Negative experience: Horrible roadside service, I called at 2am , just for a flat tire and for them to put a spare on it . They told me they would be there within an hour, liars . they called me back and told me they would be there at 3 45 am . They showed up at 7 am . What a terrible service . DO not use them find any other service but them . They can't even be honest at least I could have gone to sleep ,and then known they would come at 7 am b/c twice they told me the wrong times , horrible horrible service

Negative experience: I’ve been a AAA member for many years. I have my college age kids on my policy as well. We have not called AAA for assistance very many times, but the times we have called, we got zero assistance. Called for vehicle lockout assistance once. Car was locked, running, and partially blocking a lane in a busy industrial complex. After 4 hours of being told that the techs were handling higher priority calls (I guess a locked running vehicle blocking traffic is no big deal), we had no choice but to break into the vehicle ourselves, which resulted in damage to the doorframe and trim. Called for towing inoperable vehicles twice. First time was one of my kids. They were told that a truck would be there within 45 mins. After waiting an hour they were told that due to unforeseen circumstances, there would be no tow truck available for another 6 hours. They had to abandon the vehicle and come back the next day with a friend’s truck and tow strap to move it themselves. And today was the last time: car was inoperable and needed to be towed. Only problem was I wasn’t with the vehicle, not could I be at any time today or tomorrow. I asked if my girlfriend could be there to meet the tow truck. AAA said I had to be there, or I could add my girlfriend to the account. I told them to go ahead and add her to my account. Problem solved, right? Nope. After adding her to my account and letting me know what her membership would cost me, THEN they informed me that she wouldn’t be covered for 3 days, and while because she WAS on my account now, she could be the one to meet the tow truck driver, because she WASN’T officially on my account, there would be an additional $75 (or so) charge because she wasn’t a member. It made no sense, and the person I spoke with couldn’t explain why either, just that’s how it was. I spoke with several different AAA reps after that, and each one of them was exceedingly polite but stuck to their rehearsed scripts, and it was clear that they could not care less about the fact that a dues/ paying member had been left in the lurch without assistance several times in a row. Since being a AAA member, the one thing I’ve found AAA to be great at is spamming its members relentlessly trying to sell all kinds of new services. Years of money down the drain paying for my useless AAA membership.

Negative experience: I’m giving a one star to this location just because of their unwillingness to take my application for an international drivers license at 5:20PM when they close at 5:30PM. I drove an hour to get here, explained to them my situation and they cared less to accommodate me even though I had all the paperwork ready in hand to submit my application. They had such a bad and lazy attitude and one of them shouted “why are you letting him in” as I was opening the door. I really wanted to do business with them but I will be going somewhere else due to their unwillingness to take me in as a customer. I’m not sure how much longer this company will stay in business with employees like in this location.

Negative experience: Whoever was the agent on 10/23 that attended my mother needs to be fired. I did not catch her name but her last name was Spanish. Heavy set individual. She was rude from moment my mother arrived. My mother asked her for two things maps to st Augustine and map to North Carolina. When she rudely asked for the starting address she told My mother “ who comes here to ask for maps anyways when there is Google? “ I’m sorry did she really say that to a customer! Is this employee dumb? She would not have a job if it weren’t for the old generation wanting and needing paper maps. Wow! Horrible service! I wish I knew her first name!

Fantastic experience: Went to this office around midday to get International Drivers Permit. It is a big office and many people work here. After signing in at the front, someone saw me within five minutes, and quickly handled my documents. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Staff here are nice and friendly, office is clean, with comfortable seating in the waiting area. Bathroom is clean enough. If you want them to take your photo it is a $12 surcharge.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service, in and out. Went for my international drivers license and I think it took 20 minutes total. Everyone was friendly and very efficient. They take passport photos there for your international drivers license. Shout out to Rafael, he was on point and excellent.

Fantastic experience: I’m leaving feedback for AMAZING customer service for the Tech that came to help me with a flat tire! MALIK was dispatched and arrived to my location in Pembroke Pines, under 45 minutes! I somehow got a flat tire and he quickly assessed and located a huge screw lodged in my tire. I was thinking he would only be putting my spare but he even offered to repair the tire, saving me so much money that I didn’t have! He even trusted me to send him the $20 it usually costs when I get paid this week! It’s been a rough few months and I just got back from a long summer driving across the country. The fact that he had the empathy and kindness to go ahead and fix my tire, after realizing I was broke, really reinforced my loyalty to AAA! He embodies what any company would want in their employees! His compassion, expertise, and passion for what he does is an example more people should model! Thank you Malik for being you! I hope AAA knows how lucky they are to have you as an employee!!!

Positive experience: I have been a member of AAA Plus since 2012. In that time, there have only been a few times that I have had to call or use the app to request roadside service. On average, it's been a good experience with the exception of two crazies that I would have reported if they didn't know where we live. The biggest issue for me is that they only allow four service calls per year, they bill you annually, but as you can see from my snapshot, they say you have two years of roadside assistance within your billing period. I have called customer service but no one can reasonably explain this. Maybe what I'm really paying for is peace of mind and a little help—because with all the construction going on in South Florida and the loose screws on our roads, no one wants to be stranded out there, let alone at night.

Negative experience: The tow man came, caught an attitude, and left my son and I stranded. I am not renewing my membership with them.

Negative experience: Trying to schedule a trip. Called at 2pm and said someone will call back. Now it's 10 am the next day. Call and she says Liz is available. I get a voicemail this time. I knew I was wasting money on AAA. EDIT: I get a call back and Liz laughs when I say what night I'm looking at, like I'm a moron. Really?

Negative experience: This company is garbage. Every single time we use them it is at least a 4-5 hour ordeal. I have been trying to get my car towed to tire shop to fix a flat since 1:40 yesterday. Took 3 hours to finally have tow truck show up. He was supposed to take me to Costco in Aventura and ended up dumping me at a Publix in Hallandale because his GPS was not working. I told him he needed to turn and he said he had to by his GPS. So I ended up two cities north of Aventura. Then he says if I still want to go to Costco I now have to pay around $50 because of overage miles, it should have been free. I said no. AAA said they would send another tow supposedly within 30 minutes. Two hours later I have to get towed to a friends house bacause they were so late tire shop was now closed. It's now 7:15 at night, 5 1/2 hours later. The next morning I call for another tow at 8:00. At 10:15 the two company says they can't do the tow because they have a super big job they can't pull their trucks off of. So now I have to order another tow. This is insane. Find a better company for emergency service because this is not a unique experience, it's typical.

Negative experience: These guys are a joke. I’m 10 min from their office for a flat because I didn’t have my Jack with me. I placed the request at 1:10 p.m. and it said a driver would be there at 1:30… nobody every came!! I called 5 times and they kept telling me over and over someone would call me with an ETA and nobody did!!! I spoke to Orlando and he kept me on hold for 25 minutes after I’ve already been waiting for 5 hours, and he takes me off hold only to tell me “sorry nobodys coming.” THESE PEOPLE ARE A JOKE. Orlando, great operation you got running here.

Negative experience: My encounter with Triple A unfolded like a scene from a suspenseful drama, but unfortunately, the real-life experience lacked a satisfactory resolution. Stranded on the side of the road in the enveloping darkness, I found myself waiting anxiously for four grueling hours. The promise of timely assistance from Triple A turned into a hollow assurance as they failed to show up or respond to my increasingly desperate calls. In the midst of this frustrating ordeal, the silver lining emerged when my dad, thankfully, came to my rescue after the seemingly interminable wait. It's disheartening that a paid service, which should be synonymous with reliability and swift assistance, could leave a customer in such a vulnerable state. The dramatic narrative of being left in the dark for hours by a service meant to provide safety raises unsettling questions about the integrity of Triple A. Trust, once broken, is not easily mended, and this incident has irreversibly altered my perception of their commitment to their customers. Roadside assistance should be a lifeline, not a source of disappointment, and it's unfortunate that Triple A fell short of delivering the peace of mind that a paid service should inherently provide.

I recently had an unpleasant encounter at the AAA office in Sunrise, FL, where the extended waiting time and unhelpful attitude of the front office staff left me frustrated. Upon arriving, we requested assistance and were met with an unnecessarily lengthy wait. The lack of communication regarding the delay was disheartening. When we inquired about the status, the front office lady responded in a rude manner, dismissively stating that we simply had to wait. This experience not only showcased a disregard for customers' time but also highlighted a lack of professionalism in handling inquiries. The combination of extended waiting times and an unhelpful attitude made this visit to AAA in Sunrise, FL, an overall disappointing and frustrating encounter. Negative experience: Horrible!!!! I walked in and there were no other customers. I’ve been a member for 21years and this was my first experience of visiting an actual site. I was looking for information on lodging for an International stay and no one wanted to assist me. The excuse I received was I’m going on vacation or I only have 3 minutes. I was very pleasant the entire time so I’m sure my demeanor is not the reason they didn’t want to assist. I’m wondering if my physical appearance or their perception of my wealth status would have made a difference. Wow, I haven’t been made to feel this low in a long time. I’m hurt and disappointed as a consumer and longtime AAA member. What a horrible 1st time experience in their office. Please try and do better. This horrible experience was at the Plantation office on Sunrise Blvd.

Fantastic experience: Came here to get my international driving permit as a non AAA member. It was quick and easy. They charged me $20 for the permit and $12 for the photo, no wait and friendly people

Positive experience: This is THE place to get your international driver's permit and the facility was nice and the service was prompt. However, AAA seems like a business equivalent to a phone store that only sells corded rotary dial phones that mount on the kitchen wall.

Fantastic experience: We have only been customers for about 3-4 years and have roadside as well as insurance. Have not needed the roadside assistance. Tania has always assisted us since day 1 and we have been extremely pleased. We saved a lot of money on insurance and always receive excellent service, along with prompt responses. Highly recommend them.

Negative experience: If they had an option for zero stars, I would put that. Called for a tow and everything at 12 pm and my car still has yet to be towed at 3:15pm. On the updates it said 2:25 pm the latest but the tow driver just called me at 3:15pm saying he’s 35 mins away. Not only is that inconvenient and inaccurate, there was no way to get to customer service or the tow truck driver due to every time it being an automated voice message. Triple AAA sucks there is no point of having it, it heads to the car stress and is very pointless to have because it’s not convenient at all and not customer service oriented.

Fantastic experience: I needed to have my car towed by AAA. They sent Dwayne, who arrived on time. He was great, took control of the situation and was very efficient and quick.

Negative experience: Waiting on the highway for almost FOUR hours and they still did not arrive! No follow-up or call from the company or driver. I called back AAA at least 5 times with repeated unfulfilled ETAs. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Negative experience: Stuck on the side of 75. Called 800 number. Currently have been waiting 3 hours. Found out triple A is contracted with limitless towing, they need to end contract and work with another company. If you go to limitless towing they are rated a 1 star. Why would triple A be contracted with someone that provides this kind of service?

Fantastic experience: 15 minutes to go from not even having a passport photo to getting my international drivers license in my hand and out the door. The process of the reception desk to the processing desk and employees are extremely efficient

Negative experience: The worst roadside assistance ever. I mistakenly left my keys in my car in an area I am not familiar with , all of my belongings were inside my car only thing on hand was my cell phone , I had a family member call the roadside assistance to send aide to help me. Called them around 10:30p.m and sent my claim, a representative then called maybe 3 minutes after that and stated that someone would be to me no later than 30-40 minutes. However 3 hours went by with no assistance I was still on the side of the road stranded and scared because I was not familiar with the area could you talk about caring for your customers? As I kept calling the customer service line they kept stating that someone was in route , when they never were I don’t get it. This should not be allowed to get keys unlocked in YOUR car from a roadside assistance that YOU PAY FOR YEARLY UNACCEPTABLE!!

Negative experience: Tripple A Fleet, Plantation Fl. On vacation and need a tow service. I placed a call at 9:55 AM and was told I would receive a phone call from the driver. I asked how long should the call and service take, and I was told whenever they call??? In SoCal they provide a time line and the driver does call. One hour pasted and no call. I called in and they said I would be the next customer after the current tow in progress and the driver should arrive by 12:00pm. 12:008 and no driver. I called back and was placed on hold. I was told now I need to wait until 1:25pm. I asked to file a complaint and was transferred to a rep and filed a complaint. I’m wondering how many other people this have happened to you have never filed a complaint and ours have and are still getting this terrible service. If my elderly parents were here, they would be waiting over three hours, and that would drastically affect their health because they cannot be away from home that long. I hope someone at the AAA corporate level addresses this unacceptable service. I’ve been a member for over 40 years often on and have never experienced this level of inadequate service and length of delay, waiting for a tow or not receiving a call back at all whatsoever. I encourage you to follow up with phone calls to AAA if your service is not provided within 30 minutes that will assure at least she will be on the dispatch list and not floundering. Once you get on the dispatch list and you can follow up every 30 minutes to make sure that they are going to send a driver. Once you get a confirmation that the driver has been dispatched, on the way, you may want to ask for an ETA and have them request the driver to contact you. This will confirm that what they say is true and the driver is actually on his way. If you do these things, you may only have to wait one hour to hour and a half. Otherwise, she may be stuck like me waiting for three hours for a local tow. I am very disappointed in the service and even more frustrated because I’m on vacation. I wish all will receive better service than I have received, and that someone at corporate will address this complaint, because I’m sure there are many others who have had the same experience, but do not voice their opinion. Lastly, the representative I spoke to said that this is happening more and more frequently in the past couple of years. I would expect this from contract services. However, the call went to a AAA fleet provider, so this is a internal issue that needs to be addressed with her providers, especially at the Fleet level.

Negative experience: We needed to notary my US passport so it could be apostilled by the Florida Department of state. I called twice to find out whether they can satisfy the requirements for this job. When we came there after driving for 40 minutes, the Public notary in the office had no idea what we were asking for, and she admitted that she doesn't have qualifications to perform this notarization. Her attitude was rude and highly unprofessional. We left empty-handed and frustrated. Don't use this office for serious notary service.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible service cancelled my tow three times and just kept making different excuses each time I called why they couldn’t send someone out. I wasted a whole day waiting. I don’t even know what I’m paying for with these people if they don’t show up. Now I’ll have to call a real tow company tomorrow and pay them too

Negative experience: Don't do busy with AAA! Customer service doesn't exist anymore! Wait time for vehicle towing is outrageous! 4-8 hrs is normal, if anyone even bothers to show up! I'm done for good with there roadside assistance.

Negative experience: I’ve only had to use my AAA service three times in my entire life. Every single time they give me an ETA, the ETA passes, i call and they say “oh the driver isn’t responding sorry let me send someone else” and then i wait another 2 to 3 hours each time. I really don’t understand how i haven’t had one positive towing experience with this company in 15 years.

Negative experience: Roadside service requested @ FLA Turnpike @ Fort Drum Service Plaza. 11/29 2:30 pm. Smoke from engine/ AC compressor/clutch disengaged. AAA contacted. Dispatched flat bed tow to Ft Laud. AAA dispatched tow truck from PalmBay/Melbourne area 50 miles out from Ft Drum Service Plaza. 3 hr wait time. Why did AAA not contact a tow service in the Kissimmee, Fl area?

Negative experience: It has now been nearly 9 hours since my call for a tow was placed and still NO TOW. Absolutely horrible service - if you win the lottery and actually DO get through to a rep, the hold time seems to run about 20 minutes before the call predictably drops without warning. No call backs are made by any AAA reps. My mechanic has been waiting for this car all day and I have been stuck at home awaiting an AAA contracted tow driver. I am now again on hold for about 15 minutes so far and expect that the call will be mysteriously dropped in another 5-10 minutes..... Never again.... Never again

Fantastic experience: While the place was packed on a weekend I was able to be serviced immediately upon walking in. I needed two International Driving Permits. Everyone was friendly and efficient.

Negative experience: I have been a member since 1998, this is the worst service ever! I called them 8pm last night, and here we are the NEXT DAY and no tow truck service. It is now 11am and you say now I have to wait to 12:05pm!!! Every time I called they said 2 hours and then have the nerve to say if you are not feeling safe to call 911 or you can get a tow truck on your own and they will reimburse you. The reimbursement department does not answer calls and leave a message saying it will take 3 weeks to reimburse. When you call this office, you cannot get through to anyone and have to select prompts that are not related to what you need. There is NO QUALITY OF SERVICE!! They had the gall tell me that they listed me as a priority!! Their reputation has completely diminished!! If this was my elderly mom going through this it, would have affected her quality of life!! Use your car insurance road service assistance, they are more reliable and act like you are a priority!! Less that ZERO rating!! You need to contract more quality service employees and Tow Truck companies!!

Negative experience: Waited more than 5 hour and still towing truck hasn’t arrived. Not worth it. Called numerous times and the strung me along kept saying 30 min or 10 min but nobody showed up. Worst roadside service ever.

Negative experience: I have been an AAA Premire Member since 1978. 0n 7/29/22 I needed a tow to the dealership (8miles) because my new Hyundia Hybrid just turned off. Hyundia didn't care and neither did AAA. I requested a tow at 4pm on 7/28/22. It has been 8 1/2 hours so far. Nothing has happened even after repeated phone calls. They could care less. Amazing.

Negative experience: I have been a premier member for a very long time and yes I do use the service. Buyers beware if you use the services provided often and ask for reimbursement when AAA cannot find you a service provider while out of town but within mileage of your membership agreement they will cancel you and elect to not renew your membership....buyer beware. Although they have helped ne in the past I do appreciate them for that but to cancel me for high usage..... so then the theory would be give AAA members who don't use the service there money back. For those that use the service there's over 90% that do not. AAA try and be fair.

Negative experience: AAA partners with the lowest bidder tow truck companies. What that means to members is the company that is going to tow your car will get to you when they get to you. Anyone calling that company privately ready to pay will get priority over you. I am a “premier” AAA member for the last 8 years and many more before that and finally needed a tow. Called at 10 am. Just got a call that my driver is 45 min away at 1pm. If your time doesn’t matter to you, join AAA. Otherwise, save those annual premiums and just call a local tow company and pay for your service when you eventually need them. I’m definitely not going to renew my membership.

Negative experience: The person who was helping me made me feel like I was bothering her and had no interest at all in answering my questions. She was horrible. I would never use her again. I have had AAA for over 30 yrs and pay faithfully and feel next time I need travel information I will seek help from someone else.
