man started to call Glenn’s name as i’m waiting for him to approach me. Then Glenn acts like he sees me. Towards the end of my appt, I bring out my phone to take a picture of the business card, then Glenn wants to start using his good customer service by saying “have a good evening”. This is very unacceptable and I will not be wasting my time at AAA white marsh again.

Negative experience: Treated horribly by the assistant manger. He did not address any of my concerns or questions. He was condescending and treated me as if I was nothing. He literally ignored me and walked away from the front counter on two separate occasions. I asked why would I need a battery replacement after 1 year and feat would cause a battery to die so soon he yelled “Idk why we have to test it” I awaited testing asked again. And received the same response, he walked away on the phone and when he returned he still failed to acknowledge me. I am a blank woman so I felt a very racist as well as sexist vibe. I’m sure my brother would not have gotten this treatment. Nor a different color woman. I would never EVERR come back but I am going to get my battery because I have a warranty but from here on I WILL CONTINUE TO PURCHASE PARTS FROM THE MANUFACTURER ♀️

Fantastic experience: We got towed to this location last week after breaking down on I95 and from the second they opened in the morning they were nothing but helpful. We were not from the area or even the state and Tim did everything he could to make us as happy as possible given the diagnosis (new engine). The amazing mechanic spent time trying to figure out what was wrong (I didn’t get his name but thank you) and in the end we had to tow it back to NY. Cheryl also helped us with a rental car which we couldn’t have done without her as it was damn near impossible to find a car rental that was just a one way to a different state. We felt so lucky given our bad luck with the car, that we ended up here with the nicest/most helpful people and it definitely made things so much easier for us. We’re not from the area so we won’t be back but definitely recommend this location and this staff, thank you for everything !

Negative experience: I Went To These Guy A Couple Of Time And Everytime I Had The Same issue the manager Was Very rude. They claim I needed $2600 worth of work get the truck two weeks later and it’s still doing the same thing I will be contacting my lawyer.

Fantastic experience: Got a reasonably priced oil change and they performed safety check with recommendations for possible upcoming maintenance issues.
Negative experience: I took my vehicle in for a TPMS light that was staying on. The tech was kind enough to check the PSI in my tires but informed me that there was a “communication issue” with my tire sensors. I took my car to the dealer which had the proper equipment and learned that there was NO communication issue with my sensors. Come on AAA, get it together.

Negative experience: They ask for money ALL THE TIME. I give them a NEGATIVE 0. They DO NOT HELP at all!!!! Drove to Towson in my car went to court came out of court found my car was messed up wouldn't drive needed a tow had NO MONEY I was freaking out called TRIPLE A and a girl spoke to me on the phone told me I had to have money and a specific plan and specific number of credits just to get the help I needed did not guarantee that I could have a way back home. Just because I have not called and used triple A so many times does not mean I shouldn't have enough CREDIT to get HELP. Also they said they charge me $5 every mile of it's more than a specific amount of miles and said If I don't have the money as soon as the tow gets there or after dropped off they can't help me with my car! Said it costs another $5 just to not get stranded and only take my car home and not me with my car! Kept asking me to PAY for different plans that were expensive and charged me $50 for the whole Towing! Do these people not help for free??? I had to take my mother's money when I was finally able to get home and now I am in debt. I don't want to even be a member if I already am since I have a CaRD for triple a I would rather choose a different place perhaps Carshield.
Negative experience: Greetings, I have 2 sets of tires, summer and all season but only 1 set of wheels. On 6/6/2022 I had the summer tires mounted for $79.96. which I think is a great deal. Five months later on 11/14/2022 I had the all season tires mounted for $119.96, I was told that these performance tires are harder to mount so the price increased. Ok, it is what it is. Unfortunatly 2 of the wheel center caps were damaged when they were removed in the process on 11/14/2022. I didn't realize it until got the car home. I called the shop about the missing parts hoping that someone there would find them. Unfortunatly the missing parts were not found. However I was offered a free oil change to compensate me. Thank you but no thank you. The person changing the tires did not pay attention to details when he reinstalled the center caps enough to complete the job correctly or possibly he didn't care. There is NO WAY I am going to let them touch my engine because I am not willing to let them mess that up also. In conclusion AAA Auto Repair Shop gets 1 star from me because my car was damaged in their shop, no one said anything about it and I have to replace the wheel center caps myself. Thomas Elam

Negative experience: The work that was done didn;t fix the problem. We have been unable to contact anyone regarding this. The store employee gave us the name of somone who isn't reachable. Very dissastisfied with how this was handled. Stay away from there, they will tell you they can fix your car, won't be able to fix your car, will charge a lot of money then say too bad.. Finally was able to take my car back and they now claim the air works. No on e from corporate has co reacted ya. What a waste!

Positive experience: I went in for alignment. The customer interface was unfriendly, it's like someone was not happy to be there, or not happy to see you! The job was done but everything was not adjusted to specs, especially the rear toe and camber (everything did not turn green after, on the printout). I had to ask for printout before I was given, I thought customers should be given alignment report automatically. The store was clean and beautiful. If you're interfacing customers, you must be friendly and welcoming otherwise it's not a right fit.

Negative experience: I have been going to AAA White Marsh for a couple years. In the past I received good service and recommended to friends. Not anymore. I scheduled to have and oil changed and windows repaired. The front windows were not operating. The man that scheduled my appointment read back to me what he scheduled and the time of appointment. I took car in oil was changed and a note that windows needed to be repaired. I asked why windows weren't repaired. Rob said we don't just repair when we find something wrong, you need to schedule this. I said I did schedule it to be done today. He raised his voice and said no you didn't. I said I assure you I did. The guy that made the appointment read back to me what he scheduled. So Rob said I also needed new brake pads. He scheduled appointment for brake pads and windows fixed. I was unable to make the next appointment due to snow and icy roads so I called to reschedule. I spoke to Brian. He said he was the new assistant manager. He scheduled an appointment for brake pads and window repair. He read back to me what was being done (windows and brake pads) date/time. I show up for appointment. Talked to Brian. He says I don't have an appointment. I said are you the new guy. He said yes I am the new manager. I said I spoke to you on the phone. He said it wasn't me I would remember. (It was him I remembered his name) He said I need brake pads and rotors. I said nothing was said to me about rotors. I got the previous invoice and showed him where Rob has hand written brake pads and windows on the front of the invoice for work to be done. Rob stood right there and looked me square in the face and said he told me rotors. I said you told me exactly what you wrote. Nothing about rotors. I guess these two guys talked when I went out to get my previous invoice from my car. When I made my original appointment I was told the window was probably just a fuse. Brian made a new invoice which included $99 diagnostic test for the windows. I asked why that was added since I was told it was probably a fuse. Now sure what changed at this location. I think it is a disgrace to AAA to have people like this representing this company. They are the face of AAA. Surely you can do better.

Fantastic experience: Bought tires in May. Excellent warranty. Had a flat tire they scheduled an appointment to plug the hole from the nail for free. Somehow managed to get another flat they asked that I leave my car for the day due to their hefty schedule. Called & finished it sooner than expected!

Negative experience: Awful. Paid $8,100 for an "engine replacement"... The photos attached are the FIRST time I picked it up, and after 11 miles the belts came off. I lost power steering and brakes... I was doing 55mph on 695 when it happened. I genuinely thought I was about to die. A 4,600 hunk of metal with no brakes or steering. Scary, right? It gets better. Trust me. I took it back. They kept it another week, and now I can't put gas in it. Seriously. Pump just clicks because it thinks my tank is full. The vapors are pushing against the nozzle, or gas is coming back up the tube. Gotta wait until Monday (J&H tires are going to perform a full inspection behind everything on the invoice) to see what they did wrong. Again. For $8,100... You'd think I'd have a working vehicle. I don't. It starts very rough, has a check engine light on (ironic considering this was supposed to be an entire engine replacement), blew my AC compressor out (the belt failure broke it I'm guessing) and it needs MORE work then when it went in. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT GO HERE.

Negative experience: I told my 2015 Nissan rogue in for repair. However, after charging me $860.93 and bringing the vehicle back 3 times thereafter they were unable to fully repair it. The manager Richard Burke refused to acknowledge work was incomplete. He also refused to issue a refund as well as was very rude.

Fantastic experience: The customer service is awesome. They didn't just tell me what was wrong with my car, but took me into the shop and showed me. The tire had a leak and they were able to mark and show me the puncture. Unfortunately, it couldn't be patched and needed to be replaced. The prices are very reasonable

Negative experience: Poor customer service especially Rob, rude and not nice to talk to, he told me complimentary tire rotation but they never did and my wheel lock is missing after I had my SUV service with them, needs a lot of training for staff anger management and customer service.

Fantastic experience: I have been there twice now and both times were smooth and also just a good experience in general. Very helpful and friendly staff! Rob answered all my questions and probably talked me into several return services! I had no idea AAA had an auto service. I thought it was all travel. Silly me. Glad I heard about the car care because they are now my regular mechanic! I also got my headlights restored after being told they were too far gone and needed replaced. I am confident with not being lied to or upsold just for big bucks. That is everything when dealing with a mechanic! Ohhh and AAA always sends me lots of coupons for discounts so I have saved on both visits! If you're looking for car service check them out!

Negative experience: My car tire was flat one morning, with a screw or nail in the center tread, and I called AAA to tow my car to this facility. The tow driver showed up late and smelled like weed but I let him take it anyway. When I called the shop 2 days later (BECAUSE I NEVER RECIEVED ANY CALLS SINCE HAVING THE CAR TOWED) a guy proceeded to tell me it would be ready by the end of the day, as well as telling me the incompetent tow driver left my keys IN THE IGNITION OF MY CAR FOR 2 DAYS. Never got a call from them after that so I decided to call them, AGAIN, an hour before they closed. A somewhat rude woman answered and then told me that the tire was unpatchable(apparently I had another nail in my tire on the sidewall which was baffling to me as I inspected the tire before it was towed) and I needed to fork over 200 bucks for one tire replacement. I fought tooth and nail just to get them down to 100 because I had just put the tires on 6 months ago, if I had had a patch kit and a compressor I would've done it myself. But eventually it happened and I paid and went on my way after the half price discount. Probably about 10 minutes into driving a bunch of lights turned on on the dash and my car started "sputtering" in way, kinda felt like slipping transmission or something. Regardless, my car has never done this before and the whole ordeal has gone beyond inconvenience and aggravation. It seems to me like incompetent employees with a manager that can't handle an upset customer, instead directs them to roadside assistance like I'm stuck on the road or something. Very dissatisfied with the service and may be following up with litigation.

Negative experience: It wasn't good at all had my car towed there due to engine smoking and smelling like burning they had my car for over a week when they called to say it was done I picked it up started driving home and noticed smoke plus my ac was blowing hot air opened the hood and it was the same thing going on when it was towed charged me 450 dollars over top of the 600 before that also the mechanic who worked on my car left all the trash and rings and clamps near my engine totally no happy
