Fantastic experience: This has always been my favorite AAA. Yesterday I was so impressed with their amazing, quick service. The receptionist/photographer Ms. Natalie and the agent Ms. Francine Shapiro were extremely pleasant, helpful, caring, considerate, and professional. They deserve kudos and a raise. They are the best!
Negative experience: Called for a lock out . The AAA rep was the single rudest person I’ve dealt with in the past 50 plus years . I’m also in “ customer service “ ( I’m a surgeon ). The rep we spoke with said my wife didn’t know what she was talking about because she was “ a woman “…YES - he actually said that !!! I’ve been a member of AAA since 1983; read multiple reviews - 90 % “ one star “, many saying they would give ZERO stars if possible . At the risk of being repetitive : a horrible experience with an unbelievably rude representative . STAY AWAY !!!

Positive experience: Friendly and efficient. Went there for an international driver license (basically a “translation” of your US license). In and out in no time and the passport pics are less expensive that Walgreens or CVS

Negative experience: I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING AAA TRAVEL SERVICES The agent, Lela Redick, who helped my girlfriend and I book a vacation in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic was not helpful but misled us. I do not recommend anyone uses this agent or the AAA travel service for the following reasons. We were searching for an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean or Central America with a travel time from airport to resort of 90 minutes or less. The first problem is AAA’s search software, the agent could not search on adult only resorts within this distance from an airport but had to investigate each on a long list separately to see if adult only and the distance. We eventually narrowed the search to all inclusive’s in the Dominican Republic. One out of five possible’s was adult only and available for the time we wanted, Riu Republica. Our agent, Lela, told us that we could eat at and use the amenities of 3 other Riu Resorts nearby. This was a great insensitive to us to choose the Republica so we booked. This was not true and had we known it we would not have booked this vacation. Another fact Lela should have discovered and was not mentioned to us was that the Riu Republica is a young party resort ! LOUD HOUSE MUSIC audible from any of the pools is playing 7 hours a day !

Negative experience: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH AAA! I recently had an issue with AAA where I called for roadside assistance for a flat repair, and let me tell you my story. I submitted a roadside assistance request with AAA, they sent one of their 3rd party vendors to facilitate the flat repair of my vehicle. The technician proceeded to jack my car with a floor jack and placed it in the wrong place and caused significant damage. He then repositioned the jack and jacked it up again from the correct position to change the tire. When I reported the issue to AAA they told me that I had to deal with this damage directly with the vendor. I did not hire this vendor and had no ability to contact them nor did I have any leverage to persuade the vendor to repair the damage. After many calls to AAA they did finally provide the vendor’s phone number. I contacted the vendor and they will not return my calls and have ignored over 20 calls to them. I have no leverage on this vendor and AAA will not support me in my pursuit to get the damage repaired. I have been a member of AAA for over 20 years but they still refused to help me to get this vendor to do the right thing and fix the damage they caused. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH AAA, they will not support you and will hang you out to dry when their shitty vendors cause damage to your vehicle. BEWARE of AAA they are crooks and are not worth your time or money.
Negative experience: I wish I could rate a zero star. I have been trying to get an issue resolved over 2 months now. Been trying to reach the branch manager for over a week and a half with no call backs. Only get told "Just leave a message and he will call you". This is my last resort trying to reach this specific location my next step will be to go higher and beyond this location. To deal with this and have to chase after and agent and branch manager is ridiculous!!

Negative experience: Cancel your membership now!!! My story, battery died, they replaced it after about a 4 hour wait. A couple of days later, it died again, waited over 8 hours for service, no show & finally had to call Ford roadside assistance. They came right away. Ford says the guy who replaced the battery ripped apart the fuse box looking for it, strange. Ford repaired it & $1200 later plus a new battery because the one AAA installed was faulty as well. Now apparently the service tech from AAA went to Ford service & tried to pay them $700 for the damage he caused. Ford denied it after calling us. Bottom line, AAA refuses the claim & says we are SOL. The claims adjuster is a snake named Jimmy Pagan who is rude & condescending & refused to take responsibility. This organization is not what it used to be
Fantastic experience: Went in to get my Intl. Driving Permit. Amazing service here, they even offer you complimentary drinks while you wait. And the wait wasn’t long at all, probably 15-20 mins. Francine Shapiro was the best! Love her energy and the service she provides to customers! Come here for all things membership, insurance, travel & banking!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I visited AAA Delray Beach, FL yesterday to get a quote on our car and condo insurance as we just recently bundled our home and car with AAA in New Jersey. We met with Mr. Jon Thelamont who reviewed our current policies and advised us that we had excellent coverage here in Florida. It was refreshing to have a professional like Jon to be very honest with us. Kudos to AAA Insurance for a top notch employee!
Negative experience: I can't begin to tell you how bad their service and customer service is. I've been sitting on the side of the highway for 3 hours, my car is dead and it's hot as hell. I called at 810 am and it's now 1140, I don't know if there is a tow truck heading to me at all. I spoke to 5 different people and they were just horrible, they did not care to help and it was more of a bother that I called, I'm absolutely canceling my service and having my family do the same, we need more reliable service.
Negative experience: 09/02/23 Subject: Formal Complaint against AAA Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to file a formal complaint and negative review against AAA regarding the handling of my recent request for a tow service. I am a valued customer of AAA and have been paying an annual fee to ensure that I receive prompt assistance in the event of a breakdown. However, the service I received on 09/02/23 was highly unsatisfactory and has caused me significant inconvenience and distress. On 09/02/23 at approximately 7:24 pm EST, I contacted AAA to request a tow for my 2015 Harley Davidson Motorcycle, which had broken down. Despite multiple agreed-upon times for the tow, AAA failed to meet any of these commitments. Concerned about the delay, I made several calls to live agents to inquire about the status of my request. Each time, I was informed that the towing times had been changed, without any valid explanation. To my dismay, AAA eventually notified me that they would not have a tow truck available until 8 am the following morning. In an attempt to resolve the situation, AAA offered to reimburse me if I found a tow company on my own. I managed to locate a suitable company that quoted a fee of $387.00. I immediately put this company on the phone with AAA, and it was at this point that AAA clarified that they meant to reimburse me for the cost, rather than pay the tow company directly. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to cover this expense upfront. I expressed my concerns to AAA, explaining that I felt unsafe being stranded at the breakdown location during late-night hours. I also highlighted the fact that AAA had deceived me by repeatedly pushing back the towing times, only to inform me when all potential motorcycle towing companies were closed. This situation puts my motorcycle at risk of theft or vandalism, particularly in an area that can be considered unsafe during late-night hours. Furthermore, as a result of AAA's mishandling of this situation, I am now forced to miss church services or meditation in the morning to accommodate the tow truck driver's arrival. I am left hoping that AAA does not provide false information or make further mistakes. If my motorcycle is damaged or stolen due to AAA's series of errors and negligence in securing a tow when available motorcycle towing partners were open, I firmly believe that AAA should be held liable for any resulting theft or vandalism. I notified the Broward County Sheriff’s non- emergency line to ensure my vehicle wasn’t impounded. The on duty patrolling officer mention when he called me tonight that he too was concerned that the vehicle is in an area of potential risk. The entire experience has caused me immense stress and frustration. I feel that I have been treated unfairly and that AAA's actions were in direct violation of the service agreement I have with them. I kindly request that the AAA corporate office, as well as a parallel Better Business Bureau inquiry will thoroughly review this case and others similar to mine, in order to protect the rights and interests of customers who may find themselves in similar situations. I have copies of relevant documentation, including my service agreement with AAA, as well as any written, text and snapshot correspondence and records of phone calls made during this incident. I trust that AAA and the Better Business Bureau will conduct a fair investigation into this matter and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Negative experience: After over 30 years of loyalty to AAA, I am very disappointed in the Delray Beach Branch. A few months ago I contacted a travel agent (Francine S.) to help me plan a special trip for my daughter. In discussing the details of the trip with her, I was informed that all the accommodations were confirmed with the hotels that l booked. However, when I arrived at the hotels, their representatives stated that not all the amenities l expected were confirmed. I felt disappointed and deceived. I discussed the situation with Francine and she quickly stated that nothing could be done and referred me to Mr. Bob Long who could assist me in this matter. (I believe Mr. Long is the office manager.) Although l left several messages and an email for Mr. Long… to this date, I was not contacted. I think AAA Delray Beach is only concerned about getting their membership fees and not customer satisfaction.
Fantastic experience: Surprisingly quick and easy! The lady at front door (I believe the cashier) was amazing! So nice and pleasant. Erik, the person helping me get my International Drivers Permit (IDP) made it simple. They take photos here ($12) and get you the IDP booklet ($20) right away. No need to wait! Simple and easy to get accomplished in less than 30 minutes. Maybe I got lucky…
Negative experience: Took 4 hrs to towmy car. Been a member for over 30 years. They told us oh well on the phone. Tow truck was from Miami and we live in Palm Beach. Going to cancel membership as they do not value longtime members.

She was very kind, attentive to all my questions and concerns, and answered all my questions. The whole process of taking photos and filling up the form was less then 15 minutes (Monday morning hours) And still we had a nice chat ! Thank you again Charle, star service indeed.
Fantastic experience: I was getting my international driver's license and my 2-yo was restless. He ran around the office while I was doing paperwork and getting photos taken, while half of the staff was running after him and playing with him. Great service, free childcare, will come back.

Negative experience: I walked in with the confidence AAA would assist me make our dream Route 66 adventure but I found one of your agents Mr Erik Sonnenburg somewhat felt it was too much for him to do. He kept asking questions as if he did no want to deal with our request. I walked out, and my husband stayed. Eventually he created the maps. Our plan was to request assistance in booking hotels from Delray Beach to Chicago , all the hotel reservations from Chicago to California and back to Florida. Perhaps you should look into the kind of agents you hire to service your clients. I’ll book our own hotel reservations, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Just close shop!

Fantastic experience: You got to love AAA since it's a traveler's dream. I know it may sound a little old-fashioned but I like to have Maps and I can usually find them at AAA. I know I know Maps may be old-fashioned but let me tell you you get stuck once in an area with no internet transmission and you will be happy to have a map. The service was friendly above and beyond what you would normally expect but I was not able to secure a map of the United States. It must be a popular map.
Negative experience: AAA has really let me down 2 different occasions they have cancelled a tow without contacting us while i wasted from 11am to 4pm waiting for the tow truck and then I called twice and the call hangs up. This is totally unacceptable

Fantastic experience: We have been with AAA insurance for several years now. First in Illinois, then South Carolina and now Florida. Terrific customer service, policy details and options always explained clearly and patiently. Other deals and discounts just for being a member is nice too! This isn't a cheapo coverage type company. What you get is good quality insurance for a good price from a rock solid company that treats you like a person, not a policy number.

Fantastic experience: Today we called for help with the battery on the car. Got their guy Brian. To our amazement, he was at the gate already when we called there to let him in. He arrived, diagnosed the system clarifying it was just the battery and not the alternator. Had the battery delivered as he waited and he installed it. Done within an hour. We commented on how fast he was and he was proud to share that he much thanked us for our acknowledgement and that's how he always works. Could not have been a better experience.

Negative experience: Had balljoint let go on front end on Congress Avenue Southbound while turning into Ocean Drive (Liesureville) Called AAA and car was finally picked up after 4 Hours, that's right 4 hours. I have beena member for years and this is the way you treat customers? Was in a very dangerous situation until Police arrived and they had to get an emergency tow as AAA never showed up. Never checked to see if we were okay, nothing. 3 of the dispatchers were kind, the other 1/2 dozen should never be in a position to help people because they just didn't care. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
