Negative experience: I visited this location for the registration of my new car and interacted with the district manager. Although she presented herself as highly knowledgeable, it became evident that she lacked understanding of out-of-state title processes. I informed her that, having worked at a dealership, I was aware that the title from New York would be accepted in Massachusetts due to the different procedures. However, she dismissed my input and insisted on calling the RMV for clarification. Despite her confidence, she seemed unfamiliar with the proper handling of out-of-state titles. I would recommend avoiding this location, as the staff’s attitude was unprofessional and unhelpful.

Fantastic experience: Tori Mercer was professional, educated and so kind to me. I was in a recent accident and shopping for insurance. She laid out all my options and helped me find the best one for me. I highly recommend calling Tori for all your insurance needs!
Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going to Dale P. at the Marlborough branch for our auto insurance needs for years now. This whole time, Dale has always been very kind and attentive to our situations. Each year when it comes time to renew our insurance and if we have any questions, I know we don't have to stress because Dale makes the process so easy. He's always done what he could to see if we qualify for any special promotions or discounts. He always responds in a timely manner through emails. Dale is patient and really an expert in his field! I highly recommend Dale to anyone for any insurance needs!

Negative experience: If there was a rating less than 1star I would have selected that option. I arrived at AAA Marlborough MA at 9:00 am to do an address change on my insurance policies. There was a previous error which I needed to have corrected so I decided to go in person as opposed to online. I was the first customer to check in. After waiting for 25 minutes, I went to the counter to ask when will I be assisted because I have been waiting and no one has provided any assistance. I was told in a very non-challant manner that one person is in a meeting and the other is on the phone and they don’t know how long it will take. Also they can give me a number to call as they handed me a business card. How rude and unprofessional! After being a member for just under 10 years this treatment is despicable. At all cost please avoid AAA Marlborough MA. Disgraceful.

Fantastic experience: VERY convenient if you have a AAA membership to also utilize their registry of motor vehicle services. What would have taken me an appointment or 2 to 3 hours at the registry, took me 60 seconds at AAA. Walking in, no appointment. Thanks!

Positive experience: Went for registry service. Was told I needed an additional document. I didn't, i got it, went back to then find out they can't issue plates. Went to the registry which is where I found out I didn't need the document. Staff are nice enough. However I'll take knowledge over nice Everytime. management need to train their people.

Fantastic experience: Elsa helped us plan our trip and even though it was last minute, she made it work and we never felt rushed. Even more important, when our trip to Maui went haywire due to an unforseen wildlife she worked and was able to get us seats on a plane to another island, a hotel room and a rental car. Negative experience: Service at this branch has gone downhill in the last couple of years had insurance for auto and work and had to get rid of it they never get back to you my son just got rid of his insurance also and just 10 minutes ago hung up the phone because nobody would answer after 20 minutes

Fantastic experience: The customer service was above and beyond. While we were waiting for my daughters appointment to get her permit (we were 20 min early) we observed others getting serviced. I could not believe how patient and kind the manager and 2 other reps were with the incredibly rude customers. One couple in particular came in basically angry right away. They had one appointment and demanded 2 since “they were there together.” They then showed their shoddy documentation (who would think that a copy of their social security card would be acceptable?!) which they couldn’t use. The calmness and still willingness to help by the manager was admirable. They still left angry as they logically could not get their new licenses but hopefully feel a little bad about the awful way they treated that very kind worker.
Fantastic experience: Had an appointment to use their RMV service to renew my driver's license to a RealID. Process was smooth; I was in and out quickly.
Positive experience: my mother wanted to come here to renew her license, and of course there's always a problem. but thankfully the rude woman that was going to wait on us that had been rude to the two people before us as well, went on break. that's when an older woman, then with brown hair I believe (as the other young lady was heavyset, white, tall and absolutely obviously having a grudge against life in general) I would never have allowed her to wait on my mother so that's why I didn't give it five stars, you might need to check this out because this employee seems very very unhappy. I do not understand how AAA can now be the registry but hey, cool by me. but make no mistake they are just as annoying and bureaucratic as the registry is.

Negative experience: My wife and I booked our honeymoon to Antigua through AAA. Two week trip of a lifetime. The resort and island were absolutely amazing and we had a great trip. My wife dealt previously with an agent who was fantastic and booked all of my wife's travel for herself, family, friends, etc. We began the booking process with this agent. The agent left the company and our file was passed off to another agent. And here is where the frustration begins. Our service level dropped significantly and we could never get a timely response. Very easy to get in touch with when we owed money but after that...nothing. Numerous calls and emails would have to be sent to get one response. We had a 3 way call to change a flight which was never completed. We had to send numerous emails and phone calls to figure out which flight we were actually supposed to be on. We were told it was changed but the itinerary showed the old flight. We could never get a response until I called in and had my call escalated to figure out what was going on. The flight was never changed. We had an excursion canceled because they were never confirmed by AAA after the initial setup. We had no idea until we waited over an hour for the pickup. We then got through to the local company on Antigua who said they were never confirmed. I had a car transfer but could not get confirmation from my agent so I had to fight with the company at the airport to get a car so we could get to our hotel. The stories go on, unfortunately. We ended up canceling all of our previously booked excursions as well as our return car transfer back to the airport because we had zero faith in this company. We booked both through the hotel directly. I was able to get a refund of the excursions but it took 3 emails to get it done. I never received a call or email nor a refund for my return car transfer which I also canceled. Not worth fighting at this point. You can't call there because no one picks up the phone. I left numerous unreturned voicemails throughout this entire process. I will NEVER book through them again for travel. I would have left zero stars if it allowed me. Sad to say as my wife loved them prior to this experience.

Negative experience: Had an appointment, brought the wrong documentation. Got an extension. Got the correct documentation that day, called the branches phone number, and asked if I could come in with the documentation. “Since you had an appointment earlier, you can come in today”. Went back again. “No. You need to make another appointment “. -but I just called and you told me to come in. “ I don’t know who you talked to, but you need another appointment.” GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, AAA.

Positive experience: Friendly staff and quick service. Great time saver for certain RMV services like driver’s license issue or renewal. The only downside is that notary service is not available all the time and it happened couple times that I went in for notarizing documents but that service was not available for that day

Fantastic experience: I went to obtain my new REAL ID, I set up the transaction through the RMV website then logged into AAA to schedule an appointment with the documentation rather than going to the RMV which I highly recommend for any possible RMV service that AAA can do! Avoid the wait and the crowds!!

Fantastic experience: Mr. Brodie and his team were very helpful and kind regarding my application for REAL ID. Everything went smoothly. You need to do a short paperwork and set up an appointment in advance. Due to Covid-19, you may have to wait two weeks to get an appointment. Parking space is no problem. Make sure you bring the necessary documents listed. Some transactions like converting an out-of-state license to MA are not included.
