Fantastic experience: My husband, Kevin, and I just returned from an incredible 10-night cruise in the Southern Caribbean, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the outstanding service we received from Brian and Chima Travel. This trip was a rescheduled vacation after a Mediterranean cruise in 2023 fell through due to missed flights. For that trip, I had used a different travel agent, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. As an unexperienced cruiser, my friend and I felt like the agent was only interested in selling us the cruise rather than genuinely helping us prepare. When our flights were canceled at midnight in July 2023 due to airline issues, we realized we had never even had a conversation or received any guidance on what to do in such a situation. It was an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience. Determined to have a better experience for this rescheduled trip, I came across Chima Travel—and am so glad I did. When we faced potential flight issues a few days before the cruise, Brian was also right there to talk through all the options. Fantastic experience: Will planned my honeymoon in Scotland and he was amazing! The process was so smooth -- all I had to do was book my flights, and he even found the best one for me beforehand. There was an issue with one of our tours being in the wrong language, and I didn't notice it until the day before we left. I emailed Will and it was fixed the next day! Fantastic experience: Robin did an excellent job arranging our UK Cruize. She planned everything down to the last detail. Robin was easy to work with, flexible with any changes we requested and always available.. i was hospitalized in France and upon returning home needed to file lots of paperwork with the travel insurance, AON. Brian Chima was invaluable going through that process. He was helpful filing the documents and phone calls to the insurance company. I would highly recommend this company

Fantastic experience: I've never been crazy about traveling. For the past 30 years when I have had to travel it's been for work and the company paid for, planned and ran my trip. All I had to do was wait for my ride to the airport or my wife made all my plans. The last time I took a flight on my own was a People's Express flight. (yes I'm THAT old) and that was from Newark Airport. So being new to the area and needing to travel to Arizona by myself for a family event had me a little nervous. I decided to talk to Brian at Chima Travel and gave him a list of my 'preferences' and 'deal breakers'. I let him know about my anxiety about this trip and my limited budget. Even with all my crazy issues, he got me a great flight well within my budget and took care of everything. Although I was traveling alone and a little nervous I knew if I had questions Brian was right there with an answer. He made it so easy that I actually enjoyed the trip and feel that I will be doing some more traveling soon. (Maybe escape the Ohio winter for a week or so). Oh, and if you're wondering... I did meet a few other family members in Arizona and even using a travel agent, I got the BEST price on my flight by far. I saved about 30% over what I would have spent booking myself and what my family members spent booking their own flights. I cannot say enough about Brian and the team at Chima Travel. Fantastic experience: We used Chima travel for our 25th wedding anniversary trip to Hawaii. We worked with Brian who was a complete whiz when it came to planning our trip. We did three islands, two rental cars, and a number of excursions. Brian worked within our budget and was very thorough every step of the way. His organization and communication were outstanding! We received a booklet just before our trip outlining everything in chronological order. He did not miss a detail! Having that was so helpful and we looked at it every day. Our flight home was cancelled by the airlines and we looked in the booklet and it told us exactly what to do. Fantastic experience: We were incredibly happy with our recent Italy trip planned by Chima Travel. Brian created an itinerary that included great hotels, terrific tour guides, private drivers, and high speed train reservations- plus a few recommendations sprinkled in. Our family enjoyed an amazing trip to Rome, Florence, Pisa, Sorrento, and Pompeii! Our 10-day trip went incredibly smooth. I would highly recommend Chima.

To get started, Brian asked what our goals were for the trip. Then, based on his experience, Brian provided suggestions for an itinerary. Fantastic experience: Brian & Teri put together a wonderful honeymoon for us (Mediterranean Cruise). Everything went according to plan with minimal issue, our flights worked out perfectly with little time at connections, the cruise ship/staff were great, everything was up to par! The only thing I would have done differently is pack less so I could buy more clothes on the trip.

The amount of detail that went into our trip to Portugal and Spain was huge on their part. Brian prepared a folder of every detail that we would need while traveling. It was immensely helpful. Fantastic experience: From our first conversation and then all of the recommendations from that point forward Brian and the Chima team created such a memorable 10 day trip to Paris for our family. Brian made sure he knew what "we" wanted to do and the pace that worked for us. We had the time of our life, and through his connections in Paris all of tours and special arrangements were timed and in place, from skip the line to seats on the window for the dinner cruise and the best tour guide at the Louvre that one could imagine. Our agent Robin could not have worked harder to make sure every aspect of our trip went well, even on items that were, strictly speaking, not items that she handled directly. Unfortunately one of the people we were traveling with became ill and had to be hospitalized in France. Robin and Brian did a masterful job of not only coordinating the early departure from the ship and all subsequent details with the Cruise line, Princess, but also all other items necessary for our friend to get home to Texas. Fantastic experience: I'm sitting here reminiscing on two family trips to Europe and realized I never left the google review that I had planned to do. Our family cannot say enough about the vacations planned by Brian at Chima Travel. We took our first overseas vacation in 2016. A friend of ours highly recommended Brian so we called him. We sat down with Brian and told him what we wanted to do and with his vast knowledge of traveling overseas, we planned a most wonderful trip for our family to London, Dublin, and Zurich. Last year I wanted to go back to Ireland and London in celebration of a milestone birthday. We met with Brian and once again he planned the most amazing trip for us. Brian arranged a private tour of the Ireland coast and accommodations for our family of 4 and it was absolutely life changing. Henry was our tour guide and he was truly our best friend for 5 days--he was extraordinary! We were sad to say goodbye! We then flew to London for several days which Brian helped us with phenomenal hotel accommodations and transportation needed to the British Grand Prix. Brian arranged all of our flights and hotels...everything was perfect. He sent emails reminding us of flight check ins etc. and any communications needed during the trip. Brian is incredible to work with and so knowledgeable and fun. Loved working with him and grateful for his travel expertise. We had not used a travel agent in years, but decided to do so for Egypt as the planning was a bit more complex than other trips. Fantastic experience: Our trip to Italy was incredible. Everything went so smooth thanks to Brain planning out every detail for us. I love a plan and organization is HUGE to me so having the binder with all of our information was amazing. Opening it when it came in the mail felt like a present! It's also such a fun souvenir to remember our trip. Brian did such a good job planning out tours for us to do and was very knowledgable of how to best utilize our time while seeing all the important places like the Vatican and Colosseum. He booked all of our ground transports for us and basically just told us when to be somewhere and where as well as any dress code information etc. that we needed to know. We didn't have to do any of the research ourselves which was so nice! I cannot recommend them enough and my husband and I are eager to decide where to go next.

Fantastic experience: For our trip to Italy, we had an agenda in mind, then asked Brian and his Chima group to make the trip happen, and they did an excellent job, start to finish. This included transportation, guided tours and hotels, with everything being well arranged and well handled. Also, Brian does a great job with staying involved, making sure everything went as planned, answering questions and fixing any issues quickly and efficiently. We had a great time and were well satisfied with the help Chima and Brian provided.

Fantastic experience: We worked with Brian and team for our Italian trip of a lifetime (so far)! We were in 4 different locations so our trip involved flights (we got some great economy plus seats at a great price…he was on top of that!!!), multiple trains and lots of very prompt drivers and extremely knowledgeable tour guides! We gave Brian our overall “wants” and he made it happen and then some!! I can’t imagine the trip going any more spectacularly! He has spoiled us for sure!! Fantastic experience: The detailed, extensive dream trip I needed help with was taken care of seamlessly and perfectly by Brian, and this was my first time using Chima travel. I gave him an almost impossible itinerary, which included so much of Italy, and Vatican City and Monaco and Barcelona. We didnt miss one. He was able to incorporate a cruise for 7 days that brought us to France and Monaco, and ended in Barcelona. The rest of Italy was trains, perfect private tours and private drivers, as was our wish. Fantastic experience: Just completed our 2nd vacation that Chima put together for us. This time an Alaskan cruise. It was an awesome trip and all aspects went off without a hitch. Kudos to Brian and his team! As a side note, unforeseen circumstances required us to reschedule our original July travel date. Fantastic experience: Our trip to Rome/Paris/London- was truly fantastic! I am not a sight seer at heart but it was amazing!!!- All the tours were great and the information provided by Chima travel made everything so easy. I was initially a little worried about traveling overseas as I have travelled inside the US much but none overseas - but I had nothing to worry about- everywhere I felt safe and able to communicate. Without a doubt it was most enjoyable trip I have ever taken.

Fantastic experience: There are a lot of logistics when traveling abroad (aside from plane tickets [booking, rescheduling, cancellations etc]) there are also hotel bookings, train tickets, museum reservations etc that factor in. Chima Travel not only handled a re-booking of our cancelled flights out of the states to Italy seamlessly, but assured and supplied tickets ahead of time for our trains and museum tours which meant for a smooth transition at each of our destinations as well as excursions enjoyed while being there.
