Fantastic experience: The process of obtaining a tow through AAA went smoothly. I like how the app tracks the progress of the tow truck driver. The tow truck driver stayed in contact with us, was on time and very helpful.

Negative experience: I got promised a free repair. I never got told that wasn't possible. I never an estimate on what was being done. I did get a text with what was wrong with my van. That link said that the oil pan was getting rethreaded and new plug. I called to say to rethread and was told that my van was done already. When I went to pick up my van, I was only told that my oil change was costing and was asked if I was doing cash or card. It was my fault that I didn't catch that the bill was $1700 at that point. I ran my cc. Later, I talked with the owner about the $1700 oil pan replacement. He apologized for the miscommunication and offered to send me a check for $800. That helps, but it's still more than I wanted to pay for on my 16 year old van. Regardless, this has ruined my trust in this company. I will update when I see money coming back to me.

Negative experience: This place should be ashamed of themselves. They tried to rip off a single mother who is very low income. They tried to charge her thousands of dollars to "fix" her car. She took the car to another shop and they found a wire disconnected. Cost her nothing. AAA is a predatory garage. Absolutely disgusting. Not too mention they told her that her battery had nothing wrong with it but it did. They don't honor their warranties.

Negative experience: They made promises not kept like Return call to update me. I was out of town and had to stay in Dover because of not being on point.

Negative experience: Didn't wan to have to write this review. I really wanted to like this place. They charged me $1700 for a simple brake job (pads and rotors). It happened months ago and I'm still upset about it.

Fantastic experience: Great place. From the first contact on the phone with Jermaine, I had a great experience. The worst part of the repair experience was a 3-hour wait for the tow, since the car wasn't safe to drive - THAT IS NOT the fault of this center. Jermaine was patient, friendly, honest, and helpful. Mechanic called me with diagnosis, gave price estimate, and estimated time of completion. He answered questions and did not treat me as ignorant (which dealers love to do). Got another call (within the time estimate) when car was done and ready to be picked up. Price was reasonable, and it is now my 'go to' place for car work.

Fantastic experience: Really great place to get a quick oil change and they check everything. Rotating the tires is included! Also most of their repairs are covered with a minimum two year warranty. They have a nice waiting area with wi-fi and complementary coffee!

Negative experience: Came to to do my fingerprints here. All bunch of idiots that doesn’t know what they’re doing. They messed up the information on my card and expected me to pay for their mistake. This is a fraud location and I wouldn’t recommend.

Negative experience: Booking an appointment online for service is not an advantage. Twice I booked online, one of which was last week, and I was called 2 hours before my appointment to say they didn't have anything available. Apparently their online booking doesn't line up with what's really available. Such a disappointment.

Positive experience: Received a response from the owner of the Dover, Delaware AAA location, asking me to delete my 3 stars review. He or she should be more concerned about the 1 star review from 2 weeks ago. I was clear in my review, that the review did not pertain to this particular location. However, this location has a big AAA trademark sign on their building. Thus, they are part of the AAA family. If one member of the family engages in negative behavior, it reflects on the entire family. I suggest that they contact their corporate office to report what their contractors/service providers are doing. I consider this review a public service, and also posted this review on other AAA sites. Reviews assist potential customers considering using this service. ______________ This is for Triple AAA members in general. This doesn't pertain to any particular service location. I purchased a battery through Triple AAA. When the service technician arrived, he quoted a price $30 higher than the original price. He said that the difficulty of installing the battery was the reason for the upcharge. I told him NO!!!!! Leave the battery and I would install it myself. It took less than 5 minutes. BUYERS BEWARE. The price for the battery was reasonable, but the upcharge for install was ridiculous. If installing batteries is part of your regular duties, why would it be so difficult for anyone to install a battery.

Fantastic experience: THE BEST SERVICE for your vehicle and travel needs!!!

Negative experience: 0 stars. Truly a horrible experience, only take your vehicles here if you want them to put in the incorrect parts and waste your time. Had batteries and alternator replaced in April only for the alternator to fail twice. The third time the van was brought in to work on for this issue we were told they had installed alternators that were not for the model van and they “didn’t know they would not work for this model” -Roy the assistant manager stated. The actual part they needed had to be shipped across the country and they kept telling us the van would be ready first on Monday then Tuesday then it was finally ready on Wednesday. That was a week+ time they had the van. Roy also stated that he understood our frustration, but this work was being done at no cost to us. However, we paid for it to be fixed the first time and lost a weeks’ worth of income, so it was at a cost to us. Would never recommend anyone sending their vehicles here.

Negative experience: Do not trust this business . Went for tires and was told my “thread “ on 1 tire was reversed so would cost $2,000. I told them to forget it and bring my car to me. Behold the tire then was able to be put on. 2 months later had to have brakes replaced and no problem with the “thread”. They will rip you off

Positive experience: Triple A Service Center has been our car repair company since they opened in Dover. Reasonable prices followed by quick service and friendly staff.

Great communication, trustworthy, skilled, and no pressure or upselling of services. We are happy to recommend them to anyone needing car maintenance and repairs.

Positive experience: Staff was friendly but after talking to several people while we waited for a representative to see us and explaining we were there to check on pricing for WDW, no one knew that AAA no longer offers deals or discounts for WDW, not even the agent. After several minutes on her computer, she had to ask a manager for help.

Fantastic experience: I had a problem paying my membership fee online (my email discount was not applying in full). I tried reaching AAA on the phone twice to resolve it, but I kept getting disconnected. So as a last resort, and with a fair amount of frustration, I went in person to the Dover office. Paul greeted me immediately, with a warm, welcoming smile and a friendly, easy-going demeanor. He looked up my account and had my issue taken care of in just a few minutes. Problem solved! My prior frustration evaporated. Paul was professional, helpful, and used light humor to put me at my ease. He made my AAA visit a very satisfying experience! I feel he's an exceptional employee and an asset to your company.

Fantastic experience: Brought car for an AC diagnostic, I had recently brought it to someone who'd been recommended to me to have a part installed. it hasn't worked correctly since I brought it home, and I've been kicking myself since for putting trust in someone who wasn't a licensed shop on someone else's word. Car care had to give me the additional news that, unless the (ordered brand new) part was broken out of the box, it had been broken during installation, and needed replacing entirely. Again. At this point I'm furious at myself for allowing someone with no liability to jack up my poor old car, and I'm sure visibly PO'ed, which is no fault of the messenger. Person who assisted did not charge what i had been expecting to pay, and as i drove home, I noticed an annoying piece of splash guard that's been falling off, that i haven't been able to pull off, was back up and not dragging all loudly. I just really, really appreciated that today.

Negative experience: I waiting in 98 degree weather for 4 hours. Before they told me they could not find anyone to help.

Fantastic experience: 108825 that did my service got to me fast. I just picked my daughter up from Daycare and was on my way home. I have a Ford Focus 2013 that has been reading my gas mileage wrong and ran out of gas. He came to me I. Less than 10 minutes. He’s nice, good and fast.

Fantastic experience: I needed air in my tires so I stopped in to see if I could have it taken care if in a timely manner. Only had to wait about 10 minutes. Then was told i needed a battery. They had what I needed in stock. I was told the price & had the old battery replaced. All in about 1/2 hour! Great service & attention to my needs! My new go to vehicle service place!

Fantastic experience: I called AAA to talk about my parents and my account. Jeffrey from Dover, Delaware answered my call. He was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about their products. I would definitely recommend checking out their products.

Negative experience: Prices are high and they don’t evaluate your vehicle correctly and want to charge you for something that does not need fixing.

Negative experience: My experience at this location was absolutely horrible! I paid over $4,000 worth of work to be done on my car, and not ALL of the work was done. I am absolutely disgusted that I am still paying for repairs that I already paid for at this location! I have been a AAA plus member for over 14 years! Members should be the last people treated in the way I've been treated these last couple of months...April, May, and June! If you bring your car to this location please, please, please, please have your car checked and double checked to make sure the work was done!! The supervisor Michael will absolutely lie to your face. He told me he put four new tires on my car, and told me if I did not like the tires he put on to just bring the car back. That was an absolute insult, everyone knows new tires, from old tires! Oh and not just that, I'm pretty sure I know my own tires because that's what he put back on my car as if they were new! Sad part is, he just gets a slap on the wrist and on to the next customer! Please be careful people! We are paying customers, and we are paying for a service! Stop scamming people PLEASE!!!

Fantastic experience: If you want quality work done on any European or domestic cars for a good price you need to come here!! I take my BMW to their mechanic Josh and he does amazing work!! The staff is friendly, courteous, and really cares about their customers! You won't be disappointed with them. They will also be very honest and give you an estimate that is spot on!! If you are having issues with your vehicle they are the place to take it too!! If I could give them 10 stars I would!! Best shop ever!!

Negative experience: They chipped the powder coating on my wheels while doing a tire rotation. There are special lug nut sockets with a coating to prevent chipping wheels with painting or powder coating. Either they don’t have them or did not think to use them.

Positive experience: Normally I take my aged (2001) truck in for service and repairs and receive prompt and courteous attention. They always stand by their work. Today, unfortunately, they were unable to address the problem. As there was nothing they could do I was charged the diagnostic charge as per policy and directed to the dealer for service. I appreciate the honesty, but would prefer that the policy be altered to apply to those problems they can handle that the customer has refused to allow for whatever reason.

Fantastic experience: So far my experience has been great with them. I had a tire that kept losing air and they got me in the same morning. I ended up getting four new tires because of the awesome deal they had, in addition to the usual AAA member discounts. I will be returning in the future when my car needs work done.

Fantastic experience: I was very happy from the time I made my appointment to the services that were performed. I was even able to stop by later in the day to look at an annoying issue that needs to get looked at by the dealer. I will be coming back at the end of the month with our other vehicle to get serviced. Thanks to Mike the service manager, and the rest of the staff, for making my experience with AAA Auto Care a positive one. It pays to be a AAA member!
