Negative experience: Yesterday I requested service for a tow to the tire shop for a replacement. My address was accurate. This was around 1p. The ETA was 4p. The serviceman ended up showing up around 2:45p. Never received a call or text or tracking link. Thankfully my dogs began barking when they heard someone in front of the house. I looked outside and it was the serviceman turning down a side street; which I assumed was to make a turnaround for a better pickup. My husband went out there to greet the guy. He drove off right passed him. Next thing I know we have a notification on the app saying job complete- address can’t be found. I have the camera footage from Vivint of the guy claiming to not be able to find the address and he was right in front. How could you not have seen my husband or the big truck reported. Needless to say we had to place another request and by the time the serviceman shows up all of the tire shops are closed. I’ve been with AAA 3yrs but will be canceling my service after this trial is up. Blatant liars.

Negative experience: Got my rear brakes changed in April. I do travel Healthcare for a living so my car is my life blood. I'm in California, 10 months later, approximately 16k miles and guess who needs new rear pads?? If they were even decent they should have been good for 45-50k miles!! I've used this shop since they were over on 3rd, never again!!

Negative experience: Took my car in for an oil change, tire rotation and to diagnose a check engine light. I was told a service rep would call or text about the diagnosis. No call/Text about when I could pick up the car. Got a ride to the shop and was told all work was done. After I let the ride go the service manager then mentioned there was no oil change or tire rotation done. When I complained about the work not being done and no communication he said they were busy. I've used this shop ( including the previous location on 3rd Avenue) for 10 plus years. Not again

Negative experience: I've been taking my car to this location for the past 11 years. I needed new gaskets and spark plugs and made an appointment for some work to be done. When I arrived at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning to drop off my car, they told me they could not find my appointment in the computer but would be able to "fit me in". I knew this was going to be a 5-6-hour job and knew my car wasn't going to be done the same day just by Jordan's response. They didn't even have my scheduled appointment in the computer but left my car and told me to keep me updated. Never heard anything on Saturday, obviously they are closed on Sunday. And gave them a call midday on Monday to check the status. I was told, " it should be done today". Again, I asked just to be communicated with and keep me updated so I could make arrangements to get to work. Never heard anything Monday, never heard anything Tuesday so called back on Wednesday midday. Again, told " it should be done today". Never heard anything Wednesday, never heard anything Thursday so called back Friday midday. That's when I was told my car had not even been started on. I have had wonderful experiences when Steve was still working at this location, but apparently there's some new changes taking place. I told them since I was lied to for 6 days and and my car hadn't even been started, I would pick it up and take it somewhere else and never be back. Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life! After all of the problems I had for 6 days, just finding out what the status was, I can only imagine what kind of shoddy work they're going to do. That was a $1,000 job that you guys just lost out on and you have now lost a customer for life!

Negative experience: STAY FAR AWAY!!! Horrible! I am compelled to express my utter disgust with the abysmal service I received at your establishment. It took over two days—two entire days—to perform the simple task of changing a tire. As if that weren’t bad enough, your team had the audacity to recommend unnecessary repairs and maintenance, revealing either gross incompetence or a deliberate attempt to scam customers. Hidden warranties? Unacceptable. Customer service? Nonexistent. I was constantly left on hold, wasting my time while your team floundered. The icing on this disaster? Your staff suggested I replace my transmission fluid, claiming it was dirty—only to admit later that no one had even checked it. Instead, they made this baseless recommendation purely off mileage. This level of dishonesty and negligence is beyond shameful. On top of all this, I doubt my 10% discount was applied, further confirming that your operation is either woefully mismanaged or intentionally deceitful. I will be reporting this disgraceful behavior to the Better Business Bureau and leveraging my legal insurance to ensure accountability. Your business is a scam, plain and simple.

Negative experience: My car was at the Grandview facility for 5 days for what was ultimately hypothesized to be a bad battery connection. Communication from the shop was abysmal; calls and texts were not returned or ignored, and I was without a car for nearly a week. Incredibly frustrating, very poor service, and I still don’t know that they have gotten to the root of the problem.

Negative experience: If I could give - 0 star, I would right now... First off these people had my car for 2 days! They messaged me towards the end of day 1 saying they were dealing with many tow ins and couldn't get to my car and would be finished the next day. I call around 3pm day 2 and they hadn't even touched it yet and had no idea why it was even there. Miscommunication, but never attempted to contact me to ask.... But they would now get on it and it'd be ready for me at closing. Free oil change next time for inconvenience.. When I finally went to get in my car I was repulsed to find grease and whatever else smeared all over the inside of my light grey interior. Absolutely disgusted with their service I complained to the one person left there for the day but she only offered that I bring it back for them to clean the next day... Never brought me any paper towels to sit on, nothing. I was was still trying to clean up what I could when she left. She wouldn't even look at me on her way out as she pulled out of the parking spot next to me. And pretty sure they didn't fix my brakes. Charged me for the job but didn't do a thing with them... I basically paid them $400 to destroy the inside of my car. Update: they also spilled brake fluid down the outside of my car taking off the polish I had done recently. Now I need an exterior to fix too!

Negative experience: I had my car towed to this pace on July 22nd. The tow truck guy said that they had a 10% offer on repairs at their place. I waited a week with no phone call back. Finally decided to call after patiently waiting for over a week. They said they figured out the problem with my car and the issue was the key ignition and the steering column needed replaced. Weird that they never reported that to me, until I called them. Either way, after another week went by, still no phone call back. I called them again and they gave me estimated price for the repair. That was the only information I got until then. Again, I patiently waited another WHOLE WEEK! STILL NO PHONE CALL! I decided to go there in person to check up on my car. I discovered there was a huge scratch and dent on the side of my car!!! I asked them how it got there because it definitely wasn’t there before. They said they don’t know how it could’ve happened. I asked them if they have any surveillance cameras to see if they can find out how it could’ve happened, but they said their cameras don’t work and that they need to get their cameras fixed. A couple more days go by and I called them again. They said they ran into an issue where the steering column wasn’t working properly. They said it was working fine when it was on the table, but when they put it in my car, it wasn’t working. What’s even crazy is they gave a me a time and day of when they would work on my car next, WHILE also telling me that they’ve been busy fixing other cars. OTHER CARS?! They’ve been ignoring my car for who knows how long! The fact that they told me that, tells me that they have not been putting full time effort on my car!!! The day they said they’d get back to my car comes, and AGAIN, no phone call! So I called them again. Same reasoning, they said they can’t figure out the problem and they got a different guy working on it now! ANOTHER WHOLE WEEK GOES BY!!! I CANNOT MAKE THIS UP! Same reasoning again! I am now considering getting my car towed to another place. However I’m still reporting this issue to their District Manager and Customer Management, and still, I have to wait to get a response from them as well! It is currently August 26th! Over a month and I still don’t have my car! All from a key ignition and a steering column!!! I’ve never waited for a car to get repaired this long in my entire life! This is ridiculous and very unprofessional of them, especially when it comes to the communication part. At this point, I believe they are intentionally ignoring my car because they don’t want the hassle and that they’re hoping that I decide to get my car towed somewhere else, so they don’t have to deal with it anymore!

Negative experience: Sadly, the Car Care at this location has really fallen apart. I've been taking my car here for almost a decade and would have given a glowing review in the past. However, I have had issues the last few times with scheduling, and today was it for me. Apparently they aren't actually a full-service car care center anymore, just an over priced Jiffy Lube now. In the past they would take care of every issue my car had, except muffler work, but today they said I'm better off going to a dealership service center. Don't bother going here for anything more than an oil change and tire rotation, and even then you'll probably have to wait a couple weeks to get in.

Negative experience: I had my Honda towed to this location Friday April 5th at the recommendation of the AAA service line. I am between mechanics and there was a discount so I figured this was among my best options. Unfortunately, service was incredibly disorganized. After 1.5 weeks without a car, waiting for the recommended parts to arrive, being told that the parts were delayed, then never ordered, I had no choice but to have my car towed to another mechanic, where service was completed in less than 48 hours, at a lower price than I was quoted at this facility. I would encourage better communication between this repair shop and local towing services, these workers seem to be underwater and I feel for them, but this experience was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and ultimately my car was not repaired by them. Extremely disappointing experience.

Negative experience: Very poor service from this location. Lack of communication within. I had my car towed in from a AAA affiliated tow truck on a Sunday night. For a back right flat tire. Utilized the drop off feature. Filled an online form about my flat tire. Called on Monday morning and spoke to Gary. No idea that my car is there. Asks to call me back. Proceeds to call me back and tells me my tire is flat. I call again Monday afternoon, speak to Nathan. He also has no idea that my car is there. Said that there wasn’t a request made. States he will make a request and call me back with a quote. He calls back and leaves a message saying my back right tire is flat and needs replaced. Tuesday morning I call back. I speak to Gary. I am told that I need to replace all 4 tires. Asks if he can put me on hold. I tell him no at this point. I am tired of the phone tag game because nothing is getting accomplished. I want an email from now on because I don’t trust that anyone is doing their jobs. I get an email for a quote close to $1200. I call back with my father on the line as well because now I want a witness. I tell Gary that I want my back right tire replaced. That I understand the recommendation is for all my tires to be replaced however I financially can replace one and I need my car by Thursday. Again, I dropped my car off Sunday, Placed an online order on Sunday, called on Monday, spoke to two people, Gary and Nathan, when I called in on Tuesday order still has not been placed. Now we are at Wednesday ~4pm. I call and speak to Steve to check on my car. I’m placed on hold as he checks for it. He gets on the line and states that they haven’t received anything. That the place typically calls back within 15mins. Asks to call me back. I tell him no that I now want a confirmation of the order via email. The email states that the order was placed Tuesday ~5pm. They will call me with an update. At what point does this facility need to be held accountable? Each day extended I am paying for a rental car. Highly discourage using this location.

Positive experience: So if you are in a wreck this service is no good. They wouldn't come pick up my vehicle from my house an tow it to the local collision center because my passenger tire was messed up. So i pretty much pay a membership incase my keys are locked in or i need a battery jump. This is unfortunate way to find out.

Positive experience: They do a great job on the oil change been going there for about 3 years . Went there today told them I wanted the oil change winter special they got it completely in 5 hours. 12 to 5 As them to check front end of truck for possible alignment.and check for oil leak. When picking up. They didn't mention anything about the alignment or the oil leak.after taking 5 hours for oil change and wiper replacement. I wasn't going to ask about the other items when picking up.

Fantastic experience: Great serviceand commitment
Negative experience: My wife and I had an in-person consult with Dawn to discuss options for a trip overseas. We came into the meeting with only a vague idea of what we wanted and through an extended conversation with Dawn, we narrowed down to 2 options for a trip. Dawn promised us that she would send our trip proposal of the options via email and then we could decide which option suited us best. I gave Dawn 2 weeks to allow her to work and then followed up via email to see how things were going. Dawn never responded. To top it off, I went back to this location to have my passport photo taken a month later and when she took my photo and processed my credit card, Dawn never realized that she had failed to follow-up after our meeting. I understand that this location may be short-staffed, but there needs to be the common courtesy to follow-up with clients who are expecting your communication. This set us back over a month in our trip planning. Luckily, we were able to link up with Grandview Travel who had a proposal prepared for us in less than 2 hours on a Friday afternoon.
Fantastic experience: We’re taking a Fall trip to Milwaukee for a conference, and called for some travel information. Not only did we get someone who cared about what we were looking for, but we made our reservations, and got a remarkable rate. I don’t have to lift a finger of things to do for this trip. That was my idea of service. Thank you AAA for amazing travel consultants.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter's car had an aging starter and would not start late one evening. Called AAA and they towed it here. Long story short, the car started over and over for the next week when they were checking it out. The mechanic was always in communication with us, calling multiple numbers to get in contact with us. We picked the car up 8 days later and drove it home with no service or storage fees. Their customer service was great. Don't hesitate to take your vehicle here.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my cars here for over 10 years. Steve and the grandview team are amazing! I’ve never been oversold or told I need something when I don’t. In fact, when the dealership tells me something needs replaced, I always take it here to get a second opinion. 9 out of 10 times I don’t need it and they explain in detail why. Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for over 15 years and have never been disappointed with the knowledge and service. When anything is diagnosed, they let me know if it requires an immediate fix, can wait a while, or is not really a driving issue. I also receive many discount coupons through my AAA membership. It's a very honest place with very nice people, especially the manager Steve, and I rely on them to keep me safe on the road.

Fantastic experience: My windshield wiper motor seized up on the highway yesterday. A truck came by and splashed a ton of water on my windshield, but I was unable to see because I had then discovered my wipers weren't working. I pulled over and called AAA. They were fast, courteous, and friendly. I talked to Steve later that day, and he had notified me that the whole housing unit was just frozen, and since they had an open bay, they were able to unthaw it with no problem. When I asked him the charge, he said it was no charge. That really made my day. He could have charged me, but he was an honest and good person. Steve, I don't know if you will ever see this, but you truly helped me out. I did not have the money, and like so many folks, have been struggling financially to make ends meet. What you did was truly a blessing. And I almost got teary on the phone. I have been with AAA for over 15 years, and people like Steve have been nothing but outstanding. Thank you so much for your service to the community!

Negative experience: $51.59 for an oil change is too much. I understand your explanation: You only have one type of oil — full synthetic. As a AAA member in Cincinnati, I never paid more than $29 for an oil change. Even outside AAA at my mechanic’s. I wish AAA Columbus would sell just plain old oil and offer the consumer a choice. At this price, I can’t see myself returning to this shop. For the executives at AAA who make these decisions, I would be interested in hearing your rationale. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: We recently booked a honeymoon to Riviera Maya with Todd Decker and had a wonderful experience! Having booked our original travel date for April (during the Covid-19 shutdown), Todd took care of us every step of the way. He booked and re-booked our hotels, flights, and transportation multiple times and was extremely responsive to our emails and phone calls. Even when we had weather related damage to our hotel room during the trip, Todd responded with help all the way from Ohio to get our room fixed and our trip back on track. We have encouraged our parents to book future trips with Todd because he made everything so easy and stress free for us!

Negative experience: Would be zero stars if I could do it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They will look at you as a walking paycheck and could not care less about actually fixing your car. Just ask my leaking radiator hose that they tried turning into a busted water pump! And then let’s say hypothetically the EXACT same problem has occurred that you brought it in for 3 weeks ago? Well, get ready to get charged again! Scummy business practice and again I advise all to avoid them.

Fantastic experience: Love AAA. Always there when you need them and they usually arrive before the estimated time. The tow guys are so friendly and helpful and the phone staff is as well.
Fantastic experience: Recently got an oil change. I received a complimentary oil change because they forgot to do an oil change back in March when I had other work done. They kept their word! I also was hearing an unusual sound when I turned the steering wheel back and forth. Turns out the ball joints just needed lubed. No charge! These guys are great!
