Fantastic experience: David Robbins helped me sign up for car insurance today. Never in my life have I had an easier and perfect experience. He is polite, direct, concise, accurate, timely, and professional. He made himself fully available, quickly answered every question that I had and left with me all the information I need without making me feel overwhelmed or confused. He is amazing and should honestly be in charge of training all insurance agents with Triple A and setting an example. He set the bar ultra high. Thank you for your help David!

Negative experience: Gave this location another chance and failed again. When you look in the shop they don't have enough people working. Promised wait times are not followed. Shame, always depended on AAA and keeps disappointing. Went somewhere else.

I was sooo lucky to accidentally come across Catriona McCormack via AAA phone call. Catriona has gone over and beyond w/ helping my husband and I plan our trip to London/Paris. She is the best travel agent I’ve ever worked with- very kind/friendly, informative, more than helpful, always available to answer any questions (via phone/email). Fantastic experience: Booked a trip to Ireland with under a month's notice with Catriona's help! She was so informative, thorough, and timely. She did everything from booking our flights, hotels, rental car, and helped to plan our itinerary for the week! The process was seamless and was honestly not stressful at all. This statement would not be true if it were not for Catriona's help. I will definitely be booking future trips with Catriona!!!

Fantastic experience: Hey there everyone, AAA has helped me with tire repair, battery replacement and just knowing that they're only a phone call away gives you peace of mind. So come on and call or go to the Care Center and get informed.

Negative experience: I urge you to STAY AWAY from this repair center. My entire experience was horrible. I went there, because like most AAA Members we believe we will receive a discount and affordable repairs. Not the case, AAA has forgotten what they wanted to create, (In 1975, AAA created its Approved Auto Repair (AAR) program to address one of the most frequent consumer complaints – dissatisfaction with finding a reputable and affordable automobile repair shop.) I had 3 minor repairs done to my truck, a flat tire, bad battery terminals, and ignition lock cylinder replaced because I was have difficulty turning the key. 1 tire cost $194.31, 2 battery terminal cables $18, ignition cylinder $ 142.99 . That's roughly $356 in parts. (Including that very expensive tire) . Bill totaled $696.05!!!! $340 in LABOR! And AAA provides discounted labor, at least that's what they say! The service staff are totally rude and dishonest. I requested to speak to the manager,( Daniel Harman) I expressed my dissatisfaction with my experience and the ridiculous labor prices. I tried going through the bill with him. And his answer was I'm not good at math? I asked then how are you the manager if you're not good at math! He replied "We price our labor the same as every other franchise like meineke, or Midas etc... I dont make the prices." You received a $25 discount on the labor. As I stated earlier labor was $340. So that's roughly a whopping 7 percent savings! Now let's get into the free tire rotation. Clearly says on the bill that I receive a free Rotation. Well the flat tire was the rear passenger side. And certainly the tire wasn't rotated to the front. So that wasn't done either! I also like to speak about the technicians. From the waiting area there's a clear glass that you can see inside the garage area where vehicles are being worked on. I seen about ten 18 to 25 year old techs. At that time I started wondering how much experience do they have? And are they even certified? Some where dancing and singing, two others were Shadow boxing. I observed maybe two working on a vehicle, But every Lift had a vehicle on it.(Manager Daniel it looks like your running a romper room.) I know this review has been pretty lengthy. But I wanted to share my horrible experience. And hopefully save some of you the hassle of bringing your vehicle to this AAA repair center. UPDATE!!!!! ITS BEEN 10 DAYS SINCE I HAD THE WORK DONE. THE BRAND NEW TIRE IS COMPLETELY DEFLATED! AND THE BATTERY IS DEAD AFTER TERMINALS WERE REPLACED. ANOTHER $207 FOR A AAA battery. And the tech that replaced my battery says the tire most likely wasn't installed properly!

Fantastic experience: Great place to have your car worked on if you are an AAA member as there is a discount applied to your bill. Also helpful for any customer service issues you might need addressed with your AAA account.

Fantastic experience: After a few disappointing experiences at my dealership with my car I called AAA in Hamilton for an estimate. I am so glad that I did. Khalil and the team were cheerful, pleasant, trustworthy knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I got new tires and brakes and the work was completed on time and for less than the original estimate. Khalil is certainly an asset to that team! A very pleasant experience! I will be returning for all my regular services from now on!

Negative experience: Tried to get quote on 4 tires and everyone kept saying someone will be with you in a minute. We left after like 10 minutes

Negative experience: I highly recommend staying away from this location. I went for an oil change and tire rotation and was lied to about my car service. 1. The tires were not rotated when they specifically told me they had been. When I questioned this, I was told they weren't really rotated since they appeared new. Yet mileage indicates it's time to rotate them - plus why blatantly lie? Be sure to mark your tires as I had done so you can tell if they're actually rotated by any shop. 2. I was told the car battery is old and needs replacing, when the battery is new as of 6 weeks ago. They wanted me to buy a new one from them. I then went to three other auto places who confirmed the battery is completely fine. AAA likely overcharged the battery before testing it to make it appear like it was bad.

Negative experience: Shop is great ,but I had a really couple of tardy experiences with work on my car

Negative experience: The people here are really nice but they could not figure out what the issue was on my car. The bearings were wore out. They kept saying it was the tread on my tire. I called them a day later to let them know that the car was still making the same noise and they told me I could bring it in but they were insistent on that there was nothing else they could do. I took to Superior on 130 and they figured it out and fixed it. I will go here for oil changes but anything more complex than that; I will think twice about using them.

Fantastic experience: Great customer service! Isaiah went above and beyond to help me with my vehicle service. Part wasn’t available at location called to different locations, had within a hour. Everything fixed by end of day. Made process very easy. It’s hard to find pleasant, caring, and informative advisors. Thank you!

Positive experience: Very helpful agent but when we picked up the car, it was not the type we requested. All worked out in the end. We were told a Volvo XC90 or like, but at the airport in Dublin we were told we ordered a sedan. Five passengers and luggage we needed an suv. With a large up charge we got what need.

Negative experience: They never came out. Horrible. They told me 3 times they were on their way, 1st they were 15 minutes away, they were on another run, and then they were 12 minutes away. They then had a locksmith call me about a lockout, which I never said I was locked out. I missed 2 whole days of work and had to pay a tow to come the next day.

Fantastic experience: My son’s car broke down late last night. He called AAA and they towed his car to the AAA location in Hamilton for a diagnostic check and repair. This place was phenomenal! After briefly speaking to them when they opened, I was notified less than two hours as to what the problem was and the car was fixed by the end of the day (even though quite a bit had to be done). Everyone that I spoke to throughout the course of the day was pleasant and professional. Special shout out to Isaiah and Eileen for taking great care of us! The price was reasonable too. We will definitely be going back (hopefully not by a tow truck :-D) Best, Melissa Bollendorf

Fantastic experience: Excellent work at a great price. Eric helped us understand the work and cost. Replaced all break pads and front rotors. They said back rotors were fine and did not recommend replacement. Think about that…they could have said we needed rear rotors at extra cost…but they didn’t. Our 5th time back. They have great technicians. Forget the local Hamilton BS car repair salesman trying to get you to pay more than you need to. Come here.

Negative experience: I'm here at the AAA Hamilton NJ site waiting for my car to be diagnosed might add since 10am and nobody had the common courtesy to inform me what the issue was with my car after another customer received that common courtesy I had to call while waiting in the actual building to get answers

Fantastic experience: Ordered tires for the winter and had them installed here. Competitive price and tires were balanced and aligned really well. Only took 45 minutes

Fantastic experience: Thank you for fixing the front tire and replacing the back tire. Also they filled up the remaining tires. And it took less than an hour. The car now drives like its on air!

Negative experience: Dads car was there for over a week, and he called to see the status of his car, and they told him that it hadn’t had anything done to it because the mechanic was sick with Covid. Why would you not let a customer know this sooner so they can take the car somewhere else? And to make things worse, my friends car is there now, and he called to confirm his car is done, and they said it hadn’t been worked on because the technician is sick! Never go there. Bad customer service.

Negative experience: I had an appointment to get my brakes done and oil change. It took 8 days for them to get to it

Fantastic experience: I went in for a weak battery, they replaced it under my Battery Premier membership. Then for some bizarre and unknown reason, a AAA Service truck from a local garage was dispatched to that location to replace my battery, but of course, I was gone by then.

Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable and courteous. I went in with a list of repairs I thought I needed, and I was told almost none of these were real issues, and did not need to be repaired at that time. I appreciate the honesty, and will keep coming back regularly.

Negative experience: Terrible service experience. After 24 hours of sitting at this location for a simple tire plug they are clueless, service manager is lazy and full of excuses . Plus had attitude.

Negative experience: I broke down on 295 call AAA and my car was towed to the nearest AAA shop. Unfortunately, this was the closest AAA spot to where I broke down from. Due to my alternator failing. That was on June 22, 2022 now fast forward to September my alternator went again mind you they charge $646.97 for labor alone and $303.99 for the alternator part!!!! Just so my alternator to fail within a three months!!! Now I’m out of a car and it’s all thank to them!!!!! I DON’T recommend bringing your car here if you don’t wanna be out of the car!!!! Plus when my car stalled out I was at a light at a busy intersection so definitely a safety issue. They don’t care if you live or die at this point.

Positive experience: Haven't been to this place but have been to other AAA places. Used their auto service for oil changes and was very impressed. Always polite, friendly. Good pricing, especially for members. So I imagine this place is just as nice. Only went to website of this AAA looking for a place near a relative.

Negative experience: Guess you didn’t like my last review …. So here it is again. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Absolutely shameful the way they try to take advantage of people and take their money. Untrustworthy and will claim things are wrong with your vehicle when they are in fact fine. I saved over $600 after getting a second opinion at a respectable mechanic. Do better AAA.

Fantastic experience: My son's car had been sitting for a few months while he was away. When jumping the car myself did not get it started I contacted AAA and they were at my house in 15 minutes. The technician that came was named Jackson and he was one of the nicest person I have ever met. He tested the battery and it did need to be replaced. He was able to do it on the spot as his truck was stocked with the right one. He made what would have been a stressful and time consuming situation a quick and painless one. 5 stars to Jackson!

Fantastic experience: Thank you Eric. After dealing with a very difficult, inexperienced roadside assistance AAA contracted Towing company, who tried to charge us extra for a "difficult task", AAA Hamilton, NJ dispatched another Towing company, who towed us to Rt 33 and to a tech who knew how to change a battery! Eric and his staff made an unpleasant situation right.

Positive experience: The 4 stars are only for the mechanic who did an excellent job taking care of my car.

Fantastic experience: Was out shopping across the street with my wife and daughter. When we came out we surprisingly found out that our battery died. Luckily AAA was across the street. I called and spoke with Erik Dickerson. He helped me jump start my car so we could drive over to their shop and get the battery replaced. I also was happy to find out that my premier AAA membership covered the cost of my new battery. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. Thank you to Mark M who installed the battery.

Positive experience: The only problem is the lack of available parking at the site. The attached auto repair shop frequently uses all available parking spaces on the lot making it quite difficult to access the building.

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency on 295 on the highway with a flat tire. Was late for a wedding, and I showed up and immediately the professional assistants took my situation and managed to get it all done in a fast manner. They catered to more than one issue all very quickly, let me know every step, and got me out of there in time. Thank you to the crew for taking care of me and doing a great job.

Told her I was taking a trip across the country and she spend the next 2 hours helping me plan my route with all the destinations I wanted, hotels along the way, timings, and gave me extra resources for the trip. Fantastic experience: Had my car worked on here recently. Love the member discount and battery testing. Car is from 97 but these guys keep it going like new. There's a photo station (for drivers licenses), insurance, and travel agents available so you can knock out a few things in one visit. If nothing else, members get free travel brochures. Great for vacation planning and seeing where you can get even more AAA discounts
