Fantastic experience: It was such a great experience that we decided to ride the jet ski 2 days in a row.

Fantastic experience: John and his staff were amazing. We did jet skiing and parasailing. Equipment was great and staff was nice and accommodating to our needs! I highly recommend checking them out!

Positive experience: Paid extra money for the deluxe any didn’t even receive our photos/videos. We were told our photos/videos would be sent to us via text but never was . Captured memories is important so this was a waste of money!!!

Negative experience: Booked a visit online and called ahead to see how far before the appointment to arrive. When the phone was answered I was informed that they were not open that day. Yet they sent me a ticket for that day and time and took my money… now I have a very upset child on his vacation and am quite upset

Fantastic experience: Rented kayaks from here. Friendly, helpful, agreeable, good-looking, young folks staffing the place + reasonable rental rates. Nice way to take a break from Cedar Point for a bit + outstanding view of the park from the water. Interested in trying parasailing one day, but the legal waiver they want you to sign has some aggressive language.

Fantastic experience: So my family went to Cedar Point for 5 days and while on the beach at the Breakers Hotel we kept seeing the parasails! We all said we were game as none of us had done it b4. It was the best time of our trip. The staff there is awesome! From the building staff to the boat crew, they were all great! The mate and Captain made sure to tell us exactly what to do and what to expect! My wife was really hoping that her and I could Fly Tandem so they discussed it bc our combined weight was over 300lbs. They got us hooked up, and the winds picked up way too much, so we had to go solo. But I give them kudos for trying. We had an issue with 1 person after their flight, and the captain and mate were terrific! They comforted them and called the skiff to pick them up b4 my wife or I went. We really appreciate all the care and concern. If u need a break from the park and want some fun, go to the end of the boardwalk and see them. U can rent jet skis, kayaks, or do the parasailing like we did. We'll definitely be back and will most certainly go to see them. We all thank the staff and hope u have a great off-season!

Negative experience: Terrible, the waves were choppy it was questionable I had my 5 year old son neither of us have ever been on a jetski before & it had already been paid for with my hotel stay, they should have never let me and my son go out there and now my son is traumatized the waves were so bad we weren't out there long before jetski flipped had I not had my son in front of me on jetski he would have went under, the guy said oh put him behind you I thought no better put my son in front of me so if jetski flips I can hurry and grab him thank God I did. Shame on them!

Fantastic experience: The staff were very friendly! Laid back but still ensured proper safety protocol was followed. I rode a Jet Ski. There’s plenty of room to sustain top speeds for a long time on a good day. They get up there! Also makes for a great photo of the Breakers resort with the Cedar Point backdrop (I forgot my phone but trust me, it’s picturesque). Will definitely return at least once every year!

Negative experience: First off dont go there if u are latino the guys there are very rude did not like the fact that we were speaking spanish on the boat they were screaming at us always with and attitude with us and the guy driving the boat almost ran over a guy swimming cause he wasnt paying attention where he was going then he started yelling at the guy swimming like it was his fault so if u wanna swim safely swim after 7 when the parasailing is close the girls are the only ones that were nice to us we told the girl in the booth she felt bad this is something that is expensive for us to be having a bad experience with the workers people from all over the world ho there for them to feel some type of way cause we not speaking there language mind u we all speak very good English so there was not a language Barrier or misunderstanding this was August 10, 2022

Negative experience: First I want to say I understand the weather is unpredictable and safety is everyone’s priority. That being said I strongly advise against using this company if you are hoping for a great vacation experience. We went to the main desk at 2 and were told the wind was a bit much but it may die down later in the day. The girl at the desk was friendly and helpful and had me complete the waivers on an iPad. They asked for my phone number and said they would call in an hour to update me. 1 hour later the captain called and said the winds hadn’t died down. I said we were intentionally staying right near the water so we would be available if the conditions became favorable. 1.5 hours later we see the boat out and the parasail up. No one had called us. We rushed to the desk and the same girl that had just helped us had no clue who we were. Regardless we paid almost $300 to get on the next boat. We were told to put on life vests and wait on the beach. Half hour later the boat comes in and they tell us the winds picked back up and we wouldn’t be able to sail. I get that. What I don’t get is why no one called. The people that got off the boat didn’t have reservations, they told us they just walked up and paid and went right out. We had amusement park tickets for the day but chose to stay in the beach area in hopes to parasail. Now we missed out on parasailing and amusement park rides and tomorrow we head back home. Very disappointing. Will absolutely never try to book with this company again and will let everyone looking for a company to use know how our experience was.

Every single employee was helpful and went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. The boat captain was fantastic and made the trip that much better. My highest recommendation.....if you are in the area...this is a must do!!

The crew was very helpful and made us all feel safe and comfortable. I went up with my one son and he was in absolute awe at how beautiful and peaceful it was to be up there. Negative experience: My family and I spent the day at cedar point beach. We experienced several fun on the water events that day, including parasailing, kayaking, jet skis and the 2 hr boat charter. We would recommend all except the boat charter. It was a waste. What we toured was mediocre and the guide was horrible. He had no life. Occasionally he would ask a random question to the group otherwise nothing. Since he was so dry we would suggest music if someone else makes the mistake and charters this boat. We suggested anchoring and swim. He wouldn't anchor the boat because "it wasn't necessary " so therefore the boat was moving all around when trying to climb back on, which was a task. There was no ladder and no assistance from, Doug, the driver. We literally had to propell ourselves up onto this moving boat. Just a horrible experience.

Negative experience: Poor communication and wasted my time. Reserved parasailing for 9-11 at 2, billing information listed my location (4 hours away) .. they give me less than 2 hours notice that they would be cancelling parasailing today due to the wind offered to reschedule for tomorrow or refund. Obviously I chose refund not going to waste my time driving up 4 hours tomorrow as I had just wasted two plus hours driving towards them.. was a delayed text response which relayed that they'll get that processing. They could have offered jet ski rentals or something at a reduced rate . I will travel to traverse michigan for parasailing next time. Also maybe consider adding wind into a factor on the webpage as I know rain is listed and I made sure that there would be no rain that day.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I went parasailing with them for our first time for his birthday and had a great time! We bought the tickets as a bundle when we booked our hotel room and had a hard time getting our tickets from the hotel after checking in. They were kind enough to still honor our booking and let us ride and turn in our tickets later. They were all very nice, funny, and professional. They even sent me my photos weeks later when I asked for them! They were amazing! Buy your ticket straight from them and remember to bring cash for a tip!

Positive experience: me and my young daughters went parasailing july 18 2021. we had a awesome time, all the people running it was great and nice..but fair warning....because the water is so choppy getting onto the bigger boat was so hard with waves bashing ..and getting back onto smaller boat that brings you out was almost a biff out... it would be helpful if there were a knob on bigger boat to hold onto to let you help get you onto and off boat..but overall it was so fun..my 9 and 12 year old had a fun time

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience on their jet-skis. The riding area isn’t the largest but it’s not bad at all, if you’re familiar with the area at all, you are able to go parallel with Dragster and parallel with the trees that are at the end of the Cedar Point beach area and you are allowed to go out to the lighthouse that is there (from the shore that is). The jet-skis are Yamaha VX Deluxe’s, I was able to just hit 49mph with some light chop. Would definitely recommend if you wanna get out on jet-skis in Lake Erie!

Negative experience: I made reservations today at 10am for 11am tomorrow I called at 10:15 to switch my reservation from 11-4 ( I double checked while on the phone that 4pm slot was still avail) The guy told me "no problem a manager will call back to confirm" .. i'm assuming they got busy and forgot so I called at 3pm and was told they would call when they have time they are busy. I explained to the guy I had been waiting since 10am. He said the longer you talk the longer it will take me to call up there. ( so its as simple as calling up there?) AGAIN NO CALL BACK I called back to cancel and was told no. I told him i'm frusterated because I've been calling sicne 10am and cant get a call back. He said he called my work phone and was told they cant help him, but I left my cell number to call back? he says he called but he didn't. I told him i'm not happy and would like a refund because.. he cut me off to say " I don't care... your screwing us" .. I said ok you are screwing me too because you cant do your job.?? so long story short i'm getting a refund HE SAYS ( i'm sure I will have to fight for that back) but how rude he was rude both times I have called. HORRIBLE phone customer service I was giving them $450.00 ?? now i'm screwing ypu?? MINDBLOWING! I work in customer service and would no longer have a job if I told someone I DONT CARE!>!?! OR that they were wasting my time and the longer they talk the longer my line is going to get and I wont be able to do what I was supposed to do 10AM!!!! OK I will NEVER NEVER NEVER go back. I will be calling Cedar point and making a complaint. I'm shocked you can run a business and talk to people like that. I get frustrated at work too and I 'kill em' with kindnesss'

Negative experience: This was a very hard experience. We paid a fortune for. 3.5 hrs charter. We were promised fishing, visiting the islands and swimming. The boat company sent a very sweet 80 year old gentleman who although was super nice he was too old to be doing this, he couldn’t see well, we was deaf and he was having trouble with his knees, he did not take us anywhere we were going around and got pretty dizzy because all he did with us was going around and around. The fishing did not happen. It was torture to see how everything was so difficult for him and he even had a hard time lifting the anchor. The boat didn’t have life savers, there was no running water to use the toilet or wash our hands. We got out of the boat 3 hrs later very disappointed and having spent $700 dollars for this we consider this an unfortunate fiasco. This company is very irresponsible. I’m also contacting the better business bureau. We didn’t feel safe and felt cheated. I hope this company does a better job for other customers in the future that spend this kind of money.

Negative experience: We were scheduled for 1:00 PM and had a Jet Ski rental appointment at 3:00 PM at another location. The boat didn't come and get us on board until almost 2 PM and we didn't get back to shore (because multiple parasailing people go with you) until roughly 2:52 PM. We missed our time to jet ski and lost the $70+ deposit we paid. On top of that, the quality of pictures (just a smart phone) they take is disappointing, especially considering the advertised price of $17. We paid $130 per person for the super deluxe. Though the actual act of parasailing was enjoyable, I DO NOT recommend it with this company. They are really disorganized and the whole process felt unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: On our recent trip to Ohio, we did parasailing and rented wave runners with North Coast and we had an incredible time! Staff was friendly and accommodating and made it easy by sending us an electronic waiver to fill out prior. Parasailing was a smooth ride with the most beautiful views of Lake Erie and Cedar Point. We got a 3 seater wave runner and had the opportunity to take our daughter out with us for her first time on the Lake. She said it was the best part of her trip. Doug and John went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience. We come to Ohio every summer and will definitely make this part of our trip now.

Fantastic experience: 7.14.2020 We, a family of four, did parasailing and had an AMAZING time!! It was a great experience from start to finish. We booked our "flight" through the Lighthouse Campground when making those reservations as part of our package. When we called North Coast Parasail to make our reservations they were easily able to accommodate the time/date we wanted and Kennedy is just AWESOME at her job...so friendly and super helpful and unbelievably organized! When we arrived we were given our ticket to ride, picked up a life jacket, and then headed to the beach to wait for our turn to be taken out to the boat. Our boys (15 & 17) absolutely loved the dingy ride out to the parasail boat "riding the waves"...it was a bit choppy, but not bad, they had fun! This was both of our sons first time parasailing and both screamed "best vacation ever" after they were lifted up!! Our youngest and myself were lucky enough to go up together. Depending on what chute they are using and your combined weights will determine if you can double up. Our oldest and my husband had to go by themselves and loved it! The views from up in the air are just spectacular of Cedar Point, Sandusky, and Lake Erie. The temperature of both the air and water the day we went were perfect. All of the North Coast staff we had any interaction with were awesome. All the boat (dingy & parasail) personnel were friendly and explained everything that was going to take place/happen. We all felt very well informed and thanks to this had an amazing time...great memories created that will not be forgotten!! Would highly recommend North Coast Parasail if you are wanting to do this kind of experience while at Cedar Point and its grounds! Thanks for an amazing end to our day you guys!!

Negative experience: $130.00 Per child for a t-shirt not in my daughters size and never received our pictures. Sent them an email about our pictures 4 days ago and still haven't gotten a response. Very disappointing

Fantastic experience: The guys at north coast parasail are truly the best in the business! I just went for my second time with them having had such an amazing time the first time! This time I went Tandem for the first time... I did t think it could’ve been better than the first time! The calmness and breeze and sun in your face while u are a human kite is an unreal experience... it’s great when u can share it with someone else. There is just the right amount of calmness with that feeling of adrenaline and heart rush as the captain switches direction with the boat and tilts the parasail from side to side floating up n down and even dunking our feet in the water at one point! The staff are all so fun, knowledgeable and attentive! They all really know how to make the experience the most fun it can be! A TOP NOTCH CREW! I would absolutely recommend taking a trip to Sandusky/cedar point and making a stop at north coast parasail to enjoy a parasail or jet ski ride!

Fantastic experience: Wow such a great experience. The girl working inside at the desk is amazing!! From start to finish she made sure we had a great time. We rented the wave runners and they were so much fun. Such a fun hour on the water and really made for a hot day really enjoyable. The guys working down on the beach were great. Would love to come back and try the kayaks or the paddle boarding. Also saw how they were sanitizing all the life jackets after each use. Great job guys, can't wait to come back again!!

Negative experience: This is a great place to jet ski if you don’t mind jet skiing in a pond or swimming pool. Make sure you only rent for a 1/2 hr otherwise you will be making several boring laps in the pond. Great for people who haven’t experienced a jet ski before but if you are used to riding one Id save your money. They might as well give you rides instead of you driving because they constantly stop you to tell you your 3’ outside of the boundary of the pool. I am a long time returning customer of Cedar Point and Hotel Breakers and would recommend both to anyone. Just save your money for the park instead of jet skiing.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband and I paid just under $200 to go parasailing together only at first to find out when we got on the the that we wouldn't be able to go together. I accepted that and my husband went up first after he was in the air for about three minutes, something went wrong with the boat and he ended up in the water about 50 feet away and they had to reel him in. They expressed the the para-sailing boat is broken and that I wouldn't be able to go up. All that waiting for nothing. I am supposed to get a refund. We'll see how that goes. BTW they only have one boat that does para-sailing, so if it breaks down you can't go. They will offer to re-schedule your time but in my case my husband and I were leaving that day.

Fantastic experience: The water was too choppy due to weather conditions on the day we initially decided to jet ski, but the guys here were cool and recommended we try the next day instead. They reached out to us the following morning, but we weren’t in the area and decided we’d go back on a later date this summer.
