Positive experience: A lot of information and maps on hand. Staff was not very helpful or informative when I asked about things to do, and dog friendly places to visit during my one day trip. I ended up getting brochures and figuring out myself.

Negative experience: Not terribly impressed. Mostly high end boutiques and shopping. Not particularly child friendly.

Negative experience: Door County parks used to publish and update a map showing the various sections of Door County snowmobile maps, giving conditions of each. This was great as you knew what to expect and could go to Door County in winter to sled. In the winter of 2020/2021 they discontinued this information and there is no easy way to see where the trails are open or conditions of each segment. Why would I drive there without any information on whether I need to drive somewhere else where conditions are publicized?

Fantastic experience: This is a well stocked and well staffed Visitors Center in Sturgeon Bay with a very nice shaded outdoor courtyard as well.

Fantastic experience: We visited around 4pm on Monday September 30. They had lots of info booklets, lots of knowledge and great recommendations and they were quite literally the friendliest people in the world. I was dealing with some work stuff that wasn't so much fun and I was a little crabby when I walked in there. Then after we left I was feeling waaaaay better and told my buddy Jeff I was "going to give those people a five star review right away!" So here I am. Five stars. Wish I could give more than five stars.

Positive experience: Open 24/7. However, the lobby is only staffed 9am-6pm. Important place to visit for everything you need to know about Door County. Even has charging stations for electric cars.
