Fantastic experience: We earned our PADI Open Water scuba certification through ScubaBros back in November 2023, just in time for a Caribbean scuba trip. Due to some last-minute planning, we were on a tight schedule to complete our certification. Many dive shops in the OKC metro had already stopped their lake dives for the year because of plummeting water temperatures and visibility. While referral dives in the Caribbean were an option, they were as expensive as the entire course here in Oklahoma. We initially hesitated to drive farther to ScubaBros instead of going to shops in Norman or Moore that were much closer. However, they were one of the few places still conducting lake dives in late fall, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Our experience was fantastic! The instructors, Allen and Zach, were patient, thorough, and committed to our safety and understanding. They even gave us extra pool time to build confidence before the challenging lake dives. ScubaBros has its own dive facility in El Reno, and we completed our last lake dive on November 19th. They keep going until the water drops below 55°F, which allowed us to finish just in time for our trip. While the conditions during the lake dives were far from ideal—55°F water, terrible visibility, cold rain, and even hail—it made our dives in Puerto Rico less than a week later feel like a dream by comparison. We also appreciated the high-quality gear we purchased for class at a discount, which we now use for snorkeling and future dives. We been using them for over a year now and they still hold up pretty well. We’re already looking forward to returning to ScubaBros when we’re ready to pursue our advanced certification.

Fantastic experience: Our family has been to a few shops for training on our journey to scuba diving. Wife and I are now rescue divers, son is advanced, and have been very pleased with the crew at ScubaBros! They are experienced and are great at sharing their knowledge to keep us safe. When we've had issues with gear, they also have been able to get us repairs or replacement and back to diving. Looking forward to more experiences!

Negative experience: I had visited this store for the first time, I was greeted by Hope. I was in search for a wetsuit, Hope was very rude and unwelcoming. I was trying on a wet suit that clearly wasn't going over my chest and she told me that I just have to want it bad enough, and to squeeze into it! She was rude when I insisted on going up a size. I will never recommend this place and I will never visit it again.

Fantastic experience: There were four of us in our group, ages 12 to 66, at Scubabros Lake, this weekend. Anticipating our certification as scuba divers.We were also joined by about six others.Honestly, it was amazing. Fantastic experience: Scuba Bros has to be the best way to get scuba certified. The teachers work well with your comfort level, and encourage you when it's a particularly difficult skill. They also know their stuff. A couple of them have dived all around the world and can answer any questions about whatever dive sites you may be interested in. It was a very relaxing and enlightening experience overall. If you're looking to get scuba certified, this is a great place to do it.

From the OW class, and cert weekend to the extra pool practice, and my first dive trip they were with me my entire journey. Having some physical limitations I required extra assistance and they went above and beyond any expectations I may have had. They helped calm me and gave me the one-on-one attention that I needed. After several months of practice, I gained the confidence I needed to take the final test and become a certified diver! Fantastic experience: If you’re going in to this certification journey quite hesitant and slightly panicked that you won’t survive it (just as I was), trust me when I say you’ll leave confident and wanting to go diving every weekend if you could! Negative experience: shady with payment. first they said it's $10 for thursday nights everything* included, so I came and they said extra $5 if you need to rent mask and fins. okay, i paid $15. Next week I come, now they say the total is $25. I said, how come, last week they said $15? I showed them that they charged me $15 on bank statement, they said.. we don't know about that, it must have been a mistake, it's actually $25 on this chart right here... Before I came I even called the phone and confirmed it was $15... I don't have dementia, I remember clarifying that first time for $10 to include everything and thought, wow, that price is really nice!! So I didn't end up going for $25 simply because I feel played. Otherwise they are good with teaching scuba and stuff. P.S. the link leads to info on season* pass, not* one-night pass. On the bottom, without indication it mentions $10 and $15 prices, but if that is intended for a one-night pass, INDICATE IT. Or give it a separate page. Also, where is the indication to which of the prices include tanks, weights, BCD's for one*-night pass? the $10 or $15? right now, $10 or $15 exclude mention of those. I quote: "Mask, fins, snorkel, and wetsuits available to rent for $15 for the night" "The pool is open to all that pay the $10 cover. This includes swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, socializing and so on." Personally, such vague prices allow room to spin the charge in whatever direction. Someone traveling from afar may give up and pay whatever just to get it over with and not have their time wasted.

Fantastic experience: I just finished my open water certification and I am so happy I chose ScubaBros to do it at. I did all the online classwork and then I had serious doubts about me being able to scuba dive once I got in the water and Zach was extremely accommodating and understanding (I left the first day of class crying because I thought I couldn't do it), everyone was encouraging and they never made me feel bad or stupid, I came back a month later and finished the pool portion of the class with Allen and Ryan, and then this past weekend finished at their private lake. There shop is nice and has tons of options for gear. I bought a package and ended up not liking my mask and I was able to exchange it for a different one with no problem. I would 100% recommend ScubaBros, my whole experience was great and they really make you feel like a friend. I can't wait to book a trip with them later this year or next.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, thoughtful instruction. They were very attentive to my kids (10 and 15) as they progresses through certification, and ensured that they really understood the material and skills, rather than just going through the motions. The student:instructor ratio was the best I have ever encountered. They have a a private lake 35 minutes from Edmond (Union City)...no more trips to Ardmore for open dive skills (sorry Ardmore). Hands down I would choose Scubabros again for certification. My 15 year old already wants to pursue advanced and my 10 year old can't wait to learn specialties. Getting certified can be a little bit of a pain in Oklahoma, and these guys made it educational, fun and rewarding. Great job!

They truly care about you the individual and will do whatever it takes to ensure you are fully trained and comfortable with all the appropriate gear and necessary skills. Fantastic experience: Awesome team of instructors! A huge shout out to Allen for working with me in the pool and helping me overcome my fear of flooding/ removing my mask underwater. Zach for excellent instruction in class and in the pool. Ryan for excellent instruction/encouragement during the lake dive. All the dive masters are awesome. I felt safe while learning skills and developed confidence needed to learn life saving skills. Thank you for a wonderful experience! I can't wait to go on my first diving trip.

They have the best patients and really take their time to make sure you stay calm and understand everything . They continue to push their students to dive by having dive nights once a week and monthly and yearly trips that you can actually attend with them!!! Fantastic experience: I had always wanted to learn to dive. My wife gave me a gift certificate for my birthday and she and I completed the course last weekend. ALL of the staff at Scubabros were fantastic. We had Allen in the confined water part and Gary and Marvin in the pool. We did one part in the outdoor pool but the 55 degree day caused us to move to the indoor pool for that afternoon and the following day. The instructors were great they took their time and made sure you were comfortable with each skill required and they helped us with equipment. We had Zach and David at the Brolake open water classes. The visibility was a little lower that I would have like but the guys were great we had fun with the fish and really enjoyed this learning course. If you want to learn to dive or refresh your skills go to Scubabros they are the best place to get certified in Oklahoma they make the learn fun!!!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend ScubaBros for dive training! Mike, Zach and the whole staff are excellent trainers and have an obvious passion for the sport and safely getting new people involved. I can’t wait to continue my diving education with them and their terrific staff. - 16 months later and I've progressed to PADI Master Diver, my wife and kids are all certified and we'll be diving in Cozumel together soon all with the help of Scubabros & their amazing staff!
