Fantastic experience: I very seldom put reviews online but I feel obligated to do so because after many tours to different parts of the world and getting excellent service from Jafferson Travel & Tours I have to share my experiences. Prior to my trips I was provided with very clear instructions, plans and ways to communicate. Any questions or concerns I had were very promptly addressed. While on the tours they kept in regular touch with us, they kept making sure that things were going as planned and all we had to do was to enjoy our trip. I have been with many different tour companies in past but never experienced such a piece of mind before. Their professionalism, providing personal care and service is exemplary. Negative experience: I have booked air ticket with Jefferson travel but he had take 400 usd more than qatar invoice ....he had never explained the rational behind over charges ...even he had canceled ticket but he didn't provide the invoice as well ...

Fantastic experience: We have used TJ multiple times for trips to Hawaii and NYC and he has always done a fantastic job with lots of attention to detail in those trips. Back in the spring, friends of ours asked us if we wanted to join them in touring Scotland for two weeks. They gave us their itinerary, the places they were staying (all Air BnB), so I was tasked to find places close to where they were staying and book flights out of Detroit (our friends were flying out of DC). So I found hotels near where they were staying and then had an epiphany: What can TJ do? So I called him, showed him my reservations and basically asked to match the budget that I had laid out. TJ did a fantastic job upgrading my hotel in Edinburgh and combined my existing reservations into the overall package and got a more desirable flight going in and out. But wait, there’s more! He also added private transportation for pickup at Edinburgh airport and also return transportation to the airport after our trip from a local hotel. He called me during the trip (even with the 5 hour time difference) to ensure we had the details of the transportation pickups and just general check ins. TJ also included an extra airport hotel the night before the trip back that I had not accounted for in my budget. He matched my budget with all these extras! He also was integral in resolving a billing issue with one of the hotels on our trip. If you want a stress free trip with attention to detail, look no further than Jafferson Travel. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I went to Turkey (Istanbul and Cappadocia) for 10 days. The trip was planned so well, every little detail was taken into account. Private tours, private drivers, transportation to hotel-airport and back, daily agendas, amazing hotels, amazing food… everything was booked. The best part of it all was the fact that Talhah, the travel agent, was amazing when it came to communicating with us by checking in every day and responding ASAP to any text i sent him. I HIGHLY recommend!

Fantastic experience: I recently used Jafferson Travel to plan a trip for my husband's 30th birthday, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the service provided by our travel agent, TJ. To illustrate how exceptional he was, let me give you some context. We initially planned a last-minute trip to Puerto Rico, but just days before the departure, I decided to switch to the USVI. TJ handled the change effortlessly. Unfortunately, our flight to the USVI was then canceled due to the recent cyberattack affecting airlines, but TJ navigated this challenge and rearranged everything smoothly. He assured us he would be available by call or text throughout the trip and he truly was. I also asked for our hotel room to be decorated with balloons for my husband’s birthday, and TJ made sure it was done beautifully. Additionally, he arranged for a cheesecake, my husband’s favorite, to be waiting for us. TJ was extremely thoughtful and knowledgeable, making our trip stress-free. I highly recommend TJ and will definitely use his services again. In fact, we’re already planning another trip for October with his help.

Fantastic experience: TJ deserves a 10 star rating. TJ booked us an 11 day once in a lifetime trip to Hawaii. The hotel was amazing, excursions phenomenal, and restaurants spectacular. TJ literally works 24/7. He promised that he would be with us until we were back home, and he truly was. He was always just a text message away. Fantastic experience: My family and I went to Italy, and we worked with Tj to plan this trip. Tj was wonderful to work with. He coordinated airfare, car and train transportation, and experiences for each full day. He even ensured our 1-year old had car seats and cribs wherever we went. Where Tj really stood out was during the trip. While overseas, he was a text/phone call away. With the time difference, this meant some very early mornings for him. He helped us coordinate transportation during an Uber and taxi driver strike, a hotel change, and a missed train. Fantastic experience: Recently my 95 year old father-in-law booked a Princess Cruise through Jafferson Travel. He wanted to make the Panama Canal trip alone…a “bucket list” goal. Due to his age and physical limitations, the arrangements were quite involved and complex. His travel agent, TJ, went the extra mile in every instance to insure Dad was taken care of, including a “middle of the night” emergency call to the cruise line to assist him for a medical issue. I recommend this travel agency highest for their great service and personal attention.

Later in the year, my mom got sicker and it felt like I was going to TJ a lot thinking of changing, delaying the vacation, he was/is very compassionate in every way, he wasn't putting guilt on me about delaying the vacation or even thinking about canceling. Fantastic experience: TJ was wonderful! If you are looking for hassle free travel then I highly recommend this agency. They put me in contact with TJ within an hour of my calling and he could not have been any better throughout this whole process! Fantastic experience: My friends often ask me why I continue to use the services of a travel agent despite the ubiquity of online travel sites. My response is always the same. Does your travel agent put the same energy and diligence into booking your tickets as they would into arranging travel for someone from their own family? Would they break a religious observance to help you in an emergency even if they are devout? Would they remember to call you the day before your flight because you missed a flight over an year ago that they had booked for you? Would they lobby the airline to explain your exigencies and work to minimize flight change fees *after* you have already missed a flight? Could you have travelled internationally during the Covid chaos knowing that they would help you navigate the ever evolving maze of regional travel restrictions and requirements? Yameen has done all of these things and more for my family and me over the twenty years that I have worked with him and Jafferson Travels. I don't think of Yameen as my travel agent, I have come to think of him as a friend now even though I didn't know him when I first booked a trip with him. It is wonderful to see the next generation in TJ following in Yameen's footsteps. TJ has already helped us plan a vacation and we look forward to more travels with this team. Fantastic experience: TJ helped us book our honeymoon for Thailand (we went the end of September). We had to almost cancel our trip (do to health reasons) and he was working with us, booking our “puddle jumping” flights the night before we left. We went to BANKOK, PHUKET, and CHAING MAI. Each place was beautiful and unique in its own way. We could always ALWAYS get ahold of TJ while planning the trip AND while on it. He was accommodating and very personable. He worked in our price range and set up “little surprises” along the trip as well. The hotels he set up for us were remarkable. They definitely didn’t disappoint! TJ was an amazing travel agent to work with. When he says, “I’ll be with you for your whole trip”, he means it. I would message him about something at 3am our time, AND HE WOULD RESPOND AND fix the issue/answer the question. He would message us before we even needed to ask with all the info we needed for our flights and transportation. He even called the hotels for us when we thought we left things behind. Highly recommend working with this company and will for sure use him again in the future. I have been traveling the world with my grandma since I was 6, so I’m not a “new traveler “. He even helped us look up side trips to take while at each of our stops. TJ even asked for constructive feedback when we got back, so he could help the next travelers with their trip. No regrets!

Fantastic experience: I wanted to book a vacation to Turks and Caicos. As someone who has never traveled far from home, I found the task to be daunting. I know there are a lot of moving parts involved with planning a trip. To me, that means lots of opportunities for details to fall through the cracks. Fantastic experience: TJ did a great job helping us plan our vacation to Riviera Maya, Mexico. The resort was absolutely stunning. We had private travel to and from the airport as well as beautiful swim up hotel rooms traveling as a group of four. He made sure our rooms were next to each other and we had everything we needed even in the middle of the trip!

While on our cruise he texted us every few days, made sure we got a driver in Vancouver and in Anchorage, and had our tickets to fly home. Fantastic experience: TJ was amazing in planning our last minute trip to LA. He took care of all the details with the airport (even setup special accommodations for me with a wheelchair) and found us a phenomenal hotel! He really took away all the stress of planning a vacation and I will always use him to book my future trips. We even have our next vacation to Costa Rica booked through him already. Highly recommend this travel agency he is so quick with his response times and even planned a special surprise in our hotel for our honeymoon.

Fantastic experience: Talha did an amazing job accommodating my stay in Mexico. Amazing resort, the best accommodation on the resort, great transportation on the way back. Unique experiences with the private beach dinner, very impressive. Highly recommend. Flying delta was nice too, over flying spirit all the time. Truly was all around a great trip. A little expensive, but worth the money.

Fantastic experience: How do I even begin to describe the excellent service we received from T.J. From the very first moment we talked to him, we received red carpet treatment that never ended. He understood what we wanted and gave us exactly that. He took care of everything from checking us in to at the airport to altering our hotel bill for a mismatched bill. He kept up with us while we were on our trip and made sure we were well taken care of. The best part of his service....we had been diverted because of a security threat at our destination on the way home. We called him from the airplane and within 10 minutes he had us an alterative way home if the airport didn't' open. Fortunately we returned safely home on the plane and didn't have any more bumps. I would highly recommend and implore anyone to use T.J. at Jafferson Travel & Tours for any travel. You will be treated like royalty and you will never be disappointed. Fantastic experience: Yameen Jaffer is an absolute saint, he helped me figure out what I'd need to travel, worked with my schedule effortlessly, and assuaged all of my worries with utmost ease. He is a consummate professional, knows how to plan for cost and comfort, even volunteers advice on how best to travel at the destination, and was very understanding with my total unfamiliarity with travelling. I've no doubt I'll never find another person as patient, cheerful, and honest as Yameen. I cannot recommend his experience, advice, and professional deftness enough! He was also the ONLY travel agent that would help me book airline tickets alone, and who was not stuck to a pledged set of 'bundles' like the other 5 travel agencies I had contacted prior. Whatever you need for travel, this is the place to go and be sure you'll be well taken care of. It's also exceptionally easy to get everything done over the phone. Fantastic experience: My husband & I went on our honeymoon to Punta Cana which we had planned through JT. At first, we weren’t sure where we wanted to go, but Talha was such a great help & had many suggestions including videos & pictures that helped us get the feel of the different destinations. Fantastic experience: We worked with Jefferson Travel & Tours for an international trip. From hotel booking, flight, and airport transportation, Talha was great to work with. He checked up on us frequently to make sure all our needs were met and any concerns worked through. When we did have an issue with not being able to find and confirm our airport transportation for our return flight, we informed Talha. From there, he just took care of it and let us know that our return travel to airport is confirmed. He has his own listing of places but you can also show him a particular hotel you may be interested in. That what we did. That is, found our own hotel that we were interested in and he still took care of it from there, which was really great for us. Traveling, specially internationally, isn’t the easiest thing. However, it helps to have someone take care of issues for you if any does arise. He is professional and courteous. I would highly recommend working with him and plan on myself for future trips.
