Fantastic experience: I had to shop homeowners insurance because I got a non-renewal letter from my current policy. Kristin helped me at AAA and she was so very helpful in every step of the process. I ended up moving three policies over to AAA because they were less expensive and provided better coverage. I highly recommend you sit with them and review your current policy and see what they can offer.

I live 45 minutes away and it was a big time suck on my work day, but the staff there was really quick and efficient and I appreciated that. I wish they had some evening or weekend hours given that they are really the only ones in quite some distance who can do this, but I liked how fast they took care of everything once I was there. Very good service.
Negative experience: Very slow attention, they always call, saying that they are already going to pick up the car, they even give you a time and then call to say that you are on hold. I got a call at 10:30 PM that they were already going for the car and to stay on standby. I stayed until after 12 midnight waiting, they never showed up. On Monday, they continued the game of saying they were coming, giving me a time, and then calling to say it's on hold again. I called AAA service, and they told me they would resolve it in an hour. I have repeated the call more than 7 times with the same responses. I was waiting at home with the mechanic to fix my car. How frustrating, what bad service.

Fantastic experience: I got my International Driver’s Permit here for a trip to Serbia. I arrived 20 minutes before closing and I could tell the woman that would help me was a bit frustrated because she was in the midst of closing out. I filled out the paperwork quickly and we went over to take the pictures, but the paper was out and she had to replace it. After repeatedly getting errors on the machine, I called customer service to troubleshoot and figured out that they received the wrong replacement package. Now it’s already closing time and they can’t take my pictures. She waited for me while I ran to Walgreens (but they said they couldn’t take the photos because the were coming out yellow- turns out that didn’t matter for IDPs and I should have gotten them there anyway) and then drove further to CVS. By 6pm I got back to the office and she refunded me for the photos and finished up my permit. I felt so bad but really appreciated that even though she wanted to leave by closing time, she still stayed and made sure I got what I came for since I drove an hour to get there, despite all of the extra trouble and unexpected hassle. And btw, she asked for my AAA membership card and I don’t have one but besides offering to sign up for $20 off, I didn’t feel pressured/wasn’t stopped from getting my IDP.

Negative experience: Melborne obviously don't have a connection with Pennsylvania AAA....they messed up our car insurance, kept sending us cancelation notices, it was a nightmare but it finally got resolved
Fantastic experience: I attended a mature driver's education course with many excellent suggestions for aging drivers. The presenters were prepared and engaged the participants positively in the activities. Would recommend the course to anybody.

Negative experience: My experience with AAA was very poor. I waited for 3 hours for a response from AAA ( from 10 p.m. till 1 a.m.) - they could not find anyone who could tow my car. I am very disappointed.

Negative experience: I don't appreciate being lied to. Went for the International Driving Permit. Mind you, the website does not say anything about having to be a member to have it done, well, the woman at the front desk turned me away because she will only do it if I was a member and offered me to buy the membership. I kept pressing, saying that I don't want the membership, she replied that I can go ahead and send it in the mail. I checked the website again. No mention of needing to be a member. Don't lie about something that can easily be checked online.
Negative experience: They tell you that you need a AAA membership to get the International Driving Permit and I called 5 other offices near the area and they said it’s not needed. According to an employee there the manager requires it

Negative experience: Well...I JUST joined a week and half ago. Called early this a.m. to set up towing appt for this afternoon. I was told between 12:30 and 2:30. I would get a call 15 minutes before. At 2:40 I called to inquire where tow was. NO RECORD OF MORNING CALL!! NOT IMPRESSED SO FAR!
Negative experience: Beware of AAA. My daughter's transmission went and she was an hour away from home and alone. Called AAA at 7pm. They kept telling her that someone was coming and giving her estimated arrival times... 9:28, 10:02, 10:45 and a few more. They NEVER showed up! At 1am she called an Uber to get her home at 2:30am!!! Today, back in touch with AAA, they say that they'll tow her car on Saturday (this happened Wednesday). Thanks for leaving my teenage daughter stranded alone all night and stringing us along with arrival times!!! Moral of the story, don't depend on your AAA membership to help you in an emergency. Have a back up plan.
Negative experience: I have been a AAA since 1989. Have had memberships in all four states I've lived in since then. Florida AAA is hands down the worst. Auto insurance rates are nearly $1000 more than others for the same coverage. Plus, the main purpose for having my Premier Platinum RV membership, roadside assistance is practically non-existant in Brevard County. Expect to wait HOURS for a tow. With no ETA. If you even get o e at all. I have a van which is technically a standard passenger vehicle. Not even an RV technically. However, still waiting going on 4 hours now.
Negative experience: If only I didn’t have to leave any star review! You just left my 86 year old father sitting on the side of the road for the last 5hrs! We arrived to wait for you at 4pm with him Promised someone was going to arrive at 510 545 we called back and now they can not give us a time due to high demand in the county.. We will be cancelling his membership and giving our business to others! ZERO STAR REVIEW
Negative experience: I am a AAA member since 2016 but never had AAA insurance. Yesterday I contacted AAA in Melbourne Florida to get a insurance quote. The lady by the name of Katherine took my call and said she would call me back with a quote. After waiting for five hours I called again. This time guy by name Robert took my call. Robert promptly provided me a quote. The best AAA could offer me was a quote of $825 for my 2006 Toyota Camry. This qoute was for liability coverage. Later, through some other Insurance company I got a quote for $749 that would offer comprehensive collision coverage. I am still waiting for quote from Katherine. That is how much AAA cares about its loyal customers. AAA roadside assistance is as bad as their insurance quotes.
Negative experience: Left me stranded for over 24 hours then said the location can't help me
Negative experience: Pretty useless place. I went there to use their notary service, which is supposed to be included in my AAA membership, but the notary didn't want to notarize my simple one page form. What exactly am I getting for my membership payment?
Negative experience: I wish I could say we had a good experience but we were completely ghosted by Laura G when trying to plan our trip to Europe. Unless you want to get your emails and calls ignored, DO NOT work with Laura G!
Negative experience: We pay to become members for years but this agency is not able to even notarize your signature and even less to rescue anyone as they suppose to be. Just read the other's comments. Simply ridiculous!

Fantastic experience: I have been with AAA since 1980. I would not be without it. And here in Florida they are especially awsome helped transfer and get acclimated to how things work down here. The people in the office were terrific with everything and saved me money with more coverage. Lol THANKS AAA

Negative experience: If I could give ZERO stars, I would. My car broke down last night at 8pm. I waited until 3am, placing 6 calls to AAA asking why the tow truck has still not shown. I keep getting pushed off every hour, by each AAA representative I speak with… Lie after lie that a tow is on its way… and I PAY for to be treated like this? Getting placed on hold for over 30 minutes by one guy. Trash customer service… you can do better, AAA!

Fantastic experience: Called AAA for our flat tire and they responded very quickly. Rob was extremely helpful, went above and beyond, for that we are so grateful. He was able to tell us where to get great service for the tire (and where not to) His recommendation was spot on. I cannot tell you what that means when you are traveling, especially since we are from Canada. We get AAA hoping you don’t need it, but so glad when you do.

Fantastic experience: Actually all you have to do is give them a call to start an account (do yourself a favor, don't let yourself break down without being a member of AAA!) Or renew. If you need to renew and you're in the area, stop in. It's so easy to renew by phone!
Fantastic experience: Rental Electric car died, very helpful contractor from Vice Towing helped assist with trying to charge car at viera mall then towed it to a nearby 7/11 for fast charger
Negative experience: I've had not great, but acceptable experiences with AAA Emergency Road Service in the past, for battery jumps and flat tires. A few years back it averaged maybe 30 minutes, in more recent years it's more like 1 hour to 1-1/2 hours. But, a couple of days ago I had my alternator die that left me stranded on a road passing through a dangerous neighborhood. I needed to get towed (flat-bed tow truck). I made it extremely clear to AAA that I was in a dangerous area. Regardless of that, with my first call at 3:55 pm (of many that day and the next day), the tow truck did not show up until 9:19 am the NEXT DAY, 17+ hours later. Luckily I'm still alive and well to write this review.

Positive experience: Initial rep was not friendly, while she was helping another customer, I started to walk around the space. She told me I could not walk around the space to look at other travel items. While I was waiting she was providing service to another customer & appeared irritated with the customer. After a 7-10 min wait a second rep asked if she could help. She provided the 2 maps requested.

Negative experience: AAA = Barnum and Bailey’s Circus Redux 2022. Been a member since 1991. AAA(BnBC2022) has come a long way since then. Alas, the Long Wrong Way. 5July2022 2130: First time used is years. Called in for a tow. Got [sic] Customer Advocate Black Jesus who proceeded to tell me his life’s story about his relationship with his father, his Walk With God, and that if I hang up on him, I am hanging up on Jesus. Yeah, you just can’t make this up. After 20 minute call (getting thru the RoboGirl Gauntlet to get to Jesus is a whole ’nother matter but ahhhh, for the Good Ol' Days when you got a live voice from the get-go), he informs me there will be a 2 hour wait minimum so I cancel to try again next day. 6July2022 1730 ET: Call in, again. Get a reasonable rep…or so I thought. She takes my details and informs me she is unable to give me a ETA for the tow truck. Driver will text me when he is on the way. 6July2022 1930: After 2 hours, no text, so I call back for status and I get Drunk Boy. He slurs, uh, tells me to wait while he checks on my status. Puts me on hold. After 5 minutes, he hangs up. 6July2022 1940: I call back. Finally get an Angel who apologizes for my troubles. Alas, even Angels must give Bad News. She tells me there is no record of me calling in. Yeah…. 6July2022 2000: Called Member Services to cancel my account. But, of course, one cannot really “cancel”, since there is a no refund policy after 3 days upon renewal. Only move is to remove auto renewal. 6July2022 2015: Fed my card to the shredder. 6July2022 2030: Subscribed to Good Sam.
Positive experience: Good price for road atlas.
Negative experience: I had a simple notary question which apparently was too major to answer over the phone. I need a quit-claim deed for a time share sale notarized. I would have to drive 15 miles each way wasting a hour and $6 in gas to have them tell me whether they can do it. It's nice to know I can get the same terrible service over the phone as I get when my car breaks down.
Negative experience: I got the membership 2 days ago. Then paid an extra $55 to get my car towed yesterday. First I waited 2 hours and the guy they sent wasn't a tow truck, then I waited 2 more hours and still no tow. When I called to see what was going on I was told that the truck hadn't been dispatched yet and that none of the 3rd party places had people available. AAA is the biggest waste of time and money. Just call a local tow company. They will most likely be there within an hour

Fantastic experience: Great service fast response. I was bringing my wife home from surgery and hit debris on highway 45 miles from home causing damage and flat tire. A tow truck was at the scene within half hour.

Negative experience: Bought a battery 13 months ago,told it was guaranteed. Battery yesterday, their telling me it fine and will NOT replace iJumped it to get to Auto Repair place.They said batteries DEAD,replaced it with new one.Car starts right up.AAA STILL WON'T REACE THEIR DEAD BATTERY. Each card purchased, a percentage of the amount reduces your AAA renewal. If you're going to shop, why not purchase a card and save money for you!

Negative experience: AAA dispatch system is complete garbage. I've used them twice this year and both times waited HOURS for a tow. First time 8 hours and second time 4 hours. I've been a AAA member for 10+ years and never have I gotten such horrible service. AAA has gone downhill BIG TIME! And I'm thinking of cancelling my membership. The system they use to help people is ridiculous and something needs to change!

Fantastic experience: On this particular day, about I did not have my purse with me. It was just supposed to be a quick run to pick up a stove. No big deal. We'll it turned into a big deal when after I picked up a stove. I was stuck along the side of the road in Rockledge headed toward I 95. I looked up the phone number for AAA Melbourne. The lady there told me I had reached the office and gave me the appropriate number to call for the tow. I called and explained my situation. I explained that I didn't have my card, it was in my purse which I did not bring this trip. She asked me to verify some info, I did, and it was all good! She asked me if she could call me an Uber or Lyft? I asked if I could ride with the driver? She told me because of Covid it was really up to the driver. She also told me since I was so far from home, walking wise, she would put in that request but then it's up to the driver. She said she would have someone there by 2:00. It was just before 1 now. No sooner did I get off of the phone with her, I received a text saying they received my request. Then less than a minute later, another text came saying a driver had been assigned. Less than 5 minutes later I got a call from the driver that he was on his way, ETA about 25 mins. and he asked for landmarks where I was. I asked if I could ride along. He said he didn't normally allow that, his truck was high, but if i could climb in he would give me a ride. I was determined to climb in. Lol! Upon his arrival, I saw the cab was as big as an 18 wheeler. Wow! People driving by were so rude to him, not moving over, giving him a place to work. It was unbelievable and he was not flustered by it! Anyway he got my vehicle up on the flatbed, I climbed into the cab of his truck, and we talked the whole way home about his job which he loves, and his kids, especially his "mini me" son! I'm glad I have my AAA, and I am glad my connection was through the Melbourne office. Thank you to all that helped that day! I was greatly appreciative. in my book.

Checked in again only to find out we were not placed on the wait list. Really. 10-12 employees working, not sure what they were doing but they weren't helping anyone anyone present.
