Negative experience: Avoid at all Cost!!!!! Spent over 2000 getting a problem and services completed… only to get my car back and now it sounds like a truck when I accelerate. Never had this issue prior to getting serviced at this place and my car is a high end luxury car that I have taken good care of!!

Negative experience: They aligned my car and didn't center the wheel.I told manager and we drove car and he had another guy redo it.The second guy did a great job but I watched him smash the door on alignment rack post.He saw the dent he put in it.i decided to see if he'd be honest and he wasn't.He parked carr and said it was done.I said to him please pull car back in before I take custody of it so the manager ca see the damage you did.The agreed to pay to fix it.I had to take it have fixed them submit receipt and wait for the money.No I'm sorry nothing.I respect they took care of it but I haven't been back there in 10 years They ruined my neighbor's wheels and I showed her.Ihad her take it back I know exactly how they did it They are too lazy to take the removable covers off the wheels and used a metal head on tire machine.I hope they got better and better management

Fantastic experience: I switched to AAA AUTO insurance, and so glad I did. I joined as a member and everything. I received so many gifts such as Eagles stickers, a check air pressure, inkpin and flashlight set that came in a nice case. AAA CLIP holders. But most of all, I enjoyed being around so many Eagles fans that worked there. Negative experience: I dropped off my vehicle in June to have new tires mounted. I also opted for an alignment to go with the new tires. After picking the car up, it seemed fine, but I found that it vibrated heavily over 55mph. After taking the car to an independent mechanic to inspect, we found that the vehicle was WAY out of alignment. This should have been a simple in and out service, instead I had to pay somebody else to do the job right. I would NOT recommend this service center for even the most basic of repairs.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have had nothing but great experiences with this AAA location. Most recently they diagnosed a transmission issue for us, only to recommend we take it to the dealer because they felt it could be a common issue Mitsubishi was familiar with, plus it could be under warranty. I really appreciate their honesty. Instead of trying to patch my car up or get me to buy a new transmission, they sent me to someone who could help me more. Negative experience: The AAA website says that the store is open until 5pm on Saturday. When I arrived at 4:10pm I was told by the car care that the travel section closed @ 3pm. I also went to the location on rt73 & arrived @ 3:50pm & they also closed at 3. I called AAA and asked what time the travel section closes at the rt38 location and I was told 4:30pm. I drove to two locations & I was not able to get my International Drivers license. I don’t enjoy wasting my time, especially on a Saturday. The hours of the travel section need to be displayed on the website & the folks that answer the AAA customer service need to be accurate.

Negative experience: I took my car to get an oil change in December. And just found that the oil was leaking all over the place. Because they had put the oil filter on so tight that it was Squeezing the rubber gasket causing it to leak. Also, the drain plug for the oil was overtightened. we could barely get it off with a regular tool. We had to bring it somewhere to get it fixed. Positive experience: Recently use the auto center. Had a coupon for a oil change, new wipers ,and tire rotation for 65.00 Good deal. Check engine light was on that was 180.00 to have them read the diagnostic code. That taking there scanner plug it into my car and interpret the code. 180.00 Turns out the Vapor Canister value was bad. They quoted me 550.00 to replace it. I found it online at a local auto parts store for 50.00. I watched a 5 minute youtube video and was able to replace the part in 30 minutes. Now I have zero experience working on vehicles. I understand there are not in business to give it away for free. Come on, 550.00 for a 50.00 part less then 30 minutes of labor? I need to find a honest mechanic.

Negative experience: Went to AAA for a simple oil change. Drove home after picking up my car and found one of my lug nuts on my driveway. My husband checked my car and found one tire had 2 more loose nuts. Thank God I didn't live further away and that I noticed the lug nut on the floor otherwise I could've been driving on the highway with a loose wheel on my car. DO NOT trust their technicians. Negative experience: Brought my car for an oil change. Have been bringing my car, my mother's car, and my fiancé's car there for probably 4-5 years or so roughly. All i needed was an oil change and I told them I didn't have to wait since I live nearby. Dropped my car off at about 10:30AM or so. Didn't hear anything, so called back at around 3:15. I was told that they were very backed up and that my vehicle had just started to get worked on. I had no problem with that as i wasn't in a rush, just wanted it by end of business day. I asked if it would be ready at 4 and was told, "yes." Went there at about 4:20 and walked in and spoke to Tiffany. Told her that I was there to pick my car up and she said ended up telling me that my car had "just gotten brought in." I was annoyed, but again, didn't really care that much. I understand being busy, so i just went and sat in the waiting area. Was finally told my car was ready. I went and paid and went out to my car. I had exactly $24 ($5, $5, $10, $1, $1, $1, $1 bills) in my center console when I dropped the vehicle off in the morning in that exact order. I literally checked it WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF in the morning that day. I get in my car after getting it back and i had $20 ($1, $5, $10, $1, $1, $1, $1 bills). Someone had literally taken a $5 and replaced it with a $1. I am, without a question or a hint of doubt, positive that someone took a $5 and replaced it with a $1. If i had any doubt, it would be a different story. Some literally stole $4 from me. Now I know its my own fault for leaving the money inside the car, but i guess that I just couldn't imagine someone stealing the money from me. Learned my lesson the hard way. It's only $4 also, but it is just the principle that if someone stole $4 from me, they probably stole from other vehicles also. I went back in and spoke to Tiffany and she called up someone. I was basically told that there was no way to prove that someone stole money, so i was SOL. Very unfortunate situation. Tiffany was very nice, so I couldn't get upset with her. Myself and my family will definitely be going elsewhere from here on out.

Negative experience: This review is specifically for the service department. I couldn’t get in to see my friend for an oil change, and i have my insurance and premier membership through AAA, so i thought I’d try their service department in Mt Laurel. I made the earliest appt hoping i could get in and out- it wasn’t early enough. I sat for about three hours. I didn’t mind the wait to be honest (even though it was much too long for a basic oil change). I just did work and played on my phone. However, when they came out because my car was finished- they tried to hit me with scare tactics and it was absolutely disgusting. They told me my brakes were metal on metal. I’m like ahh ok - knowing full well that was not the case. Then hit me with - we are worried for your safety you shouldn’t drive. Then they asked if I needed a ride home because my brakes were just so bad and it’d be $1700. I leave and go right to my friend’s shop because i didn’t believe them. Sure enough he and his manager both looked over my brakes thoroughly and said they have a few years on them still and couldn’t believe that AAA would try scare tactics like that. My friend told me that they teach you that in mechanics school (hustle/fear- type of sales tactics), but it’s super dishonest and that’s just how some shops operate - especially corporate ones. As a single female, i was really disappointed and I will not return.

Negative experience: Possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had getting a car serviced. I sent my 1992 Mazda Miata in to get fixed because it wasn’t getting any power when I was trying to accelerate, and the battery light was on. I had it towed there because it wasn’t drivable. I made sure to ask if they work on these cars too, because of the age, they confirmed over the phone that they would. They called me and told me the issue was a serpentine belt and it would $140 to fix. I go to pick it up and they handed the car over to me while it still was not drivable. They then told me it was because the car was modified, but that wasn’t an issue when they were replacing the belt which was weird, and because I didn’t tell them about the power issue, but it somehow still made it into their notes (probably because I did actually tell them). They also tried to lie to me and tell me that it took longer to fix then it actually took them. I don’t know why they thought I’d send a car there and be okay with not being able to drive it. Absolutely ridiculous, terrible shop and I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Negative experience: Had my car towed to this for emergency service, due to my car cutting off while driving and not starting back up. They worked on my car, said it was A B & C or it may be Z. All seemed fine when I picked it up on my way to work, which is down the street from the service center. Decided to get food and car wouldn't start again. Had it towed back to the service center for them to see why my car wouldn't start again. They now tell me that it's Z and the dealer would have to fix it. Get it towed to the dealer and they told me to get my money back, because the services they performed would not even address the problem. I go back and talked to the service manager Kevin about the services they performed on my car. He was out of town. Talking to the asst. manager and he said, all they did was maintenance on my car and wouldn't had fixed the problem. Finally talked to Kevin the manager and he asked me to bring in the paperwork the dealership did to see what they did to fix it. Brought the paperwork in and he said that he would see about giving my money back and to give him a couple days. Over 2 weeks went by and still haven't heard from Kevin. Called the facility and was told he was on vacation. Finally get a hold of him for him to now say that I don't deserve a refund. He admitted that what was done to my car wouldn't have fixed my car and he is fine with not giving my money back, even if I came in for emergency repair and all they did was maintenance. Definitely do t recommend coming to this location. They will say anything to get your money even if they are not qualified to work on your car.

Fantastic experience: I was heading out on a road trip and at the last minute realized I needed washer fluid, but couldn’t open my hood. I stopped by the AAA service center late in the day, without an appointment, and the service manager graciously helped me for free. Negative experience: My best friend comes to this location when she needs her car worked on because it's close to our work, and usually flexible. However, they charge her EVERY TIME for services she does not need, and there have been several times that her car has come off the lot in worse condition than when she brought it in. It's ridiculous, so many reviews show this place damaging people's cars under the pretense of "repair" to keep getting more money out of them. She went in for an oil change and you told her she needed an alignment and should pay in advance for 3 of those (does anybody need alignments that frequently??), you told her she had an oil pan leak, you told her she needed about 5 other services that were clearly fraudulent and you charged her over $1000. If you don't want to do simple oil changes and make money only on simple oil changes, don't offer that service. By doing this you're willingly creating and putting unsafe vehicles back on the road. And no, I don't want to email your customer service only to be given a run around like other reviewers have put up with from your automated response bot.

Negative experience: I had a mechanic named Kevin check out my car after getting it towed to the shop. 45 mins later…which tells me he put no effort into finding the actual problem and I get a update phone call from him saying my engine is seized which sounded weird cause it had oil in it and 129k miles but I took his word and decided to sell my car for 700$ When I bought it for 3800$…then the buyer sends me a text the same day and says the air compressor is locked up which is an easy fix and kinda obvious if you know what your doing. Don’t take your car here!

Negative experience: BEWARE..!!! I am not sure how can someone go wrong in oil change. That is basic car service. I used oil change service and my skid plate was not securely fastened. As soon as I got on the freeway I heard very bad noise of skid plate screeching the road. Fortunately, The car from back did not hit me and I was able to pull over on the shoulder. By the time I got back (speed of 10mph on I-295) to service station it was closed. Next morning I was able to rise an issue to service center. They secured damaged skid plate and upon my request they ordered new skid plate and hardware for my car but having only one car it was a lot of hassle to use Cab to go back and forth. I am increasing to 2 star only because they installed new plate. But, end of the day I lost my peace, going through hassle (felt very unsafe on road) and cost me more than it should. How can this serious mistake happens after doing multi point inspection as well.

Fantastic experience: UPDATED 3rd time. Google doesn't allow multiple reviews of a business, so my only choice is to edit my previous entries. THIS AAA LOCATION PERFORMS HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE ITS COMPETITORS! I visited this AAA Mt Laurel yesterday, March 1, 2023, to see if I needed routine service on my front brakes, and again they proved that I can trust their advice and repairs. I've been a customer of this service location for many years, and with three different vehicles. Having visited my dealership's service department a few weeks ago, (now more than 6 months ago), I was told by the dealership that my brakes were in severe need for repairs. I opted instead to make an appointment at AAA Mt Laurel for the brake repairs. A few minutes after checking in for my appointment today at AAA, the service manager came up to me and said I was all set, and that there was no need for service at this point, perhaps at my next oil change. There was no charge. (AND THIS WAS REPEATED YESTERDAY! Still no need for brake work). Now there's a vote of confidence for my dealership, huh! AAA Mt Laurel has done repairs on my various cars over the years, but only when necessary. Their prices are competitive, and often lower than elsewhere. The work performed is always excellent, and usually guaranteed for at least 20,000 miles. Highly recommended! (and then some) FIVE STARS X 3

Negative experience: I had problems with this location in the past. However, I thought some years had past and the service may have improved. Sorry to say it hasn't. My car was dropped off for diagnostic service at 8:00 which was my appointment time. I was told the diagnostic would take about a hour. When I called an hour later for the status of my car, they couldn't locate it. I was told that it was written down as a different car. They apologized and said it was next to be serviced. I went there an hour and half later. The car was still not serviced. Now I was told they would get to it by the end of the day. I politely requested for my car back and went to Bear Tire and Auto. What made me even more upset is that I was ignored at the counter for 6 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. I didn't want to think it was my nationality until a few other caucasian customers came in after me who were greeted immediately. I've been a member for over 20 plus years but I don't feel valued anymore.

Negative experience: Unreal- supposed to be open until 5pm however half the staff leaves at 3pm? Will never be back. Update: had AAA respond to this review asking me to email them. I email them, give them the information they asked for, they offer a voucher for photos, I say great and then CRICKETS. I’ve followed up multiple times and received no response. I always thought AAA was well known for its service, but after this experience I don’t think I could ever in sound mind be convinced to become a member.

Positive experience: I had my car tow to AAA Mt Laurel. My car didnt start. On 3 different occasions AAA jump my battery and I was told by tow truck if their battery checker doesn't tell to change battery they dont.The staff is friendly . However upon arrival at AAA CAR Repair I was told by M that I needed brakes , battery will check all fluids, and sway bar. Price would be $1000. They said I need a new radiator and will cost $600.00 more. When I left I smell something burning in fact I pop my hood and check fluids. Obviously, there wad no fluid in the anti freeze container, no oil I used a white towel and stroke the dip stick no oil and no washer fluid. There was a loud sound in which manager check the tires had no efficient air which cause this noise. It stopped for a while then started again. I believe I was charged for work I didn't need. In the end the noise did stop however this was a inconvenience . wa running back and forth with complaints. My car is a Kia Rondo

Negative experience: Went for an oil change. Arrived 15 minutes before appointment. Was not told they were understaffed. After 1 hour, inquired about my car and was told they hadn't started yet. 2 hours and 25 minutes for oil change. Very poor customer service that day. Knew they were running late when I got there and never said anything.

Negative experience: By the time you read this it’s probably too late for you. I had my Mercedes towed here and the bill was between 1700 and 2300 depending on what I chose to do. I usually have my trusted mechanic do the work, but couldn’t use him because he had a gated lot and it was late at night. The quote was actually correct about the batteries -my car has two, and the alternator, however the rear brakes were fine and I was told to replace them. The total was either 1700 without brakes or 2300 with brakes. I had the job done for 960.00 and the mechanic said the brakes were nearly new. Either way- in an era of 6.00 gas 800 is a huge savings. Just be careful, these guys will charge you for air in the tires! They’re sort of honest, but not really entirely honest. And the level of dishonesty will cost you A LOT! Someone should do a thorough investigation of this shop. I see lots of people have the same types of complaints and no one does anything. Good luck!

Negative experience: Way too slow for a diagnostic! I was told it would take an hour & I will be advised if they need more time. Well 2+ hours, I'm still sitting here waiting. Nothing, NADA. The mechanic is still trying to figure ot out. Better off going to the dealer with these prices anyway!!! They charge $115.00 for a diagnostic that doesn't even get applied to the work that's needed. Not cool as a AAA member.

Negative experience: My daughter took her 2011 Hyundai Tucson to this location .They had the car for three days .After the 3 days they inform her that she needs $4500 worth of work done to the car. That the other AAA shop in Hamilton did not see these issues that they claim were wrong with the car ,nor did Meineke see those issues they claim. This place had her truck for three days . She needed an oil change asked them to do that they hadn’t even done that . Go to pick up the truck they put 2 dents in the passenger side door and put all of these scrapes and scratches on the back part of the passenger side back end of the car. That mind you was not ,again I’m going to repeat ,was not on the car when it was dropped off .This place is horrible.

Fantastic experience: I took my car there 1/17/2022 for an oil change. I spoke with Kevin both on the phone to schedule and then in person when I arrived as he was the one that handled my appointment. Negative experience: AAA Mt Laurel INSISTED I needed an alignment with my new tires because my SUV is all-wheel drive. The car drove straight when I brought it in. After the service, it pulled to the right. When I brought this to their attention the games began. The hoops they wanted me to jump through is just bad business on steroids. I get it, mistakes happen. Good businesses man up and make it right. Bad businesses deny, make excuses, and play games.

Negative experience: I know everyone is generally more stressed these day than ever before, BUT, the way I was just treated at this facility by the Car Care Manager Kevin is beyond ridiculously unprofessional and outright rude. And apparently from the other reviews I see on here I am not the only person that has had this experience with Kevin. Since it appears no constructive changes have been made by Kevin's bosses or any other management above Kevin, regardless of the amount of reviewers here that have had bad experiences with him it would seem that AAA must approve of the way he is mistreating customers. So, I'm not gonna bother listing what happened to me only to get a "canned" response posted by AAA. I have reached out to the New Jersey/Connecticut Division Head Richard and left my contact info on his voicemail. Lets see if he calls me and we can make some progress on what appears to be consistently rude treatment of customers by the person AAA has entrusted to be the Manager. I will update this review accordingly… UPDATE: Kevin never contacted me - nobody ever contacted me. Sad for them.

Negative experience: Both my mother and I got our transmission replaced there and have had never ending problems popping up since. Both cars are relatively new too. 2013 models with only 65,000 miles on one and 100,000 on another. We both have had our catalytic converter go since and both of our tire rod axels have broken since. Doesn’t seem like that could be much of a Coincidence. All within 2 years of transmission being replaced. They have no idea what they are doing there. Beyond frustrated that we both spent 4K on a transmission and since we have both spent another 4K on additional repairs since. Update: 4 years later new transmission needs to be replaced and there was additional damage from metal shavings from previous work. Do not ever use them!!

Negative experience: I would NOT recommend anyone use this location's Auto Center. The "Manager" Kevin has the most polite demeanor until he makes a mistake then he will GASLIGHT you and reveal his truly unprofessional, robotic, disconnected behavior. After I was informed that my vehicle's codes were CATS/emissions based, the Auto Center "repaired" the vehicle. When I picked the vehicle up I was told that car was giving CAT codes and to return for a smoke test should the CHECK ENGINE light return. Within 24 hours the indicator returned so I returned the car days later. The car was held approximately a week (which was ok with me) before I was informed that it was a faulty Purge Valve which is a part the AAA auto center recently replaced. Over the phone I asked several times was this the conclusion from the smoke test to which I was told yes by Gus and to come in to pick the car up. Upon my arrival Kevin informed me that NO SMOKE TEST was done, the vehicle wasn't giving a CAT code any longer, just the code for the purge valve. I need clarification as this deviated from plans discuseed to which Kevin responded with if there's anything else wrong take it to the Dealer, it's probably the CPM Mod., and complimented my attire. Following Kevin's guidance, the dealers Mechanic said AAA's auto center's procedure was done out of order, and the Shop's Manager wouldve known it wasnt properly equipped for certain vehicles, and to contact AAA corporate to get a refund. I did just that. A week or more went by with no contact so I reached on Aug.16, 2021 and was notified that Kevin was to contact me about the refund since Aug. 6, 2021. Kevin called me the evening of 8/16/21 @ 7:14, 7:15, and 7:16pm from his private cell phone. I missed, then returned his call proceeded to receive continual contradictions. He said the following:I should've talked to him and possibly returned the car before taking to the Dealer and calling Corp, he did do a smoke test the first time I brought the car in, he happened to be on vacation for a time frame between the August 6-16th, and he would issue a refund but he hadn't decided in what form. I told him I'd be in the next day to receive my refund in cash since that's the way I paid for it. I showed up the next day asking for my refund to which Kevin responded that the store did not have the cash and he could only mail me a check, that he was sorry for the way I felt, and that I could call Corporate again if I wished. Kevin would go on the respond to every question I had with those answers in a robotic, repeadetive manner. When I asked who made this decision, he finally broke character and answered that HE made that decision and I could call Corp again if I had a problem with it. I asked to see the policy in writing since "HE" was making that decision to which he refused to show me. At that point I had to ask him why he felt this was acceptable and or professional especially if it was a policy preventing a cash refund, he should be able to produce it in writing. Kevin then reverted back to his robotic repeadetive character to answer me. My family has been AAA members dating back to the early 90s and never had this kind of interaction. On my way out the door another female coworker came to back his BS, to which I informed her that Kevin already made it clear it was his decision, and since their a retail store they are required to have cash on hand. She responded by saying they did cash on hand but they can only do same day cash refunds to which I informed her that also needs to be posted if it's accurate. The store sells Membership, tickets, merchandise, travelers checks, food and beverage items, alongside auto repair so it'd be irresponsible and detrimental to the location to not have enough cash to refund approximately $200.00. She bid me good day and I called Corp. to inform them of what transpired and thankfully reached someone who carried professionalism to work. I was assured that matter would be acted upon, so while that gives me some solase, it does leave me with questions.

Negative experience: The Car Care Manager Kevin DiMatteo is the most rude and unprofessional person I came across today at AAA location center. I dropped my GL550 for B7 service at this location and asked multiple times if the location is equipped to service the vehicle type. This guy confidently said that our technicians are confident. Initial price was quoted for all the service. An hour after, I get a call to be informed that labor for engine filter was under quoted and will cost more. I agreed to that and again reconfirmed if your technicians are familiar with doing the work and if not DO NOT perform any service. He again confidently agreed with the statement we will take care. An hour later, I get a call again with the news that changing the engine filter is laborious and required too many parts to be removed and we don't think we can do that BUT we have taken care of other service. I was upset because I clearly mentioned in my previous conversation to have ALL service or nothing. I walked into the store and was talking to another associate who understood my concern and was trying to help but this guy Kevin just walked in and rudely said nope you have to pay else you are not getting your keys. How rude is that for a Car Care Manager to behave with the customer rather than listening and addressing the concern. When I asked to talk to his supervisor, he denied with a straight face that he is out on vacation until Monday and I can come later to talk to him and pick up my car. This guy forcefully made me pay for the service which I did not agree to. Not only this, he misbehaved by telling me to get out of the counter so that he can take other customer while there was NO Other customer behind me or in the line. I had so much of faith in AAA as a company but visiting this location and the experience from today has brought in such a shame for company's name that I will never take my car to this location ever. I have filed a complaint for the Car care Manager Kevin DiMatteo and hope AAA will take appropriate action so that this is not repeated with any other customer. People come with some trust when they walk into for getting their vehicles serviced but this behavior of disrespecting the customer wish and then not listening to the concern is absolutely unacceptable.

Negative experience: Amazing that AAA is so far behind the times. I wanted a recommendation about a city to stop in along my route I'm taking. I asked if I could do it on my app. But, no. They printed out an old fashioned trip tik. So I would have to read their map and drive. I would think they'd be tied in to Google maps.

Fantastic experience: Staff here is super friendly and informative. They're always willing to answer questions and help you find what you need. I haven't used the automotive section here but the mechanics seem friendly and hardworking. They always wave to kids watching through the window in the waiting area.

Negative experience: I had my car towed here for repairs because I had AAA when they called me they told me it was my battery and alternator even though I had my own new alternator in my car the said they don’t use customer supply parts. I agreed to let them do the work even though I didn’t want to because it was way more expensive than me getting the alternator put on by another repair shop but they told me about the 24k warranty and I agreed. I thought they sales rep said my total would be $554 however when I got there it was $567. I told the rep that I only had the exact amount he then have me wait for nearly a half an hour so I can listen to the conversation where it did correctly state $567 they didn’t have Apple Pay and I didn’t have the $12 on me. I was just annoyed because for $12 it cause a big problem eventually another customer offered to pay the $12. A week and a half later my car breakdown I was so but I wasn’t to worried because I had the warranty I took the car to the AAA in Edison because that’s where I was close to when I broke down they informed me that it was my transmission and that all the codes came up for my transmission I explained that I just got the car fix and they said AAA Mt.Laurel need to call them I called them to tell them the situation the rep said the manger wasn’t there but would have him call me the next day which never happened. I called Edison and explain I know the transmission wouldn’t have anything to do with the car not starting and they looked over the car again and found it was the ground wire. Something that Mt. Laurel should of caught when they did the work the week and a half before and the transmission would need service. Mt. Laurel took my money knowing good and well my transmission was messed up and never said anything they did not fix what they were supposed to be fix and had to pay Edison to fix it. I’m so disgusted with this repair shop and currently had to sue them for there dishonest customer service.

Negative experience: Battery quality is poor. Replaced 2x in 3 years, requiring multiple jump starts with no lights left on or doors left open.
