Positive experience: Update: updating to 4 stars after speaking to the owner and agreeing on partial refund for the service fees. I went to pick up my documents in person and Kayla was organized and was helpful on offering some more insights on reasons the process had been fairly frustrating. Overall the experience was good, and I would still recommend this agency for things they are more specialized in, just maybe not Q2 visas… Original: Paid 330 for Chinese visa back in early March when all previously valid 10 year visas were in suspension. During the in person appointment I asked specifically whether a surrender statement was needed for the application package, Kayla said no. Fast forward a month, I heard from them that my visa application was returned because it did not include a statement of “surrendering my previous 10 year visa”. Luckily China has allowed previously valid visa entries in the mean time and I was able to get my passports back for my trip in May. I still believed in them and kept my payments with them as credits for processing of the visa again when I come back. In early August, I met with Kayla again to redo the application and the surrender form. Now a month later, I got news again that the consulate was asking for an in-person interview, which involves refiling the forms, and me flying into DC. This is the SECOND TIME that my documents are being returned, with at least 2 month of waiting. Kayla is suggesting that she would still help fill out the forms, just I need to do the scheduling and flying in myself. (That’s simply a DIY visa application, why am I still paying for service?) While this is not 100% the fault of this agency, I am writing the review to let people be aware that they may not be the best at dealing with more complicated visa applications! Time and money wasted. They are only willing to refund the consulate fees and none of the service fees. Waiting on owner response to discuss this issue. I do acknowledge and appreciate the time Kayla has spent on my case, although the end of the day result was less than satisfactory.

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful for this company, and specifically working with Kayla. I had exactly 5 weeks to get my passport and not only did they assure me I would receive it in time, but they also said that we had a plan b in the case that we were cutting it close. I had already called around and a few of the other companies in town never gave me a call back, and another company said they would charge over $900 in service fees. The Passport and Visa Company was affordable, and Kayla gave the best customer support— she was patient, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. I think in the future I’ll work with them even if it’s to get my passport in regular time.

Negative experience: I went to see Pauline over 11 weeks ago - on April 20th at 1pm sharp, she took my money and barely acknowledged me, she had me enter in all the information myself on the computer while she took several other phone calls. I have called the office twice to ask where my passport is with ZERO response. I feel I have been seriously scammed out of $300 for a simple passport renewal. I am calling the better business bureau and contacting them about this business, not only did they take my passport and my money they have closed the office. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR PASSPORT OR MONEY. Clearly it's a scam.

Fantastic experience: Dealing with the government is always fun because you never know what is going to happen. I took my passport into be renewed using The Passport and Visa company. As soon as I arrived Kayla assisted me in completing the application, and sent my passport off using their 2 week service. She set my expectation of 8 to 10 business days, my new passport and old canceled passport arrived by the 7th business day, this during August the busiest month of the year. I was stressed out about having to take a trip within 3 weeks with having discovered that my passport was expired! The staff was calm, friendly, and super helpful in guiding me through the process. I got the new passport back a week before, with time to stress about other parts of the trip and not the passport part! Also, when the passport arrived, I went to go pick it up at the office and the staff even took the time to explain everything and give helpful tips on how to protect the passport and emergency situations/how to handle it. Negative experience: The most unprofessional and irresponsible company that I’ve dealt with in a very long time! Long long holds on the phone! Careless about your needs all they(pauline) keep saying is they have good reviews and they are 5 star which is impossible unless they’ve had their own family and friends leave fake reviews to make the company look better! They don’t even know what documents are required for getting a visa and what are the time frames for each country! I have been traveling internationally for over 40 years and never had a experience this horrible with any organization unrill now with this company! Save yourself the headache time and money go elsewhere!!! Or do it yourself it’ll be a whole a lot easier and quicker than dealing with these so called “professionals”

Fantastic experience: This is the third time that I have used their services. Most recently due to my travel schedule I had to coordinate a passport renewal and obtain a visa for travel to Russia on fairly short notice so I knew that I had to have professionals handle it since proper timing was going to be very important. Fantastic experience: Drew did a fabulous job of getting me through the passport renewal process quickly and painlessly. I had filled out the renewal form on the U.S. government web site and printed it out before coming into the office, so it took less than 15 minutes for Drew to check it over, take my current passport, and schedule when my new one would be ready. It was finished exactly when they said it would be, and I'm very happy I could turn it over to Drew and Pauline rather than sending it off to the government and just hoping for a quick return. Just make sure to bring your travel itinerary with you, since they need it to prove to the government that they should do a rush order.

I have a Russian passport but my granddaughter has a US passport and she needed a Russian visa. Fantastic experience: Don't even think about going to the post office. Loved the customer service, they give you a step by step so you are aware of everything every step of the way. Ordered my passport for 2 weeks and arrived early! Definitely recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I came in freaking out 5 days before I was supposed to leave the country. They calmed me down, assessed my passport situation, and tailored their service to fit my personal scenario without adding additional costs. Also, the environment was much cozier than I'm used to when dealing with bureaucracy stuff like permits and the like. There me be as-good passport services out there, but I don't think it's possible to be better.

Fantastic experience: Their mantra is "Quality Customer Service is a priority for The Passport & Visa Company" and by golly they aren't kidding. I almost used an online service, but I called Pauline and she guided me every step of the way in our quest to obtain a Chinese visa. I quickly realized that I wasn't aware of all of the nuances required by the Chinese, and if I had done the on-line service, my visa request would have been quickly rejected. We got approval within just a few days using Pauline's service. She was not only very professional, she was kind and courteous, and she knows how to help someone like me who doesn't have a clue what a foreign government might need to give its approval.

Fantastic experience: I can't say more than what has already been said about The Passport & Visa Company. My experience was great and working with Drew made the whole process painless. I had to turn my passport around very quickly for a work trip and needed it done within the 6-9 day turn around. Calling Drew before heading down to his office to discuss my needs and my current situation saved me from driving all over town. Since me DL was recently renewed (under 6 months), I needed to bring 5 forms of identification. Huge help! And my birth certificate was a short form, which could cause issues. Make sure its the long form version! Either way, my application was submitted on a Monday and I got a call on that Thursday saying it was ready for pick up. He answered all my ridiculous/nerve ridden questions and made the whole process very comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone who needs this service!

Fantastic experience: Honestly... after reading many reviews about several different expedited passport service providers, I was unsure of which company to use as all of the reviews seemed the same. Given that the services offered are not cheap, I wanted to make sure I was spending my money wisely. However, after having used Drew's service, I would HIGHLY recommend using The Passport & Visa Company. Their prices are competitive and I chose to use the 2-5 business day service to have my name changed on my old passport. I arrived at their office on a Monday morning around 8:15am, was out the door by 8:45am, and received a call from Drew on that Wednesday morning to let me know that my passport had been returned and was ready for me to pick up. It was super fast! They make the process easy, fast, trustworthy and all with incredibly friendly service. Do yourself a favor and let Drew and his team handle the nuances of this process while you go get a coffee. :)

Fantastic experience: I needed a Visa for travel to China and selected the routine service, since there were several weeks before my departure time. Drew at Passport & Visa was very courteous and helpful. I completed the form on the web site, then printed it and took it with my passport to their Austin office. It took only a few minutes of my time in their office. To my surprise, I received a call only four business days later that my new Visa had been received. I was very pleased with the service and will certainly use them again.

Fantastic experience: After having been to the county passport office twice, waiting a combined total of 3 hours and still had not been seen, I looked up other offices that could get me a passport. I found P&V Company, and based on reviews and convenient location, made the decision to pop in on my lunch break to see what they could do for me. I needed my passport expedited within 3 weeks and let me tell you, it was TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE. I was seen immediately and they handled everything so efficiently. They even let me retake my photo until I was happy with it (county passport offices won't do that, most Walgreens/CVS stores won't even do that unless you want to pay more). I was able to get everything done within an hour, including having to run to the clerk's office downtown to get it sealed. I had my passport within 10 days. Drew and team know their stuff. I'll be going back in the future.

Fantastic experience: Great place - very knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. When your running out of time to get your passport, these are all things you need working for you to make sure your trip plans don't fall through. These guys got me and my wife our passports(a renewal and a new one) twice as fast as they quoted....but that's not the only reason why I'm giving them a 5 star review. They walked me step by step through the passport process, educated me on what to expect going to the courthouse, timelines, etc, and they kept great communication with me as my passport was working it's way through the process.
