Negative experience: Horrible roadside service, I called at 2am , just for a flat tire and for them to put a spare on it . They told me they would be there within an hour, liars . they called me back and told me they would be there at 3 45 am . They showed up at 7 am . What a terrible service . DO not use them find any other service but them . They can't even be honest at least I could have gone to sleep ,and then known they would come at 7 am b/c twice they told me the wrong times , horrible horrible service

Negative experience: I’ve been a AAA member for many years. I have my college age kids on my policy as well. We have not called AAA for assistance very many times, but the times we have called, we got zero assistance. Called for vehicle lockout assistance once. Car was locked, running, and partially blocking a lane in a busy industrial complex. After 4 hours of being told that the techs were handling higher priority calls (I guess a locked running vehicle blocking traffic is no big deal), we had no choice but to break into the vehicle ourselves, which resulted in damage to the doorframe and trim. Called for towing inoperable vehicles twice. First time was one of my kids. They were told that a truck would be there within 45 mins. After waiting an hour they were told that due to unforeseen circumstances, there would be no tow truck available for another 6 hours. They had to abandon the vehicle and come back the next day with a friend’s truck and tow strap to move it themselves. And today was the last time: car was inoperable and needed to be towed. Only problem was I wasn’t with the vehicle, not could I be at any time today or tomorrow. I asked if my girlfriend could be there to meet the tow truck. AAA said I had to be there, or I could add my girlfriend to the account. I told them to go ahead and add her to my account. Problem solved, right? Nope. After adding her to my account and letting me know what her membership would cost me, THEN they informed me that she wouldn’t be covered for 3 days, and while because she WAS on my account now, she could be the one to meet the tow truck driver, because she WASN’T officially on my account, there would be an additional $75 (or so) charge because she wasn’t a member. It made no sense, and the person I spoke with couldn’t explain why either, just that’s how it was. I spoke with several different AAA reps after that, and each one of them was exceedingly polite but stuck to their rehearsed scripts, and it was clear that they could not care less about the fact that a dues/ paying member had been left in the lurch without assistance several times in a row. Since being a AAA member, the one thing I’ve found AAA to be great at is spamming its members relentlessly trying to sell all kinds of new services. Positive experience: I have been a member of AAA Plus since 2012. In that time, there have only been a few times that I have had to call or use the app to request roadside service. On average, it's been a good experience with the exception of two crazies that I would have reported if they didn't know where we live. The biggest issue for me is that they only allow four service calls per year, they bill you annually, but as you can see from my snapshot, they say you have two years of roadside assistance within your billing period. I have called customer service but no one can reasonably explain this. Why did AAA not contact a tow service in the Kissimmee, Fl area?

Negative experience: It has now been nearly 9 hours since my call for a tow was placed and still NO TOW. Absolutely horrible service - if you win the lottery and actually DO get through to a rep, the hold time seems to run about 20 minutes before the call predictably drops without warning. No call backs are made by any AAA reps. My mechanic has been waiting for this car all day and I have been stuck at home awaiting an AAA contracted tow driver. I am now again on hold for about 15 minutes so far and expect that the call will be mysteriously dropped in another 5-10 minutes..... Never again.... Never again

Fantastic experience: While the place was packed on a weekend I was able to be serviced immediately upon walking in. I needed two International Driving Permits. Everyone was friendly and efficient.

Negative experience: I have been a member since 1998, this is the worst service ever! I called them 8pm last night, and here we are the NEXT DAY and no tow truck service. It is now 11am and you say now I have to wait to 12:05pm!!! Every time I called they said 2 hours and then have the nerve to say if you are not feeling safe to call 911 or you can get a tow truck on your own and they will reimburse you. The reimbursement department does not answer calls and leave a message saying it will take 3 weeks to reimburse. When you call this office, you cannot get through to anyone and have to select prompts that are not related to what you need. There is NO QUALITY OF SERVICE!! They had the gall tell me that they listed me as a priority!! Their reputation has completely diminished!! If this was my elderly mom going through this it, would have affected her quality of life!! Use your car insurance road service assistance, they are more reliable and act like you are a priority!! Less that ZERO rating!! You need to contract more quality service employees and Tow Truck companies!!

Negative experience: Waited more than 5 hour and still towing truck hasn’t arrived. Not worth it. Called numerous times and the strung me along kept saying 30 min or 10 min but nobody showed up. Worst roadside service ever.

Negative experience: Do not waste your money on AAA membership. My car broke down last night so I requested service at 9:30 and no one ever showed. I kept calling and was told it would be another 2 hours. No one ever came and I never heard from them. What a waste of $150. I will not be renewing. And I will post my experience on nextdoor and Facebook.

Negative experience: I have been an AAA Premire Member since 1978. 0n 7/29/22 I needed a tow to the dealership (8miles) because my new Hyundia Hybrid just turned off. Hyundia didn't care and neither did AAA. I requested a tow at 4pm on 7/28/22. It has been 8 1/2 hours so far. Nothing has happened even after repeated phone calls. They could care less. Amazing.

Negative experience: They are out of stock of INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT for few weeks You will have to do it Online or drive to Kendall or Delray Office

Negative experience: I have been a premier member for a very long time and yes I do use the service. Buyers beware if you use the services provided often and ask for reimbursement when AAA cannot find you a service provider while out of town but within mileage of your membership agreement they will cancel you and elect to not renew your membership....buyer beware. Although they have helped ne in the past I do appreciate them for that but to cancel me for high usage..... so then the theory would be give AAA members who don't use the service there money back. For those that use the service there's over 90% that do not. AAA try and be fair.

Negative experience: We broke down on the side of the freeway with an infant in the car. No one was able to help us. Not sure what the point of having AAA is. We won't have it going forward!

Negative experience: AAA partners with the lowest bidder tow truck companies. What that means to members is the company that is going to tow your car will get to you when they get to you. Anyone calling that company privately ready to pay will get priority over you. I am a “premier” AAA member for the last 8 years and many more before that and finally needed a tow. Called at 10 am. Just got a call that my driver is 45 min away at 1pm. If your time doesn’t matter to you, join AAA. Otherwise, save those annual premiums and just call a local tow company and pay for your service when you eventually need them. I’m definitely not going to renew my membership.

Negative experience: The person who was helping me made me feel like I was bothering her and had no interest at all in answering my questions. She was horrible. I would never use her again. I have had AAA for over 30 yrs and pay faithfully and feel next time I need travel information I will seek help from someone else.
