Fantastic experience: So very pleased. Steve and Thomas who checked my car in for service are friendly and knowledgeable. Rob the car care manager explained everything about what our auto needed in exact detail and for one repair he suggested competent people he trusts. I will return to AAA and I recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I just moved to the Florence, Kentucky area from Michigan, and after a costly move, I ran into unexpected car troubles. After calling several mechanics in the area, I spoke with Steve at the Florence location. I explained the issues with my car and the limited warranty I had, and he immediately took charge of the situation. Within less than two days—ordering parts and dealing with my warranty company—he had everything taken care of. On top of that, he understood my financial situation after the expensive move and worked with me to get a fair price. The level of service and care I received was outstanding. I couldn’t ask for a better mechanic shop! Thank you for taking the burden off my shoulders and making this experience as painless as possible. I'm so happy to be here in Kentucky and even happier to have found a trustworthy auto shop!

Negative experience: Zero star rating. My wife had a simple flat tire needing repair while I was out town so she took her SUV here since the shop was in the neighborhood and she previously had excellent service at the Sumeral shop in Walton KY. This place though, they gave her some story about how the tire couldn’t be repaired and sold her 4 new tires. (It was a nail in the tire and all 4 tires were just over 1 year and about 10K miles wear). So new tires to the tune of under $500. Since then the vehicle has experienced 2 complete flats due to bad valve stems. This time the flat has come at an hugely inconvenient time. We needed to transport her father back to our home from the hospital, however the only car he can in and out of (the wife’s SUV) is sitting here at home with a flat. So that cost us the medical transport to get him home, ($1500). I’d love to tell this has been my only “ less than pleasant” experience with them, but they have done this to wife a couple times now. I’ll be collecting all their bogus repairs and filing a case with the BBB. Quite honestly, this place should be shut down for unethical practices. Sure everyone there is “friendly” as they charge you top dollar for substandard parts and repairs.

Negative experience: I'm at the one in Florence,KY on US 42. I was quoted 89.00 for an oil change and free tire rotation. When I explained I had a company account they said they would need to now charge for the tire rotation??? What?? We paid for the service and will not be back! They quoted 45 min to complete the service and after 2 hours I am still waiting! Plus they tried selling me everything under the sun. Stay clear of this place! Aweful!!!

Negative experience: Won't replace a brand new battery that came in my car when I bought it. Battery is 6 months old. Shady and will not be back.

Negative experience: These people are thieves. They quoted me a repair for $4,000 and would not itemize what that cost entailed (parts, labor, etc.) or clarify what the issue with my radiator was beyond ‘it just needs to be replaced’. Another garage was able to fix it for $600. Go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed with every aspect to the service we have received from this business. We have taken in three vehicles with various maintenance and service needs. The customer service is so friendly and helpful. The work we have had done has been quality work for a reasonable price. They have never once suggested anything other than that which is necessary or beneficial. Being new to the State, it is always a relief to find a trustworthy place to take our vehicles.

Negative experience: Awful service My 24 year old daughter had a nail in a tire purchased here. The tire needed replaced because of the location of the nail …fine She also inquired about a shaking in the front end which was diagnosed as warped rotors She told them that they put the brakes on and it should be warrantied. They said she had too many miles for it to be covered. She has been back there already once to have this issue fixed. Still does shake. Oh, of course they could fix it for $450. They also told her that she was low on oil. That car has never used a drop of oil All they saw was a young girl that doesn’t know much about cars and they took advantage of her I’m surprised they didn’t sell her blinker fluid We won’t be back

Positive experience: Not the best experience over the last few years. Although the staff was nice, there are suppliers available that can match tires to use cases better.

Positive experience: Before going there you have to understand, this store sales products. You might end up paying more than your original budget. Before signing or authorizing any work done in your vehicle, read the invoice carefully.

I feel like I used to be able to get a good deal when it was just AAA location , not so much anymore.

Negative experience: Our experience at this facility is exactly the type of situation that makes the general public HATE car repair facilities. The people in charge of helping us with our truck, especially employee Rob Hicks, KNEW that we were on a tight time table because we broke down on the way to an important event in Pittsburgh. They took advantage of our necessity to get our truck back because we had to have it to haul our trailer. We had to have it done before lunch that day otherwise we would have rented a truck for the trip. They took advantage of all this and all the truck needed was an oil change. But they said the plugs were warped, which I never saw, and said "major wiring" needed replaced, which ended up being only the plug wires. I'm a licensed mechanic and I know exactly what it takes to replace plugs and wires... they charged us 30 DOLLARS A PLUG!!! And then charged us 500 DOLLARS IN LABOR for a job that literally took 45 minutes. Yes, we picked up the truck and made our event, but they charged us absolutely ridiculous labor and parts prices and exploited our need to have the truck finished that morning. The bill was over 1000 DOLLARS, TO DO AN OIL CHANGE AND REPLACE SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES... It took 45 minutes. This facility should be ashamed of itself, period. And finally, they absolutely pushed the replacement of the plugs and wires on me without ever showing me the bad plugs and wires. Then, after all this, the check engine light pops on 15 minutes after picking up, ONE OF THE PLUG WIRES WASN'T EVEN ON THE PLUG! This facility is exactly what is wrong with tire and auto shops, and I'm going to every public forum to write this exact review so that NO ONE has to deal with them if they can prevent it. Shame on them and shame on you AAA for exploiting working people in times of need.

Fantastic experience: While visiting Newport I came back to a flat tire. Aired it up and started my trek trying to find any place that could help. These guys fit me in shortly before closing and got me back on the road with fast and professional service and even went above helping me keep my car clean and recommending items I need in my car. Not only do I recommend them I will make the drive from Lexington up here in the future whenever I need tires. Shop is clean, organized, professional. The waiting area is clean, organized, and welcoming. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They had my somewhat rare tire size in stock when no one else did. (275/45R20)

Fantastic experience: My AC went out 4 days before I was leaving to go out of town and I needed the truck. They got the AC fixed and did an oil changed in time for me to make the trip. AC is still blowing ice cold .

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would, because they don't deserve 1. Took my car in because I had a bolt in one of the tires. Got 2 new front tires that day. At 10pm while I was taking my son home from his sports lessons it went completely flat. Bad valve stem. I had to stop 4x in the dark...in the rain...to put air in the tire to make it home. Finally got it back in 2 weeks later. Then my tire light wouldn't go out. I stopped BACK in again, and they assured me it would go out on it's own. It didn't. And I didn't know another tire was losing air until it too went flat. In between that time I managed to lose both hubcaps that were on the 2 tires they replaced. And when I went to get my newly flat tire replaced (somewhere else) they informed me since I have AWD that the 4 tires should match in tread. Needless to say, they neglected to tell me this when I got the front 2. Overall, I was better off driving with a bolt in my tire than letting the folks at Bob Sumerel/AAA get near my car. They've cost me a mint.

Negative experience: I dropped my wheels off to have the tires removed and that’s all I needed done. I dropped them off at 3pm and by 5:30 they were still not done. Someone came in after me for an oil change and tire rotation and we’re done by 4pm. This is ridiculous and as I grab my wheels and put them back into my truck, an employee tells that no one even mentioned anything about them and they didn’t have a work order for it. I’ve been coming here for years with 3 cars and I’ll never come here again

Fantastic experience: I am from out of town and needed some tires ASAP. I called this place and spoke to a very nice gentleman named Bobby. He looked up tires for me and tell me the best price out the door. Are they didn’t have the tires I wanted in stock so unfortunately he took it upon himself to upgrade me for no extra charge for my inconvenience lol. I also couldn’t find my wheel lock key for the first time ever ‍♂️ they did their tricky mechanic stuff and had no problems changing out the tires. I am very pleased with the customer service at this location and will be doing business here in the future

Plus the wait for me and one other person was long. Highly recommend going elsewhere. No effort was made to honor advertising or keep my business.

Could not patch tire with nail in it due to company policy per Nicole Caldwell assistant manager. Ask to see company policy...."Doesn't know where it is!" Didn't look! Tires are dated per mechanic 2018. Only drive this car 3 months out of the year. Ask for the General Managers name and refused to comply. I did leave my name and # for him to call. Not a professional atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Stopped in to get air in my tires. They never asked if I was a customer and gladly did. In fact the GM filled the tires, explained why he was going a little higher than recommended, etc. Great customer service and focus!

Negative experience: This company advertised standard oil changes for $13.99 for AAA members and $23.99 for non members. Upon paying they informed me it would be $78. After asking why it wouldn’t be the advertised price, the associate informed me they didn’t carry the correct oil, so I would just be getting a AAA discount making it $78. The associate proceeded to be rude to us when questioning the price.

Fantastic experience: I called ahead to ask if they could do a tire repair due to me noticing a slow leak in my front passenger tire. They said I could come right over-upon arrival I was greeted and helped right away. The patch took about 20 minutes but they were sitting on 4-5 card ahead of mine. I appreciate then dedicated someone to do my minor job and not just making me wait until the more involved work with other customers was complete. Would highly recommend

Positive experience: **update** manager was beyond understanding offered to have fixed, I was satisfied with refund. Very glad they made it right. Beyond upset with my recent service on Saturday April 23 2022. Brought them 4 tires to mount and balance which they did... completely ignoring recommend clocking of the tire to valve stem (which isn't a HUGE deal because it does still balance out, just not optimal as most of the time more weight will be required if ignored) I could've looked past that if they hadn't gouged the lips of all my rims and almost damaged my lugnut cover beyond fixable. Stock rims at that. Nothing out of the ordinary, not low profile tires that are sometimes harder to mount. Just regular stock rims same exact tire size as stock. They need to either train their employees better, fire employees not doing their job correctly, or at least fix this issue. Of course with it being Saturday, closed Sunday and my work schedule I have no idea how long this will take to get taken care of or if they will even own up to it. IF YOU WANT YOUR STUFF TO STAY IN GOOD CONDITION DO NOT GO HERE.

Negative experience: I got a flat at Rt 4 and 275 east. I called at 1:00 and dispatch said because I was in that position, a priority would be put on my call. The tech woukd call 10-15 min before arrival. At 140 I get a call asking where I was exactly because tgey can't find me at rt 4 and 75 east. I said because I'm not there, I'm at rt 4 and 275 east. There's no 75 east. The lady was so confused abd couldn't understand where I was. Finally she said they were on their way. 150 I get a text that the tech is on the way. 200 I get another call and tge guy is trying to find me at Winton rd and 275. I calmly but frustratedly told him where I was. He couldn't get it. Finally he understood and said he'd be there in 30 min. That's one exit away. Why does it take 30 min to go one exit? He finally gets there and is apologetic. I've never had problems with AAA before but twice the techs were sent to the wrong place. I finally left there at 3:00. Not a good experience this time
