Negative experience: Terrible experience at this centre where I took my car for service. The person at the desk first asked me if I am a aaa member which I am, but then I enquired about discounts with Costco membership and that seemed to offer better discounts. I asked the person to use my Costco membership if there’s more discount with it but then they mentioned that I can’t use any of the discount coupons on their website if I use Costco membership. I asked to be switched back to aaa member discounts then if I cannot use the coupon, but the person said it was too late and they can’t switch me back! I asked to cancel my appointment and went to another aaa nearby and voila!!, they were able to use my Costco membership and provide discount through coupon on website!! Why lie to customers just so you can save time entering info in the computer. Hope they get better with time but I will be taking my service elsewhere.

Negative experience: Took my car in because of a rumbling with one car wheel at higher speeds. AAA. Their diagnostics cost 188 dollars and listed 14 different parts that needed to be fixed immediately at a price of 2969. I declined because that was a sign that they don't know what the real issue is and they listed a filter that I had changed 1 months back. Just down the line Mavis diagnosed the issue free of cost and the single damaged part will cost 500 dollars

Negative experience: I had new tires put on and an alignment done at the same time. After some driving I noticed that at 75mph the car vibrates, to the point you can see the passengers seat wiggle when it's empty. So I go in today to see about a rebalanced tire, and the guys behind the desk made it abundantly clear I was inconveniencing them. They spoke to each fully ignoring me until it was time for a signature and key handover. I wait around for the work to complete and when done I asked if they found any tire ls out of balance. Guy looks at me, saying "uh, yeah a little"; clearly made it up on the spot. The seat still vibrates at 75mph. I'll be taking my work elsewhere in the future.

Fantastic experience: Best service center around! Took my Lexus in, great customer service and the service manager Kareem gave me a great deal. Will be returning whenever I need any work done on my car. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: Getting an International Driving Permit here is very quick and easy. They take the pictures and do everything else need. All you have to do is show up with you current valid drivers license during normal business hours.

Negative experience: Nice Staff but Technician's need HELP! I took my truck in for an Ignition Switch. They refered me to a Dealership saying it Must be repaired by them. After checking my truck for 2dys, I had it towed to a local Mechanic. 2hrs my truck was good as new. (2000 GMC SIERRA) part was about $40.

Negative experience: The AAA in Lawrenceville held my car for 2 weeks, lied repeatedly about communication and timeframe, and when they finally told me the repair was complete, the returned the car with a check engine light on. When I asked them to diagnose the issue, the manager became hostile and threatened me, insisting that the issue must have predated me bringing the car in. It did not. When I stated my intent to call Member Services, he refused to give me his name or business card, referring to himself only as "G." I left, hoping at least the car would get me home so I could take it to a shop I trust, but the car proved unsafe to drive and broke down a mile down the road. They eventually discovered that the check engine light had been related to their incompetent repair. They are without a doubt the worst shop I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. If you enjoy being threatened, lied to, and overcharged, the Lawrenceville AAA is the shop for you. Otherwise, go literally anywhere else.

Negative experience: I have used this triple A two times now they consistently have not communicated with me. The first time they had promised me that they would be able to have my car ready early since they were doing an oil change. The car was only ready after 2 hours they had promised. The most recent time I had asked them to look at my breaks as well as do another oil change. They ordered the wrong filter for my car, did not even look at my breaks and I am receiving my car a whole day late. I would not have even know that they ordered the wrong filter if I had not called them.

Positive experience: The staff here is very helpful and kind. I was in need of an International driver's permit. Before driving to this location, I printed out the form from the website and obtained two passport photos. I also called ahead to see if I needed an appointment and was told no. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted and asked how I could be helped. They took care of me right away and I walked out with my permit a few minutes later. The only downside is that this location has a tiny parking lot and it can get busy. There were people double parked when I left.

Negative experience: I brought my car in to have 2 tires replaced. It took over 2 hours! While replacing the tires, they found one TPM sensor broken, and broke the second one. After waiting over an hour, I went to the desk where I was informed about the sensor. When I complained about the length of time it was taking, the people at the desk floundered to explain...it would have been better if they had said they were short handed. My appointment was at 8am - my car was completed at 10:20am....I watched the first mechanic who started the work on my car. He did more walking around, slowly/aimlessly before he really did any work. Several weeks ago I had 4 tires replaced AND an alignment at another shop - car was done in 50 minutes. Had I been told that it was going to take so long, I would have made arrangements to pick up the car later. My TPMS are not correctly installed/calibrated. I have to return to have them repaired! Unbelievable. the only bright is that the Manager did reach out to me and offer to reimburse me. She was great, but until she cleans staff and hires new mechanics, I would stay away.

Negative experience: I’d like to take this opportunity to share my feedback about this location especially a new manager Me. Dan! I went for an international drivers permit and had my two passport photos but Mr.Dan said there are not from aaa and not passport size and made me spend extra money to take more photos - I showed him I have used these photos in the past and he said he will not accept them. Reluctantly I took photos even though I had photos and they have accepted them in the past. He was extremely unprofessional, unkind and rude. I’ve been aaa member for over 20 years and wanted to share my feedback for others.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS SHOP TO REPAIR YOUR CAR!!! I wish I had read the reviews prior to taking my cars to this shop. Unfortunately, i have experienced each of the 1 star reviews given. From the lousy service, lack of transparency and communication, delays in completing repairs with no accountability, overpriced services, etc. However, what concerns me the most is that for every 1 star review, there’s a response from AAA asking the person to call so they can address the issues. I checked the 1 star reviews from as far as a year ago, and yet, it seems NOTHING has changed at this location. So AAA, in case you want me to contact you, what will be the point of it if nothing is going to change? I will provide an update If AAA contacts me.

Negative experience: Highly unprofessional, irresponsible and untrustworthy team. I serviced my BMW for an oil change and a coolant check (this was recommended by the service agent). For quite some time there was no update and only when I called, I was informed that the technician had accidentally broken a knob on the condenser and the freon had leaked out. When I went to pick the vehicle the service agent was apologetic and said the technician accidentally broke the part and that I should get it repaired at BMW and AAA will reimburse the cost. I insisted on a written commitment on this and the AAA agent also did so. I took the vehicle to the BMW service station the same day and got it repaired. BMW service guy said whoever worked on the part clearly didn't know not to touch it because even the BMW guys do not try to open the knob that was broken (by AAA). It cost me more than 2000 USD to repair this damage caused by AAA because of their lack of capability. Its been more than a month and despite submitting the bills right the next day after the damages were repaired, I have no communication from AAA on when the amount will be reimbursed to me. I am being given very shady answers like Manager was on leave, etc. Also on a side note, they were supposed to rotate the tires. However couldn't do so because the technician couldn't find the key to rotate the BMW tires. I would expect this to be a basic capability if you are doing oil changes and tire rotations on vehicles. If I do not get reimbursed as promised I wouldn't hesitate to go to the lawyers and courts.

Fantastic experience: Had a very pleasant experience getting my International Drivers Permit here today. The agent was courteous, efficient and made conversation with us while he was taking photos and issuing the permit. In and out in 15min. Highly recommend this office.

Positive experience: That staff is friendly and professional, but my god is the service slow. They're just really understaffed. They got one guy doing oil changes for 5 cars by himself.

Saturday morning called to see if they got it told me they gonna look at it 4 hours later called back they said they couldn’t look at it because no gas they told me had to bring gas brought gas called a few hours later told me they couldn’t look at it AGAIN because “they parking lot is blocked off because of a accident” LIE Tuesday morning drove up there another one lol told me mechanic is not in today towed my car my self to another mechanic HAD A HALF TANK OF GAS Wow got it fixed in less then 2 hours. Service=trash don’t come here

Negative experience: My car was towed here Friday, 03/17/2023 as my car was leaking fluid and making noises and the serpentine belt snapped. We let Carlos Torres know the situation and he said he would take care of it. They ordered a new belt and when it came in they did not do any "free" diagnostic like they were supposed to and put the new belt on. It snapped immediately and they charged us for the labor and the belt. They had to change the pulley which was not working properly and charged me for all this along with a new belt and for the labor. I think this is extremely unacceptable as they did not do anything and decided to put the belt on. The man at the counter refused to give me his name and said he was not involved. The names on the invoice are Salesperson: T Prakmanond and cashier: Alfred Benjamin. This facility was extremely unprofessional, and rude. The cashier was throwing up his hands and walking away being extremely disrespectful to me. The manager was berating us over the phone as we did not think it was acceptable to pay for a belt and labor that they broke. I will never be coming back. They also left my car dirty there was oil all over my door panel and they scratched up the front of my car. As I was leaving the check engine light was still on and after asking them about it they said "it was already on when it came here". Obviously it was on because all the lights were on as it was stuck on the side of the highway. I am extremely upset with how I was treated at this facility. They refused to take the 2nd belt and labor off my bill and my car is still not fixed. Take your car somewhere else as this facility is very incompetent and they have no idea what they are doing.

Negative experience: I came here a twice before each time I'm waiting long periods of time this most latest time I went there for a dia had to bring it somewhere else because they couldn't find codes and when I brought it to a different place they were able to tell me a way different out look then they provided me and then come to find out I went here to get my rear brakes done in September and the other place told me I have to replace them what a waste of money and time.

When my car was finally done, the technician asked ME where the front desk people were because most of the employees had left, including the manager. I then had to wait to pay before I could leave. Negative experience: Listen AAA WILL RIP YOU OFF! I had my vehicle towed to this location to receive my free battery (because I pay top dollar for a membership that provides me with battery replacement.) I was told that I could not receive it due to there being a problem with my alternator. I took it upon myself to purchase my own alternator and take my car away from this location. My new mechanic ran a diagnostic on my vehicle and there showed that my alternator was FINE and I just needed a new BATTERY FOR MY VEHICLE. AAA never provided me with the diagnostic paperwork stating that there were ripples in my alternator. When I called back to get a copy of my paperwork I was yelled at and treated horribly by one of the managers CARLOS. This location along with many other AAA car care centers will try to rip you off and take your money. Heads up if you pay for a premier battery membership you are not in fact entitled to a free battery or replacement if something happened to yours…..

Positive experience: Update: Things have gone downhill here. In the past, I've always submitted an appointment request online and heard back from them the next day. They apparently don't read or reply to those anymore and I had to call. Just got here for an oil change and was expecting conventional. They (not very politely) informed me that I have to do synthetic (didn't explain why) and that it would be $100. Not happy with them lately. I've been coming here for years for routine maintenance and repairs. Today on my way to work, my engine light started blinking and my car started shaking and I went straight to AAA. They fit me in right away, kept me in the loop on what was happening, fixed it right away, and I got to work two hours later. Highly recommneded!

Negative experience: I recommend this place if you have an extra $100 bucks and a week of your time to waste for no conclusive result. I initially requested they find out why the battery would die randomly. They insisted it was the alternator and it had killed the battery. The issue I had was the battery was a redtop and had been tested at 2 different places and had no bad cells. They upsold a new battery, took the $300 good battery, and didn't do any further power drain testing. The car magically died again 2 weeks later after sitting still. After another diagnostic fee, they told me there was nothing that could be done because they can't fix it. Long story short, I was double charged a diagnostic fee twice for the same issue and told to take my car elsewhere because they can't figure it out.

Negative experience: Beware of AAA Lawrenceville Auto Center. Took one of our company vehicles there for an oil change and slow tire leak. When we picked the vehicle up we had a $439.44 bill for a brake job . I asked to see the old parts since we did not authorize the repair. They were very angry and told me I did not need to authorize the repair since it is a lease vehicle . See photos. When they gave me the old parts I said they need to credit us for the repair since it was not necessary. I was informed that I do not know what I am talking about. At that point I contacted Enterprise and informed them what had happened . They asked for pictures which I immediately sent them. Enterprise informed me they were going to pay for the repair since they authorized it, But also said they were lied to about how much brake lining was left but will authorized the repair due to the rust on the rotors.That they would not bill our company for the repair. Our company has seventeen leased vehicles that I normally use AAA to preform our pm services. After this experience I will be using another vendor , due to the greed, lying and unprofessional staff they employ. They made have got away with an unneeded repair today, But have lost a fleet of seventeen vehicles.By the way , The vehicle was a 2019 Escape with 28000 miles.

Fantastic experience: Carlos is great and just increased my loyalty to AAA. I'd purchased a roof rack from Amazon. I half-installed it but was having great difficulty finishing the job. I called Carlos and he said "Bring it in so I can see it". I did and he looked at it and finished the job right there while he was talking to other customers on the phone. Negative experience: I had without a doubt the worst car service experience ever at this AAA auto center. I went for a simple oil change. Seemed easy enough. But as I drove north on Route 1 the car started to smoke and I smelled oil burning. Luckily I was in the right-hand lane and was able to pull over. I called the dealer (Toyota) and they said to have the car towed over there immediately and not to drive at all. That was good advice because the mechanic found that ALL of the oil had leaked out of the car. The dealer took a look and said the guy at AAA had put the wrong oil filter in. It didn't seal properly and all of the oil drained out. Very scary and would have destroyed the engine if I had kept driving. Then the kicker: AAA had recommended that they replace the front and rear brakes because they were in "very bad" condition and unsafe to drive with. Luckily I declined. When I brought the car to a local mechanic who was recommended by some neighbors, he said the brakes were fine and I had at least 10,000 more miles on them. SO to sum up: completely messed up a simple oil change that almost ruined my car, and tried to sell me brakes that weren't needed. Beware!

Negative experience: Save Your Time and Money, Go Somewhere Else. Service has been going downhill since I started going there. I had an oil change done there once, which as a AAA premier member comes with a free tire rotation that was never done. (I always mark my tires beforehand) I had my car towed there for a starter and battery, cost me about 700 bucks, which wasn't too bad, but then they did the mechanic thing where they find a problem you didn't know existed and said I needed some kind of vacuum hose, I was like sure go ahead and order it. Part never came, 3 weeks of waiting I gave up and decided to get a refund. This was all in august, Waited 8 weeks like they told me because it was coming from AAA corporate, as of writing this review, I still have not received my refund. This is after several phone calls and visit to even get a response from them. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Negative experience: This is a BAD place to take your car they over charge you i went and got a one fuel injector and one spark plug change and headlight for and they charged me $847 and when I picked my car up it still wouldn’t come on had to leave it for another day with no other tre and my headlights went back out and check engine light came on now they tryna charge me $607 to fix that please watch where you guys take y’all cars

Negative experience: I've been apart of AAA for a while now and the service has always been exceptional- at lest most of the time. I even chose this location to do most of my services recently. I will start by saying unless you have time to spare this location is not ideal at all! I scheduled an oil change for 8 am and they did not start until approx. 9, and I was almost late for an event I had scheduled well in advance for but I made it so it wasn't a big deal at the time. Now I had my car towed in here at 9 am after it broke down on my way to work and it sat there for 2 days and didn't even get diagnosed, PLUS no one ever reached out to me to provide me with any updates. When I called in, I spoke to the manager his name is "Guy Lerario". He is the nonchalant, sarcastic type of guy- one of those people who make a bad situation worse. He lied to me and told me my car was being checked out and that it was running fine. He told me they drove my car up and down the highway and it was fine- yet when i had my car dropped off their the check engine light was blinking and the RPMs wouldn't reach 2. He told me verbatim "I cannot make your car mess up, I don't know how long it will take but its running fine for us.." So i did a pop up on him! when I arrived I went straight to my car to see how it was running and NOTHING was different. Not only was my car STILL not drive-able, but the check engine light was still blinking and two days later I am still in the same situation. Guy Lerario was inside sitting down on his phone waiting for the time to pass so he could leave and go on about his day, when I asked him why he told me my car was good and acting better than when I last seen it he told me it was fine for him, and the light wasn't blinking anymore. I asked him for my key and had AAA tow my car to Firestone where it is currently getting repaired. I will NEVER go this AAA anymore and I will ALWAYS tell everyone about my experience here. Also every time I contact AAA I will personally make sure they notate my experience with Guy and his AAA location. He needs to be replaced with someone that would represent AAA better! VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Negative experience: Got brakes done and they charged me close to $500. I thought it would be cheaper going to AAA. That obviously is not the case. I was quoted a much lower price on the phone. Why didn’t they quote me the total price and other(hidden? I.e shop fee?) charges on the phone? Got it done since I was already there. Had I known ahead of time definitely would not have gotten it done there. I cannot recommend given how much more expensive AAA car care center is compared to others who can the same routine brake replacement service for a lot less. Cannot say I’d go back there for any future service again.

Negative experience: The technicians do absolutely great work. You might think that a AAA service center would have the best interests of AAA members in mind, but no such luck. The customer service reps are apparently interested in getting as much money from you as possible. With no explanation, they sold me an expensive insurance policy on my new tires and when I returned the next day asking them to cancel it they said "too late". Their prices for tires are considerably more than the local discount tire places, where I will certainly go the next time I need new tires.

Negative experience: Horrible car repair service at their Lawrenceville center in NJ. They hide under the AAA name and screw their customers by overcharging them, prescribing and doing unnecessary repairs, not letting customers inspect what they have done, not returning old parts that they have removed from the car without the customer's knowledge or permission, and keeping them waiting for hours. I am a loyal AAA member for about four decades, and I recently went there for oil change and a check-engine light problem. Without addressing my main concerns, they told me the car needs $1500+ worth of other repairs (axles, control arms, tires, etc. etc.) and the deals AAA was running that week that I should take advantage of. Then after keeping me waiting for about 6 hours (they do not provide loaner cars even if the customer comes in for major repairs), they gave me the car back while pushing their AAA car insurance and AAA credit card offers to me as I made payments. After making the payment, I went to the car and turned the ignition on. Immediately, the check-engine light came on as before, and to make things worse, I started hearing some new noise from underneath the car, as I left their lot. Please stay away from this AAA auto repair center.

Fantastic experience: The folks here were just great... Had a liw pressure light on my old truck..went to 2 different gas stations and no one had a working pump... Stopped at AAA m the service rep inside told me to bring my truck around, the guy in the service bay took care of my problem and check all the other tries amd I was done in a flash.. I tried to tip thr guy but said no thanks N wished me a good weekend... They mAde my day..
