Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of working with My Costa Rica. I must say, all those I worked with exceeded my expectations! From the moment I engaged with Jason, I felt welcomed and valued as a customer. The quality of my experience was outstanding—definitely worth every penny. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and the exceptional customer service. I am picky as well as indecisive. They were always ready to assist and answered ALL my questions promptly. I changed aspects of my trip multiple times. Not once was I made to feel like I was inconveniencing them. I genuinely appreciate how they go above and beyond to ensure this will be the perfect trip for my family. Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Riu Guanacaste. My Costa Rica arranged everything for me! With all my daily responsibilities back home, it was so wonderful not to have to think about anything for a few days except how to enjoy myself. The staff at My Costa Rica were wonderful - providing all the necessary information about my stay prior to my arrival, throughout the trip, and even after my return. They responded promptly to every question and request. I would definitely use them again to arrange travel to Costa Rica!

Fantastic experience: We absolutely loved our vacation to Costa Rica! Ending the trip in Drake Bay was the perfect finale. The accommodations at La Paloma Lodge were incredible—we were even upgraded to a large villa! The staff, service, and food were outstanding, making our stay feel truly special and pampered. With the hotel being so quiet (only about eight guests), it felt like a private retreat. The tours were also fantastic; the team went above and beyond to provide an excellent experience. A highlight was seeing dolphins and whales on our snorkeling trip—an unforgettable moment! All the hotels were great, each offering a unique experience in terms of service and accommodation. The food at El Parador was exceptional, probably the best of all the places we stayed. While the room felt a bit dated, the service made up for it. The Monteverde Lodge was another favorite; it had a lovely atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. We stayed in for all our meals and thoroughly enjoyed them. The Royal Corin was probably my least favorite. While the service was friendly and the food good, the overall vibe of the hotel didn’t quite resonate with us—it felt a bit pretentious. However, the geothermal pools were a treat, especially since we encountered the worst weather of the trip there. Breakfasts at all the hotels were excellent, with plenty of variety. The dinner in San José, however, was a bit disappointing. We had high hopes for a fine dining experience, but it ended up being our least favorite meal. The tours and transportation throughout the trip were flawless. Every driver and guide was punctual, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. We felt completely safe on the roads and thoroughly enjoyed the diversity and beauty of Costa Rica’s rainforests. The night tour in Monteverde was a standout—our guide was amazing and even shared his photos with us. Monteverde itself felt magical. Thank you for letting everyone know it was our anniversary! Each establishment acknowledged it in such thoughtful ways, which was a lovely and much-appreciated touch. The tour in Monteverde even gifted us a bottle of wine for the occasion.

Fantastic experience: My Costa Rica found a nice resort right on the ocean, right where we wanted to be. They are super easy to work with and always reply back quickly. I will work with them again hopefully in the very near future. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My Costa Rica agency made a hassle free visit possible to Costa Rica from California for our group of 18! Half adults, half kids and we all couldn't be happier for being able to dedicate our vacation time to enjoy our destination attractions, events, lodgings and time with each other without having an inkling of a worry about logistics. The agents are very helpful and considerate. They communicated promptly with us during the planning stage and secured all our events and attractions, multiple hotels and all transportation to and from every point. It was well worth having them handle all ticketing and transportation costs so that we weren't dealing with constant monetary transactions in foreign currency. All we worried about was paying for our meals and tipping. If it sounds simple, it's because it was! The agents also checked in with us throughout our stay. I'm glad we used MyCostaRica.org agency and would do it again. Costa Rica quickly became one of our most beloved destinations and it was made easy with the right travel logistics partner. Fantastic experience: We just returned from our first trip to Costa Rica - best vacation ever! Since it was our first time visiting, I decided to use a travel agency to help plan, and I am SO happy I did. I have nothing but the highest praise for Lorena, Kathleen, Vlad and others at My Costa Rica (costarica.org) From the weeks of planning to the end of the trip, the communication with them was stellar. They gave us helpful information beforehand and answered all our questions promptly. I was comforted knowing they were a phone call away or available on WhatsApp at any time during our trip if we needed assistance. They checked in with us several times during our trip to make sure all was going smoothly. We visited La Fortuna, Tamarindo and Manuel Antonio. We loved every location, and all the excursions My Costa Rica helped us plan. The ziplining with Sky Trek Ziplines in Arenal/La Fortuna was an absolute blast. SO beautiful ziplining in the misty mountains. I will never forget it. The catamaran/snorkeling with Planet Dolphin in Manuel Antonio was SO fun. Beautiful large catamaran, the wonderful staff served us a delicious lunch, drinks/cocktails were included, they played great music throughout, the water slide was so fun. A great day on the water! The hotels they chose for us - Los Lagos Hotel, Spa and Resort in La Fortuna, The Occidental in Tamarindo, and Hotel San Bada in Manuel Antonio - were all lovely with friendly, helpful staff. The natural hot springs throughout the property at Los Lagos were just wonderful. We stayed at four hotels (including one quick overnight at the Hampton Inn near the San Jose Airport) did five different excursions, and had five different drivers over the entirety of the trip, and we had not ONE hiccup of any kind. Not one glitch. Everything went so incredibly smoothly, and that's due to the experience, planning and choices that My Costa Rica made for us. It's kind of a joke in our family of how we always seem to have small AND big travel glitches on all of our trips, and this trip had NONE. Smooth as glass! I would HIGHLY recommend using costarica.org for your travel planning, and we will definitely use them again next time we return to Costa Rica! Pura Vida!!!

Fantastic experience: My Costa Rica is an excellent organization. From the minute I took a chance, after doing a random Google search, to us walking through the door back home, My Costa Rica took care of our vacation! Their site made it very easy to take what was an overwhelming number of options and tailor it down to what worked for our family. This was our kids' first trip overseas and I don't feel like they got a true feel for the hassles that normally go along with travel because everything went so smoothly. We were able to converse over email and tweak our itinerary in the planning stages to fit our budget and pace. Jason was able to shift everything when our flights got changed and was super understanding. It was so nice to be able to actually call someone and talk through our questions. Lorena did an amazing job once everything was booked. She sent us quite a few links to prepare us for the trip and the best part was sending us a picture of who to expect at the airport for pick-up a week before we even flew out! She then checked on us through out or time there. Costa Rica's nation wide wifi made communication and 24/7 connection super convenient. We used What's App to send any questions or requests and heard back almost immediately. Maikel did a great job helping us and being our connection between the drivers and our resorts. She and our driver went out of their way to help us purchase a Costa Rican jersey- we drove out of the way and found an awesome deal! Overall, My Costa Rica picked our resorts, booked the rooms, picked & booked our tours based on our interests and arranged for the transportation between it all. The only thing we had to worry about was dinner! I was super impressed when the tour books sang the praises of our resort called Cariblue and said it was hard to get into- and then I realized that was exactly where we were headed. Hand down, I would recommend anyone and everyone to use their service!

Fantastic experience: My Costa Rica did an amazing job in helping me plan my vacation, from customizing tours to my interest to airport pick-up and drop-off. I was nervous about my trip (especially when it was my first real vacation in 22 years) and the fact I would be traveling to a different country. Fantastic experience: My husband and I spent 10 days traveling to LaPaz, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio, and Arenal thru My Costa Rica Vacations in September and we had the most amazing time! We are so glad we made our arrangements thru this company and allowed them to make recommendations on the itinerary and the accommodations. By having ground transportation between destinations booked in advance we were able to relax and take in all the beautiful scenery. The transportation guides were prompt (sometimes even a few minutes early!), friendly and informative. The tours that were booked were provided by reputable companies and the guides were professional and knowledgeable and eager to show us the best experience possible. From the planning and scheduling of each resort and excursions to making sure we got where we needed to be on-time; everything was both worry and stress free. Itinerary was perfect. Drivers were all amazing, Excursions were awesome. For a novice vacation especially, My Costa Rica was a dream come true.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about our trip to Costa Rica and the planning done by MyCostaRica.org. Their help in making decisions on where to stay and what activities to do were extremely valuable. They are for real and do everything they say they will do...and more. The communication was over the top from planning, to getting ready to travel, during the travel, and after our arrival home. I would highly recommend letting them do the driving...everywhere! It was so nice having all the driving planned for us. They were never late and the drivers and guides were some of the most kind people we have ever met. They were knowledgeable and willing to let us stop and do anything along the way to our destination. Including making stops we didn't even know we needed! Let them also schedule guides for the things you have planned. Having guides made this trip "the best"! If you do the hike at the Arenal Hanging Bridges...as for Harvin to be your guide. One thing I would do different next time...if staying at the Peace Lodge I would make sure to stay two nights. Thank you MyCostaRica.org for making this a fabulous family vacation!

Fantastic experience: Jason was amazing to deal with! We were trying to go through other avenues and we couldn't get the trip we wanted. Jason came through and created an adventure for our group of 14! We can't wait for January!

Fantastic experience: Our family had a fantastic time! Views were beautiful, activities (zip lining, nature tours, repelling down waterfalls) were so much fun, and the tour guides were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The accommodations were amazing as well! Can’t wait to go back! We went in early August which is the start of the wet season there, but the rain came and went every day and only stopped our kid from surfing our last day there. I can’t leave out the food and coffee. Plate lunches at a soda in San Jose after landing was one of our best meals there. Each hotel we were at also had restaurants that served up anything from burger to sushi to local fare. All of this would not have been possible without MyCostaRica taking what we were looking to do and turning it into a perfect 8-day trip!

Fantastic experience: Although I haven't been on my trip yet, I felt like I needed to write a review on their customer service. An absolute 5-star experience. Firstly, they custom built me an amazing vacation package tailored to my needs. As the trip progressed, I required changes. They did an exceptional job of modifying the trip quickly and according to my specifications. What really amazed me about Jason and his group, were how quickly they responded to my questions and requests. I was happily surprised!

Fantastic experience: The trip was amazing and the team at My Costa Rica was extremely helpful both in setting up the trip and in answering questions while we were on our trip. In setting up the trip, they made wonderful recommendations and were responsive to changes we wanted to make to the itinerary. We had a great time during all of our tours with great tour guides. Our hotels were perfect. I would definitely book with them again.

Fantastic experience: I was becoming very overwhelmed with planning our trip to Costa Rica when a patient of mine gave me the name and contact information for My Costa Rica. I contacted Jason (the owner) and had a wonderful conversation with him about what I was already thinking. Keep in mind I had already done some research and had a pretty good idea of the areas we wanted to go to and things we wanted to do. He was a wealth of information and gave some tips and suggestions that I had not considered/thought of. He very quickly put an example itinerary together for me with a list of all possible excursions. I began to tweak the itinerary from there. I think we went back and forth maybe 4 or 5 times tweaking the itinerary so that it was exactly what we were looking for. All 3 of the resorts that they suggested were wonderful.(Side note that the basic rooms at Hotel Poco a Poco in Monteverde are a little tight for 4 people but very lovely little boutique hotel right in the heart of town.) Jason and his staff arranged everything for us from airport pickup, hotels, excursions with pick ups, transfers between La Fortuna, Monteverde and Tamarindo and transfer back to the airport. We decided to have private transfers because I had read that the roads and drivers could be a little crazy. They really didn't seem all that crazy but I am also used to bigger city traffic and crazy drivers. All of our pickups for everything were right on time and a few were even early and waiting on us. 2 out of 3 of our private drivers were absolutely wonderful and very informative along the drive. Our last one didn't talk at all but I am not so sure that he spoke much English. I did need to reach out one time during our trip with a question and Kathleen was very quick to respond. She was very quick to respond anytime before the trip as well. Jason and his staff took away all the stress I was feeling of trying to figure out every aspect of this trip. We really want to go back and visit the southern part of the country and I will definitely be reaching out to Jason and his staff again to help plan that trip.

Fantastic experience: I am quite impressed and satisfied with MyCostaRica. From the starting point of coordination and creating my itinerary, though onsite/on call connections, until post trip follow-ups - they made me feel safe, heard, and taken care of. As a solo female traveler I was a little worried at first with traveling around on my own, but MyCostaRica staff were all very professional and knowledgeable. They really did a great job and I loved all of my tours and excursions, hotels were nice too. Great people, great service, and just a great time all around. I have even suggested a family trip to my parents through My Costa Rica.

Fantastic experience: My family of 3 (ages late 40s and a 12 year-old) and my parents decided to visit Costa Rica to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday in July 0f 2024. We contacted My Costa Rica and requested an itinerary, and we started working together to come up with a trip. They worked so wonderfully with us, and really helped us ensure we planned activities that we all could enjoy for all of our ages and abilities. We absolutely loved our trip! Everything from the food to the transports to the activities were perfect. The sights were abundant and simply amazing. We visited the La Fortuna area, Monteverde, and Guanacaste beach areas. We also made a trip into La Fortuna and Santa Elena to shop a little and have dinner. It was fun to see the towns too but loved the forests, ocean and hot springs. We listened to the birds and different insects making soothing sounds. We stayed at 3 hotels. The Westin in Guanacaste and Los Lagos near Volcán Arenal were our favorite. The Westin was an amazing way to end the trip with every need being met with the wonderful staff. Los Lagos was simply amazing with the volcano as a view from the front of our rooms to the extremely relaxing hot springs. There were so many hot springs to choose from and different temperates. The sounds and sights at both were breathtaking. Trapp Family Lodge had amazing views of the Cloud Forest in Monteverde. We had several activities planned for the trip. We LOVED everything. We loved the Cloud Forest walk- the lush canopy of the forest was amazing, and a family favorite was the catamaran ride. We saw turtles, beautiful fish and even dolphins. The sunset was amazing. The rafting ride we took even had a snack time where we got to taste some great food and taste some chocolate with coffee beans. The only part we were a little concerned about was when the transfer happened at Lake Arenal. We thought and knew that the area would be rural. But, we were making sure we all made it to the top of the hilly area after the boat ride, and realized our luggage was left down at the water. If others choose to do this just be prepared for it and that no bathrooms are available for several hours but it is a great experience! We cannot say thank you enough to My Costa Rica. Both my family and my parents have traveled all over the world. We all agreed this was our favorite trip that we have taken and we will cherish the memories for the rest of our lives. The drivers were friendly and knowledgeable. There were a couple that did not speak English, but one of us speaks Spanish so it worked out fine. My husband and I visited for our honeymoon 18 years ago. We loved it then and loved it even more this time. We joke about retiring there some day...we wish we could visit every year!

Fantastic experience: Jason and his team planned a fantastic trip for my family. I was overwhelmed with planning the trip and and the company was recommended to me by a friend of a friend. Jason worked with me to plan what areas to visit and suggested hotels and excursions to fit our budget and interests. Jason was easy to work with, very quick to reply and answer questions. We ended up with a 9 night/10 day itinerary that was exactly what we asked for. He was even able to add my sister and her family to our itinerary a short time before we left. From the time we landed in San Jose until the time we left everything was exactly as planned. All of the excursions were on time and as stated and we had private transfers as well. The company was in contact the entire trip to make sure we were well taken care off. It made the trip very relaxing and enjoyable for me ( the planner). Most days, the only thing I had to do was see what time we were getting picked up, pack what they suggested to bring, and choose a restaurant to have dinner. It was the honestly the best and most relaxing trip I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and have them plan your trip, you will be very happy you did. We will be back and plan to have them plan it again.

Fantastic experience: Our visit to Costa Rica was perfect! We had such a fun and exciting time. We cannot pick one hotel or experience as all the places we stayed were different and unique. We were met at the airport on time and our private transfer by David was nice as we stopped and had dinner on the way. We arrived at Trogon Lodge in the late afternoon. It was a bit chilly so hot water bottles were placed in our bed. The grounds are filled with flowers and flora. The trout pond is in the center. It is gorgeous! We enjoyed the waterfall hike. The Quetzal bird tour was successful! We got some great photos! The food at Trogon was excellent. We tried our first trout pizza. Fred picked us up and drove us to Golfito. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We went by boat to the Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge. Their passion for the environment and being sustainable is contagious! We enjoyed being in a “like minded” community! We met so many wonderful people. The variety of tours and the knowledge of the staff made every tour an event. We snorkeled, boated through the mangroves and made chocolate treats from cocoa beans. The food was excellent and healthy! We had a special dinner for our anniversary. It was fantastic! Fred picked us and took us to Sierpe for a boat transfer to Drake Bay. We arrived at Drake Bay Wilderness Resort and were greeted with a cold drink by the owner, Marlana. She shared the history and made sure we had everything we needed. The Customer Service was impeccable! We were waited on and given the room with the best view! Monkeys were on our roof and front porch. The tours to Corcovado were exciting and successful as we saw many monkeys, toucans, macaws, birds, coati, and tapirs. The snorkeling at Canos was beautiful! The food was excellent here too and we enjoyed a special anniversary dinner. Our transfer for the domestic flight was on time. The arrangements you made for us were outstanding! We never had to question or be concerned for what was next. Each transfer was flawless. Thank you for a wonderful, exciting and memorable vacation! Connie Curtis

Positive experience: I first would like to say that the places that you reserved for us were more than we could have asked for. The Amor Arenal was one of the nicest places we've ever seen or stayed at. The room and view was absolutely amazing. The food was exceptional and employees went out of their way to accommodate your ever need. Other than the drink prices were a little high. We would definitely stay there again if given the opportunity to go to Costa Rica again. We believe that Mau (not sure of the spelling) is one of your most valuable employees. The waterfalls and Gardens were very nice to see as well. He also was very informed of the culture and filled us with so much information about the places he took us and answered so many questions about the area. The hanging bridges were filled with views,and Ecotermales were very relaxing. Although there you definitely had to be careful of all the rock and stone, with everything being wet for me anyways had to be careful walking. The river float was definitely an experience Jose was great, he explained to all about what to do while maneuvering the rafts and what we may see. The meal was small and kinda rushed but was ok. Secrets Papagayo was nice, the food was good, couldnt understand why very few people were in the ocean water was perfect, the place we stayed wasn't quite what we're seeing in the iternery, and took quite awhile getting checked in, they gave us upgrades because of the delay but nothing we really needed or would use, but was accommodating, a few things around the suite needed repairs and lighting in main room set up different. Excellent service from drivers. The Catamaran ride was relaxing drinks and food was really good, there was a boat that did stay close to snorkelers in case we needed help? but really didn't explain real well how to use equipment but did ok. Lastly the Hotel Grano de Oro has to be thee nicest old Victorian homes we've ever seen, absolutely beautiful and loved staying there, although only for a night just an amazing place. Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic time with My Costa Rica Tours. We visited Arenal, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio and Taramindo. All very different places but all spectacular in their own way. We traveled with three teenagers and their needs were accommodated as much as mine and my husband's. We had different drivers pick us up from each location and every one of was prompt and super friendly. We learned so much about Costa Rica from our drivers. I would definitely recommend my Costa tours. They definitely know Costa Rica and are willing to work with you until you have the trip of your dreams.

Positive experience: Our trip was seamless. All connections were super easy, right from the airport when we were met by Lorena. We had great drivers who made a long drive fun and interesting. Our accomodation in Manuel Antonio was perfect. The country is fantastic, people are friendly and the plants, animals and birds made the trip one of our favourites.

Fantastic experience: Your company completely blew us away, you helped us and were so reachable the whole time. You helped make the most memorable vacation. We all had a phenomenal time and will fondly look back on this trip! We all loved Lapaz waterfall gardens and our stay at the peace lodge and wish we had spent an extra day there. We got to see the most animals and wildlife there. The weather cleared up by the second half of our journey and all the drivers you chose for us were so kind and courteous. We also loved Tabacon - the service and hot spring, facilities were incredible as well as Si Como No. I really have no complaints about our whole journey. We enjoyed the ziplining, and the lapaz waterfall bird feeding experience the most. We just got lucky and all the animals were awake, cooperative and happy.

Fantastic experience: We had amazing trip from start to finish. The My Costa Rica team helped us create our perfect honeymoon vacation. We stayed in 3 different parts of the country. Arenal, Monteverde, and Guanacaste and we felt the length of stay for each one was absolutely perfect. We did 3 excursions set up through My Costa Rica which were all amazing. Zip lining through the rain forest, hiking through the cloud forest, and an ATV ride in Guanacaste. The transportation was on point. Always arrived exactly at the time on our itinerary, not a minute later. All of our hotel reservations were seamless, we had no issues at all with lodging or transport for our entire 10 day trip! Fantastic experience: It was an unforgettable experience. Beautiful animals and landscape! Saw a great deal of unique wildlife and plenty of pictures to remember it. We really enjoyed the arenal volcano hike and manual antonio beach days. The national parks in both areas were also beautiful. Hanging bridges was really cool too. The baldi hot springs were awesome and a fun place that i highly recommend. Si comi no hotel was also was very beautiful, great views of the ocean and had tasty food options. Great wildlife presence near each place.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I had an amazing time in Costa Rica. You and your team did an amazing job setting up our itinerary - from listening to our preferences all the way to execution, everything was amazing. Both resorts were great though we felt Secrets Papagayo was outstanding. Being “preferred” guests was a really great bonus. The lounge they had for us was great and we felt really catered to. We were grateful to have a room right next to the main area as we felt having one farther away may have added a little more of a lag time since it was clear a lot of rooms needed a shuttle. The food at all the restaurants in Secrets was amazing as well. We enjoyed everything about the resort. We added a jet-ski tour which turned out to be a really nice experience. Tabacón was a great stay though we definitely missed the all-inclusive part as the restaurants and services felt a little overpriced. Other than that, we enjoyed the hot springs and the close proximity to La fortuna. We enjoyed walking around town and trying the local cuisine. I would say if we ever go back to that area, we would go for a more economical hotel and explore the area more. Another thing that stood out was how punctual everyone was. All of our transportation arrived right on time and was very courteous. We really enjoyed both scheduled excursions but our favorite activity was the boat tour. We were pleasantly surprised that lunch was at a local ranch and the food was amazing. The pottery demonstration was also a nice bonus. Our tour guide was amazing and made sure I got all the photos I wanted to since he saw I had my camera. We are 100% satisfied we decided to go to Costa Rica and that we used MyCostaRica to book our travel. I have already recommended you to the rest of my family in hopes they travel there soon. Fantastic experience: I'm glad we chose My Costa Rica to plan our Costa Rica vacation. Jason and his team spent almost 2 weeks going over multiple iterations of the itinerary with me, polishing it and ensuring it was right for my family. You could get the feeling that he understands very well that an itinerary is perfect when it's personalized. We had booked almost at the last minute for such a large vacation, but Jason was able to find us good hotels and alternatives almost like the back of his hand! The final itinerary was very detailed and available to access online. The good part of My Costa Rica is that their door don't shut after you pay them the money. Not at all! They arranged top quality tour guides, private drivers and routes. But most importantly, their concierge team of Lorena, Kathleen and Alexandra were almost touring with us on whatsapp! Every message or question would receive a response within 2 minutes. They started by asking questions about our what types of activities we were interested in, what level of accommodations we wanted, and then proceeded to arrange a perfect trip for us, including the Arenal Volcano area, and MonteVerde cloud forest. The itinerary was very detailed, and available on-line. The tours and guides they arranged were top notch! Don’t go anywhere without a tour guide or you’ll miss more than half of the animal life, as they are so well camouflaged for survival. Fantastic experience: The planning of our trip My Costa was terrific. They accommodated all our wishes regarding start times and preferences of hotel types and activities into the itinerary. We were well looked after from start to finish, and the team at My Costa Rica kept us informed of any delays or changes along the way. We stayed at 5 different locations during the 2 1/2 weeks, ranging from lodges on the Pacific Coast to small boutique hotels. . The ‘icing on the cake’ was finishing at El Silenco Lodge and Spa. 5*++. Each transfer was smoothly accomplished, and usually with only us in the comfortable van! Their excellent driver/guides know all the best places to stop for coffee or lunch along the way, and are sure to take your personal interests into account—like the best places to spot birds or wildlife along the way, as well as having great coffee or a good typical Costa Rican lunch! The arranged tours were first class—a coffee plantation, Chocolate making, Mangrove tour, and wonderful bird watching tours, based out of the Trogan Lodge among others. This was our second trip using My Costa Rica to plan our stay. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: We hd a great time! Our favorite place to stay was Los Lagos as there were things to do outside of scheduled activities. The property had walking paths, a gift shop which sold snacks so we did not have to rely on the restaurants for food. Of course my son and grandson loved the zip lining, and we took ourselves to the hanging bridges which we all enjoyed. We saw monkeys, birds and wild pigs. Monte Verde was next. We went on a night walk, but unfortunately it was raining. Still we saw palm vipers, birds and a monkey. The next morning the sun was out and we ventured into the cloud forest again for a walk. I wish it would have been more a hike, but the forest was impressive. We ended up in Guanacaste right on the beach. We welcomed the warmth and spent time playing in the water and looking for shells. The crabs on the beach entertained us and we enjoyed the snorkeling. We loved the diversity of the area, from the rain forests to the beach. Pick-up times were accurate and drivers were always on time and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I had such an amazing time on our trip to Tamarindo in Costa Rica! The transportation to and from the hotel as well as to the activities made me feel very safe and all of the employees were super helpful, knowledgeable, and dependable. The hotel was absolute amazing. The free breakfast was always delicious and the view of the beach from the area was absolutely breathtaking. Our room was right next to the larger pool which was very convenient and close to the beach. Though it was near the pool, there was still a lot of privacy. My favorite part of the hotel was the grass area where chairs were set up that was right on the beach. The employees were all very helpful and always positive! The placement of the hotel in between all of the shops and restaurants created endless possibilities, and we had such a fun time exploring the area! I felt so safe at the Tamarindo Daria.

Fantastic experience: I found a link to My Costa Rica on the Tourist Board website. From the first communications I had with this company to the end of our trip, I was totally impressed and satisfied. They are very good at making recommendations based on your length of stay, number of previous visits and budget. Once our itinerary was finalized, after many inquiries and emails on my part (and the company's subsequent endless patience) I was truly astounded at how professional the follow up was. We received several emails leading up to our trip with helpful information and what to expect. Prior to our visit, they made sure we were able to communicate on What's App and even sent a picture of the person who would be meeting us at the airport. Once there, we had very little need to communicate with the company as the trip was planned to perfection. However, the one slight adjustment I made was taken care of in just a few minutes. I give this company 6 our of 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had a GREAT time in Costa Rica! What a beautiful place! We loved all the places we visited so it’s hard to choose the one we liked the most. We flew into Liberia and met a driver that drove us up to our first stop at Arenal Observatory Lodge. We REALLY loved the extra care all three gave to provide a special Birthday Greeting for my husband! We also loved the long vistas available when sitting on the private patios! Our second location was Monteverde staying at La Senda. It was our favorite in-hotel restaurant! They did such a great job with my food issues (GF and nightshade-free)!! The chef did an amazing job with the fish - it was perfect (not too dry)!! They also did the most to make sure we were having a great time and booked us on a great coffee/cocao/sugar cane tour, which we really enjoyed!! We had no idea that much went into making chocolate. Our final destination was Margaritaville in Santa Cruz (Guanacaste) on the coast. We LOVED the proximity to the beach and what a great beach it was for swimming, walking, and watching the sunset!! The hotel itself was not really our thing in that the night entertainment was loud and went on too long for us. However, there was a time in our lives when we would have been all for it! In the Arenal area, we went ziplining and it was awesome (I had never gone before - what a rush!!). The walk in the Cloud Forest Reserve in Monteverde with the guide was so interesting (they also gave Bill a bottle of bubbly for his birthday! So lovely!) When we go back, we would love to do a night tour when a lot more of the animals and frogs are active!! In Santa Cruz, the sailing and snorkeling tour was really fun, even though we didn't see anything snorkeling. The staff on the boat were excellent as was the food. Being in the water was great, the scenery was great, and just being on the water was fantastic. Finally, the pickups and drivers for all our transfers were great! Very friendly and informative!! Overall, a fantastic and memorable trip and My Costa Rica did all the planning and made all the reservations!!! I would highly recommend using My Costa Rica to help you plan a fantastic trip to Costa Rica!!

Fantastic experience: We stayed in the Tamarindo Diría hotel. This company did an AMAZING job setting up my trip for me. The agent I worked with-Jason Bateman-he was there to answer my questions and concerns before the trip (I had a lot since I've never planned a vacation before). He truly cared so much that the vacation was planned perfect AND fit in my price range. Then, when we got to the hotel they picked for us-we were set up with a concierage and 3 other assistants, Zully, Fernando, and Kathleen. They were always on call and made sure we were always where we were supposed to be and with the right drivers and answering so many random questions!! I seriously cannot recommend booking through this company more, ESPECIALLY if this is your first time planning a vacation and want to literally not have to even lift a finger and they don't charge any extra! Also we did an excursion through them and it was so fun and we had the most amazing tour guides!!

You asked for a feedback, we gave you one in private to which you had no reaction, but you do react when you get an unsatisfactory rating . Fantastic experience: We just returned from a family trip to Costa Rica to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The travel agency, My Costa Rica, helped us plan our stay (with a focus on birdwatching and nature) in great detail and made our vacation a truly positive and unforgettable experience. They arranged for us to stay for a few days at the Hotel Jungle Vista which had a beautiful pool, a restaurant and bar, and was an easy walk to stores and restaurants. The Dantica Cloud Forest was in the mountains and was situated on a hillside surrounded by serene forests and lots of birds! And the Hotel Bougainvillea was just spectacular. They arranged for all of our transportation and sightseeing needs; we never had to worry about a thing. The terrific guides they provided for our tours were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible and went above and beyond to help us see as many unique birds and sights as possible. Representatives from My Costa Rica were in constant contact with us, providing helpful and valuable information about weather, tipping, what to pack, numbers and emails where we could reach someone with questions, etc. My Costa Rica made sure that every single detail of our trip went very smoothly; we truly could not have asked for a more professional, thoughtful, expert organization to make our trip so perfect.

Fantastic experience: Our experience with My Costa Rica travel agency was excellent. In our initial call, Jason Bateman listened well and asked questions about our specific interests and travel expectations and then tailored an itinerary just for us. Jason is personable, caring, and has a great team that worked to make sure we were completely satisfied with all aspects of the planning. We were appreciative that they were on call for us at all times while in Costa Rica. They actually stepped in when we accidentally left the distilled water necessary for my husband's CPAP machine in the transport van and coordinated with the front desk at our resort to have a pharmacy deliver some directly to our room that evening. We had reliable and personal transport to each destination and enjoyed all of our drivers who were all personable and knowledgeable about their country. Our tours were either private or with a very small group. Our guides were all excellent. We were impressed with how thoughtfully developed the ecotourism industry is in Costa Rica, the standard of living of its people and the wholehearted and welcoming way we were received everywhere. We stayed in four distinctly different and interesting places: the spewing volcano and La Paz Waterfall Gardens near beautiful Poas Lodge; the fantastic breakfasts and white sand beach at Punta Leona, with the aerial tram tour in the rainforest canopy and crocodile tour; Trogon Lodge with walking paths to gorgeous waterfalls and an early morning quetzal quest; and our favorite - the Drake Bay Wilderness Resort, with its family owned and helpful staff, guided snorkeling and rainforest adventures and relaxing in hammocks right by the ocean. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend using this service to get the most out of your vacation with the least amount of stress. Lorena was amazing. Communication was smooth and the app given to communicate with her was easy to use. The tours that were set up were exactly what we asked for. Our drivers between each location were very knowledgeable. On our drive from Arenal, the driver pulled over and pointed out a family of howler monkeys . AMAZING!!! Lorena knew that this was a celebration trip and we felt we were celebrating the whole time It was our twin birthday trip and we were treated with a few chocolates and balloons along the way. The restaurant at one of the resorts even had a special table set up for us.

Fantastic experience: The trip I booked with My Costa Rica was the best vacation I've ever had. I took a trip this past December (2023) with my wife to Costa Rica from the USA. We haven't travelled internationally before, so we decided to use a travel agency to help put together all of the details for us. Overall, this was an excellent decision. My Costa Rica worked out all of the transportation, lodging, an excellent variety of activities for us. They also helped us get travel insurance, walked us through all of the processes for travelling internationally, and were available during the trip for questions and help any time we got into trouble. The resorts we stayed in were all very nice. The only issue I had with this trip is that the total price tag was a bit higher than I expected. I haven't organized a trip like this myself, so I don't know if my original expectations were reasonable. I'd have to travel more internationally to know if this was a great value, but I do know it was a great time.

Fantastic experience: My Costa Rica planned the most amazing vacation for us. Everything flowed seamlessly and was catered to our requests. There was an amazing amount of variety in our trip, from cities, to beaches, to mountains. The hotels we stayed in were clean, comfortable, and offered free breakfast which was a nice amenity. We were picked up and dropped off for each of our planned activities that My Costa Rica planned for us. We loved our trip and can’t wait to use My Costa Rica to visit the country again!

Fantastic experience: We have booked our vacation to Costa Rica. For our family trip to Costa Rica, we checked several agencies but decided in the end for MyCostaRica due to following reasons: (1) Jason planned the trip exactly how we wanted it to be and that in a friendly and superefficient way, (2) he read our emails thoroughly and answered quickly to our requests, (3) he adapted immediately the itinerary and gave proactively valuable suggestions. Fantastic experience: We traveled to beautiful Costa Rica over the 2023 Christmas holidays as a family of four with teenagers. My Costa Rica helped organize our trip. From an outline of destinations, Jason guided us toward great accommodation options and fantastic activities which ensured we had a fun filled holiday. There were many opportunities for questions and discussion to create the best possible itinerary for us. We loved the abundant wildlife and our adventure packed day in La Fortuna area!! Calmer days on the beach were also a hit! The concierge service was always available to us, and answered any questions we may have during our trip. Fantastic experience: Overall, we had a wonderful experience in Costa Rica and are very pleased with the assistance that Jason and his crew provided. In addition to providing an excellent choice of guided hikes and transportation within country, My Costa Rica was very responsive in assisting when one of us got ill just before the trip and we had to reschedule and rendezvous with other family members part way through the trip. I highly recommend My Costa Rica and was pleased way beyond expectations considering we had never used any travel agency for assistance previously.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic father daughter trip to Costa Rica. Enjoyed tour of La Paz waterfalls, ziplining, coffee/chocolate farms, nature hikes in La Fortuna and Monte Verde. My Costa Rica made our trip so easy, allowing us to just enjoy the trip rather than worry about the details. All of the hotels selected were excellent, transportation was always on time and professional. Highly recommend to remove the stress of planning and allow My Costa Rica to plan your trip!

Fantastic experience: My family and I (husband and 2 teens) booked our first trip to Costa Rica through My Costa Rica and it was amazing! The activities were great, resorts were gorgeous, with breathtaking views, both in the rainforest and on the coast, and the drivers were always on time and loved talking with us/ making the journeys very enjoyable. They made sure we got to our destinations/excursions and they were waiting for us before our activities ended. I felt safe and taken care of the entire time. My Costa Rica staff was available 24/7 and checked in with us via email/ WhatsApp. They communicated with our providers to ensure we were where we were supposed to be at all times. The trip was seamless. I am so happy I came across this agency and trusted them with my family’s safety and the experience of a lifetime.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience planning with My Costa Rica! Everyone was so responsive, our drivers were kind and always on time (Thank you to David for a great day at the volcano and animal sanctuary), and the activities were so exciting. My favorite physical activity was whitewater rafting (shout out to our hilarious and fun guide, Nicholas), and my favorite leisurely activity was the sunset cruise (we got to kayak and swim in the warm Pacific water!). Zip lining was also EPIC and fun! We were SO lucky to see two sloths up close in the wild, and many other animals in the sanctuary and at the National Park. So many opportunities to see the wildlife all around Costa Rica. The resorts we stayed at were all very nice, and my favorite one was Los Lagos in Arenal because of the hot springs and pools and wet bar. Shout out to Gabby at Costa Verde Resort in Manuel Antonio, she was incredibly kind and helpful. This was definitely a trip to remember, and I would absolutely let My Costa Rica plan another adventure. I can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic experience: My Costa Rica helped curate an amazing itinerary for my family’s first trip out of the country. As I am usually a solo traveler, this was out of my expertise. I turned to them for help and they did not disappoint. It was absolutely amazing and everyone in my family had a memorable trip, especially since it was their first time out of the country. Costa Rica was more than I could have ever imagined. Honestly, my favorite part about visiting was the people. Everyone was so happy to help, share their expertise, guide tourists, share their insights on their local living and exert such happiness. I had a lovely time spending hours with different tour guides, drivers during our long transfers, and everyone else I had the opportunity to share a moment with. My favorite hotel was San Bada in Manuel Antonio. Not only were the rooms beautiful, but the location outside the park and a short distance from the beach was perfect! We did really enjoy Montana de Fuego as well... especially the mineral pools. Lastly, I think we all agreed our favorite was the ziplining with Sky Adventures! Again, everyone who worked there was so excited to be guiding us. It was exhilarating and beautiful at the same time. They did a great job working with me to plan this trip, and I am grateful I chose My Costa Rica as my first travel agency. They chose activities and locations that fit all our needs with constant communication throughout the entire process and during the trip! Thank you so much for the continuous support and everything you all did to make this trip one to remember with my family.

Fantastic experience: My Costa Rica travel agency was an absolute joy to work with in planning my trip to celebrate my 50th birthday. All the staff were super prompt and professional. In the early planning stages they listened to my wish list – adventure (desire to travel around both by car, boat and small plane), scenic lodging/ rooms with a view of the ocean & amongst wildlife and to visit the remote Osa Peninsula’s Corcovado National Park to primarily see the monkeys. The lodging they reserved for my trip at both Si Como No near Manuel Antonio Park and La Paloma Lodge near Drake Bay on Osa were both phenomenal and jaw-dropping with stunning grounds and service. The rooms had fantastic views of wildlife and the ocean. They even told both places that it was my 50th and as a result it was mentioned by both of them plus at Si Como No, the first place I stayed at on my trip, they had a HBD sign, balloons and complimentary bottle of wine all waiting in my room upon arrival. Super nice touch! In the days leading up to the trip, the staff (Lorena, Kathleen and Fernando) were all so helpful with my questions via WhatsApp. They were also readily available via WhatsApp while I was traveling with any last-minute questions or check-ins I had. I really appreciated them being able to connect with me while I was there. All in all, I was very impressed with the services received from My Costa Rica travel agency and would not only highly recommend them to friends and family but also hire them again for my next trip adventure to Costa Rica. Speaking of which, I’m already counting down the days to when I can return. Thank you My Costa Rica for making my 50th birthday one truly to remember for years to come!

WOW, this is so important to me when I travel and everyone was so kind! The staff was attentive, gracious and very available. The drivers and hotel staff were fantastic as well! Fantastic experience: We decided to go to Costa Rica for our honeymoon. We wanted to plan something relaxing and comfortable, but at the same time connected to the nature and best service. Jason helped us planned the perfect itinerary and best hotels. Then, while we were close to the date Lorena and the rest of the team were excellent with information about the weather, what to pack etc. We loved the hotels recommended: Amor Arenal was our best hotel for starting the honeymoon, exceptional place and service and then we went to Secret Papagayo Hotel which was also great place to end the trip with great activities, beach and restaurants. Thank you to My Costa Rica we had great price and places to stay, and we were able to relax and rest.

We told them what we were looking for and that we wanted to be more active on this vacation and they were able to compile and itinerary that met our needs. Fantastic experience: Using "My Costa Rica" travel agency was a great experience! My agent (Jason) made booking this trip very easy and I can't say enough about his professionalism and patience due to me and my wife changing our mind 5 times. If I had any complaints I would list them here but there are none. The accommodations were really nice and the food is wonderful and of course the places we visited were beautiful. Be sure to bring a camera or you'll regret it. We will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Staff were friendly and met us at the airport to get us started on our trip. All hotels and lodges were well picked with great food. We traveled to tortuguerro, Arenal, Manuel Antonio as well as other places. All the transportation was included and kudos to all the drivers that made sure the traveling was pleasant. Fantastic experience: Our trip to Costa Rica was pretty darn wonderful. It was also one of the more relaxing international trips I have been on. While the country of Costa Rica takes most all of the credit for that, your company gets high marks as well. From having private drivers to the selection of hotels, My Costa Rica did a fabulous job of ensuring our vacation was a success! all of the hotels were excellent as well as the breakfasts that came with them. Club Rio was a favorite activity of mine; the tubing was a blast and soaking in a natural hot spring next to a cool water river was epic. I have been telling my friends about y’all and bragging about Costa Rica. And of course, if I ever get a chance to go to Costa Rica again, I will definitely be using My Costa Rica! thank you very much for the good time!
