Fantastic experience: Alhamdulillah my family and I performed Umrah in December 2024 with Amana. Hotels selected in Medina- Al Aqeeq and in Mecca- Swiss Al Mokam were the best experience to mention. Mohammed was very much reachable, responsive and caring. We enjoyed the accompany with our other group members. It’s a diverse group but didn’t feel each other as stranger. Things to improve: 1) If headphone with device could be arranged during Tawaf/ Mazarat, it’d be much helpful in listening Sheikh/ Guide. 2) Mazarat locations and date could be discussed among the attendees to get their thoughts prior scheduling finally. Overall it’s fair to say that Amana could be trusted fully in doing business with Umrah. It would be unjust to mention that Brother Mohammad and Sister Aida walked us through starting from planning to execution of our Umrah. May Allah approve our Umrah and may Allah continue to bless Amana in continuing Umrah services to the muslim ummah, ameen.

Fantastic experience: Went to Umrah for my very first time and it was amazing alhamdulillah. It was truly a really great experience bc Amana had taken care of everything for us. Before the trip, everyone would tell me all of their struggles they faced but Alhamdulillah I didnt have any. Amana really did everything and I got to focus on Allah sbt and Prophet Muhammad sbt. I didn’t have to think about where we were going or how I would get there, just basically follow the messages in the WhatsApp group. Aida (from office) was so great to work with, I know I stressed her out multiple times May Allah sbt reward her and her efforts A few things that I would like to see in the future: -More accommodations for non-Arabic speakers and first time Umrah: this could be providing English translations for duas (helps the person understand what they’re even saying), step by step instructions on how to perform Umrah, and giving them more attention to make sure they’re taken care of in general. Waiting to be asked questions isn’t always the best way to accommodate them, bc they may not even know what questions to even ask. -Have more than one leader per group. I truly felt the size of my group was way too big for just one person to handle, given all of the situations that occurred (someone got very visit, lost person in Makkah etc.) Our group leader was great, but he seemed stressed out half the time. May Allah sbt reward him for his efforts bc I know we weren’t an easy bunch -More organization, on top of what was given. I would’ve liked a full itinerary that I could look at before the trip (aside to the zoom call meeting). I would go with Amana again if these changes were made bc I loved having free time to do my own ibadah and travel the city outside of the tours. I definitely felt like a princess

It’s been over ten days since we returned from an Umrah trip (November Umrah & Istanbul) managed by New York-based Amana Travel Services. Even though a review like this was overdue, I paused to compose and convey my true feelings about the trip. Let me start by giving Amana Travels an A+ grade. I am sharing this highest possible grade because Amana executed the whole trip impeccably in precisely the way they promoted: from Detroit to Medina, Medina to Mecca, Mecca to Istanbul to Detroit -- in every location, Amana had a representative who took care of every nitty-gritty things-- from visa services to five-star hotel accommodations, Rawdah services, and Umrah performances were executed at a flawless fashion. Above all, Amana provided a spiritual leader, Imam Dr. Abdelhamid Algizawi, who not only served our spiritual needs but also overlooked every aspect of the trip so that Umrah performers could concentrate and be in peace in the house of Allah. Also, a departing gift of Zamzam water (5 liters/bottle/person) from Amana Travels Services was heart-warming! However, Amana could improve by using a high-speed train service from Medina to Mecca instead of a time-consuming bus ride. Brother Mahmoud of Amana Travel Services informed us they are in the process of evaluating the train service. He is hopeful to utilize this service in future Umrah trips. So, I have no hesitation in recommending Amana Travel Services to those actively considering performing an Umrah from anywhere in the USA in the future. Amana Travel Services is the way to go; they are the best!

Fantastic experience: I went on a trip with Amana travel agency back in February. I went on their umrah trip that included visting masjid al aqsa and Istanbul. I have never been so happy with a service. The tour guides provided both in Palestine and Istanbul were amazing, they had very knowledgeable people take us around both cities. Fantastic experience: Alhamdulilah our family of 5 (3 kids, 16, 10, and 2 years old) was able to visit the Kaaba and complete our Ummrah thanks to Amana Services. The Sheikhs were always helpful and answered all our questions when asked. The hotels that were booked were top-notch and the staff was very friendly and helpful. On the days where there was not guided-tours, we had free time to explore the surrounding area which was a very nice experience. Fantastic experience: Alhamdulilah, we just completed our first Umrah with a wonderful group of people, and this is the best trip of our life!!! To be honest, we were a bit nervous in the beginning as we were traveling with 4 kids ages 10yrs, 7yrs, 4yrs, and 0.6yrs. However, with confidence from Allah and speaking with brother Mohammed, we booked the trip! The experience we got is beyond what we expected - hotels, foods, guided tours and services are top-notch, and most importantly kids are very happy.
