Negative experience: Haven't been to the branch in years, but been trying to get a new car battery for four days now. Every time I call in the morning they say its available till 9 pm, I call when I get out of work at 430 and I'm told its not available. Service has tremendously dropped off with aaa that's for sure

Positive experience: Going to AAA in Franklin MA for 15+ years, and have always been helped very well even as their services and responsibilities have expanded, especially now they do many of the services that are usually done at MA RMV. It’s always best to call ahead, and schedule an appointment for certain actions. It’s far better than waiting at RMV. I’ve had good service at most AAA offices and Franklin has always been a comfortable place to do business.
Fantastic experience: Just went in today for the first time ever. Had an appointment to renew my license and chose to get the REAL ID. First person to help was a male trainee who was very helpful and polite. Walked us through everything and corrected a few things that were in error. We waited a short while and were then helped by Joy. She lives up to her name! What a lovely, kind and thoughtful person she is. Made the process so much easier and was very knowledgeable about everything. SO much better than the RMV. Thank you Joy for all your kindness and help and also the trainee. God bless you both!

Negative experience: I don't know what the heck happened to AAA. It seems as if they have just turned into another branch of the rmv. Most of workers they have there seem like they just came off working at the rmv. No personality and very rude and disrespectful. If I understand this correctly, we are paying for this service and this is how we are treated. This is not the AAA that I know of a few short years ago. Maybe this is the trend for most of the companies in the customer service field. Absolute disgrace! DO BETTER AAA!

Fantastic experience: I went here to renew my license. I made an appointment online and they took me right away! I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Everyone was kind and welcoming.
Fantastic experience: Always helpful and polite a overall great experience. Though I do wish Regal movie theaters still except AAA but not anymore.
Negative experience: I went in to talk about doing a trip. They had a line up to the door all for registration needs. For the regular AAA to renew by no or discuss a trip. I just turned around and went home. I tried to call and they were too busy to answer. They are no longer AAAA I guess just an extension of the registry.

Fantastic experience: I came in today for RMV services as I had booked an online appointment. Although today didn’t go as planned I would really like to thank Joy for all her help and support through the process she was courteous took me in earlier as there was no one else there, and I was out well within 15-20 minutes. I did speak to a gentlemen towards the back also very nice and kind to let them know what a great asset they have in Joy! Thank you so much again!

Negative experience: Horrid service, ashamed to even be a member, needed a replacement “24” sticker for my license plate on a active registration woman refused a image on my phone, plate is active in rmv database, went to Milford rmv and got a sticker no problem. Fantastic experience: We always go there to get documents notarized as well as apply for the drivers licence renewal. If you have a AAA membership then thr notarization is free as far a I know.

Negative experience: Roadside assistance awful! Waited TWO and ONE HALF HOURS for Roadside assistance on Sunday, June 4, 2023! Was first told at 6 pm it would be one hour. Called numerous times told them had a passenger in 90’s was raining and cold. Called at least 5 times, at one point someone told me it would be 20 minutes at 6:30 pm and on other line someone was telling me 40 minutes but AAA tow truck did not arrive until 90 minutes later at 8:30 pm! NOT ACCEPTABLE SERVICE! For what do we pay yearly? Exhausting!

Positive experience: People working there were nice enough and the place is clean. I am disappointed with the current state of AAA. I went in to get discount movie tickets because there's a $2 fee when purchasing the tickets online. I went to get them in the store to avoid the fee and the price was inflated in store to match the online fee, which is disappointing. It's quickly becoming not worth it to be a AAA member.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough of this AAA office. I was in and out within 20 minutes. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Tell ya what. Compared to going to the Registry back in the 60's, 70's, 80's is light night and day! You dreaded going! Not at this office! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Extremely friendly staff both greeters, insurance, rmv processing. They are professional and don’t speak to people rudely like a lot of places do lately. I heard their patience with several older customers which made me happy to hear. If you are deciding where to make your appointment I highly recommend this AAA location.
Negative experience: Their travel services have gone downhill book Disney through them last year and it was great. They printed all the confirmation numbers and travel insurance info. Book through them again and it has been hell. They never printed anything. They should stop offering travel service if the do not have the staff. Called AAA they will have someone get back to me in a few days. It will be too late since we are about to leave. Call disney they can’t make modifications since I booked through AAA. Never again Never.

Fantastic experience: I had to travel there because it was the only place I could get an appointment for RMV business. It was a great suburban experience. Short line, nice personnel and I was in and out in 17 minutes.

Negative experience: This AAA office in Franklin has to be the worst collection of incompetent employees known to man. I had to return TWICE today and each time it was "Oh, ya, that document won't do" Why didn't you tell me that the first time? I will NEVER go back to this office again!
Positive experience: Tried to get in for an appointment for my son's learner's permit. I called the AAA Franklin branch number in the am and was told I could pickup my son from school and go in and do standby (wait for an opening). When I got there they associate/manager(maybe?) told me I needed an appointment and didn't even consider taking us on standby because this was "such a busy branch", and apparently it didn't matter what I was told on the phone. There were only 4 customers in the office, 1 being helped and 3 waiting. There were more associates than customers there! Very unhappy about losing 1.5 to 2 hours of my time because one AAA associate on the phone said one thing and the person at the branch was not helpful and not courteous at all. Wish I'd taken a photo or video of how "busy" it was. Update: While I was very disappointed with my first visit to AAA Franklin, I do want to update this review now. I wrote to AAA to explain exactly what I explained above when I arrived home that evening. First thing in the morning, the District Director emailed me back and asked if we could talk on the phone. We talked within 1/2 an hour of the correspondence, I explained what happened in detail, and I was assured that my experience was unacceptable and would be handled internally. She made sure that my already scheduled visit, two days later, would go smoothly and it did, in and out in maybe 13 mins or less. We were provided with a free extension to our AAA membership for our troubles. In addition, I was offered assistance with another upcoming RMV appointment as well. While our son still had to miss practice to go in again, we still wasted our time which is precious, and it doesn't change the very poor experience I had at the branch originally, it is very important that AAA backed up their reputation and are absolutely determined to make this right for us overall.

Negative experience: Been standing here for 10 minutes listening to an agent shoot the breeze with a customer. Perhaps there is a reasonable explanation like waiting for something to process, but at minimum there should be a customer acknowledge and explanation you aren't just screwing off
Negative experience: Horrible a person can't take the time to help people out. People standing around ready to go home instead of taking the time to do there job. Customer service is really going down hill these days. Always we are customers of aaa and still didn't give us the time of day.

Negative experience: I heard great things about this location's RMV services and helpful staff. Maybe I just found them on a bad day but... if you need proof of residency and choose to use bank statements, Chase is not one they will approve because it doesn't say "Statement" on their statements. Additionally, they are not aware that car insurance policies do not have the word "Declarations" on their coverage summaries, that is Renter's or Home Owner's insurance. For that reason, they will not take those documents as valid either. Lastly, if you are the type to call ahead to confirm their capacity to do something, don't waste your time. You'll likely get someone from a different location and the individuals at this location will tell you the ones in the phone didn't know anything and what they said is invalid. They will consider doing it (read wait times worse than the RMV). In sort, just go to the RMV, it is horrible but they at least know what they are doing and what documents they are looking at. (Literally took the same proof documents to the RMV and had absolutely no trouble.) The management of this office chooses to foster an attitude where employees intentionally make RMV tasks more difficult than they need to be.

Positive experience: Friendly, but uninformed or inexperienced service regarding filling in forms for MA motor vehicle registration. Made two trips and still did not have all forms. Thanks to Worcester RMV staff, I was able to get ALL correct forms and fill them in correctly, saving me a third trip to AAA and a second to RMV.

Negative experience: Applied for a REAL ID here months ago and it was never received. Called the Franklin office and they all but told me it wasn't their problem, I had already paid the membership fee. They made no attempt to reconcile the problem and did not refund my membership fee, despite providing none of the services they claim to.

Fantastic experience: I came in to renew my license as a Real ID and was in and out in 10 minutes! During the process, the lady helping me was nice enough to let me email a bank statement to them to print out when it turned out that one of my documents (The RMV correspondence letter) couldn't be used as a proof of residence. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Negative experience: Applied for a Mass Real ID through their office in late May. As of today, I still have yet to receive it. Called the Franklin office, told me it wasn't their fault and to call the RMV. Called the RMV, told me it wasn't their fault, probably lost in the mail and to call the Franklin office. Nobody took any responsibility and I am still without identification, out $50 and even more angry at the bureaucracy then ever before.

Ended up on the phone with RMV for 2hrs. It's great that they do RMV things, but getting checked in can be a long wait here also
