Negative experience: SCAM! Be weary this whole thing is a scam. Make you think you got a good deal only for them to call you and tell you you cannot take anything but your phone and boarding pass unless you upgrade $600 more to take a personal item and carry on!!!!! And you cannot cancel. So don't do it you end up spending way more.

Negative experience: Scam Alert – Avoid Travoport! Travoport is an absolute scam! They trick you with promises of discounts and e-credits, but in reality, they are just trying to overcharge you for their own gain. I booked a trip with them, and after making the payment, they suddenly tried to add extra charges with no valid explanation. When I questioned it, they claimed it was part of a “special offer” and that I would receive discounts later—which, of course, never happened. I was lucky my bank didn’t allow the extra charges to my credit card. They were trying to force me to approve the extra charge or they won’t provide me with the ticket confirmation number. They were telling to me the extra charge is taxes and airport fee, but when I directly called the air line agency, they told me there is no such thing everything is included with the price of the ticket. Their customer service is a joke. They either ignore you or keep giving empty promises to stall for time. It’s clear that they are only interested in taking your money and running. Stay far away from Travoport unless you want to be scammed! I regret ever trusting them. Save yourself the frustration and book with a legitimate agency instead.
Negative experience: SCAMMERS. Once you book a ticket, they'll start calling you to pay more or just cancel the flight and you will receive no refund at all. It’s blackmailing. Don’t ever book tickets with them.

Spoke with 3 agents and they said that I should have read the fine print - the fine print DID NOT come up until after I had booked the ticket. Not even deserving of a half of a star!!!!!

My wife got tickets (supposedly), never got any information afterwards, no ticket, not flight, and tried to charge twice as much as the ticket was advertised for.....when calling the man was yelling at us to take a screenshot of the website and then hung up. Negative experience: This company doesn’t even deserve one star. I was under the impression that I was purchasing real tickets for a real flight for a real airline. This was totally not the case. Besides being on hold for over half an hour during multiple phone calls, I had the pleasure of speaking to a nasty condescending associate by the name of Jay Nicholas. After he explained everything to me regarding said fake tickets and how I’m not guaranteed a seat with my three children and that I don’t qualify for any luggage and cannot even pay for extra luggage and I kept coming back with questions for him, he told me that I need to calm down and take a breath and drink a glass of water and he is going to put me on a brief hold and find out how he can make this right. When he came back, he told me that the tickets would now be X amount, almost $2000 more than what I would pay from the airline directly, so I finally told him that I would rather just book it directly through the airline and he proceeded to threaten me by saying that my card was charge and he would red flag my family and I and we wouldn’t be able to travel and that if we do a double booking through the airline itself, that they will cancel each other out once we get to the airport and we won’t be able to fly. These people use scare tactics to make you think that they charge your card, when in fact, they never charged me, so I made sure I locked my card and reported it to my credit card company to not allow these scammers to charge me. I have traveled every single year internationally for the past 35 years. These scare tactics to try and make you purchase their fake tickets with no guarantee that you will actually be on that damn flight is horrible and the fact that they have people outsourced speaking to you with an accent from God knows where, not knowing what the hell they’re talking about is atrocious. Please avoid this website at all costs

Negative experience: Terrible agency. Total scam. Stay away from this people, I don't recommend them nor use them again. They presented on website as the cheapest fare but that is not your ticket. After you choose your flight and paid the fair, they called you stating that you can't take carry on or any luggage on this flight. When we realized and trying to cancel the flight, they told you no refund, you agree with term. They told us the term is printed in small printing and you should read about it before buying. All these claim is to make you pay more hundreds of dollar by confusing customer and if you cancel you can't get refund. We end up losing direct flight, and took one stop flight, missed flight, wait 6 hours in Airport for next flight, paying more $127,00 for the scammers plus $40.00 for carry on which can't take with you into the cabin. The luggage left behind and received after three days. All these happened due to this guys changing the flight from non stop to one stop flight to make more money. This guys should not be in business with such scamming tactics.

Negative experience: On 2/2/24, I was lured into buying some inexpensive flight tickets from TRAVOPORT due to the advertised fees. I called the Agency and was given some basic information about the fees, which with any other airline that I've dealt with in the recent past, was clear and concise and appeared to be without hidden agendas by the way it was explained to me by the travel agent. I bought 4 tickets and paid for them, I then received an email stating that I did not include the luggage for any the 4 travelers. At this point I realized this was not a good sign. I immediately tried to cancel but they were stern about no refunds and the only choice I had was to pay them significantly more. I payed the person the fees and waited for my tickets to be emailed to me but was told by Blair Martin (probably fake name since he had a heavy Indian accent) that I had to write a positive review of him and then he would release my tickets to me. I wrote a review with one or two sentences saying they were a good travel agency under duress but now I'm updating and writing the truth. This experience with TRAVOPORT was the worst ever with a travel agency, these people utilize scam tactics to lure you in to buy a cheaply priced ticket without telling you basic information that they will eventually use against you as an missed error on your part charging you significantly more than the original accorded fees for the flights. FYI these people are probably not even based in the US, they are of Indian accent and they could care less if you threaten them with reporting them to the BBB or the Federal Trade Commission. The Travel agents that will DECEIVE you are Blair, Nadalie, and Davina.

They take your money as if for a regular ticket and then call saying you have to pay hundreds extra to carry a carryon or any luggage and then say your tickets aren’t even confirmed and are standby tickets. They don’t allow you to cancel or change your tickets unless you pay their ridiculous fees
Negative experience: If I could give negative 1000 stars I would. Had a similar experience as other customers. Was lied to multiple times, about the ticket type and baggage restrictions that were untrue. Over an hour arguing with them… total fraudulent.

Negative experience: I am reporting Travoport to the State Consumer Protection office / Better Business Bureau for the following reasons. I feel that Travoport is a scam and have dishonest agents. I booked flights on December 13, 2024 from Newark to San Diego and never received a call, text, or email from Travoport letting me know if my flight and ticket was confirmed. I emailed Travoport on December 16, 2024 inquiring about my flight/ticket and got no response. I then called Travoport on December 17th inquiring about me, my granddaughter, and son's flight. After Travoport agents placed my call on hold several times, they then decided to hang up on me. When I called back, the agent Henry stated Travoport canceled my son's ticket, and then stated that my ticket was voluntarily canceled, and he changed his wording and said I'm on standby, and then changed his wording again saying that me and my son's ticket was voluntarily canceled, because Travoport tried calling and emailing me and my son, which is a lie, because I have no missed calls, no voicemails, or emails from Travoport; so therefore I challenged Henry and asked him to produced to me evidence of actually phone records from the telephone company showing that Travoport tried calling us. I also asked for emails to show proof that Travoport emailed me. He refused to provide them to me, and stated it will be provide to my credit card company if I try to dispute the charges. Of course I will dispute the charges if or when the charges appear on my credit card. I will also do Travoport one better, by filing a complaint with the State Consumer Protection office / Better Business Bureau, and a police report for what I believe to be theft and fraud if my credit card is charged for anything dealing with Travoport after I clearly instructed Travoport to Not charge my credit cards. This company needs to be stopped. They picked on the right person to help bring their business to an end legally!

Negative experience: SCAM SCAM SCAM — Paid for a ticket online, then they said that was a promo price with NO BAGS OR CARRY-ONS...then made some kind of deal about calling the airline. The agent had such a thick Indian accent, I couldn't understand him at all, and when I asked for clarification, he kept trying to blaze through everything — especially the part where he said, "this ticket is non-refundable." Don't use them!
Negative experience: I tried to cancel my flight because I could get my money back in 24hours the man tells me I can't cancel the flight and it's not refundable. I'm extremely upset that my 300 dollars got took. I wouldn't booked the tickets. The making you be flexible when it's not possible and I'm not allowed to carry a bag on the plane is bull.

Negative experience: The greatest scam on earth! I booked a ticket, but they didn’t provide me with airline (Air Canada Flight AC 4975) confirmation or the actual ticket. Instead, they insisted I have to purchase a “confirmed” ticket at a higher price than my original booking. Now, I have to wait until one day before my travel date to find out if there’s any seat available. If not, I’ll have to buy a new ticket at a higher price to travel on my planned date. Essentially, they’re pressuring me into paying more because my initial booking was cheaper, leaving me with no guarantee of travel. Do not buy any airline ticket from Travoport?

They charge your card and steal your money, then they ask you to wait 24 hours to receive the "reservation" but it's a lie, this period is for the credit card to process and for them to receive the money. And then they charge you another 2000 dollars (I paid for Tickets by website around 879 dollars) to buy the ticket. They invent a thousand and one excuses for you to wait these 24 hours and more fees and charges. Everything on the website is FALSE. THESE PRICES THAT APPEAR ON THE WEBSITE DO NOT EXIST!!!! And there is no office. I went to Miami and it is a VIRTUAL office! CANCEL YOUR CARD BEFORE THE PURCHASE IS PROCESSED!

Negative experience: This travel agency is a scam and bait-and-switch tactic. On the website they promised an excellent rate in order to charge my bank account. Then their agents called to inform me the rate was for standby tickets only. Because of my emergency situation, I had no choice but accepted their options for international travel with three different airlines and my seats weren’t available until the travel date. I told their agents when I got back to the States I would gave them 0.5 star rating if I could. I am a fair person that gives 5/5 star ratings and great recommendations to all service employees because I worked in service sectors for a long time and cherished excellent service. Travoport isn’t one. Wished I could read the reviews before booking but it is now too late.
Negative experience: ***WARNING*** *BEWARE* There is a reason this place has 1 star. I purchased my tickets. The next day a man called me saying, “YOUR TICKETS ARE RESTRICTED. PLEASE CALL IMMEDIATELY. I called. The tickets I bought didn’t have luggage or carry ons allowed? Which was originally part of my ticket. I called my airline and cancelled immediately. The person I spoke to was trying to upsell my tickets and make me spend more Money. My airline mentioned multiple red flags with this company, no bags or luggage/carry ons being one of them. Once I disputed charges with my bank, they charged my card individually for all my tickets. Making it 10x harder for my bank to dispute the charges one at a time. Avoid this place like the plague. As ALWAYS, BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE AIRLINE YOURSELF. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Negative experience: SCAMMERS! Had to book some flight tickets quickly and wanted to save some cash, so I quickly booked through these guys thinking I was saving a fortune. I got a call from somebody who barely spoke English telling me I need to pay significantly more than the actual cost of the ticket. Immediately knew that I was being scammed. Asked for a refund and they said they can't cause of some made up company policy and that the bank won't help me (more lies). Called the bank and blocked their transaction. Don't ever deal with these people they're fraudsters and scammers.
Negative experience: I recently had a deeply disappointed experience with Travoport. After booking my flights, I was informed the day before my departure that there were no longer any seats available on my flight. The customer service representative offered me two options: reschedule my flight for two days later and pay an additional $600, or accept that my flights were non-refundable. This kind of service is unacceptable. Trying to save money with Travoport ended up costing me more, leaving me both frustrated and angry with the company for their poor business conduct. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere, companies like this should not be allowed to conduct business.

Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK THRU THIS SITE IT IS A SCAM. This website is a scam. I just experienced it first hand. They will book your flights and then call you that your flight has all restrictions - cannot add luggage even if you pay, you cannot obtain boarding passes, cannot check in online etc. But all of this information is being hidden while you book thru the website and it’s not even shared with you in an email. Then the next day someone will call you and tell you that you will need to pay their change fee & airline change fee to remove restrictions. They will not give you the airline booking PNR reference - I was told that you will receive that 24 hours prior to your departure. Representative are very rude and will not allow you to talk and when you start talking they will talk over you and are unwilling to help.

Say you have a light Academy ticket which is nothing included not even one personal atom and they was telling me carry-on bag, I request everyone did not get any ticket from this website

Then when I called they said I had to wait 3 hours for it!! Ridiculous! Then when I called back they listed all these restrictions for the flight which were NOT listed in the booking process-- such as NO BAGS allowed!! Who travels with No bag!!?? Scammers!! BBB rating is an F!! Wish I saw that before booking the ticket. They won't cancel the reservation even though I have no confirmation number from the airlines. I will have to dispute the charge on my credit card if they charge it. So far they have not. Probably because there is NO Confirmed TICKET to charge for. Don't believe rating on Trustpilot... its obvious that they are posting those. I don't trust "Trustpilot" anymore!!
Negative experience: Scams!!! Please don’t buy ticket from them, you will have headache after. I bought a one way international ticket. Next day they called me and they said luggages are not allowed and you have to pay more money and also they change the transit hour from 7 to 14 hours and if I want to change it they will charge me more. I asked them to cancel my flight but they said it’s not refundable. I got so mad and hang up on them. Luckily they were in process on charging my credit card and I called my bank right away, the bank said they can’t stop the transaction and only if I change my credit card number it will be possible. I got lucky they couldn’t withdraw money but you may not, so be cautious and don’t buy ticket from them. They’re the biggest scam!!!

Negative experience: This place is totally a SCAM. I tried to book a flight ticket and was brought to them, I finished booking. Then they called me and told me that I could not bring another items with me and had to go to the airport a few hours earlier. I told him ( Joseph xxxx) I needed to have one suitcase with me, he said I had to add another $100 for my ticket. After I had discuss with the supervisor ( i was not quit sure if this is the same person because when I was talking to the "supervisor ", he sounded pretty like Joseph xxxx ), he decided to change my arriving to another airport and I still had to pay $40 more. Not only that after a few hours, my credit card company sent me alert that someone was using my credit card to pay " Google Battleground" which I had never heard about. Thank for my credit card company, they denied 3 times for the same purchase after my credit card was stopped by the company. I want everyone be careful about this place, do not give them your credit card number, please!!! Of course I will never book any ticket through them! Before that I had never shared my credit card with any one and any company.

Negative experience: I looked for a ticket using Travelocity. It showed a cheep flight but when I chose it it took me to this site and without any explanation I was lead to purchase a ticket allowed no luggage. While it was showing being processed I received a phone call from them that if I want to add luggage the cost would double. I said no thank you then. I would like to cancel. They said it had been already charged that there is no way of refund! While my purchase showing still being processed. This is a very dishonest company trying to steel money from normal, honest consumer. I am disappointed by Travelocity and this company of irresponsible business practice.

I was so excited to get better prices, until I received a call promptly I upgraded but it was more costly than all websites, I had checked into. Thank God my bank declined my card. And please Jay Nichols stop calling me, bro we work so hard to be scammed. You wasted my time on the phone for nothing.

They tried charged me more than they originally said the price of the ticket will be, and when I contacted them, Erik and Johnathan proceeded to threaten me. Luckily I outsmarted them and had my bank make sure they wouldn't draw any money from it, they intercepted the transaction without me knowing, called, got screamed at by some illiterate woman ll because they thought they could pull one over on me about a personal item, over 1,300 they were gonna try to charge me WITHOUT a ticket??? I don't think so. Thankfully I just git back from my wonderful vacation at a good price without being scammed.

Negative experience: COMPLETE SCAM WITH A GOOD TRUST PILOT SCORE We had a death in the family and booked tickets this sham of a company. AFTER we made our purchase we received a message stating that the tickets are not purchased yet and the price may change once the tickets are purchased. A few ours later we received and email saying they needed our IDs, again. We sent the IDs within 4 minutes and never received a reply. A few hours later we call and no one answered the phone. I called from another phone, a number they did not have on file, I called their sales number and pretending like I wanted to buy a ticket and they picked up immediately. I gave them the reference number form our purchase and they said we had no tickets because they were unable to secure them. Then they offered us all the same flights and prices that we see Google flights. We said we want a refund, first they said there was no refund and we could only get a credit towards another flight. We got upset of course, then they said they would give us a refund, but they have to wait and get a refund from the airline first. I pointed out to them they just told us they were unable to purchase the tickets, why would they have to ask the airline for a refund? What a told sham they are, all this and we are trying to get a last minute flight due to a death in the family.

They are Absolutely HORRIBLE and they're business conduct is illegal! Not to mention, that I seriously got bullied and yelled at, everyday, to “upgrade” my flight for an additional cost, which of course, was for an outrageous amount of money per ticket! They claimed that the tickets they sold me / charged me for and I agreed to purchase, WERE NOW, all of a sudden, a “restricted ticket” and I was not even allowed to check a bag!! Not even with the airline directly for an additional cost!!! -almost laughable! Nowhere in the contract did it state this BEFORE I agreed to be charged! And yes, I read the booking rules and restrictions! When I refused to upgrade for more money, they threatened to cancel my flight altogether and also stated I would lose all my money ($1100) as the transaction was non-refundable !!!! It was the craziest, rudest, and most disrespectful interaction I've ever had with any company EVER!!!!

Negative experience: They scam... I also received a phone call right after no carry on no check in bag. I didn't mind I was only staying 1 day but they never send me the ticket I call the airlines they told me I'm not booked. I call the travel agent they told me it's because it's full flight because of that i can upgrade and get another flight BUT it will cost me another $450 not refund... Anyways just like most of you I did cancel my card we will see what's gonna happen. The crazy part is it's been 2 weeks since I purchase the ticket the money is not charge. I still don't know whats gonna happen when the day come.

Negative experience: Beyond outraged. We bought 2 tickets on one ways due to price. They then called me to try and sell me services and switch my tickets. After a long heated talk. They decide to alert flight days and cause a bigger issue. I called back to get them to help and they spent 1 hour on the phone with me posing to be on a united website to buy my own tickets. United sent an email to me saying there was duplicate tickets. They then proceeded to cancel all my tickets bought thru them and now we are at the airport trying to get home!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

I bought tickets from them, then they called back trying to convince me to totally change the ticket, only to pay more!! Only because they don't actually have the tickets they are selling!!! Don't touch them with a stick! You will lose time and stress out in endless useless talks. If you already did pay something, call your bank and dispute the payment because Travoport does NOT want to give you the money back!! All they want is to convince you that you have no choice but to pay more. Wrong.They wish! Your card and money is yours and the bank will listen to you, their client, not the thieves!! All their positive reviews look suspiciously similar, those are definitely made up by Travoport themselves!! ... Playing dirty all the way, it is a wonder how they are still in business...

They booked my tickets on the United site, pretending that they were me, using my CC and charging double, sending me a completely different itinerary than what the original booking was. Negative experience: Predatory Business, Absolute Scam and Deplorable Customer Service! TLDR: I thought I booked a ticket, they said I didn't and would have to pay $1000 extra for the ticket or lose my initial payment, no refund. I booked a ticket with them on what I thought was a huge discount. Turns out what I booked was a not a ticket but a standby ticket. I missed a call from them the next day (didn't leave a voicemail or email, it was a private number so I didn't call back) They called me the day after to say I didn't get the discounted ticket and would have to book another ticket. When asked why I wasn't informed earlier, they simply shrugged and said it was my fault for missing the previous call (remember, they didn't send an email or voicemail). When asked what my options were, they said I would have to pay $1000 extra for a ticket or lose what I paid initially no refund (apparently it was in some fine print). As they explained to me, my initial payment was for the privilege of purchasing a ticket at a discounted price, if I didn't get it, I was locked into purchasing a ticket for a much steeper price without any chance of a refund. So basically they put a good discount out to attract customers, decide they won't sell it to you at that discount, try to make you pay extra, and won't refund if you refuse to play their game. Sound like a PREDATORY business to you? I understand if I had actually purchased a ticket and then couldn't cancel, that would make sense - here I had no ticket and no refund. P.S. they have 4 stars on TrustPilot, don't really 'trust' that website anymore

Negative experience: If I could rate them lower, I would. Even one star doesn’t suit them justice. This company portrays to be a travel agency that aims to find you the best deals for travel however they that is far from the truth. You book a reservation thinking you got a good deal as it close to your travel date you don’t receive any input on your reservation. When you call to inquire information, you are told it was not filled and are then haggled in to another ticket that is more expensive. They will make it seem like you are getting a better deal then when they already charge your account, they send you the receipt to verify the amount and tell you it is the cost of the original ticket plus the new ticket to include a change in ticketing fee. When you inform them that it is not acceptable amount they begin to barter different discounts they can do to. If you manage to be patience to try to complete it or you get fed up with trying to explain it, they tell you will be charge the original booking reservation for a ticket you never received in attempt to con you into purchasing the ticket. After they charge they will tell you, your ticket will be emailed to you immediately the next morning as you find out there is no ticket. As you investigate the charge, it comes with a false number to contact and suppose airline you have purchase does not have it on record. They are terrible customer service and should be shutdown for dishonest practices. With needing to fly soon to make important events without any communication or progress from the company, I had to file a compliant and dispute with my credit card company. DO NOT use their services and save yourself the headache.

Negative experience: RUN, This is a scam. I paid for my daughter to come home $440. Then 30 minutes later I get a phone call, and was told I need to up grade my ticket, because she can't bring baggage on. Which was going to cast me an extra $400. I tell them she doesn't need baggage it's cheaper for me to buy her clothes. Then I get there are no seats available I would still have to upgrade which they could give to me at a discounted price, which would only cost me an extra $300. They won't give me my money back as there are no refunds allowed. I have cancelled that card, I'm not sure what will happen from here. But please do not use this website.
Negative experience: SCAM. Do not book with them! I ordered a ticket to go back home, they called me and told me that I needed to reschedule the ticket, I had to pay an extra $400. On top of that I get to the airport and they cancelled my ticket but sent me the details and tickets. I go to check in and my ticket was “suspended”. I call them and they acted oblivious. I later called the airline directly and they told me that Travoport had cancelled the ticket. I have continuously made an effort to contact them everyday through email and calling them, they do not respond and when I get through to there customer service I ask to speak to my agent, “Anthony Parker” who I know for a fact is not his name. Here they tell me that he is either unavailable or they put the call down immediately. Horrible experience if I could rate them 0 I would. I still have not heard from them and it’s been 2 weeks.
